No astrology here. I'm just wondering a couple of things and am going to post them on the Internet.

Two things I'm wondering.

First of all, I'm wondering about all those defective Toyotas out there on the market right now. The accidents seem to occur mainly in the United States. Does this mean that all the cars that are accelerating out of control on the Freeways were Toyotas that were made in the U.S. by idiot Americans? I heard that the Japanese aren't really upset by all the recalls because they aren't dying in car crashes in their country.

Let me guess. Those defective cars were made by employees who were hired from all the lay-offs from GM and Chrysler. They made American cars for Toyota.

Blame it on a childhood made of Wonderbread.

Second thing I'm wondering about is the Health Care Reform Bill. Has anyone thought of trying to work on it in phases instead of dumping the whole 2,000+ page bill on the drunk Congresspersons' desks? I mean, who can read that and vote yes or no?

Why don't they organize the presentation? Split it up into comprehensive PowerPoint presentations? Walk the Congresspersons' through a couple of Cancer Clinics. Baby Steps. Show them how to file a years' worth of Chemotherapy bills with the Insurance Companies? They'll get a clue at this point, for sure if you really make them sit on the phone with the Insurance Companies. Try taking care of an Alzheimer's patient for a week-end without help. One baby step at a time rather than flushing the whole damn thing down the drain all at once?

Okay, okay. So, this is the U.S. We have to talk about the money thing first. And with nothing but Pluto in Virgos to do the talking nobody but nobody is going to be able to listen to that crap without falling head over heals into a big snore. I mean, anything that's 2,000 pages -- I personally am going to wait for the movie version before I read it. Oh yeah, the movie version was already made by Michael Moore.

What Sign is Butter?

As usual Rex Bills is out in the passenger seat of the car and I'm sitting in a cafe reading parts of The New York Times that someone else was kindly enough to pay a god awful amount of money for. So Rex isn't available for consult on Keyword Rulerships. I'll probably have to fix this later.

The Dining section of the paper, the one I grabbed for first, of course, has COOKIES on the front page with the title "Butter Holds the Secret to Cookies That Sing" by Julia Moskin. The Experts are outing cookies over the Holiday. The Article's description of the way Butter behaves is below.

I wonder what sign Butter would be ruled by. Cancer rules Cooking although Virgo ought to. I think that Fat would have a joint rulership of Cancer with Jupiter. Add Venus/Jupiter for Sugar. Add Mars for the Baking part. Gawd, I'm Sun in Cancer trine Jupiter with Mars in the 4th House and I LOVE COOKIES!!!!! Cookies, Chocolate and Beer. Really, who needs anything else? (Actually, my blood sugar has forced me to tone down in recent years).

The Presidential Candidates Get New Rising Signs

According to the new information about the Presidential Candidates that was presented at UAC I decided to look at the basics of the 3 current running mates. I also looked at progressions. Obama has an interesting thing going on in his chart in this regard. He's born with a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction over the Capricorn-Aquarius cusp. Both have been retrograde since birth but both will be turning direct within the next 6 years. In this new chart the conjunction is in the 12th House. I would suppose this will be a big psychic release for him.

The new times give John McCain a Scorpio Rising rather than Libra Rising. And Barack Obama gets an Aquarius Rising rather than a Scorpio Rising. Most people are now giving Hillary Clinton the Scorpio Rising rather than the Gemini Rising that she had the whole time that her Husband was President. I still use the Gemini Rising Chart. Her nose just isn't Double Scorpio material.

These chart times change so much this is a pointless waste of time. I think somebody doesn't want Astrologers messin with their heads so they're messing with ours.

I was curious about financial houses for the Candidates. Money sure does talk. Obama's gots oodles of bright shiny stuff, John McCain almost tanked early on but made a spectacular come-back. Clinton is in trouble. Both Obama and McCain have Signs representing Resources on their cusps. Clinton has Virgo-Pisces, this is where she's martyring herself. She's also apparently the only one who doesn't seek spiritual advice from a Minister who is a total sick piece of *&$#.
