Actresses Murdered By Government Spooks?

Here's more conspiracy theory stuff.  Well, some of it isn't theory, it's real.  Two actresses who died young and who may have been in part murdered by government creepiness.  Both actresses were Scorpios with Sun in major aspect to Uranus.  They got burned for having penetrating insights (Scorpio) and for rebelling against the norm (Uranus). The FBI did acknowledge that it publicized lies about Seberg in the press.

Mars and Teenagers in Trouble, Trayvon Martin and Sierra Lamar

Hindsight is so telling. With Mars squaring the last Total Lunar Eclipse on Dec. 10, 2011, that's Mars squaring the Sun and Moon and Nodes, most of the major factors of the sky for events, I suppose that now we can know that children will be susceptible to violence more than usual.

There will be another square between these planets, sort of a Grand Square with Chiron, in the June Lunar Eclipse which will also include the big Venus Rx cycle.

So right now, Eclipse wise, we're wenched between 2 Eclipses which represent emotional volatility. Also, Mars is spending a lot of time in Virgo not really moving anywhere, so he's not really flowing very much. And since he's the guy who acts first and thinks second, he's burbling away like a pit bill on a leash. And Mercury has been in Retrograde so nobody can think straight, but apparently can still shoot straight which is an extremely scary thought. And Venus will move Retrograde soon after Mars goes direct at the end of this month. So, get out your suspension rope, don't offend the gang stalkers because they're not very nice, and they make sense to all those mean brats born with the Pluto in Scorpio and Neptune-Uranus in Capricorn who were raised by parents who called themselves helicopters because they didn't really want kids, they wanted money, and the kids just happened to be part of the Plan to get the money and the success. It's a Material World, don't ya know.

Basically, there's a lot of frustrated inner planet energy. A cess pool if you will. Third World Country thinking (except for Nancy Grace and Mark Klaas, in this case)

Kids are mostly about inner planet energy.

Who? What's a kid? I live in California. We just have transplants who act like kids.

Teenagers are just past their first Saturn oppositions and most are launching out into a 4 or 5 year period in which they are not developing through any major planetary cycle phases or parts of phases.

The two big stories in the news have been of Trayvon Martin, a 15 year old Black teenager who was shot for suspected trespassing by a citizen security guard named George Zimmerman. This occured in Florida in a town called Sanford. Zimmerman has a typically Jewish name and he says he's Hispanic, so right there he's a civil rights catastrophe waiting to happen.

Sierra Lamar is a 14 year old White girl (I think) from Morgan Hill, CA who went missing in MidMarch, having never boarded the bus to go to her school. Her cell phone and her bag with some clothes have been located a couple of miles from her home but nothing else is known about her whereabouts.

Trayvon Martin was born at the beginning of 1995 and Sierra Lamar was born near the end of 1996. They share the Uranus-Neptune conjunction from those year in their natal charts. Trayvon's is in Capricorn at 24-28 Capricorn. Sierra's is Neptune 26 Capricorn-Uranus 1 Aquarius.

Capricorn is the sign associated with parents, usually the Father. On a societal level these events are bringing up a lot of topics for society and the media to discuss. Outer planet transits are said to project out into the bigger picture in this way because slow moving as they are many people within a generation share them. Trayvon Martin's murder has become a huge talk about racism and civil rights. Both kids were from Divorced families so now there is talk about how kids from Divorce get into trouble. I read an article yesterday about all the kids in the news right now who are from Divorce, the theme was lack of Fathering more than lack of Mothering. Sorry don't have a link. Should try to find it.

I've been studying kids from divorce and have found that, at least in the cases which go public in the national media, most of the women who get murdered by boyfriends and husbands seem to come from divorce. I'm not going into the reasons why this is so, mostly because kids from divorce wander around a lot and don't shelter themselves from the strangeness of others very well, either that or they are manipulative spoiled brats as anyone from an intact family will readily tell you. One can see the strange allegiences which occur within step families when Sierra Lamar's mother is interviewed. She can't seem to discuss her husband and boyfriend, even at the expense of not being able to find her daughter.

The Divorced kid thing is a long story. Since these two are/were teenagers we can focus the conversation on how to avoid that topic.

I said that I'm not going to discuss crime stories as they are occurring so already I've screwed that topic up. What I'm going to try to focus on is Mars in the natal charts of the victims and in the event charts of their victimhood. I've looked at a chart for Sierra's last cell phone call. It says something important but I can't say what.

The reason why I'm looking at Mars is because both Sierra and Trayvon had natal Mars within a degree of each other at 25-26 Leo. Mars also rules impulse and violence and bullets and knives. And it's just odd that they shared a Mars Return.

Mars is prominently placed in both of their charts as it is Lead Planet of their chart shapes. Sierra has Mars 25 Leo lead planet of a Locomotive Chart. Trayvon had Mars 26 Leo lead planet of a Bucket Chart.

Mars rules Men, mostly young impulsive boys and represents the male side of a person within a relationship, and also describes the impulsive side of a person. So these kids may have had a bit of a good soldier style of action, valuing honor and courage. Being a Fire Sign Leo can perhaps get itself into difficult situations, especially if offended. Leo is the sign of Pride, Romantic, wears Heart on Sleeve. Leo rules creativity and kids, so kids being raised by parents who aren't doing their job properly might dramatize through behaviors but most of all they just want to be good kids and to be rewarded for it.

Mars is prominent in the skies right now because he is moving Retrograde in Virgo and has been opposing Neptune. Virgo is the sign which comes after Leo, it's the sign of discernment and attempt to seek clarity through analysis of all the Leo drama. So, these kids' Mars is in the shadow of this current rx transit. Perhaps something they did back on the day when they had their exact Mars returns somehow led to what happened to them on the days of their victimization.

The Virgo-Pisces pole will often bring up issues regarding Civil Rights, most notable the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s which came about during a huge configuration in Virgo-Pisces. There is a weird chance that Sierra Lamar ran off to join the revolution, from looking at the chart, and this revolution could be related to immigrants' right just because Morgan Hill is an agricultural town.

Mars Opposing Neptune brings fogginess and lack of clarity, though, which seems to be part of both of these cases. There can be dishonesty and cover ups or just difficulty in discerning reality. Both cases are bringing about searches on mass scale, in civil rights in Trayvon's case along with Mass Media screw ups, and in the actual physical search in Sierra's case. Football players are tromping out in the fields in Morgan hill right now along with many other people looking for traces of what happened.

It's interesting that the Mars-Neptune opposition had just passed over the ASC-DESC pole of both event charts, but on opposite sides.

Pisces was Rising at 7:11 when Sierra sent her last text message to her friend so Mars was in the 6th House and Neptune was in the 12th House. (Since this is at the end of Pisces, Aries may have been actually rising when she was went missing).

Virgo was rising when Trayvon was shot so Mars would have been in the 12th House and Neptune in the 6th House. This is interesting just for the reason that everyone knows what happened to Trayvon and Mars represents guns and violence. He was also misidentified which would be a Neptunian problem. Neptunians can't really do eyewitness situations, but they can instantly identify the murderer (or more likely, crack dealer) in the room if they've never met the person before.

In Sierra's case nobody knows what happened to Sierra which is very Neptunian and unclear. If she disappeared soon after making her last text, Neptune is ruling the chart and is in its own sign and in its own house. The Sun is unaspected and in conjunction with the Ascendant at that point which shows a burst of ego that has nowhere to go.

There is a tight conjunction of Mercury-Uranus. which could indicate a runaway situation, just depends on the time of the disappearance. The chart is also unclear because there is a conjunction of Moon-Pluto in Capricorn up in the 10th House which squares the Mercury-Uranus conjunction. Pluto is connected with abduction and pretty much all types of shady crime and taboos. This is a very intense square aspect which is right on the angles. Plus, another quasi planet influence, Ceres, which is also connected with abduction is also in the 1st house. That's interesting because Ceres and Pluto are connected together through the myth of daughter/abductee, Persephone, in Greek myth. This myth is also about agriculture and Morgan Hill is a farming community. And there was recently another shooting of teenagers back in November which was related to gang activity. Maybe gang activity in Ceres?. Sierra's natal Jupiter is at 12 Capricorn and is unaspected except through a square to her Nodal Axis, so she may have run off to join the revolution (Uranus in Aries) and has long since flown out of the area.

I can't find any reason to connect Mars at 25-26 Leo with the events in either of these cases. It's out of bounds to be considered a Mars return for these kids. Mars will return back to 4 Virgo next week and then will move forward. This is an exact Mars Return for Trayvon Martin's killer, George Zimmerman, who has natal Mars at 4 Virgo. Mars will station right on his natal Mars next week.

Trayvon Martin was born with both Mercury and Mars Retrograde. So this mirrors the current Mercury-Mars Retrogrades that are in the sky right now. Mercury was not Rx when he was shot.

Sort of weird how there are no out of bounds planets in the natal or event charts. I always expect something to look really wiggy in the case of crime.

Ai Weiwei

Secretary of State Clinton spoke out today about China's current surge of detentions of citizens who are seen as dissidents. One of the people she mentioned is artist Ai Weiwei who is one of China's most well known artists. He is only known to me as the person who helped design the Bird's Nest at the Chinese Olympics.

Weiwei was taken into custody on Apr. 3, in the morning at the airport while waiting to leave for Hong Kong.

This was on the Aries Full Moon in aspect with the Jupiter-Saturn opposition. There was also a conjunction to the degree of Mars-Uranus-Lilith at 1 Aries. This is a very dangerous aspect, especially if Weiwei's natal Libra Moon is opposed by it. Uranus rules rebellion. Weiwei was beaten in 2009 to the point of having a cerebral hemorrhage. His studio was destroyed by the Government earlier this year.

This chart shows the life of a person who will face a lot of harsh challenges. The Sun is conjunct both Mars and Pluto at the beginning of Virgo. These square Saturn at 8 Sagittarius. This shows a contest of Wills to me. Weiwei's parents were detained by the Chinese Government when he was only 1 year old.

