New York's First Divorcee, Eunice Hawley Chapman

New York State's first divorce occurred in 1818. It was awarded to a Sagittarius woman with a Gemini North Node, wouldn't you know? The woman's name was Eunice Hawley Chapman and her story is written about in a book called The Great Divorce by Ilyon Woo. Many markers for divorce in this chart. A Sagittarius Sun is freedom loving. Having the Nodes on the Gemini/Sagittarius pole will indicate a flexibility which will thrive on multiples of anything in the life.

Uranus, a major ruler of Divorce (rebellion, breaking status quo, equality), is prominently placed in Eunice's chart conjunct the Gemini North and also handle of a Sling Chart. Lilith, female agent of equality in relationships and bad marriages because of that need, is conjunct the South Node. And squaring these two is a wide square of Jupiter 23 Virgo to Neptune 2 Libra.

Libra and Venus's presence is always interesting to look at within divorce because they rule Marriage and the female side of relationships. With Mars (husband) conjunct Neptune in Libra it is interesting that Eunice divorced her husband because he drank too much and had withdrawn into the religious community of the Shakers which didn't believe in sexuality. This combination is more comfortable with the romantic notions of love and high idealism rather than the actual desire to make relationships work.

Venus in Eunice's chart is very strongly featured. It is placed at 15 Capricorn showing that this woman would not be bullied by Authority of any kind. She was a take charge type of lady. Venus is very prominent, both out of bounds (26 degrees, 04 minutes) and unaspected to other major planets, maybe conjunct the Moon in which both are unaspected. Can't comment on the Moon since I don't have a birth time. This could perhaps shows a very strong take charge type of woman, but perhaps a bit intimidating to be a relationship with.

Eunice's Progressed Venus had been Retrograding since around 1803-4. This could indicate the initiation of a long phase of low self esteem which could have led her into an abusive marriage. I can't find the year of her marriage.

The Placement of Saturn in Eunice's chart reiterates her very strong approach to her marriage, perhaps inherited from her Father. Saturn is placed at 20 Scorpio which shows strong leadership and executive skills. It is singleton in both Fixed Signs and Water Signs. Because of her strong Jupiter and Saturn influence she probably had more faith in going to the Legislature and Legal System for help in bringing about this huge change in the Law. In the transits there are major outer planet configurations during this month. There was a conjunction of Uranus 20 Sagittarius to Neptune 26 Sagittarius. This explains the need for Freedom and Rights not to the Husband's withdrawal into weird religious beliefs and booze (two go together like bread and butter, heheh). Eunice was born 2 years into the American Revolution so the word was flinging all around her. Uranus-Neptune was squaring an end of sign conjunction of Saturn, Chiron and Pluto (17, 25, 27 degrees respectively)in Pisces. Wow, how close is that to the Pisces-Aries cusp, major angle of the horoscope? Talk about letting things fall apart in order to give birth to a new age... Either way, pretty powerful transit, a little like current times.

The actual divorce took 3 years. The date in May alludes to the event where the entire town accompanied Eunice out to the Shaker village where Eunice's husband was keeping their children. This led to some of the first womens' rights laws after marriage.

Stage Dads - Mr. Jackson, Mr. Mozart, Mr. Beethoven

Since Michael Jackson's death, his Father, Joe, has increasingly become the butt of reporter's jokes so I'm starting to become curiouser and curioser to look at his chart. Years ago Jackson publicly denounced his Father and admitted that he had been beaten and abused as a child. Joe was written out of Michael Jackson's will and it turns out he has been separated from Jackson's Mom for a long time. He is granted interviews just so that people can confirm before their very eyes that he was as abusive as Michael said he was. Well, he's got natal Mercury in Leo which has just gone Retrograde by Progression so that's not going to be hard to do. It's to the point where I'm feeling a little sorry for the guy. His son never would have made it to icon status without his Father pushing him the way he did. (Yes, I'm aware that it's probably not worth it, but then again I'm not a big follower of pop musicians).

As "Classical Music Major" I'm aware of Stage Moms and Dads. At one of my recitals an old dinosaur walked in wearing ruffles and really bright red lipstick and her eyes were way too sparkly and my Virgo Older Brother shuddered under his breath "Now that's definitely someone's Mom." I used to play harp and when you play harp you get to see the best of the visionary parents in full regalia.

