Alberto Casillas Murder

Saw this article asking for help in solving a 5 year old murder in San Francisco. I'm just a crazy Astrology buff and have no forensics experiences but thought I'd try to take a look at the chart.

Alberto Casillas was confronted by two men in a nightclub in the South of Market district in San Francisco, CA on Jan. 7, 2007. He drove off with some friends in his car but was shot by the men. He later died in the Hospital. The articles give almost no other information beyond this so it's really difficult to understand what actually went on. For example, there is no information about who the other passengers were in the car.

There are two police drawings of the shooters in the article. In other articles I've read Casillas' Mother is keeping the case open by passing out fliers on the street to see if anyone will come forward.

I didn't find a rulership for snitches and that's what we need. I suspect that we'd want to see some Mercury/Gemini influence in that regard just because that sign is associated with loose lips. Just read this blog if you want to understand the stupids associated with Mercury/Gemini influence. I also suspect that the Saturn-Pluto trine that was occuring on the day that Casillas was shot could possibly bring forward another type of snitch. Saturn-Pluto trines can be very concerned with doing the right thing and they may have the balls to come forward and speak out. Unfortunately, the angles of the event chart are ruled by Neptune and Pluto and these two are involved in secrecy and cover ups and crimes.

This event chart has many classic signatures for homicide.

Neptune c. IC.
Mars conjunct Pluto trining Moon in Virgo-Saturn in Leo (H10).

Amazing how often Scorpio is rising when brutal murders take place. As one can see from the rulerships listed above, pluto rules this type of crime to the tee. Neptune at the bottom of the chart adds to this as it signifies a "Fog of War" type of situation. Neptune rules alcohol and drugs and since this event happened at a night club I assume those were strong factors in why the event occurred.

First thing I noticed was the Mars-Pluto conjunction in the 2d house trining the Moon in Virgo. This can show volatile emotions. It seems that whatever set the shooters off occurred earlier in the evening. Mars is impulse, Moon is reactivity, Pluto is revenge. The trine connection between the 2d House and the 10th House indicates some sort of control thing. The 2d House represents money so perhaps there was money owed or theft involved.

This is a sling shaped chart with a Moon-Saturn conjunction acting as handle up in the 10th House. This places a lot of emphasis on those two planets which are rulers of parents, homelife, social status. When I first read a blurb about the murder I was wondering if this were a family related crime in some way. Then I read that Casillas' mother is not giving up on finding her sons murderers, this could mean that her grief and determination to find her son's killers will eventually work out. The Virgo Moon is opposing Ceres in the 4th House. This ties the Ceres/Demeter myth into the chart very strongly. Demeter was Goddess of the Harvest. She fought with Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, who had abducted her daughter Persephone. Eventually Persephone was allowed to come back above ground for 6 months of the year, Pluto kept her downstairs the other 6 months.

Looking at this chart, I would suspect that the Mother would find more information from sifting through data and from looking for clues through physical evidence than by looking for witnesses who will come forward. The people involved here look unreliable and unable to help. There are no planets in the 1st or 7th Houses. Pluto ruling and Neptune in conjunction with the IC shows that the situation is difficult to understand. There is much grief and sense of loss in this chart as Saturn is both trining Pluto and opposing Neptune.

Mars will have a long retrograde transit back over the Moon of this chart so perhaps there will be some extra impetus to solve the crime. Virgo is a sensible sign which doesn't really stick its neck out to perform noble deeds so perhaps other means of solving the crime will help. Virgo represents Data Analysis, so there might be some way to track the killers by sifting through Data. The Moon in conjunction with Saturn in Leo out of sign up in the 10th House and trining Mars-Pluto shows that the scientific evidence is probably there. Or at least it would have been at the time. Saturn is Retrograde which could indicate a long delay. The Moon here is Void of Course which also indicates some problems in solving.

There are 3 planets in the 2d house in Sagittarius. These are Jupiter, Mars and Pluto. That's a lot of "party" energy. Sagittarius is an optimistic sign and this does indicate to me that someone was feeling too lucky and overworked a situation.

Uranus in Pisces in House 4 in conjunction with the NN in Pisces. It seems that Neptune/Pisces issues may have been the reason behind the shootings. That doesn't give much interesting information as Neptune/Pisces rules drugs, escapism, jails, death and crime. Perhaps the criminals were drug dealers. This could be gang related.

The Sun was conjunct Mercury on the same degree at 16 Capricorn in the 3d House. This describes the shooting in the car. I'm not up on my Cazimi Mercury interpretations so don't know what that means. In the 3d House it could indicate that the witnesses do know the killers. I do know that it indicates something having to with cars and drivers.

