Barbara Simpson Interview with Dr. Katherine Albrecht

Barbara Simpson gave another great interview this week-end on her radio show on KSFO.  I think I linked to the one about GMOs a few months ago.  Saturday's interview (Aug. 4, 2012)  she interviewed privacy expert Dr. Katherine Albrecht.  The show is mostly about micro-chipping.  Penney's is planning on micro-chipping everything in their store in 2013.  Macy's and Walmart also intend to do the same.  There are movements also to microchip people, of course. People are already microchipping their pets.  Dr. Albrecht explains that cancer rates go up in animals who are microchipped.

Either way, now is a great time to invest in Reynold's Wrap because apparently tinfoil really can block the RFID chips.

Getting Started With Bunny Berigan

Cardinal Signs are the ignition points of the horoscope wheel.  They represent the Solstice and Equinox Points which show beginnings of the Seasons on planet earth.Cardinal Signs represent beginnings and starting points.

So this reminded me of one of my favorite songs.

I Can't Get Started.

I sort of wondered if Bunny had Cardinal Sign issues in his chart.  He did.  He had a Cardinal t-square with apex Mars 15 Libra squaring Uranus 14 Capricorn opposing Neptune 18 Cancer Rx.  He was also born with Libra Rising which is a Cardinal Sign.

Berigan had that big natal a Cardinal Sign t-square in his natal chart.  And he lived through the Great Depression which was the last time that Saturn-Uranus and Pluto were in a big Cardinal Sign t-square configuration with each other.

And in 1937 when Berigan performed "I Can't Get Started" there was a Jupiter-Pluto opposition over his natal Uranus-Neptune.

Berrigan was a Scorpio Sun with Libra Rising.  I think it's interesting to notice that Mars, the Great Ignition of the Zodiac was in Retrograde for half of 1937 between Libra and Scorpio which means that Mars spent half that year pretty much standing over his Ascendant between his natal Mars in Libra (H12), his Ascendant-Mercury Retrograde conjunction and his 1st House Sun.  That's a lot of fire on the starting point of one's chart.

So, if you are currently spinning your wheels in a ditch somewhere because the Cardinal Sign stuff is just too overwhelming, it just means that it's time to do a little dance.

Berigan died in 1942 at age 33.  The Doctor told him that he would die if he didn't stop drinking and didn't stop playing trumpet.  He said he could do neither. One can see the stubbornness of a Fixed Sun and Moon here.  Age 33 is the year that one's Solar Return Chart puts one's planets pretty much back in the houses where they were when one was born. 

Oh yeah, and I can't talk about a musician without discussing Venus.  Venus in this chart is conjunct Lilith at the end of Virgo (H11).  It opposes Saturn in Aries (fall) and squares Pluto-NN at end of Gemini.  That can also sort of explain the tragic short life.

Shootings and Progressed Mars in United States Chart

That last Eclipse on June 4 was supposed to portend some pretty violent stuff.  And seems things are unfolding that way.

Partial Lunar Eclipse

The Sun-Moon Full Moon opposition is spanning the 6th-12th Houses and is squared by Mars 17 Virgo-IC 17 Virgo.  So it's squaring the IC/MC axis.  That's violent.  Keepin Homeland Security busy I guess.

This Eclipse is on the United States ASC/DESC Axis, or close to it by a few degrees if you use either the Sadge Rising or Gemini Rising.  I use the Sibley Chart which I forgot the exact time of.

This Lunar Eclipse features Moon in Gemini in the 6th House.  Moon rules the chart so things can get a little zany. 

The United States Sun at 14 Cancer is in conjunction with the Eclipse Ascendant.

There was a big shooting in Colorado by a guy whose chart looks like a Schizophrenic trapped in a Bipolar suit.  Or, he should have gone into film making and nobody would have thought anything was wrong with him.

Everyone's already written about that.

This morning a tall man shot at a meeting of Sikh's and killed many people.  Can't remember how many.  Homeland is calling this an act of terrorism because the guy has a tattoo of 9/11 on his arm or something.  Homeland Security's idea of what is and isn't terrorism is one of the great mysteries of my life at this point.  I haven't shit in a bunch of months because Mexicans, East Indians and Asian gangs have been pumping pesticides and cleaning chemicals into the vents of my car since last November and I'm having serious health problems.  And all the doctors say is that I need to go to the shrink. 

Don't have much time right now.  My entire computer is hacked and I'm on a library computer.  But just want to point out a Mars Progression right now.  Mars is the trigger happy one, isn't he?

Progressed Mars is at 19 Libra Rx in the United States chart.  It is almost exactly conjunct Progressed Moon at 18 Libra and progressed Lilith 16 Libra.  Lilith is there, of course, she's always there, but Moon-Mars conjunctions can be volatile.

This is set off by the Moon-Mars square of the June 4 Lunar Eclipse.

And, it's also being triggered by transiting Mars which is exactly conjunct p. Mars.  And these two are in trine to natal U.S. Mars at 22 Gemini.

So, that's lots of Mars and Moon stuff.

House 1 has a conjunction of Mars 19 Libra c. Saturn 25 Libra which squares Venus 29 Gemini.  Venus is chart ruler and is in the house of religion (H9).

The Colorado Shooting occured right after a New Moon.

This shooting occurs right after the following Full Moon.

The Uranus-Pluto square is very closely connected with the IC and DESC in today's chart.