I know through music history class that Beethoven's Father was highly abusive and pulled his son out of bed in the middle of the night to practice. And Mozart's Father pushed his son way beyond what the current labor laws would allow and Mozart grew up to be a little squirley because of it. So I went overboard with this project and began to look at all three, or all six charts. (I hope that I've got all the information straight but can't promise anything as I can't work the store feature right now on my Astrology program.)

All three of these Dads produced child prodigies and all three would perhaps be considered child abusers for having done that in modern times at any rate. I suppose the big story regarding Stage Moms and daughters comes from the life of stripper Gypsy Rose Lee. That's good for another study.

Just happened to find an interesting coincidence in that both Beethoven and Mozart's Fathers shared the same birth date, November 14. That sort of explains a little right there. Scorpio works with other people's resources. It is also an extremely ambitious sign and very focused and also capable of extreme behaviors. Scorpio is also a selfish sign and can also suffer from resenting the success of those it nurtures and of wanting to undermine their success through underhanded jealousies.

First, Michael's Dad. What's going on with him? Joe Jackson is not a Scorpio, he's a Leo, but Pluto is conjunct his natal Mercury and the two are unaspected to other planets so they create a strong presence in the chart. I could see how this could lead to very cutting verbal abuse.

As a Leo Joe would have the natural instinct to show off and be flamboyant and unencumbered by self consciousness. He may not have understood that he wasn't the one who was up on stage when his sons were practicing and performing.

With Mars in Virgo he would have a highly critical and perfectionist personality. Mars is one of the indicators in a person's chart showing his children, especially his Sons. Joe's Starchild Michael was born a Virgo.

Michael was born on August 29, 1958 with the Sun at 6 Virgo conjunct Pluto at 3 Virgo. Father Joe Jackson's progressed Sun and Neptune were both in conjunction with t. Pluto so these two were stuck in what Noel Tyl calls an "Ego Wipeout" bond forever. This is a good example of the great positive and negative extremes of how Sun-Neptune-Pluto type of synastry plays out between parent and child, that's for sure.

In addition to that, Joe Jackson was going through both a Mars Return (Son) and his first Saturn Return (Father).

And, another interesting detail to note that comes up with both Beethoven and Mozart's Father's charts and relationships is the combination of Mars with Chiron. Chiron is the great teacher/healer who could pass on all kinds of incredible information but couldn't use it to fix his own wounds. In combination with Mars, Chiron possibly shows a connection of some sort with one's Son. Joe Jackson has these very widely in conjunction with each other in Taurus (sign that rules the voice and arts, interesting that it also rules the Number 5 - Jackson 5 - through Venus' Sun conjunction cycle). Both Beethoven's father had a natal square and Mozart's Father had a natal conjunction, both aspects in connection with strong points in their sons' charts.

I discussed in a blog long ago the interesting coincidence of Father-Sun progressed Sun to natal Sun in the signs of men in the President Bush family a long time ago. It certainly seems that there is some kind of power connection when this happens in a family. As I said, Joe Jackson's p.Sun was within 4 degrees of conjunction with his Son's natal Sun. Ludwig Beethoven was born when his Father was 30 years old and in the next Sun Sign over so he has this relationship with his Father as well: Father Johann's p. Sun was at 27 Sagittarius, 2 degrees past his Son's natal Sun.

Both Mozart and Beethoven Senior had very long conjunctions of personal planets to their natal Saturns which may be of significance in understanding the karmic gifts which they passed on to their children. Due to the retrograde in the progressions, both men would have been experiencing this unchanging stressor on their Saturns. This could explain their own frustrated ambitions, along with their extreme behaviors as Fathers.

As a matter of fact, this p.Sun to n.Natal synastry will happen between the charts of any Father and Son when the Father's natal Sun is roughly 30 degrees before the Son's natal Sun. There is a double whammy effect because the child will born during the Father's Saturn Return which happens roughly at one's 29th year. It does seem to be a strong formula for insuring that success and ambition are passed down from generation to generation. That would require a lot more study to confirm. And it certainly doesn't look like a happy inheritance to be gifted. I'm discussing more connections with Saturn down below. These men have Saturn very strongly aspected in relation with their sons, that's for sure.

Both Fathers (Mozart's and Beethoven's) had progressed Venus in Scorpio when their sons were born. P. Venus conjunct natal Saturn in one chart and conjunct natal Pluto in the other chart. I suppose this shows great ambitions through the arts and no doubt an ability to "psychically channel" huge amounts of cosmic knowledge.