The Saturn (Authority) in Sagittarius (Freedom/Opinions) shows a need to defy authority. Saturn is even more prominent in the chart as a boundary planet to a bundle chart which trines Uranus 10 Leo. There's a great bundle of energy here as this trine contains all the other planets of the chart. The link below which talks about Weiwei's current detention describes the Saturn-Uranus trine perfectly. It quotes the Chinese Government as saying "The Law (Saturn) will not bend for mavericks (Uranus)."

Progressed Venus (Art) has just passed beyond conjunction with Saturn and is currently in exact square with Weiwei's natal Mars 13 Virgo.

Don't know how to fit this in to the scheme of things except to just note that Mercury was stationing Rx at 26 Virgo when Weiwei was born. So it is strongly placed in its own sign for that reason as well as being unaspected by major aspect to any other planet. And is also very important as it disposes his Sun-Mars-Pluto conjunction. Virgo analyzes and describes what doesn't work. In the U.S., Virgo is generally valued for this skill.

Apparently China has detained several dozen prominent people since the beginning of the year, threatened by the rebellions in the Middle East.

Jerry Brown - Governor of Christmas Past and Christmas Present

Is Jerry Brown a Buddhist or a Jesuit? I can't remember. Was just wondering whether or not he even celebrates Christmas as the title of this post suggests.

Brown is once again Governor of the Late Great State of California. Yayyy! Will sure be interesting to see how the interpretations of his chart change among the old hippie generation. Brown was called Governor Moonbeam during his first run. His weirdness as a "leader" earned him that name because he didn't live in the Governor's mansion and he drove something like an old Pinto around. And he dated pop singer Linda Ronstadt. He probably even wore sideburns and a wide psychedelic tie. What Steve Jobs did for Computers (and for California), that's what Jerry Brown did for California.

Brown's got a natal conjunction of Sun 18 Aries to Saturn 10 Aries. The Sun/Aries/Saturn combination is meant to lead.

Pretty interesting that his Saturn has progressed to 17 Degrees Aries so is one degree away from his natal Sun. They are super close right now. They are also in close conjunction with California's "natal" Saturn which is at 20 Aries Rx. As Saturn rules Old Age it's interesting to look at his progressed Saturn with regard to the age element of his leadership. He became California's youngest ruling Governor and is now returning as the state's oldest Governor. I'll have to make him some angora fingerless mittens. That's supposedly an old folk remedy for arthritis. Angora is the warmest fur. Maybe I'll just send him an actual rabbit to hold. The fur would molt all over his clothes and with Moon in Cancer he's probably got allergies.

California's also got a conjunction to the degree of Uranus to Pluto at 30 Aries so when the Uranus Return occurs in 7 years or so California should see a major shift of some sort. Jupiter will pass over it this year. Saturn will pass over it soon after. And that should help understand how the societal structure will develop. Jupiter-Saturnians are planners/builders.

So, whatever Saturn in Aries means to you, that's what it's gonna mean to Californians right now. Especially since Jupiter and Uranus are both passing into Aries pretty soon.

The Mercury Retrogrades for 2011 will for the most part be in fire signs so there will be some opportunities for getting our mojo back. Fire is enthusiastic and gives the creative spark to get things kick started. Hopefully there won't be any violence. Hopefully his Scorpio NN won't kick in. It's squaring natal Jupiter in Aquarius, which stands out in his chart (lead planet of locomtive chart, singleton Air). And his North Node also trines natal Pluto in Cancer.

Brown has Sun-Saturn conjunction in Aries in his 9th House of philosophy, religion, law, ethics. Interesting that his Sun is squaring his natal Moon in Cancer which is in his 12th House. That's very psychic and spiritual. His Moon 21 Cancer is in conjunction to his natal Pluto 28 Cancer. So, his natal Sun squares his natal Moon from H9 to H12. But natal Saturn and Pluto are in the same signs and houses but aren't in a square with each other. Can't really explain how, but I suppose this inner/outer combination might describe in some way the fact that Brown was the youngest Governor of California and now will be the oldest Governor. He was leading the Pluto in Geminis and Cancers and Leos (the hippies at least). Now he will be leading the Pluto in Leo, Virgo, Libra and Scorpios. At any rate, he's the only Democrat my Father ever voted for because he represented innovation and problem solving.

California was born of a compromise called "the Compromise of 1850." I forgot to read about it.

The RSVP Cycles

The RSVP Cycles was a textbook I read for an experimental music class in college. Having grown up in Southern California in the 1960s in a town where 35 modernist architects lived, one of whom was my Father, I think I took this type of thinking for granted. The book was written by Lawrence Halprin, a landscape architect, (and innovator) and his wife, Anna Halprin, who is a dancer, choreographer (and healer and innovator). RSVP stands for "Resources" "Score" "Valuaction" and "Performance." There's a nice explanation on Wikipedia. These principles propose a new way of understanding how to create, sort in the way that John Cage's books do, but with more structure. For the music class it was a text on composition. It could just as easily be a text on design, or dance, or painting, or anything else. Beyond that, I have to say that I didn't really "get the whole idea." Lessons in those days were usually kept pretty vague as a way of avoiding any authoritarian set rules.

What attracts me now is the word "Cycles," especially connected with the word RSVP, since I'm so much into studying Return Cycles as points of development. Lawrence Halprin passed away last year in 2009 on October 25. There must have been a mention in a newspaper somewhere about this anniversary on Monday that caught the corner of my eye because I suddenly started thinking about that book.

So, I decided to take a look at Anna and Lawrence Halprin's charts. What I found is a really amazing pair of Sun-Venus conjunction people. Sun-Venus is related to both the Arts, Harmony, Balance and Beauty, and also Marriage Partners. I can't find astro data about their actual marriage and don't know if they remained married. It appears that they stayed together, but with Uranus leading both of their chart shapes they probably kept their relationship pretty loose.

Not only did they share the conjunction but they shared it in the same sign in Cancer. The sign of Cancer is really appropriate for people who are involved in environmental design. (Think Buckminster Fuller, Tesla, Viktor Schauberger). Water is an extremely important element in Lawrence Halprin's design. The idea of allowing things to evolve and to grow from a seed is also a Cancerian ideal.

What's even more interesting is that Lawrence Halprin, who was born first in 1916, had a natal Sun conjunct Venus Retrograde and Pluto in Cancer. Sun-Venus conjunction people sometimes follow a really interesting 8 year cycle of 5 which is related to the proportions of the Golden Mean. It appears that Sun-Venus Rx people follow a 4 year Return cycle as well. Lawrence was going through a Sun-Venus Return at Age 4 when his wife was born. Both even have the conjunction aspect connected with outer planets by conjunction, but not in major aspect to other planets. Lawrence had a huge stellium in Cancer with Pluto, Sun, Venus Rx, Lilith, Saturn and possibly Moon.

Anna's Sun-Venus conjunction is later on in the sign at 21-24 degrees. Her Pluto is 8 Cancer.

It's really fascinating to flip the animation wheel on the software program and watch how the Sun-Venus Rx conjunctions cycle back on through every year on Lawrence's Birthdays in childhood. I said before that Sun and Venus seem to have been in conjunction every four years (something I don't understand because I thought this occurred every 8 years). Lawrence also experienced really intense Sun-Pluto conjunctions every year on his Birthday for about the first 10 years of his life.

Because Pluto is placed farther apart from her Sun, Anna also would have had the same type of Solar Return aspect every year during her childhood starting from about Age 6 or 7 and lasting through High School. That explains their need to completely change and transform their environment and ways of healing. They shared a very deep emotional core, that's for sure. They must have been left alone a lot as kids.

Engineering Disasters and the Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction

The movie Chinatown is about the guy who created what is known as "the worst US civil engineering disaster of the 20th century." I've been told a zillion times to see that movie but never have. Basically, Los Angeles wouldn't be able to exist if it hadn't been for William Mulholland, a self trained engineer who immigrated from Belfast Ireland in the late 19th Century. Mulholland diverted all kinds of rivers from the Central Inland California region and pretty much drained the Central Valley of its lush, fertile land in order to create Los Angeles. (And then the Klan moved in.)

I guess there weren't any manuals on how to build a damn back in those days. You just sat by the riverbed and watched the beavers do it and then tried to do it yourself. It looks like we might be better off letting the beavers do it, whatever the case, even now. The Chinese have built huge dams and have had successive huge earthquakes since which may or may not be related. And Orange County is drinking its own pee. And San Diego's water has tested as the worst in the country (or close to, I don't have the stats in front of me).

Anyway, Mulholland was a genius until he screwed up. On Mar. 12, 1928 just hours after he had personally inspected it the St. Francis Dam gave way and flooded Ventura all the way from the Mountains down to the ocean. A town called Santa Paula was completely washed away. There were more than 400 deaths. Mulholland's career ended and he spent the rest of his Sun in Virgo life self-flagellating. Supposedly, the problem was not entirely his fault. They just didn't know how to build dams.

Story sound like today? Of course it does. The BP Oil Disaster down in the Gulf of Mexico shares some amazing similarities with the St. Francis Damn Disaster astro-wise. Different Century. Same extreme level of catastrophe. Striking similarities to outer planet activity.

Don't mean to be flip about what a horror this is (I've bit a huge hole in my cheek watching the birds covered in the oil and the people breathing fumes and finally had to turn off CNN and go for a walk) but just hope this will be readable so am trying to make brief:

I've studied this chart before but never published anything. It's really fascinating to connect the State of California's Sun in Virgo opposition to Neptune with with Mulholland's Sun in Virgo opposite Neptune in Pisces.

California has a singleton Neptune in Pisces which is why the water wars are such a big deal here (along with the fact that most of the state is desert, duh). Mulholland's chart was completely hooked into the California water supply. Too bad about his catastrophe prone Pluto conjunct NN 5-7 Taurus and squaring Mars 7 Leo. That gives the kind of superhuman will to get things going, but can overdo a bit.

