"She's Got It. Yeah, Baby, She's Got It"

We're at the peak of the 243 year Duplex Cycle of Venus. This is when the pretty lady passes in front of the Sun. It is called a "Duplex Cycle" because these cycles usually come in pairs set about 8 years apart. The 1st Passage happened on June 8, 2004. The 2d Passage comes on June 6, 2012. (Hope I got this info right).

Here's a link to the World's Best Article on Venus Cycles and Retrogrades in case you want to learn more: http://www.lunarplanner.com/HCpages/Venus.html. Well written by Nick Anthony Fiorenza; the graphics are totally awesome; the content is invaluable (a Venus word?). Nick must have been major great with the spirograph when he was a kid. You've gotta be good at drawing Pentagrams if you're going to tell people about the 8-year Venus Cycles. Those of us who kept slipping teeth on the little plastic wheels obviously had Venus squaring our Gemini Ascendants.

The 2012 Passage follows quickly on the heels of a Partial Lunar Eclipse two days before at 15 Sagittarius (June 4, 2012 11:03am (UT). Sun and Venus will be opposite at 15 and 17 Gemini. That's right on my Ascendant-Descendant along with a slightly out of orb transiting Grand Square involving Mars, Neptune and Chiron. (squares Mars 17 Virgo opposite Neptune 4 Pisces-Chiron 10 Pisces). I'd like to say that I'll be extra alluring that day but I'll be too old so maybe I'll just plan on being bitchy.

Here's a Quote from my favorite Venusian of all time.

"You've really got It. And you can have it."