Venus is also in the 3d House conjunct Chiron. She is otherwise unaspected so she stands out. This shows the presence of a female who perhaps has problems. This could be a sister or a cousin or someone going through a Divorce or drug problems. I don't know who the other passengers in the car were. Perhaps Casillas was trying to protect a woman and was shot. Venus rules the 12th House which is said to show the cause of the crime.

I send my condolences to those who have grieved over this death and hope that someone will come forward with some information that will lead to Justice in this crime. Venus also rules Justice through the sign of Libra.

Inauguration Chart - January 20, 2009

Of course, as an ex Salmonella survivor I've been following the latest peanut butter crisis like a hawk. Turns out to be a really nasty joke that on the Eve of the inauguration of the First African American President in U.S. History Kellogg's has put out a Recall for all of its "Crackers." Okay, bad joke, but at least it's coming from a white person.

We get a new President tomorrow. Yayyyyy! It's certainly looking like Barack Obama will be an incredible gift to the American people. Sun 1 Aquarius (H10); ASC 15 Taurus; Moon 30 Scorpio (H7); MC 27 Capricorn; NN 10 Aquarius

Tomorrow's chart has 15 Taurus Rising. This sets a tone of practicality and fiscal responsibility. Material welfare and strength is of great concern. A set of values is being determined. This is a very Fixed Chart. Sun, Moon and Ascendant are in Fixed Signs and are Angular. Obama is a Fixed Person: Leo Sun with Aquarius Rising.

Ruler of the chart, Venus, is conjunct Uranus and is in the 11th house of community and group efforts, also hopes, wishes and dreams. The entrepreneurial spirit that the U.S. is known for could find a spark now. This conjunction is opposite Saturn Rx in the 5th House so it is placed in Fixed Houses of Resources (and off the angles which is great, imo).

The inauguration chart is hooked right in to the Saturn-Uranus opposition through a fortunate way. It is the central Axis of a Kite configuration which hopefully is an excellent aspect for success in houses involved: ASC (personality), 5th House (creativity, risk), 9th House (higher education, legal, religion) (Grand Earth Trine Taurus ASC to Saturn in Virgo to Mars in Capricorn) and to 11th House. As a Leo Sun with Aquarius Rising who is a Lawyer, I'd say this Kite reflects Barack Obama pretty well. (Wouldn't have been able to see this before the election of course).

The Grand Trine of Earth, Ascendant, Mars, Saturn will put the U.S. back to work. Venus-Uranus will open up the closed off energy of the Grand Trine and spark the entrepreneurial spirit.

The Sun in this chart is at 1 Aquarius conjunct Mercury to the degree and conjunct the MC and Jupiter at 4 Aquarius. The 10th House represents the President. I remember thinking that this must mean that an old white guy would win. oops. This shows a positive leader with excellent speaking abilities and a prudent stance and an open mindedness. There are some problems with the flow of these energies with the rest of the chart, though. Mercury is retrograde showing some unfinished business. Communication may not go well. Ideas may not be well thought out. Obama's plans for infrastructure will be dependent on a Mercury flapping both of his little ankle wings and that might not manifest as planned.

Mercury here is cazimi the Sun. They say that its energy is swallowed by the Sun so it may not have a strong expression. Jupiter's only aspect is the conjunction to the Sun and Mercury. There could be a latent show of arrogance.

This combination may be great for international affairs. There is understanding of the law and of how things ought to be, manifesting them may not go very smoothly at first. It would be interesting to watch Retrograde transits and progressions to see what happens when Mercury comes out of and goes into Rx at those times. (Noel Tyl gave an interesting description of Tertiary Progressions in event charts on his forum and I'm dying to check it out.)

The Moon in this chart is at 30 Scorpio in the 7th House so it is angular. On a literal level that shows the influence of powerful women and a powerful public. It is out of bounds and void of course. I don't have a clue what void of course means but these are 3 strong indicators that the feelings of the public and of Obama's partners are very strong. In the 7th House it may mean that we are welcoming his leadership. It would be so cool if they could have waited until it was in Sagittarius just to keep things on a light scale emotionally perhaps. A Scorpio public overall may deal with the difficult times in a very stoic way which can do without, but crime may become a problem for those who can't handle tough times. Obama has a Moon-Pluto square in his chart so I guess this is more appropriate to his style. And Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are both Scorpios so this could mean nothing more than a literal description of their contributions to Obama's plan. This shows reserve powers but also maybe bottling up of emotions.

The Moon represents the Public. Obama, as a Gemini Moon, understands the emotional healing powers of keeping people busy. But, resentments shouldn't be allowed to escalate and feelings should be checked at regular intervals. This goes very deep as it means that the Moon disposits to Pluto. And Pluto is in the 8th House at 2 Capricorn which is an Aries Point. Pluto's deepest darkest desires (and God knows these are unfathomable) will find public expression. Pluto is unaspected in this house which shows a lot of bottling up within the chart. The true pure need of Pluto is to get to the core. If secrecy and power trips fall by the wayside and crises don't keep crashing down this can be a wonderful thing.