So, the BP guy is under intense scrutiny. Kind of funny how both men are Brits who screw up trying to corral the big American Expanse. You know, my Father used to buy used Jaguar XJ6's and we used to have to always put up with them breaking down whenever we went to family events. English engineering sucks as far as I'm concerned. God love the Brits but they simply can't get their whirligigs to spin. We really need to leave the engineering miracles to the Germans and the Japanese. Maybe their Math skills sucks. I don't know what the Hell Tony did wrong. Maybe that's because he's a Gemini and that's my Rising Sign and I feel partly responsible through my guilt tripping Cap Moon. Mostly it's because I don't see "Big Stupid Corporate Animal" indicators in his chart. It's interesting to notice that both Mulholland and Hayward have Nodal Axes on the Taurus-Scorpio pole. Komilla Sutton isn't kidding when she says that these guys have extra rows to hoe in life.

And what I said about the Germans being good at engineering? Scratch that. Tony came on board back in 2007. He didn't install the rig. He probably didn't even know it was out there. The Oil Rig was already set in place down in the Gulf back in 2001. Remember it was when the Saturn-Pluto opposition was going ape face. At that point a German born guy named John Browne had been running BP for centuries. This guy's got the ugly chart we're looking for too. Not because he's bad. He's obviously good. He was on the forefront of trying to turn BP into a Green company. But his chart, eh, it looks guilty. Browne has a Jupiter-Uranus opposition in Gemini-Sagittarius. That shows the environmentally friendliness and engineering stuff. But this opposition would have been hit by the Saturn-Pluto opposition of 2001.

Browne's got natal Sun conjunct Mercury RX at 1 Pisces opposing Mars 27 Leo Rx. He's also got the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Leo that was going on during his birth year in earlier degrees of Leo. Because of Mars' Rx it has been in conjunction with Saturn and Pluto for all of his life. That's a difficult aspect for Karma coming back to bite you in the ass. Others born around that time are Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, and Barbara Bush. All these great people who are somehow connected with other people's problems and power plays in ways that are mind-boggling.

I don't have anything intelligent to say about what has happened in the Gulf. I just hope that people in charge of doing big projects like this try to put a little extra attention into putting in security cautions at this point. We still have the Eclipses and the Pluto-NN conjunction coming up over the rest of the year.

Margaret Mead

I spent most of Saturday night digging through the magazine racks at the Barnes & Noble. Even spent a while gawking at the latest issue of Skeptic Magazine and found an interesting story about a guy who spent 40 years trying to discount Margaret Mead's findings about the sex lives of natives in Samoa. Mead was the anthropologist who is said to have opened the gateways for the sexual revolution of the 1960s with her writings about how the free sex lives of the natives of Samoa. Apparently this wasn't true for all Samoans, just the ones who Mead, as a closeted Lesbian, was most attracted to.

The article in the magazine was was actually trying to debunk Mead's debunker. This magazine just loves to disagree with everything. There was also some kind of article about how professional Magicians are more skeptical than the average person. Maybe this was the once a year Introspective Issue where the Skeptics turn on themselves, sort of like watching a dog chew its own tail off. Capricorn Moon here; I was entertained.

At any rate, the debunker was Derek Freeman. Like Mead, he was an anthropologist. Freeman said that he interviewed the two women who Mead had originally interviewed as old ladies they told him that they had sort of made up the stories because they were embarrassed by Mead's questions. Sounds reasonable, but who knows.

At any rate the story in Skeptic magazine says that the fateful interview was on Mar. 13, 1926. I just love it when they give the date. Actually the article even said that the interview happened at night. It's sort of like Skeptic Magazine was tossing a bone to me so they could have a new person to attack. Wonder if they could sell an issue that attacks a blog called "Out the Comet's Ass?" That would be even more perverse than the tail chasing scene. By the way, are there any women who write for Skeptic Magazine or is this sort of White Boy thing like the Astrologers who live in Tempe, AZ?

Either way, I wanted to take a look at Mead's chart to see if it could show that she would be vulnerable to deception on that date, or whatever else it could explain. And I also wanted to look at what happens in a chart when there is a great public reaction to a person's idea and then a gradual wearing away of that idea. Scorpio Midheaven can show this.

Margaret Mead

Sun 24 Sagittarius; Moon 27 Aquarius; ASC 18 Capricorn; MC 12 Scorpio; NN 12 Scorpio;

Mead has the type of chart you'd expect to find in an independent, educated woman concerned with humanitarian causes, a real adventurer. She was a Sagittarius with an Aquarius Moon. Her Sun is conjunct Uranus which repeats the Uranian theme of her Moon.

Mead's Ascendant is also really interesting. It is Capricorn which shows a serious ambitious personality. She was born during a conjunction of Jupiter to Saturn in Capricorn which is tightly conjunct the Ascendant and Mars. Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions are thought to influence world politics. They were connected for a long time to Tecumseh's curse which led to the attacks of Presidents in the U.S. The last George Bush was the first President to break this curse. Tecumseh has a really witty ghost apparently.

Mead's Mars-Jupiter-Saturn-ASC stellium does not make any aspects with the rest of Mead's chart. This shows that her personality would have been quite strong. It also will show down the line as affecting her relationships in some way as ASC/DESC shows this area of life. Saturn not only rules her chart and is in conjunction with the Ascendant and the natural ruler of the Ascendant, Mars, it is also the final dispositor.

Respect is important to everybody, but for a Saturnian a loss of respect can be deadly. It can show fear of failure. Either way, Mead's work was kept stable until after her death. She has Scorpio on her Midheaven with a conjunction of her North Node on the same degree in Scorpio. How great is that for the woman who is thought to have a great influence on the Sexual Revolution of the 60s? Freeman waited to publish his debunking book until after Mead's death, that's a Scorpio MC I guess. Scorpio also gives one the magnetic and powerful ability to hold on to one's reputation. I looked at Donald Rumsfeld's chart which showed all kinds of different things. (The post is somewhere, I don't know where.)

On Mar. 13, 1926, a number of aspects were setting off Mead's chart. She was going through her first Uranus square transit. By coincidence the Sun was conjunct Uranus in both her Natal Chart and in the Transiting Chart of that day. There may also have been a New Moon on that night in Pisces which means that the Moon was approaching conjunction with Sun-Uranus by transit and squaring the natal.

That much Sun-Uranus action could have indicated that she was perhaps coming on a bit too strong for the natives. Her enthusiasm may have influenced their responses and reactions. Sun is Ego and Uranus is sort of the alter Ego as it rules the opposite end of the Leo polarity. I suppose if we want to start a Revolution, we might as well be going through a major Uranus aspect like this, though. Mead already had that Mars-Saturn conjunction on her Ascendant natally and was no doubt a bit of a pushy personality. She would have needed this in order to do what she did in a man's world, even today.

Further influencing Mead at this time: she was going through both a Venus Return and a Mars Return on that day. Since these are the two planets that rule the love life of an individual it seems that Mead would have been taking the meeting with the two women in Samoa on some sort of personal level.

Further echoing the influence of the New Moon transit at the time of the meeting, Mead's progressed chart shows a New Moon aspect as well in Capricorn. And this New Moon was at 17-18 Capricorn is right on top of her Ascendant and Mars-Jupiter-Saturn Stellium! (Saturn 16 Cap; ASC, Mars and Jupiter 18 Cap)

The planets are definitely lining up for Mead to make a break through in some sort of way through the planets related to sociology, Jupiter-Saturn, by some sort of one on one relationship (interview). One of the women she interviewed, Fa'apua'a Fa'amu may have been born with the same Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in her own chart as well, as both women may have been born in the same year (can't vouch for the birth date I found on the Internet but it is listed below).

So, during a Pisces New Moon there can be deception or confusion at least. Since Fa'amu's Sun is at 10 Taurus and Mead's is at 24 Sagittarius I sort of wonder if the New Moon aspect was at the midpoint between their charts. There is a point between 5-7 degrees Pisces which I'll show is significant in Mead's progressed chart with relation to Retrogrades. Hey! I just noticed that I've been writing this just as we're approaching a New Moon in Pisces conjunct Uranus!!!!! Cool!!!

I was wishing of course to be able to determine from Mead's chart that her ideas would be "debunked." That's probably a stupid thing to look at for such an achiever but a subject that most real people can relate to more in their own lives (how many of us get to be one of the top Anthropologists of all time and the spark of a Sexual Revoluation? Can't relate? I didn't think so). It seems that this debunking is considered acceptable in Scientific communities and is part of the method. It's why everyone believes in Science. Since most Scientific ideas are debunked every 50 or 100 years that's not maybe the most logical point of view, but who am I to get in the way of progress?

I found some interesting connections between Mead's debunking and her progressed planets. Her progressed Venus went Retrograde in 1942 at 4 Pisces. Venus is going to describe a person's love relationships. Mead went through a few of these. The Retrograde can bring some kind of stalling with whatever is ruled by the planet involved. With Venus perhaps more with women than with men because Venus rules Women. Mead had 3 marriages and 3 divorces. By 1942 she was married to her 3d husband. He left her in 1950. She said that he was her true love and that he broke her heart. At this point she seems to have switched sexual preferences and have become Lesbian. She completely changed the identity of her love relationships in order to have one that would work. I think that is often what happens with prog. Venus Rx in whatever way. The extended stay at the same place in the chart makes a person have to look deeper into how they love and are loved. A Sun-Uranus person with Venus in Aquarius is probably going to take experimentation a bit further than most.

In 1957, Mead's progressed Mercury went Rx at 6 Pisces. I wonder how things went for her as Mercury rules communications. I think she taught for a long time in her later years.

I wonder also what the significance of this specific area of Pisces was for Mead's chart. Both Venus and Mercury went Rx near the same spot in Pisces in her progressed Chart. This point is in the 2d house of her natal chart and is trining her natal Neptune 1 Cancer-Sun opposition, so it is significant in some way. It certainly shows that she influenced the idea of "values" in society, a 2d House topic.

