Huge Gas Line Explosion in San Bruno, California

Last night an underground gas line exploded in a residential neighborhood in San Bruno, Ca and decimated what currently looks like a 15 acre patch built in the 1960s. So far 4 people have been found dead, many more are injured and many more than that are unaccounted for. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_large_explosion.

Anyway, the entire infrastructure in this area is caput and nobody seems to be very concerned about it or aware. I guess that's because there are more lawyers here than anywhere else so it's easier to just let things fall apart and sue than to fix whatever's broken.

I send my condolences to the families who are suffering so much right now.

I've looked at the chart and at the Eclipses and am working pretty fast here so hopefully not too sloppy.

People at the blast said they noticed a gas smell in the neighborhood as far back as 6 weeks ago which seems to me to show that the Eclipses are involved. We are currently sandwiched between a Total Solar Eclipse that occurred on July 11 and a Total Lunar Eclipse which will occur on Dec. 21. This next year there will be 3 Total Lunar Eclipses (that's a lot) so we are entering a big study session on exactly what that means.

Libra is on the Ascendant of both eclipses which apparently shows that we must watch Venus' transits and aspects very closely right now. She's prominent in the explosion chart but only because she's conjunct Mars (ruler of explosions along with Uranus and Pluto). The two planets are both in the signs of their detriment right now. In the chart they are in the 8th House. Venus rules that house and also the 3d house of neighborhoods.

Devastating Neighborhood Explosion San Bruno, California
Sept. 9, 2010 6:30 pm San Bruno, CA

Sun 18 Virgo (H7); Moon 11 Libra (H7 c. H8 cusp); ASC 28 Aquarius; MC 11 Sagittarius; NN 9 Capricorn (H11)

Bingo, right on cue here hate to say. Neptune, ruler of Gas, is conjunct the Ascendant in this chart within a degree. He's just passed over the Horizon and is in his own house and is conjunct Chiron (wounds that aren't healed). These two are in the last degrees of Aquarius a sign which likes to shock with unpredictable events. Also in the first house are Lilith (she's always there) and Jupiter c. Uranus conjunct on the same degree of Pisces. So, this is an ending send off present from the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception which has been occurring over the past few years. Jupiter just makes whatever it touches expand so is probably in a way responsible for most explosions.

Neptune's influence is further prominent because his sign, Pisces is intercepted in the first house. This shows a big build up of Neptune's energies in the house which produces sparks (ruled by Mars).

Neptune's influence is even further prominent because because he is a singleton in Cadent house (but only by a degree).

Neptune is trining (aspect of ease) a conjunction of Mars 27 Libra and Venus 2 Scorpio in the 8th House. Venus rules Mars and the 8th House cusp (crises, death) and the 3d House cusp (neighborhood), so there's her influence. Since the explosion happened right at dinner time I sort of wonder if cooking grease had something to do with the problem. And remember the sewer and plumbing pipes are sporadically broken underground in odd spots in this area as well.

Neptune also is sesqui-square to the Moon and Saturn in Libra in the 7th house. This makes them angular along with the Sun which is also in the 7th house (Venus' house, women).

On a happy note (sort of), the news story listed above tells about a woman who was saved because she was at the Movies. Movies are ruled by Neptune. Maybe it's a good thing to escape to the movies during times when Neptune is due to pass over the Ascendant, is singleton and Pisces is intercepted in the first house. You will be doing what Neptune wants to naturally do.

The Sun (Fire) is unaspected to the other planets but he's squaring the Jupiter Midheaven. This shows a big fire. Both Jupiter and Sun like to do things in a big way, high drama.

It's interesting that the chart lacks Fire, no planets in that element. Often this will show a need to overcompensate in that missing element in some way. It sure does here.

Of course, as a back drop to all of this, the current transiting big outer planet t-square shows massive problems with infrastructure right now. These planets are wiggling back and forth by transit over the cusps of the Aries Points which is a stressor. In this case they are loaded on to the angles of the chart which makes their influence stress stronger. (They are on the angles about every 5 or 6 hours all the time right now, though. It sure would be interesting to get hold of a bunch of statistics to see if more catastrophes of this sort occur during these times.)

The July Total Solar Eclipse set for San Bruno
July 11, 2010 12:40 San Bruno, CA

Sun 20 Cancer; Moon 20 Cancer; ASC 10 Libra; MC 12 Cancer; NN 12 Capricorn

Cardinal Signy, huh.

The explosion chart Sun 18 Virgo is conjunct the Mars 20 Virgo of the Eclipse Chart. This is in Neptune's 12th house (Gas) of the Eclipse Chart. Mars and Sun are both Fire rulers. Mars = sparks. Sun=roaring blazes. As this is a Solar Eclipse I suppose we want to pay extra attention to the Sun's placement in the comparison charts.

The explosion chart Moon 11 Libra is conjunct the Ascendant of the Eclipse chart 10 Libra. It is also conjunct the Ascendant of the upcoming Lunar Eclipse chart as well as they both have Libra Ascendant within a few degrees of each other. The Moon rules Housing, Mothers, and apparently, Mothers at movies.

The Nodal Axis/Pluto conjunction is conjunct the IC/MC axis of the July eclipse chart when set for San Bruno. Loss of home and neighborhood. The Nodal Axis on an angle will often show an event will occur.

Total Lunar Eclipse set for San Bruno,CA
Dec. 21, 2010 1:13 am San Bruno, CA

Sun 30 Sagittarius (H3); Moon 30 Gemini (H9); ASC 13 Libra; NN 3 Capricorn (H3); MC 15 Cancer

This Eclipse has a stellium of Mercury-Sun-NN-Mars-Pluto in the 3d house in Sagittarius/Capricorn. This opposes Moon (H9) and squares Jupiter-Uranus (H6) Pretty explosive situation in the neighborhood.

No intercepted signs in either of these Eclipses.

Interesting to notice that the Moon is traveling fast (faster than 13 degrees 30 min) in all three charts: both Eclipses and the Explosion Chart.
