The Things We Do For Love and Laughs

There are the things we do for Love, and then there are the things we do to take a really stupid photo. When the two are done at the same time, sometimes the Fire Brigade has to be called in order to get us out. This is what happened last Friday when an American Foreign Exchange Student decided to pose for a "snap" inside a sculpture on his University's campus in Tubingen, Germany. Well, the student got stuck inside the sculpture and it took 22 firemen to get him out. What's so funny about that? The sculpture was of a huge Vagina.  Its called Chacun-Pi (Making Love) by Peruvian artist Fernando de la Jara. Photos (on TheGuardian website and Huffington Post) have the students face pixilated out due to extreme embarrassment.

Okay, so first of all. Where the Hell was Pluto? Pluto rules the genitalia. Pluto was at the bottom of the chart in Capricorn. I know that Capricorn doesn't let you get away with anything, but this is ridiculous. I'm not sure of the exact time of the incident but the Guardian says it happened in the afternoon. At 2:00 pm 6 Libra was rising. Libra is the sign of Love, of course, and Libra would have been ruling for most of the afternoon after that time. Class lets out and guys just gotta get wild. Mars is in Libra at this point in the 1st house and is opposing Moon and Uranus in Aries in the 7th House. This is the relationship pole, so to speak.

Neptune, the planet of photography, was in it own sign, maybe in the 5th House of play, fun and taking risks. Neptune was unaspected to other planets at 2:00 pm. That means it wasn't playing well with the others that afternoon. Neptune also rules lubricants. Don't know if any of those were necessary to free the poor guy from his plight.

Happy Jupiter Return Glenn Greenwald!

Jupiter rules publishing, journalism, and law. And what bigger name on the world stage right now in those areas than Glenn Greenwald.  Greenwald and Laura Poitras who must have some Scorpio going on in her chart because I can't find her birthdate anywhere, have been involved in revealing the NSA surveillance scandal based on findings of Edward Snowden.

Glenn Greenwald
B. Mar. 6, 1967 New York, NY

Sun 16 Pisces, Moon Capricorn or Aquarius, NN 9 Taurus

Greenwald is currently going through his 4th Jupiter Return.  His natal Jupiter is at 25 Cancer and is involved in a Grand trine with Neptune 25 Scorpio trine Saturn 1 Aries.  Saturn is on the Aries Point which means that he is meant to have a public career.  The Jupiter-Neptune trine (plus natal Pisces Sun) involved shows humanitarian ideals hook into his interests in journalism and law.  Cancer is the sign which shows The Public and Greenwald is exposing abuses of the public's trust.  You're supposed to get a boost in luck during a Jupiter Return. Adding the grand trine triples the chances of luck.  (Not all of us have a lucky Jupiter ).

Right now Greenwald's natal Venus 14 Aries is also very active.  Natally his Venus is unaspected so doesn't interact with the other planets in his chart.  It must go its own way. Normally Venus doesn't like going her own way but Greenwalds is in fiery Aries. Aries likes to do its own thing and Venus can be confused in this sign.

Natal  Venus was hit by the Eclipses last April and the big grand square of Mars-Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto.  That's a heavy load and Greenwald must feel he's in completely uncharted territory.

There's even more as Greenwald's progressed Mercury is in conjunction with natal Venus at 14 Aries as well.  He has also partnered with a woman, documentary filmmakerLaura Poitras, in his work which is one possible manifestation.  Venus rules women.

Saturn-Neptune Square 11/26/15-9/10/16

Richard Nolle has provided a list of all major outer planets aspects through history.  The Saturn-Neptune square that's coming up in 2015 is listed here:

lhttp://www.astropro.com/features/tables/geo/sa-ne/sa-sqr-ne/sasqrne.html

Looked at the list to see the last time that Saturn in Sagittarius squared Neptune in Pisces.  This occurred about 320 years ago in 1693.  There were 3 passes of exact square from 1/1/1693 to 10/23/1693.  I looked up events relating to this year to see any themes of Saturn working in Sagittarius and Neptune working in Pisces.  The year seems a bit eventless but apparently this was the beginning of the Crimean War.  As befits Sagittarius independent publishing and women's rights are represented as the first women's magazine was published this year. I didn't write down the title. Of importance also in a Sagittarius theme, John Locke published a major work on education of children. I didn't write down the title. But he recommended that children be raised rationally rather than scaring them with ghost stories.  Sounds like Neptune working to free the children from fears.  Also this year, which I think is very representative of both Sagittarius and Pisces, champagne was invented. Drinking is part of the repertoire, might as well make some good stuff.  Of concern, also, there was a revolution based on food shortages.  Of big importance also was that mount Esuvius erupted.  Sicily had a major earthquake. This occurred in January right after the first exact square aspect.

Neptune was again in Pisces in the mid 80s but didn't square Saturn in Sagittarius. There was a square to Saturn in Gemini which was very exciting. Nortthern california had a bunch of earthquakes (http://www.sfmuseum.org/alm/quakes1.html). Japan had a major earthquake as well. Literature received some major advances as major works of literature were published in the U.S. Both walden and Leaves of grass were published.  Abraham Lincoln gave his first political speech.  The daily telegraph newspaper began publishing.  Interesting that a clock and watch company started during this transit. Saturn was maybe also receiving a big transit from Pluto.  On the Neptune side, a cholera epidemic killed 10,000 in London. The contamination was traced to a single
water pump.  Neptune rules hospitals so it's interesting that Mount Sinai hospital in New York opened during this transit.  The United States were expanding rapidly, for the white people at any rate. Probably Few states joined the union during this time.