Mead's Mercury stationed Direct in 1978. This is the year that she died. (Mercury ruled her 4th House which shows "end of life" so I suppose this could be one interpretation for that aspect although I wouldn't want to use it in any readings.

I'll just quote the paragraph from Wikipedia here which explains Mead's debunker. He spent 40 years re-researching her research. One can line up his story along side the dates that I've just given. The correspondences are pretty interesting for trying to figure out exactly how Retrogrades in Progressions can figure in a person's life.

Freeman described incongruities between Mead's published research and his observations of Samoans:
“ In my early work I had, in my unquestioning acceptance of Mead's writings, tended to dismiss all evidence that ran counter to her findings. By the end of 1942, however, it had become apparent to me that much of what she had written about the inhabitants of Manu'a in eastern Samoa did not apply to the people of western Samoa...Many educated Samoans, especially those who had attended college in New Zealand, had become familiar with Mead's writings about their culture...[and] entreated me, as an anthropologist, to correct her mistaken depiction of the Samoan ethos.[5] ”

Freeman conducted research for more than forty years, describing his research as concluding in 1981 when he was finally granted access to the archives of the High Court of American Samoa for the 1920s;[6] consequently, his refutation was published only after Mead's death in 1978.

Fa'apua'a had a conjunction of Sun to Venus in Taurus. Venus is strong in her own sign here. This aspect certainly shows a woman with a lot of sexual charm. A sort of Helen of Troy. No wonder she sparked the Revolution.

Weird Coincidence on New Years

So, I just hammered down an entire bottle of Welch's Grape Juice, a $4.99 bottle from Trader Joe's which was recommended by a red-faced lady who was buying up practically an entire case' worth tonight (said that for 5 bucks it's an unbelievable deal).

And, so, like I said I was wondering.

You know Bernie Madoff, who "madoff" with everyone's money (heard that use of his last name from David what's his name, funny comedian, on the Tonight show I think). Anyway, Madoff has a list of 14,000 victims at last count. People and charities who he screwed out of zillions. Boy, and some of those charities, Capricorn Moon that I am, I just don't see it happening, but some of these other guys, they just go ahead and take.

Anyway, I started thinking about Madoff's list. And the idea of "list" sunk in and I thought of "Schindler's List." about Oskar Schindler. And so look at these guys' charts. They really line up. Born within a day of each other, same Mars sign (Gemini), same Saturn Sign (Aries). Maybe they even had the same Moon Sign (Aries) .

You can see how hard it is to read a person, let alone an astrological chart. Can't you? (probably not)

It all swings one way, or then it swings the opposite way. Good and bad. Both men are Taurus Suns concerned with business and greed. Either way, we can see how a Taurus Sun is concerned with finances and accumulations of said funds. When progressed Sun hits natal Mars in Gemini, dude gets overly clever and confident, does his own thing for good or bad.

Taurus rules the alphabet. Gemini rules categories and lists. So, I suppose that's the connection with lists. And with money.

But look at the Nodes. That shows the person's destiny/fate/whateverthehell you call it. Schindler has NN in Cancer conjunct Neptune opposing Uranus and squaring Saturn, maybe Moon. That's some real outer planet awareness of others. He had to have to think about doing good for humanity at some point.

Madoff had NN in Scorpio with Venus-Mars conjunct South Node, all squared by Jupiter in Aquarius. He just thought of the opportunity, the ability to finess, his personal magnetism.

Actually, well, both had Venus-Mars conjunctions, different signs, so they both even had that connection with each other. It helps to have charm. Schindler's NN was in Gemini, so his secretary was literally important to his personal path in life. He deferred much to Ben Kingley's character, if you know what I mean. Madoff's NN was in Scorpio so at some point he was going to deal with revenge.

Anyway, I don't have the answers. I'm just yapping away here with hopes that only intelligent people will read this and not mis-interpret it.

Happy New Year! Remember, what you think you know, maybe it's not true. Maybe a kernel of it is true and all the rest is silliness. Maybe all of it is true but there is nothing you can do about it (unless you're highly educated and well credentialed, so please go to school).

Tiger Woods Wrecks His Life A Little

Big Sports Stars and their Sex Lives. I couldn't care less, you're not hearing this from me, mind you, wouldn't want to get all Mercurial and gossipy here about this, but I had to look at Tiger Woods' chart to see why suddenly his sex life is being presented to us the public at this point in time. I know that sports stars and celebrities have sort of a weird peer pressure thing to do this conquest thing with the ladies. They say it's for their image. They're doing it to impress each other. They build this rich fantasy life that goes along with their celebrity. Woods has Mars conjunct Gemini Midheave (reputation as athlete). Mars opposes Moon (public, women) and Neptune (fantasy, deception).

So, Tiger is a Capricorn. Capricorns tend to get caught because they are ruled by Saturn and Saturn rules guilt and regret and life lessons. That's why Capricorns are really smart like Sagittarians but also wise and clear headed. It's also why they're so grumpy and intolerant of bad behaviors in others. They know from experience that if they hang out with a jerk, they'll eventually get blamed for everything that goes down. I don't know why this is. Must be something related to the Father because Capricorns tend to think of their Mothers as the Virgin Mary. Really, they put off some super power innocence thing on the Mother.

I sort of remember something about Age 33 and the Solar Return cycles culminating at that age. I'll mention it although I don't see how it happens in Tiger's chart. He's 33 years old which supposedly means that the Sun in his Solar Return chart has cycled all the way through the houses and has returned to its birth spot. There's something happening like that.

At any rate, Tiger's Capricorn sun is in a pretty intense t-square aspect with H1 Pluto and H7 Lilith. These are on the angles so are very potent. His Sun is in the 4th House of family, parents, and home. Lilith and Pluto like to do the taboo. Pluto likes to have some privacy while doing the nasty. Lilith couldn't care less, she'll do it anywhere. Interesting that one of Woods' Gal Pals, Rachel Uchitel, is said to have been born on the same day as Woods. This would give her the same t-square. Don't really know how to explain why that might be, just think it's interesting that these two would hook up and then their affair would be such a drag. Getting caught like this exagerrates the kinky just the way that Lilith might like. It reminds me of how Monica Lewitsky's affair was Bill Clinton's biggest blunder and they had matching Sun and Moon signs. It sounds so German Romantic doppel-gangerish to see these big celebrity men getting caught by their astrological twins, at any rate. (And I don't know if that's Uchitel's birth date for sure).

On the other angle, Tiger has a really incredible opposition of Moon to Mars hanging over his IC/MC axis. His natal Mars is prominent because it's out-of-bounds and Retrograde. And his natal Moon is traveling fast. That explains why his eyesight is so damn good. Sure does explain his extreme skill as an athlete. Mars rules the physical body and competitiveness, and Midheaven rules one's public life. The Retrograde Progression means that Mars has been in aspect with Wood's Midheaven for a really long time during his life.

And, right now, the Saturn-Uranus opposition has been not only squaring this double opposition but has been passing over Woods' ASC/DESC. And his progressed Moon is right there in Pisces (family, women, Mother, needs and feelings) (18 Pisces) and is closing in on Uranus and the Descendant. So, his angles are shot to shit. And the angles specifically rule relationships (H1 and H7) and career and homelife (H10 and H4).

Plus, the Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune conjunction is happening in his 5th House of Romantic liaisons so he's got the Happy Happy like Governor Sanford of South or North Carolina. Woods' progressed Venus has been passing over his natal Sun which adds to the overindulgent leisure lifestyle thing. He's probably been going through some weird feelings of not knowing what to do next with his life, hope he's not suicidal over this, it's actually about his grief over his Father and stuff.

Interesting aside about Tiger's progressed Mars. It was Retrograde when he was born at 18 Gemini and Stationed Direct around 1995-1996 at 15 Gemini. During that same year, his wife Elin's progressed Mars stationed Retrograde Motion at 16 Virgo. These spots all square each other on the Astrological Wheel. It's almost as if she somehow picked up on his Mars vibe, or he picked up on hers and they share this link.

Anyways, it sounds like Tiger's got a problem with drugs. The Chiron-Jupiter-Neptune conjunction has been hitting his progressed Sun which is at 14 Aquarius. Since it's moved on now he might be able to come back down to earth. Otherwise, he's going to end up in an old piano bar competing with good old Governor Sanford for every old cougar who walks in.

1957 problems

Something weird is in the air. Is that a Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune in Aquarius thing?

Successful men are getting caught left and right and it happens that they are all born in the same year, 1957. So, I'm thinking there is some sort of problem going on with the Stars that's affecting the 1957'ers. Is this a case of desperate Middle Age Men hitting both the wall and economic hard times at the same time in life? Is it fall all out from Chiron Returns? Let's just say that in the United States you are innocent until proven guilty so we don't know for certain who did what (but, for the sake of being a jerk I'll probably accuse all of them).

Astrology-wise, ooo wow, looka dose planets. Both Neptune and Pluto were changing signs in 1957 so were near the first degrees of their new signs when when these three men were born. Neptune moved to Scorpio and Pluto moved to Virgo. This means that Pluto's current transit is aspecting both of these outer planets. And when Neptune and Pluto are working together things just ball up and go -- poof.

Virgo and Scorpio both make easy aspects to Capricorn and so how can this be? Some astrologers don't even look at easy transits. Well, Saturn and Uranus are moving in and out of squares with transiting Pluto as they are approaching the big Cardinal t-square aspect to Pluto so the old Scorpion has bedfellows, and these big outer planet bedfellows that pick you up by the nape of your neck and carry you where they please. And that long Venus Rx transit in Aries last Fall stressed Pluto. And Mars just finished opposing Pluto. And the Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune transit is so counter intuitive for the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto stuff that the outies are moving in opposite directions of each other.