He was 30 years old when Beethoven was born. Going through Saturn Return when his Son was born. And his Progressed Sun was conjunct his Son's natal Sun (and widely his Moon). This point was opposing natal Mars and squaring natal Chiron.

Something interesting that I've noticed in Father B. and Mozarts' Dad's charts as well is an interesting conjunction to natal Saturn from progressed Planets. Father B's Mars is conjunct his natal Saturn in his natal chart in the sign of Leo. Both planets had gone Retrograde by Progression so that they were still in conjunction when Beethoven was born (and Rx, difficult). His progressed Venus, meanwhile, was conjunct to the degree with his Pluto. He was to have a very intense relationship with this child regarding ambitions, will and the arts.

Father Leopold Mozart has a similar thing going on. Natally he has a conjunction of Venus to Saturn-Mercury-Sun in Scorpio (same spot as p.Venus-Pluto in Beethoven's Dad's chart, remember what I said about Scorpio). Venus in Leopold's chart is Retrograde when he is born. And so his progressed Venus has come out of Rx by the time his son is born and has returned to close to the same spot where it was when he was born.

These retrogrades make it look as if the Father's were reliving parts of themselves through their Sons. Both Saturn and Pluto/Scorpio are related to Karmic lessons and reliving problems. They are both very ambitious planets. In a sense, through their sons, these men were using twice the lifetime's worth of knowledge to get their sons to succeed in the world. (Sorry, that probably doesn't make sense).

Jon & Kate, Divorce at 8

I kept seeing Kate's face on the tabloids and didn't know who she was. Just kept wondering why a celebrity would have a haircut that makes her look like a bird. Finally I've caught on, Kate is one of the ladies recently who had sextuplets. Unlike Nadya Suleman who had octuplets this year and who has been the butt of all kinds of jokes and downright abuse, Kate is well respected. She has been respected because she is married. Now we'll have to see if the tables turn in that regard.

As part of the Season 5 kick off Kate's husband Jon was seen leaving a party with a good friend of the couple. Now, as a gift from the Cancer New Moon opposing Pluto party, the couple filed for Divorce on June 22, 2009.

It's pretty interesting that natally both Jon and Kate are Aries Suns who are born with natal Pluto oppositions to their Suns. Half the families in the country went through a Divorce while Pluto was in Libra. It's interesting to see the Fame element of Pluto playing itself out here. I discussed that in yesterday's post with regards to last week's passings of celebrities as it relates to the Sun-Pluto opposition).

Here we have a loss in the celebrity family world. Guess that makes sense since this New Moon was in Cancer, the sign of Hearth and Home.

The Divorce Show of the series apparently brought in record viewers for TLC. Sounds like a Roman Forum just waiting to happen. Hopefully, this show will bring up discussions about Divorce especially with regards to how the children react to the situation and what really goes on behind those closed door(s). And especially as to how things ought to be in the house. Fortunately, the Show has decided to stop filming until after the set of 3 Eclipses this Summer. That's some emotional wreckage that nobody really needs to see. The first year of Divorce is generally Hell in which Mommy and Daddy need to take time-outs every 2 seconds in order to get their heads screwed back on. It might actually be more damaging for the kids to lead such a public life and not be able to share the worst two months of their childhoods. They will always have to make "appearances" regarding their families from now on.

My first reaction was, Oh, this couple is sweet and diverting attention from poor Nadya Suleman who I last heard had to go to the Hospital for some kind of damage done by carrying all those babies and is being sued by Gloria Aldred for accidentally hiring some Nannies who were testing positive for Tuberculosis because she had to fire Adlred's Nurse Angels for spying on her. The whole time the Artificial Insemination Docs continue to make these messes and are running around buying stock in companies who make prams with 44 seats.

So, you know, yadda yadda yadda here. What are two Aries doing getting married in the first place? Aries Suns opposite Pluto in Libra too. I already said Pluto in Libra was the Divorce Generation.

There's a lot more to go into sometime. But, what really interests me is that Jon and Kate's children may all have Aquarius Moons, just like Nadya Suleman's kids. Isn't that weird? (Aquarius keyword) I don't have their birth times so I'm not sure of their Moon placements.