Through this nasty Pluto the chart clearly states that this President is taking over during times of great economic crises (it's always clear in hindsight). I just heard on the news with regards to the economic crisis that Obama wants to shift from Bank Bail outs which is a 2d House, Venus thing to opening up Credit lines which is 8th House, Pluto methods, as a way of dealing with the financial crisis. All secrets that people are feeling right must be acknowledged. But, Pluto doesn't really like to talk about much and with that Mercury out of communication mode there could be some misunderstandings and snags. Hopefully it means that this President will have the ability to understand how to deal with this type of situation. He has Gemini Moon square Pluto so this chart in a way does reflect the same energy.

Fuel Spill in San Francisco Bay

On Wednesday a Fuel Barge passing through the San Francisco Bay hit one of the supports of the Bay Bridge and starting leaking fuel into the Bay. Much of the Wildlife in the area has been saturated with the stuff and a major recovery effort is going on to try to save as much as possible. Most of the beaches along the Bay are closed down. The Pilot of the ship is around 60 years old so he's just past his 2d Saturn Return. He received a citation just last year and one in 1997 and although he's been piloting ships for a long time it looks as if maybe his age is somehow affecting his job performance. I looked at the chart and couldn't find anything that really stands out until I compared rulerships from Rex Bills. Here are some notes.

Leaks are ruled by Neptune. Oil and Gas are also ruled by Neptune. The North Node is in Pisces in the 3d House and was squaring the Ascendant. The South Node is in Virgo in the 9th house of Shipping. The Fourth House of Environment is empty but is ruled by Neptune. The Sun is conjunct the 12th house cusp and is squaring Neptune.

Ships; Shipping are ruled by: Moon, Neptune, Pisces, 9, Sagittarius, Jupiter

Sagittarius is Rising in this chart and ruler, Jupiter, is in the 1st House conjunct Pluto (crisis). The 9th House is ruled by the Sun (which is in H12 of Leaks) which disposes to Pluto which is conjunct Jupiter, ruler of the Chart and of Ships. They are in the 1st House about to rise over the chart.

Bridges are ruled by H3, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune.

Neptune is in the 3d House along with the North Node, Chiron and Uranus. Once again the Neptune-Uranus mutual reception strikes. Saturn is widely opposing Uranus from H9 of Ships.

The Grand Trine between Sun, Mars and Uranus. These planets in hard aspect are connected with Accidents. (Mars, Urnaus (H1, Aries, H3). Here they are in Water Signs and Water Houses and the Accident happened on the Water.

Jupiter rules the Chart here and is in the 1st House conjunct Pluto.

Hell at the ATM

Yesterday I went to the bank to withdraw some money from the ATM and left my card in the machine. That's happened enough times before. Usually the machine sucks it back in; sometimes the guy behind me grabs it and screams "Hey Lady, your card!". But, this time, someone took advantage of the fact that I hadn't finished my transaction and took an extra $200.00 out of my account. Then, he let the card suck back into the machine. Thanks. The Bank was full of people, this wasn't even an outdoor machine, can't believe how ballsy the guy was.

I drew up an Event Chart for the theft. The lady at the 800 Help Line knew the exact time. Mars right on my Descendant and conjunct my Natal Moon! Oi, I hooked right in. Well, guess I was asking for it, I basically forgot my Money. (Makes me also wonder if I am represented by the 7th house rather than the 1st house as I assume.)

The Chart shows Cancer Ascendant, I think that rules me. Lunatic Lady, after all. The Moon, ruler of the Ascendant, is in Libra down in the 4th house apex to a t-square to the ASC-DESC-Mars. I assume that Mars describes the thief. Mars equals Men, maybe a boy.

Capricorn is on the Descendant. Its ruler, Saturn, is in the 2d House of Banks and Money opposite Neptune in the 8th House of other people's money. The Sun is conjunct Neptune, ruler of thieves, so is heavily involved in this Resource houses opposition. The Sun also rules the 2d house.

The Ascendant is apex of a Yod inconjunct Sun-Neptune on one leg and Jupiter-6th House cusp on the other leg. This 6th house connection, plus the fact that Saturn is in the 2d house of Banks and rules the 7th house cusp makes me wonder if a male employee isn't involved. Probably just somebody's kid with a sharp eye and a greedy fist who likes to take advantage of spacey women.

The bank will make me sign and send in a form and then all is well, hopefully. I guess they've got 10 million cameras aimed at the culprit, so maybe I'll get a mugshot (Neptune rules Photos and Film).