Are we coming or are we going? Is the market going up or is the market going down? Are the icebergs melting? (well, that's looking like a one-way street, and, by the way, when the interest rates go up the market goes down and the interest rates are down as low as they can go, and if the bankers just returned their damned bonuses the markets would probably level out.)

First on the check list this past month was New Age Spiritual Warrior James Arthur Ray. Because of the Ooga Booga aspect of this guy's job this certainly sounds like a no-brainer Chiron in Aquarius type of story. "Wounded Teacher of the Weirdos." That's perfect.

Took me about 4 days of internet searches to separate this guy from his historical almost namesake, James Earl Ray, who was the guy who killed Martin Luther King. You'd think that a New Age Guru would have changed his name by now in order to avoid summoning up any creepy old assassins but this guy seems to think he can transcend just about anything. Anyway, there seems to be a similar obsession with death between the two which is really creepy.

The story is, James Arthur Ray is the guy who set up the Spiritual Warrior Retreat in Sedona, AZ which ended in armageddon. About 60-65 people with absolutely no sense in their heads crammed into a plastic tent. They had been on a 40 hour fast and had been doing special hyperventilating techniques all week. Ray is now maybe facing homicide charges for negligence because three people died and around 20 went to the hospital. Really scary is the fact that Ray won't talk to police. And he hasn't gone to the hospital to help the sick. And he's continuing with his preaching. Hehehehe, and now we get a lesson in seeing how Spiritual Warriors slither out of their stupid human tricks. Remember, Jim Jones and his followers? Guess this is the same thing, Spiritul Kool-Aid.

Ray apparently told people that it would feel like they were dying and so they didn't get up and walk out just because they felt uncomfortable. How can anyone trust anybody else that much?

First thing, I wondered when I heard about this, I was curious to know if Ray is a Pluto in Virgo rather than a Pluto in Leo person. Pluto in Virgo can't mock the death rays the way that Pluto in Leo can because Pisces is always on the other end of its axis waiting to end things. The Leo flip side is Aquarius, collective consciousness. The Virgo flip side is Pisces, end o' the line, institution, victimization, and damn fine artists (the other qualities is why the Pluto in Virgo generation doesn't seem to be producing much great art, who wants to go there, after all?)

Ray's chart is extremely interesting in this case because he's a double Sagittarius with Sun squaring Pluto. Without a birth time we don't know the Moon's placement but the Moon may also be squaring Pluto. That would make a New Moon squaring Pluto in his birth chart. Since I don't know the birth time, I won't say anything about the Moon though.

But, Sun-Pluto in a square together reads on a very simple level "Ego challenges Power". Sun-Pluto people think they are transformers. They sort of turn spirituality into a tonka truck game because of this. Remember Lenny from Of Mice and Men? Thing is, they are "manifesters." They are very creative, of course, but they can also through use of will, create. Sometimes they can be lacking in vision and intelligence and compassion and that can be a drag. And, they have to watch out what they ask for and talk about because these two planets manifest absolutely everything, especially the deep, dark fears, that go through the native's head due to Pluto's need to confront all that is taboo. These people struggle with loneliness like you wouldn't believe.

Ray actually has four planets in Sagittarius. Sun, Moon, Mercury and Saturn Rx. This shows boundless enthusiasm and a buoyant spirit. It also can indicate a "Confidence Man" type of personality. Sagittarians don't really admit when they do wrong. They're used to getting away with things by use of their charms. That's why grumpy, guilty, karma tripping Capricorn has to follow. Pluto is passing from one of these signs to the other right now.

Donna Cunningham has written a great blog about Ray's chart on her website "Skywriter.com." She concentrates on Ray's natal Mars-Neptune-NN conjunction in Scorpio. I suppose I'd prefer to see that aspect in an old surfer myself, but New Age Guru sounds appropriate too.

Please also notice other aspects that play right into the Scorpio North Node, plus Mars and Neptune. One is a very prominent square between Venus and Jupiter in Rays' chart. Both planets have prominence and demand to be noticed. First, Venus in Capricorn is prominent because she has recently turned Retrograde by Progression over Ray's natal Chiron. In the progressed chart they are both conjunct to the degree. Venus rules everything that Ray seems to talk about in his lectures. Things having to do with wealth. Chiron represents the great sage who could teach others how to heal themselves but couldn't heal his own wounds. Venus going retrograde can be an assault on one's loveability. Ray won't admit it but just as his star was beginning to shine in 2003-4 his charms were actually dimishing. Wonder if he sold it -- his soul that is.

The second element of this square, Jupiter, is prominent in Ray's chart because it is a singleton in Air and is the dispositor of Ray's Sun and Moon, Mercury and Saturn. Also, by Secondary Progression it has just changed signs and has moved into Scorpio. Scorpio, Scorpio, Scorpio. Death, Sex and Taxes.

And Jupiter's influence keeps going. Ray's progressed Jupiter is now in conjunction that natal Neptune-Mars-NN conjunction which shows off his guru stuff. This, of course, sets off everything having to do with his destiny as ruled by the North Node. Strange how there's a mirror-image Jupiter-Neptune transit in the sky right now in conjunction with Chiron (Wounded Healer). This influence is so compounded right now in Ray's chart, it's scary. Plus, like I said, Sagittarius doesn't admit to wrongs committed and Neptune, well Neptune in an emergency just freaks out and runs. That's actually not bad. If you're useless in an emergency better to get the hell out than to stand around and cry the way I do.

And, so, this all ties right back into Ray's progressed Venus-Chiron conjunction because the two sets of planets are in the same spot with each other 15-25 Aquarius right now. And not only that but they were passing over the Ascendant just as this Sweat Lodge in Sedona began. And in addition to that they were involved in a Grand Trine with the Sun and the Moon on the day of the tragedy. There you go with more positive aspects. The fact that the people at the sweat lodge were suffering and didn't either ask for help or just get up and walk out demonstrates Noel Tyl's interpretation of the Grand Trine aspect, which is just that, people under this aspect influence don't seem to be able to reach out and ask for help. (Of course, people born with a Grand Trine are generally given help).

As I said, as of 2003-4, Ray's progressed Venus has been moving in Retrograde motion. That bodes ill for a person's loveability (sp?) quotient. Venus is related to one on one relationships and to self-esteem related to material wealth. It's almost as if Venus tempted him with extreme amounts of these wonderful things and now is going to pull it all out from under him. I actually can't find any information about Ray's relationship status, married, single, gay, straight, but that would seem to be involved in some way.

Ray's got to go through this kind of hell because he's got a natal square between Sun and Pluto, both power planets that manifest a person's deepest fears in the real world. The square likes to throw big challenges at you related to whatever planets it hooks together.

Moving on, another 1957 guy, one of the United States' richest men, Raj Rajaratnam, Hedge Fund Manager. Rajaratnam's company, Galleon Group, has been making 10 percent income in spite of everyone else's losses. That's less than what Bernie Madoff was making but is still pretty good. Rajaratnam has been arrested for Insider Trading. I can't make heads or tails out of the situation, it was like this with Martha Stewart too. This is more complicated high finance games that I don't understand. This guy was prodding his employees to get "the edge."That's the only story we get and my reaction is "Welcome to the States, mean bastard. You will do well here." Can you really be arrested for this though? Guess I don't have the full story. Anyway, this guy also has a weird name. It's like his parents were stuttering on his last name when they wrote the info down for the birth certificate, like Eric Ericson, Sam Samson. Why bother giving the kid a first name at all? Maybe it's only a nickname.

This guy gets arrested during his Mars Return in Cancer. His progressed Mars and Pluto are in conjunction at the end of Leo. What is that Star that hangs out at the end of Leo? It's a sign of great success and then loss of great success. Maybe he did get a little too aggressive. A Gemini Sun with a Cancer Mars guy is going to be a little bit of a mood swinger. He's been arrested so he must be getting messed up by the Neptune transit in some way. My computer is getting messed up by something else so I can't really look it up right now.

And moving on from that another 1957 guy, Stewart Nozette, a bigwig Scientist with the Feds, has been caught and arrested for trying to sell information to the Israelis. Aren't the Israelis our allies? Do they need to buy our secrets? They probably made our secrets. Why bother going over the Government's head on that one? This guy was one of the scientists who was responsible for thinking that there may be water on the Moon and I know that the scientists are really bored by how boring the bombing was. Something about not being able to see a plume after the bomb was dropped. Maybe the bomb missed the target and no one wants to admit it.

I do know that this Moon failure thing brings us back to the big Saturn-Uranus-Pluto t-square in the sky that is trying to resolve itself through its Geminian/Cancerian empty leg.

So, anyway, these guys have the Scorpio North Nodes which is said to be a toughie. The Pluto transit is just really hooking them in. Frightening. Okay, so I've got major computer weirdness and am going to have to quit.

The Nina, The Pinta, and the Santa Maria

Usually Columbus Day is celebrated on the 2d Monday in October. Today's date, October 12, matches the actual historical date that land was sited.

Wikipedia actually guesstimates Christopher Columbus' birthdate as being between Aug. 25 and Oct. 31 in 1451. That means that Christopher Columbus was either a Virgo, a Libra, or a Scorpio. According to my last blog, this means that Christopher Columbus would have had a higher than average chance of being a self-made millionaire if he had been born in Modern Times.

Neptune on an Aries Point stands out. I wonder if Columbus didn't have Neptune on his Midheaven since he's known to every school kid for having Sailed the Ocean Blue in 1492. That's sort of the first Advertising Jingle.

Columbus set off with his 3 ships on August 3, 1492 from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain and returned at some point in 1493. Land was sighted by a sailor, Rodrigo de Triana from off the Pinta.

Mars was in Cancer and unaspected on that date. Sounds like maybe a chaotic start.

Pluto was in Scorpio conjunct the North Node and opposing Chiron. That makes sense considering this is the voyage that is said to have brought Syphillis to Europe. Or was Syphillis brought to the Americas from Europe? At any rate, the Sun and Mercury were in Leo and the Moon was in Sagittarius, and a good time was had by all. This was the Age of Exploration, after all.