The Twins are now about 8 1/2 years old. A Divorce Event will perhaps hook them into a Venus Cycle, definitely a Lilith Cycle as this is the closest Return for them at this time. They are going through double whammy Neptune transits right now as well. The transiting NN is on natal Neptune and transiting Neptune-Jupiter-Chiron is conjunct natal Uranus-Maybe Moon. They probably won't have any memory of this event and will repeat an inability to not remember stressful events later on down the road in whatever way they prefer to express that. On the one hand, people love a person with a sweet disposition. On the other hand, if stressed by this event, they may act out later in life through compulsive problems with envy/jealousy and through relationship or sexual addiction. With Neptune involved there is fear of drug abuse. Of course, this also can show that as a result of the divorce they develop a very refined sense of aesthetics along with diplomatic skills which they can share with the world.

The Sextuplets are just past their first Nodal Square and Saturn square and are moving into their first Jupiter opposition. So, they may develop strong social and political expressions in the outside world and they will probably all take advantage of their College funds and get lots of higher degrees (hopefully). With natal Mars in Cancer they may suffer emotional fall-out later in life. Hopefully they are throwing their tantrums now and the behavior is dealt with through patience and love and caring. There was a picture of Kate hitting one of them in the tabloid at the check-out stand, so she's probably got her Aries thing going pretty high right now. Since Kate's Sun squares their natal Mars-Saturn conjunction she may express to them that they are a burden in a way that is very damaging to them.

A California woman, Nadya Suleman, has given birth to 14 children via in vitro fertilization. On Jan. 27, 2009 she gave birth to the first surviving set of Octuplets. This is the last set of kids that she can have due to her age so she loaded them all in all at once.

Well, they say that Aquarians like to do things in groups so maybe the astrology partly explains the babies' good health -- they simply enjoyed being born together in a crowd. With 4 planets in Aquarius, 3 in Capricorn and 2 in Pisces these kids will grow up to be highly intelligent, probably nuclear physicists who can grow up to build some really cool new age bombs as a way of dealing with their frustration.

Mom says that she never recovered from her lonely childhood as an only child. So, she's decided to have an even lonelier adulthood as a single Mother. Right on. People are commenting on the money she won from a law suit where she was beaten by a patient at a Mental Hospital where she worked. People are commenting on what looks like several plastic surgeries. The State Medical Board is investigating her Doctor who obviously has a bigger problem. Guess she was in a hurry to have all her remaining eggs implanted before the Age 34 cut off date when she would no longer be able ti have them implanted. She split up with her husband in 2000 and divorced him in 2007.

Well, this chart has the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception all over it. The Sun and Moon and South Node are all in Aquarius. The kids were born between two Aquarius Eclipses. Mom is indicated by Moon. The Moon in the kids' charts is conjunct Neptune.

Mercury is Retrograde which indicates to me being born into a situation for which there really are no words. Mercury is in Capricorn along with Mars and Pluto. Interesting that Capricorn is the sign which traditionally is thought to rule Fatherhood and these children are born without a Father. Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, is a Handle figure in the Bucket Shaped charts of the kids who were born by Ceasarian section within 5 minutes of each other. The Mother's reasons for wanting to have so many children are said to be rooted in her lonely childhood as a single child. Don't know how she justifies having 14 kids as a single Mother, nothing seems more lonely to me but maybe now the media tents and vans parked outside her home 24/7 are keeping her company.

Really, this isn't about the kids, it's about the Mom. Wikipedia now has provided a birth date for her. By interesting coincidence she's born about a month after Angelina Jolie. She's a Cancer Sun like me. Hate it when this happens. The little water bearers will have to hold their Watery mom up their whole lives.

Right off the bat the chart shows why Suleman is lonely. She has Sun conjunct Saturn in Cancer squaring Jupiter-Chiron 23-28 Aries. Naturally there is a sense of being alone and having to be more responsible than others. The Cancer-Saturn thing can show an ego desire to control. This woman might prefer to give birth without a Father around with whom she has to share anything. Sun square Jupiter might have a problem with overdoing things as Jupiter rules excess and Sun rules Confidence. A Cancer Sun combined with a Scorpio North Node share a possessiveness that might not be considered healthy.

Suleman's Venus is at 1 Virgo. Venus rules a woman's method of showing love. In Virgo it is not considered an easy placement. Venus in Virgo wants to love through hard work and analysis. Since she's given birth to an entire childcare center's worth of kids this woman is fulfilling her Venus. This Venus is squaring (challenging) the Nodal Axis, with North Node at 30 Scorpio, a destiny filled with deep dark yearnings and maybe a few misplaced motives.