Another interesting aspect for that date, assuming I'm working with the correct date (the Pope kept messing around with the Calendars and sometimes I use the wrong date so be fore-warned), is that the Sun was opposing Saturn at 14 Aquarius on this date. The Spanish are more Adventurous than well managed. Jupiter moved into Leo during the voyage over and was opposing Saturn when Land was first sighted.

And, Land was first sighted (according to Wiki) from off the bough or stern whichever end of the ship (the Pinta) at 2 am on Oct. 12, 1492.

At 2 am, Mars was just rising over the Ascendant conjunct Lilith. Lilith is always there. (Wonder what kind of crazy looking Mermaid was pinned to the fronts of those boats.) Mars was trining Neptune in the 4th House. So, if you're ever out at Sea and looking for land, feel free to play your Nintendo, or take a leak, or chat with your buds until Mars rolls around over the Ascendant. No sense standing there staring all day and seeing nothing. And bring your Night Goggles. Don't know how this guy managed to see Land in the middle of the night.

The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto were all conjunct the North Node in Scorpio. What a wild combination for a bunch of Spanish Men who have been cooped up on a boat for 3 months. Those guys were really horny, that's for sure. I don't even want to think what they did to the Native Women once they got on land. Venus was even Retrograde in Scorpio.

So, the innies were in contact with the outies when Land was sighted. The Sun, Mercury, Venus were conjunct Pluto. The Moon was opposing Uranus 25 Cancer. Mars was Rising and trining Neptune.

The Santa Maria was run aground on Christmas Day in 1492. Nasty t-square on that day. Mercury was conjunct Neptune on the Capricorn AP making for spacey thinking. The conjunction was apex to a t-square of an opposition of Moon in Aries to Mars in Libra. It was bound to happen.

Pluto was still conjunct the North Node and along with Venus was still in Scorpio so that's not all that was bound. Columbus kidnapped a bunch of people to take back to Spain. Most died on the ride back.

Interesting that Columbus, a Navigator, was born with Neptune on an Aries Point. And he made his big Discovery when Neptune was on another Aries Point. And everyone on his boat had Syphilis.

Was Pat Tillman's Death an Accident?

Recently I've been really curious to figure out if Pat Tillman's death was really an accident, a case of mistaken identity and "friendly fire" when he was killed while on duty in Afghanistan in 2004. The Military did everything it could to cover something up and to erase all traces of evidence surrounding the incident. They burned his suit, lied to his family, confiscated his diary.

Tillman had a strongly Scorpio chart with 5 planets conjunct the North Node in that sign, and, as an old teacher of mine said, "One thing about Scorpio is certain, they don't have to lead boring lives." At any rate, Scorpio is the most persistent sign, and of all the planets, Scorpio's ruler Pluto is most likely to continue speaking from the grave in order to seek Justice, or even to seek answers. With Mercury conjunct Uranus, the Sun, Mars and the North Node, I suspect that Tillman won't rest until the truth is told.

Justice? well, Justice isn't always available for situations that occur when t.Neptune is squaring the Nodes and the Sun.

So, at any rate, I'm looking at the charts. A long time ago I looked at Tillman's chart and at that point I remember seeing some sort of Chironic influence working for Tillman at the time. Have noticed before that Chiron seems to be involved when wrongs are committed against the innocent but that's only a guess of mine. If I'm using a close enough time for the event of Pat Tillman's death, Chiron would have been in the 3d house, sort of interesting considering that the word "fratricide" is the word used by Tillman's family for the reason that they suspect his death was covered up.

The comparison charts hook up very strongly along the Taurus/Scorpio pole. I will try to look mainly at the event chart to see if it can describe whether or not this was an accident or intentional.

Rex Bills says that in Astrology Accidents are ruled by Mars and Uranus. Mistakes are ruled by Uranus with Pluto, which is Mars' higher octave.

When looking for a mistake one would expect to see these planets in hard aspect with each other which they are not doing directly in this chart. However, Pluto and Uranus rule two angles, the 1st House and 4th House of the Event Chart, so their presences are signifant in describing the root of the situation (Uranus) and people involved.

A whole lot of Tillman's natal chart is layered over the Ascendant/Descendant Axis of the event chart. His Nodal Axis, describing situations surrounding Destiny, was in opposition to itself, which would have indicated that he would have been pulled into an intense encounter surrounding his Fate at that time. It also would have indicated a time of confusion for him related to his destiny. Both the natal and transiting Nodal Axis was in the sign of Taurus and Scorpio which Komilla Sutton has said is the most complex and difficult of the Nodal Axes to live out. With Scorpio North Node, Tillman would have been getting sucked into deeper and deeper crises while being pulled through life. Scorpio is tenacious and focused and often offends and then wants revenge. Interesting that Tillman's South Node (path that one is pulling away from) is in Taurus, the sign of money. Tillman gave up a lucrative sports career in order to defend his country, and then was apparently began to fight the corporate (Pluto) mind of what the Government was actually doing in fighting these wars.

As Tillman's Sun-Mercury-Uranus-Mars stellium is conjunct his North Node he is shown strongly in the Ascendant of the Event Chart. Supposedly he was shot in the head 3 times from within a very short distance. That's directly expressed by the fact that his natal Mars was passing over the Ascendant because both Mars and the Ascendant are related to Aries, the sign that rules the Head. (It's a little confusing but I believe that the coroner suspected Murder in his case, something which the military denies.)

Mars is out of orb for conjunction with Uranus but the two are connected through the stellium. And both planets are in the sign of Scorpio which is ruled by Pluto. So the obvious rulers of "Mistakes" and "Accidents" -- Mars, Uranus and Pluto -- are shown in Tillman's natal chart and are passing over the Horizon at the time of his death.

Layered over this are both the Event Nodal Axis and Tillman's natal Axis. And in the sign of Taurus and Scorpio the problems won't be easy ones to solve. That's not good since Pluto rules Death and Pluto connected with Mars rules murder. With Uranus connected an Accident would be likely, or at least a sudden shocking event that no one was expecting.

Kind of weird that as a victim Tillman is represented by the Ascendant and not by the Descendant but I'm not all that great at understanding how to read event charts. And I always like to keep a lose interpretation of which end of an axis is playing itself out since they seem to always be playing a balancing act with each other.

Looking again at the event chart, we notice that the chart ruler is Pluto (Death, Sex, Taxes). Pluto is placed in the 2d House at 23 Sagittarius and it is conjunct Tillman's natal Venus at 21 Sagittarius. It is also opposing a conjunction of t.Venus and Mars and Lilith in the 8th House (event chart). Death and Murder. Mars-Pluto contacts are often related to murder and rage. So are Venus-Pluto contacts, also involved in deep resentments. (Lilith was there as well which is never a good sign, in mythology Lilith killed her own children to get back at her husband, or some story like that). The Gemini Moon was just passing out of the 8th House and into the 7th House and was still within conjunction of the 8th House cusp. The Moon adds to the rage aspect.

3 of these elements directly rule "women" so I'm really confused by the chart. Was a woman involved? 8th house rules Secrets as well. Moon can rule "The Public". Venus can rule "Diplomatic Relationships" "Envy". And Mars rules "Military." And Lilith just sort of adds an element of "Whack out" to whatever it touches.

Also sort of interesting is trying to figure out whether the death was a case of Mistaken Identity or "Fratricide." Gemini rules the 8th House of Death and Motives and literally rules Fraternity through its sign description. Also, Tillman's natal Mercury and Sun are in conjunction to the degree and conjuct the Ascendant. Saturn rules the 3d house cusp (event chart) and Chiron (wounded healer-teacher) is placed in that house.

Interesting how Taurus/Venus/2d House rule possessions and Tillman's armor and possessions (such as his diary) were burned almost immediately after his death which is really, really weird (and totally damning, imo, there's really no need to waste time on the astrology).

Messing things up more is Neptune. Neptune is the smoke screen of the zodiac and makes everything unclear. And Neptune is conjunct the IC in the event chart and squaring the Nodal Axes/ASC-DESC axis and the Sun and all the Sun's buddies. The IC or 4th House cusp rules the end of life. Neptune would rule cover-ups.

The IC can literally just plain old rule the environment describing the event and there may have been low and unclear visibility. Mistaken identity? Perhaps nobody really saw, or wanted to see, what happened. Neptune rules denial.

Interesting that Tillman's Saturn in Leo is opposing this transiting Neptune. Saturn in Leo is an excellent indicator of the military as Saturn rules Authority and Government and Leo rules Generals and Leaders. Considering that his natal Sun in Scorpio square to Saturn in Leo was placed directly over the Ascendant and Midheaven, Tillman, may have behaved in an overly commanding way.

Interesting that Tillman was born with a major aspect trine aspect between Saturn and Neptune natally as well. This mirrors the way that his natal Saturn is opposed by t. Neptune and squared by the Nodal Axes in the event chart. I keep wondering if major events don't happen to a person when major outer planet aspects in the sky mirror major outer planet aspects in the natal chart.

So who's represented by the Taurus Descendant? That would indicate the guy holding the gun I suppose. Since he's on the Descendant this shows that he felt he was being approached and attacked. This brings in Venus once again. Tillman was going through a Venus opposition that was connected to a Mars-Pluto opposition. That reinforces his vulnerability to a violent act at the time.

Tillman's natal Venus is conjunct his n.Neptune and so trining his Saturn. This adds another tie into the Saturn-Neptune aspect which is probably key for understanding what's going on here.

And that's a problem because Saturn and Neptune working together is a sign of martyrdom. It's a great aspect for artists and philosophers but not for warriors.

So, this hasn't clarified anything. When I see strong Scorpio to Neptune squares I assume that someone is lying. Those two working together generally show a big lie and a big cover-up. I hope that eventually the real story may come out and someone is held accountable.

Hopefully it wouldn't cause more harm than good for the truth to be known. That's one of the selling points for why this kind of aspect exists.

Barbara Brennan

Right now, I'm listening to a cassette of some lectures that Barbara Brennan gave back in the early 1990s. Brennan has been one of the leaders in the Intuitive Healing movement and it's always inspirational to listen to such inspiration and I'm in need of inspiration right now. When I'm listening to recordings in the car the speaker must compete not only for my undivided attention (impossible) but must also speak over the road noise. Fortunately my player goes into auto rewind mode and I have to let a single tape run a few times through before I can begin to even listen. In addition to that I self-profess that although I have from time to time been involved in a healing I have no natural ability for any kind of healing class as I'm a very jealous, resentful & bitter person (and justly so, the stories I could tell). At any rate, I'm no Barbara Brennan and will never hope to be. I still like to expose myself to these styles of existence because they are definitely among the best that the World has to offer. And, of course, I have the Gemini Rising and the 3d House Mercury so I'm perpetually curious about just about everything. And while listening to the tapes I was obsessively itching with that burning question, "What's her sign?" I forced myself to finish at least 2 tapes before looking it up. I knew that Uranus and Neptune would have to be prominent, those are the signs of a miracle worker, but I was detecting a Taurus tinge of something... (Uranus and Neptune right, Taurus ... well, maybe not).

Without a birth time it's impossible to know what Barbara Brennan is astrologically. The noontime chart for her birth date is so close to the Aquarius/Pisces cusp that it's impossible to say whether she's an Aquarius Sun or a Pisces Sun. If born in Wisconsin (I'm not sure of birth place) the Sun passed into Pisces between 7am and 8am!

And it's the same thing with her Moon! At noon her Moon is placed at 5 Pisces! She might have a new Moon in Aquarius. Or she might have a New Moon in Pisces. Or she might be an Aquarius Sun with Pisces Moon just like Dick Cheney. Wouldn't that be weird and a major reason to quit astrology!!!

Barbara Brennan

Well, anyway. These two signs rule Intuitive abilities and Psychic Abilities so I suppose the chart is right on track either way.

The rulers of both signs are set off prominently in Brennan's natal chart as well. Neptune is unaspected at 23 Virgo, which gives great prominence into the combined areas of Psyche and Health. And Uranus is a singleton in the Fixed Sign, in Taurus, and conjunct Brennan's South Node in Taurus. Her North Node is in Scorpio, showing a destiny which wants to delve deep into the cosmic goo.

I read an interview with Brennan (and, sorry, lost the link) in which she describes that she had been working as a Physicist for NASA when in the early 70's two things led her into the woo-woo. The first was watching civil rights riots from a roof top in Washington DC. Talk about an out of body experience. The second was a car accident which led her to seek alternative forms of healing. (That will literally throw you out of your body). The riots and the car accident seemed very Uranus/Mars so I had to look at the progressions to see if these planets were connected with her transformation. And the findings were very interesting.

First off, transiting Pluto would have passed over her natal Neptune in Virgo a couple of years before, in the late 60s. So she may have been having an ego wipe out of some sort. These two are meant to create a great psychic awareness. They can, in Noel Tyl's apt terms, also bring an Ego Wipe Out. Basically most people won't "go there" unless there is some serious loosening up.

Secondly, she would have been just past her Saturn Return in Aries (there's some Mars action) in the early 70s. That's a time in life when one evaluates one's accomplishments and decides on the next course of action.

The progressions that come right after this are very powerful. Brennan's progressed Sun passed into Aries around 1970 and was squaring her progressed Mars in first degrees of Capricorn. This square stayed in effect all through the early 70s. So there's the Mars stuff: the riots, and the car accident. This square (challenge) happened on the Aries Points which indicates events that will lead to coming before the public.

Another relevant progression is Progressed Mercury which was slowly changing direction and turning Retrograde from 1971 to 1973. It was in the sign of Aries as well and it was conjunct Brennan's natal Saturn. Mercury literally rules cars. Saturn rules breaks. Saturn in Aries is not well placed. It combines Saturn with the energy of Mars, a combination which has been referred to as trying to drive with the brakes on. How interesting what a difficult Mercury, Mars, Saturn conbination can bring out of a Uranus and/or Neptunian type of person.

It's really interesting to observe that an Rx Mercury was taking place as Brennan's new career took off because normally this is considered to have a difficult effect on communications. She may have sort of gave up on the verbal, day to day stuff and found that it led to something bigger. Retrogrades can be very creative (or frustrating) and make a person rework and rethink things. On the other hand, she describes in that interview how she actually switched from studying Outer Space to Studying Inner Space. This transfer from Outer to Inner is perfectly described by a strong progression over the Aries Point where the end of the Astrological Wheel swings around to meet the Beginning. The Ouroboros is the ancient symbol for a healer as well!

So, just for fun, I also had to look at Brennan's chart to see what it's going to be doing for the 2012 thing. I just get really curious about these kinds of thing. I mean, if, like, you know ahead of time that the Space Ship is going to carry some of us off, you know it's going to have Barbara Brennan on it. I mean, she's practically Sigourney Weaver in that regard.

Will Barbara Brennan be ready for 2012? (tsk, tsk, stupid question). Will she fight the Alien? Will she save the cat?

Well, on 12/21/2012 we have transiting Sun at 1 Capricorn squaring t.Uranus at 5 Aries. This is layered on top of the same spot as where Brennan's progressed Sun-Mars square was when she began her life's work as a healer! Most of the rest of her chart is receiving a conjunction or opposition transit as well.

Laura Ling

This past spring I wrote a blog entry that related the Venus Retrograde transit to the capture of female journalists abroad. Roxanna Barberi has since been released from Iran. Laura Ling and Euna Lee are still in detention in North Korea. They were detained on March 17, were given a trial beginning June 4, and found guilty of crossing the borders illegally on June 8. They were sentenced to 12 years of hard labor in a prison camp. Since the U.S. has no diplomatic ties with North Korea negotiations are particularly difficult. According to Wikipedia, Lee and Ling were reporting on the trafficking of women between the two countries.

I haven't found a birth date for Euna Lee. She is said to be 36 years old and originally born in South Korea. She is a producer for Current TV. I've just found a birth date for Laura Ling. I have no idea if this is the correct date for her, many entries are confusing her birth date with her sister Journalist Lisa Ling (who is a Virgo). If this birth date is correct, Laura Ling is a Sagittarius. That's good. Sagittarians are hardy folk.

Laura Ling's chart is dominated by Fire. She has a conjunction of the Sun, Mars, and Neptune in Sagittarius which is trining her Saturn in Leo. This trine may possibly expand out into a Grand Trine with an Aries Moon but without a birth time it is impossible to know where the Moon's exact placement is but it will definitely be in Aries (assuming that this is her correct birth date).

With this conjunction/stellium in Sagittarius it is easy to understand why Ling would be attracted to adventure, publishing, an independent lifestyle like journalism, especially journalism which involves reporting on affairs in foreign countries. This is anything connected with the sign of Sagittarius.

With the Sun conjunct Mars and the Moon in the sign which Mars rules Ling could be attracted to dangerous situations. She definitely would be a highly idealistic person. And with a Saturn-Neptune trine could be a very compassionate person who is very empathetic towards suffering. Placement of the Moon in her chart could really complicate things if it's placed within a Grand Trine with these planets. The Moon rules Feelings and Emotions. This could be an indicator for rash behavior. But, a Trine also brings a lot of luck in life. Fire can flow into and out of situations easily. The Moon might also oppose Pluto which would turn the Grand Trine into a Kite pattern. This indicates that Luck in Ling's chart will focus itself and not stay self-contained within the chart and the life. But, Moon-Pluto oppositions can show some deep, complicated feelings about attracting resentment from others. Her Scorpio North Node repeats this more complicated theme.

Ling was taken into custody during the long Venus Retrograde transit that occurred this past Spring when Venus was in Aries for a really long time. This could have been hovering over her natal Moon for an extra long time. Venus was also squaring t.Pluto for an extra long time because of the transit. Pluto = Power plays and she and Lee are being used as Pawns in big Politics between North Korea and the United States. Their personal problem just seem to explode out into bigger and bigger issues.

Ling's stellium is really fascinating to study. This conjunction of Sun to Mars and Neptune in Sagittarius is prominent because the three planets are also parallel with each other. Parallels are like mini-conjunctions so this means that the 3 planets try to work together in a Double Whammy conjunction. The Sun and Mars together can be a bit self serving, or at least rash, but in conjunction with Neptune they can be directed towards an idealistic, perhaps not very realistic self expression.

With Neptune's ability to blur boundaries it is interesting that Ling has been jailed for crossing borders into enemy territory in a major International case. Neptune/12th House rules prisons and other institutions. Transiting Neptune and Jupiter are also hanging out over Kim Jong-Il's Sun which is pretty interesting. Ling's Sagittarius Sun and Neptune are represented in literal terms here in his chart.

I was curious to see where this conjunction has progressed to by Solar Arc to see if anything significant was going on there. Yes. With Mars and Neptune and Sun hanging out over this Venus there is an Aura of Danger (Mars), Rashness (Mars), Boldness (Sun-Mars) and Confusion, Hiding, Prisons (Neptune). Capricorn is related to Career and Government and Authority. All these symbols are mashing together into Ling's life. Ling and Lee were apparently covering a story about trafficking of women over the North Korean/Chinese Border. It's almost as if Ling has fallen into the story she was covering, very Neptunian. Sort of almost Alice in Wonderlandish.

In addition to this big Solar Arc Progression, Ling's Secondary Progressed Mercury is also in conjunction with this spot. Mercury rules Writing and also communication. A Retrograde likes to throw curve balls. Ling's Mercury stationed Retrograde back around 2004-5. I wonder if there was somehow a mix-up of communications related to her situation which could show a need to be more circumspect with regards to anything having to do with communications. Supposedly the women were caught because they didn't have information about a military drill that was breaking up in the area.