Interesting that Suleman has a natal Saturn-Uranus square which is reflected in the current opposition between these planets. The natal chart actually has a t-square involving Jupiter at 23 Aries is involved in a t-square opposing Uranus 29 Libra and squaring Saturn 23 Cancer. With Saturn as apex planet there is again emphasis on Fatherly, parenting control issues. SAturn and Uranus are forever bound together in myth as the struggle with Fatherhood.

Can't place Suleman's Moon without a time of birth. The Noontime chart gives a Leo Moon. If later in the day it will be conjunct the Virgo Venus. With all this drama I assume she's got a Leo Moon but who knows?

Interesting that this chart has no out of bounds planets and no singleton, if Moon is in Leo and not in Virgo. People comment on how sane this woman seems. She doesn't seem out of balance but look at what she's actually done. She's probably going to be able to provide for her children through all the media attention and through the help of her mother so maybe she's not nuts.... Mercury in Suleman's chart is at 30 Gemini. This is on the Cancer Aries Point and Cancer is the sign of Motherhood and Families. Gemini likes to do things in multiples and has been receiving extra attention from the opposition of transiting Pluto (Planet that rules Fame on the point of the chart that rules Fame in Family matters).

Suleman's story shows up really well in her progressed planets. Progressed Sun is traveling through Leo, sign of creativity and children and fun. She's certainly putting a dramatic spotlight on those areas of life. Her history shows that 1999 was a year of major change for her. Her parents divorced and she was injured during a riot by the patients while working at a Mental Hospital on Sept. 18, 1999 Norwalk, CA. Her back was hurt and she hasn't worked since. At the time she was married and was separated from her husband in 2000. It is said that she has since suffered from Depression, all along having in vitro fertilization. Can't remember for sure but I think she had 3 miscarriages and then gave birth to her other children after this time. Can't imagine giving a woman with this much hormonal stuff anti-depressants but modern medicine is really going out on to some stupid limbs these days. Her doctors are being investigated and it will be interesting to see if they are held responsible for any of this. I know I've got a skewed impression, but, sorry, I was raised by a single mother....

Matching the Progressions up with Suleman's events is what's really interesting. For one, her progressed Mars (natally at 8 Taurus and apex of a Yod to a Neptune-Pluto sextile) is at 30 Taurus. This is conjunct her South Node. Mars rules Men in a woman's life. It also rules children and especially boys.

Her progressed Venus, feeling of being loveable, started moving Retrograde in 1999 which would indicate feelings of inadequacy in that area, something which is already described by the insecurities of the Venus in Virgo placement. This is when her parents divorced. And it is when she was involved in a mass riot in a mental hospital and is the year before she separated from her husband. This aspect alone is enough for reading all of her problems. Those damn Doctors need to take a quick class in secondary progressions...

Suleman's progressed Sun is currently at 21 Leo. This could be in conjunction with her natal Moon. It certainly explains the need to surround herself with a circus. And middle degrees Fixed Signs were hit by a big Eclipse-Grand Square aspect in August, 1999 (I believe, memory?). This would have hit her progressed Sun pretty squarely. And, of course, it is being hit by the current series of Aquarius/Leo eclipses.

Barack Obama's Moon

I've really been struck by a part of Barack Obama's story that nobody else probably cares about. He's part of the big Pluto in Virgo Divorce generation. In addition to this, Obama's parents died while he was young. So he had his share of painful family experiences early on and managed to thrive in spite of them.

A while back I was reading about how he expressed regrets that he was writing his book about his Father while his Mother had Cancer and was dying. He felt that he should have concentrated on his relationship with her instead at that point. His Mother died a few months after the book was published. That seemed like such an awful set of opposite experiences to go through. But it really explains his Moon. Obama has a Gemini Moon. Gemini moves in multiple directions at once. He's certainly had to multi-task with family issues. The Moon, of course, is a major indicator of one's relationship with one's Mother. Obama's Moon is placed very strongly and quite stressfully in his chart. It is conjunct the IC so is angular. It is also apex of a t-square to a heavy opposition between Pluto at 7 Virgo (H7) and Chiron 6 Pisces (H1). These are all on the angles. Moon, Pluto and Chiron working together really like to test a person on an emotional level to make sure the person is plumbing the deepest emotional depths possible. They learn this through real life experiences. These bring about issues related to Death, Family, Emotions, Woundings that can't be healed. Also they bestow a great depth of caring and insight which can be harvested from these experiences to help others.