At any rate, there will be a Total Eclipse in July at the end of Cancer/Capricorn right near the spot where Ling's Venus is at the end of Capricorn. I hope that she will be released before then as this could be very hard on her emotionally. As she is of Chinese descent I dont' understand why the Chinese are not working with the North Koreans to have her and Lee released.

Ling's Progressed Mars is also in Capricorn at 2 degrees. That's the Aries Point which brings a person into the public eye. It is also on the same spot where t.Pluto is. Pluto, of course, brings Fame, but usually a great crisis as well. When Mars and Pluto are together they can bring an element of danger and a need for great self will. This aspect is not relating strongly to Ling's natal chart, it is perhaps echoing a situation that occurred when Pluto transited over natal Mars a few years ago. That would have been around the time that Ling's Prog. Mercury went Retrograde.

One last thing (I can't stop.) Ling's chart doesn't have many squares. That's sort of odd for someone who takes so many risks in her life. Squares bring challenges and obstacles. It is considered good to have a few in the natal chart. Dealing with some internal tension early in life sort of helps one to develop an inoculation against when things go wrong later on. But, perhaps this is what will pull her through this situation. A person with a Grand Square would be tortured out of their minds just because the captors would pick up on their difficult vibe.

I only hope that the U.S. will send a Super Neptunian person over to Korea to try to spring these women. It will take some super charm to get to them out. And I hope they do it quickly.

Birth Data Available for Octuplets' Mom

NCGR has just sent word in their weekly email that Nadya Suleman's birth information is available by way of Pat Tagliatello over at AstroDatabank.com. The information is from a Birth Certificate.

This puts Suleman's Cancer Sun-Saturn conjunction in her 5th House. Well, you can't argue that Cancer Sun in the House of Children isn't fertile. Saturn just wants something to manage and control.

Suleman has Moon conjunct Venus in Virgo in the 7th House opposing her Aquarius Ascendant and squaring her Nodal Axis (NN 29 Scorpio). Guess that points to the Clinical Birth related to Technological Accomplishments. Scorpio North Node indicates the need to have one's tubes tied, in this case, as Scorpio rules genitilia and the North Node is what one should aim for in life. (In addition to other people's money). This Moon is angular and along with her Cancer Sun indicates a very strong need to be in a nurturing relationship.

Pretty interesting is that Suleman has Neptune conjunct her Sagittarius Midheaven and transiting Neptune is now conjunct her Ascendant just as the Octuplets were born. Your Ascendant is your physical appearance and your Midheaven is your reputation and how others see you in your social sphere and family. Suleman has literally manifested some sort of Neptunian vibe no doubt of vicimization that was handed down to her from her Parents (MC). Either way, I'll bet that Neptune rules Octopi as they are deep sea creatures. 8 arms. 8 kids. And Suleman is now called "Octo Mom." Or "Angelina Jolie mimic" -- very Hollywood, very Neptune.

Cancer Suns can't get away with begging the way that Pisces Suns can so this aspect is maybe not the best time to be trying to ask for handouts from the public, evidentally. This is certainly how people see her. Other people can have Octuplets and be given Pampers up the Yin Yang, but not Single Women. Don't know why Suleman didn't grasp this. Final Dispositor in her Chart is her Mercury. And as I said in a previous post, her progressed Venus went Retrograde in 2000 right when she started going off the wall with having kids. Venus in Virgo is not well placed and the Retrograde can really turn into crazy cat lady mentality pretty fast.

Sagittarius is generally not viewed as a nurturing type of female and nobody really knows what to make of Neptune in contact with it and this is how Suleman is being viewed. Sagittarius can be a bit narcissistic. But, Sagittarius and Aquarius are known as the signs of Independence in Relationships...

How Many Kids Can You Cram Into A Shoe?

A California woman, Nadya Suleman, has given birth to 14 children via in vitro fertilization. On Jan. 27, 2009 she gave birth to the first surviving set of Octuplets. This is the last set of kids that she can have due to her age so she loaded them all in all at once.

Well, they say that Aquarians like to do things in groups so maybe the astrology partly explains the babies' good health -- they simply enjoyed being born together in a crowd. With 4 planets in Aquarius, 3 in Capricorn and 2 in Pisces these kids will grow up to be highly intelligent, probably nuclear physicists who can grow up to build some really cool new age bombs as a way of dealing with their frustration.

Mom says that she never recovered from her lonely childhood as an only child. So, she's decided to have an even lonelier adulthood as a single Mother. Right on. People are commenting on the money she won from a law suit where she was beaten by a patient at a Mental Hospital where she worked. People are commenting on what looks like several plastic surgeries. The State Medical Board is investigating her Doctor who obviously has a bigger problem. Guess she was in a hurry to have all her remaining eggs implanted before the Age 34 cut off date when she would no longer be able ti have them implanted. She split up with her husband in 2000 and divorced him in 2007.

Well, this chart has the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception all over it. The Sun and Moon and South Node are all in Aquarius. The kids were born between two Aquarius Eclipses. Mom is indicated by Moon. The Moon in the kids' charts is conjunct Neptune.

Mercury is Retrograde which indicates to me being born into a situation for which there really are no words. Mercury is in Capricorn along with Mars and Pluto. Interesting that Capricorn is the sign which traditionally is thought to rule Fatherhood and these children are born without a Father. Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, is a Handle figure in the Bucket Shaped charts of the kids who were born by Ceasarian section within 5 minutes of each other. The Mother's reasons for wanting to have so many children are said to be rooted in her lonely childhood as a single child. Don't know how she justifies having 14 kids as a single Mother, nothing seems more lonely to me but maybe now the media tents and vans parked outside her home 24/7 are keeping her company.

Really, this isn't about the kids, it's about the Mom. Wikipedia now has provided a birth date for her. By interesting coincidence she's born about a month after Angelina Jolie. She's a Cancer Sun like me. Hate it when this happens. The little water bearers will have to hold their Watery mom up their whole lives.

Right off the bat the chart shows why Suleman is lonely. She has Sun conjunct Saturn in Cancer squaring Jupiter-Chiron 23-28 Aries. Naturally there is a sense of being alone and having to be more responsible than others. The Cancer-Saturn thing can show an ego desire to control. This woman might prefer to give birth without a Father around with whom she has to share anything. Sun square Jupiter might have a problem with overdoing things as Jupiter rules excess and Sun rules Confidence. A Cancer Sun combined with a Scorpio North Node share a possessiveness that might not be considered healthy.

Suleman's Venus is at 1 Virgo. Venus rules a woman's method of showing love. In Virgo it is not considered an easy placement. Venus in Virgo wants to love through hard work and analysis. Since she's given birth to an entire childcare center's worth of kids this woman is fulfilling her Venus. This Venus is squaring (challenging) the Nodal Axis, with North Node at 30 Scorpio, a destiny filled with deep dark yearnings and maybe a few misplaced motives.

Interesting that Suleman has a natal Saturn-Uranus square which is reflected in the current opposition between these planets. The natal chart actually has a t-square involving Jupiter at 23 Aries is involved in a t-square opposing Uranus 29 Libra and squaring Saturn 23 Cancer. With Saturn as apex planet there is again emphasis on Fatherly, parenting control issues. SAturn and Uranus are forever bound together in myth as the struggle with Fatherhood.

Can't place Suleman's Moon without a time of birth. The Noontime chart gives a Leo Moon. If later in the day it will be conjunct the Virgo Venus. With all this drama I assume she's got a Leo Moon but who knows?

Interesting that this chart has no out of bounds planets and no singleton, if Moon is in Leo and not in Virgo. People comment on how sane this woman seems. She doesn't seem out of balance but look at what she's actually done. She's probably going to be able to provide for her children through all the media attention and through the help of her mother so maybe she's not nuts.... Mercury in Suleman's chart is at 30 Gemini. This is on the Cancer Aries Point and Cancer is the sign of Motherhood and Families. Gemini likes to do things in multiples and has been receiving extra attention from the opposition of transiting Pluto (Planet that rules Fame on the point of the chart that rules Fame in Family matters).

Suleman's story shows up really well in her progressed planets. Progressed Sun is traveling through Leo, sign of creativity and children and fun. She's certainly putting a dramatic spotlight on those areas of life. Her history shows that 1999 was a year of major change for her. Her parents divorced and she was injured during a riot by the patients while working at a Mental Hospital on Sept. 18, 1999 Norwalk, CA. Her back was hurt and she hasn't worked since. At the time she was married and was separated from her husband in 2000. It is said that she has since suffered from Depression, all along having in vitro fertilization. Can't remember for sure but I think she had 3 miscarriages and then gave birth to her other children after this time. Can't imagine giving a woman with this much hormonal stuff anti-depressants but modern medicine is really going out on to some stupid limbs these days. Her doctors are being investigated and it will be interesting to see if they are held responsible for any of this. I know I've got a skewed impression, but, sorry, I was raised by a single mother....

Matching the Progressions up with Suleman's events is what's really interesting. For one, her progressed Mars (natally at 8 Taurus and apex of a Yod to a Neptune-Pluto sextile) is at 30 Taurus. This is conjunct her South Node. Mars rules Men in a woman's life. It also rules children and especially boys.

Her progressed Venus, feeling of being loveable, started moving Retrograde in 1999 which would indicate feelings of inadequacy in that area, something which is already described by the insecurities of the Venus in Virgo placement. This is when her parents divorced. And it is when she was involved in a mass riot in a mental hospital and is the year before she separated from her husband. This aspect alone is enough for reading all of her problems. Those damn Doctors need to take a quick class in secondary progressions...

Suleman's progressed Sun is currently at 21 Leo. This could be in conjunction with her natal Moon. It certainly explains the need to surround herself with a circus. And middle degrees Fixed Signs were hit by a big Eclipse-Grand Square aspect in August, 1999 (I believe, memory?). This would have hit her progressed Sun pretty squarely. And, of course, it is being hit by the current series of Aquarius/Leo eclipses.