I was reminded about this because Obama just took a couple of days off from his campaign to see his Grandmother in Hawaii who is said to be very ill. What difficult timing. He is once again facing this horribly stressful split between deep emotional inner pain (Moon at bottom of chart) and great outer success. The empty leg of a t-square is said to fulfill in some way the stresses caused by the squares and opposition. In this case, Obama's t-square points straight to his 10th House. That's house of Career and, well, President (should the corrupt side of U.S. politics not prevail before next Tuesday's election on Nov. 4). By coincidence this is very close to the anniversary of Obama's Mother's death which was Nov. 7, 1995. She'll be hanging out over his shoulder, for sure.

Obama was 2 when his parents separated. I don't have a date for that. His parents didn't divorce for a while after that.

Obama's Father died of a car crash when Obama was 21 years old. He never really knew his Father, only spent a month with him when he was around 9 or 10, and apparently couldn't mourn the death. This led him to eventually write a book about his Father and his Father's side of his family. In 1982, transiting Uranus was passing over Obama's Midheaven. Uranus is very mental and distant and is often known for not being able to feel. It also marks an initiation of joining a bigger societal entity than one's own clan. Obama's Midheaven is squaring his Nodal Axis to the degree so any planet hitting that point is going to affect his sense of his own destiny very strongly. Uranus is also Obama's Chart Ruler so his projection out into the world may have changed quite a bit. Interesting that his book about his distant Father became his entrance into successful public life.

I don't have a date for the Father's death but during 1982 there was a conjunction of Saturn-Pluto in Libra. This would have been in Obama's 8th House of Death and squaring his natal 12th House conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn at the end of 1982. 8th, 12th and 4th Houses all rule the Death experience in some way.

The progressions at this time were very strong. Obama's progressed Moon would have been passing through his first house, maybe conjunct natal Chiron and hitting his t-square. His progressed Sun was at 3 Virgo also hitting the t-square by conjunction with natal Pluto and North Node. And exactly square natal Moon in the 4th House (Parents). Transiting Chiron also would have been very close to conjunction with natal Moon. One can definitely see how his "Roots" (not being funny here, that's a literal translation for Moon/4th House issues) would figure so importantly in his public life. Obama is about to go through a Secondary Progressed Moon return for this time of his life as his Progressed Moon is now passing into his first House.

When Obama's Mother passed away on Nov. 7, 1995, his angular Moon-Pluto-Chiron t-square was again strongly activated. Remember he's got this connected with the angles; it includes the IC/MC which rules the parents. When his Mother died, transiting Pluto was passing over Obama's Midheaven (t.Pluto 30 Scorpio, MC 28 Scorpio) and so squaring his Nodal Axis and also opposing natal Moon. His progressed Moon was at the opposite spot of where it was around the time of his Father's death at 28 Leo. It was in his 7th House and conjunct his North Node to the degree and widely conjunct Pluto at 7 Virgo.

Progressed Venus was at 12 Leo conjunct his 13 Leo Sun (it's so strange how Venus so often is involved and no one ever acknowledges that. When Obama's Father died, t.NN may have been conjunct natal Venus).

Transiting Uranus and Neptune were in conjunction at 24 and 27 Capricorn and conjunct his natal SAturn 26 Capricorn-Jupiter 1 Aquarius conjunction in the 12th House. The Transiting North Node was at 27 Libra up in the 8th House of Death. This squares the natal Jupiter-Saturn conjunction (and transiting Uranus-Neptune). It also is at or close to the same spot where the Saturn-Pluto conjunction were around the time that Obama's Father died in 1982.

As I said before, Obama's progressed Moon is now passing over his Ascendant, moving into the same spot where it was when his Father died and opposing the spot where it was when his Mother died. It is at 17 Aquarius in conjunction with Neptune-Chiron-NN and moving away from opposition with his Sun (13 Leo). This is close to being a Return Point for the Secondary Progressed Moon (Mother, Family, Public, Women) for when Obama was Age 21. It seems that he is closing a Chapter in his life and beginning another really big one. For what it's worth, his progressed Venus is at 28 Leo conjunct his North Node to the degree and also conjunct n. Uranus 26 Leo.
