Who's My Mummy?

Okay, so that's a cliche title for this post but, hey, talk about returning to the womb. There's a bunch of 5000 year cycles. The Mayans had a 5,200 year cycle which is going to end next year. There are 4 ages of 1250 which adds up to 4800 years, maybe, maybe not depending on whether or not I can do math. Scientists have all kinds of theories about cycles and the tides. Here's a bunch. I can't read it because of all the techno verbage but maybe somebody else can. It's looks like astrology to me but don't tell the scientists that.

Then there's the German couple who went hiking in the Italian Alps 20 years ago and found what they thought was the body of a dead hiker. Turns out the body was 5000 years old and very well preserved.

Sun 26 Virgo; Moon Capricorn or Aquarius; NN 16 Capricorn. This was in trine to Mercury in Virgo. Mercury in Gemini rules Hikers. I guess Mercury in Virgo rules Hikers who find Mummies.

The Sun was squaring the Galactic Center. That's kind of trippy but it happens pretty often, 4x a year.

Neptune and Uranus were in conjunction with the North Node in Capricorn. Uranus stationed direct that day. Capricorn rules all things old and, well, remarkably well preserved. It always helps to have a lot of earth in your chart, it just means that you're in sync with the dirt and the gravitational pull and the red hot magma in the center.

Pluto was in his own sign, Scorpio. A little phoenix rising up out of the ashes kind of thing from old Italian Mummies.

Saturn was at 1 Aquarius Rx.

This means that Saturn and Uranus were in mutual reception in each others' signs. Out with the old and in with the new, or, whoops, forget those rules: Here's something really, really old that you've never seen before.

Aquarius is related to history because he rules cycles and circulatory systems and surprising finds up in the Alps. Can you imagine listening to 5000 years of nothing but yodeling? I can't think of anything worse, no offense, Astrodienst.

Who Gets Burned During the Witch Hunt?

What with the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception ending I think we are pretty finishing up our interstellar understanding of how the collective unconscious works. Everyone has gathered round and now everyone's waking up and realizing that they don't really like each other.

So, just out of curiosity I wanted to check out some good old American Witch trials to see what might indicate some bad sided versions of what is supposed to be a good thing, the collective unconscious, because, frankly, I like a little control here and there (Capricorn Moon) when everyone comes together and agrees with the collective. I have to also say that I don't like mass mentality at all.

The Salem Witch Trials occurred in 1692 in Salem Massachusetts. There are probably some really great interpretations out there on the Internet which I hope to look up some day but haven't quite yet.

During the Summer of 1692, 19 people were put to death. Historians now say that this was probably not due to their dealings with the devil but their financial abilities, the collective unconscious was jealous of their money. Pluto anyone? Pluto does as much good as he does bad, he just is generally remembered for the bad because he's the silent type and generally doesn't brag about his successes.

Interesting that in 1692 there was a Saturn (Authority) opposition to Uranus (Crowds) crossing the Gemini / Sagittarius pole. I suppose one could say that gossip/slander/opinions/beliefs were at the root of this problem. In June when the trials began the Sun passed over Uranus in Gemini along with Jupiter, Chiron and Mercury Retrograde. It could have been a good year if Chiron hadn't been in there maybe.

So, like the current past year, Jupiter was in conjunction with Uranus and opposing Saturn.

At that point, Neptune was at 20 Pisces in its own sign. People were confused. You can't ever figure out who the witches really are during a heavy Neptune transit. People were freaked out by anything they may not have understood. And this is where Pluto comes in. Pluto needs to be powerful.

Pluto was just at the end of Cancer, passing into Leo. That point is probably connected with conformity and clansmanship and emotional excess/romanticism/sentimentality (those are the negative interpretations, there are always positive interpretations). People are learning about how and with whom to place their loyalties. There's a sense that things have to be nice, but in an childish, sand boxish kind of a way. Pluto brings changes (I won't say lessons) in how power is handled so that growth may occur. This was a big oopsy moment. I really wonder which Sun Signs were most likely to be barbqued under this aspect. Wikipedia doesn't include birth dates of the victims. About 150 people were arrested. 19 were found guilty.

Mars and Venus were in conjunction pretty much the whole time in the signs of Leo and Virgo. That's a really interesting conjunction to think about in connection with a Witch Hunt and I can't really explain it but I think a hooker could.

Neptune's cycle takes 165 years to pass around the astrological wheel. Neptune was discovered in 1846 during his next pass in to his own sign.

The Communist Manifesto was published at that point (please see Adrian Ross Duncan's article about Neptune in Pisces (he's such an excellent astrologer and writer: http://www.world-of-wisdom.com/blog/neptune-in-pisces/33/). This was the good side of Neptune, the Civil Rights side.

Neptune's last pass through Pisces in the United States contains the last years of Slavery before the Civil War. Neptune rules Slavery. So at that time the good side of Neptune was also playing out in the U.S. The War didn't happen until Neptune passed into Aries, though. Neptune prefers hangings, poisonings, and big regrets. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and, in the art world at least, you can always count on the Pisces to get really bored with "same old, same old." They have a great sense of what's not working. It is the sign which signifies "Letting Go" For those of us who aren't good at letting go, Neptune moves in and clouds things up for a time so that we just in the end wake up one day and wonder what the hell just happened.

It's been another 165 years and Neptune will pass into Pisces next Month once again. We can maybe purchase a gas mask over the Internet. Hope we're not heading into any more Witch Trials, ehrrr.

World of Wisdom says that psychics will be in demand. I sort of think it's a good time to keep the psychic thing on the down low. Don't confuse people. Just be the first to say that nothing's working and we need something new. If you really want to succeed in life grow some pot (not really, that's a joke, I hate the stuff). This will be a time when people could be thinking there's just not enough Love to go around. The psychic stuff just can be a little annoying.

I looked up the McCarthy Era which was the last great American Witch Trial. This occurred because of Political paranoias and in-tolerance rather than Religiosity. J.Edgar Hoover was doing some pretty crazy stuff in order to keep things under control. He was a Capricorn so the Sun Sign astrology works out pretty well here with the control and authority symbology.

What does this mean? The U.S. seems to enjoy Pluto in Leo in which to celebrate its Witch Hunts? Well, Pluto was again in Leo. I wonder if this is because due to its orbit Pluto has to spend so much time in Cancer and Leo, it just sort of bends in on itself, the power thing.

Wikipedia lists a bunch of names of people who were black-listed during that era and I just had to look up their Sun Signs -- Gemini Rising? People's lives were wrecked just because somebody had a bad feeling about them and decided to tattle.

For my own curiosity I checked out which signs got into trouble. Who was accused of being a Communist? "The List." Amazing. By a long shot the people who got black-listed were Aries, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces. (4 birth dates weren't available through Wikipedia so this isn't a complete list).

Which Signs fared the best? Who are the folks who can sail through a mass lynching and not get tagged? Pretty interesting. Leo. Virgo. Libra. Aquarius. The innocent bystanders of the Zodiac. Well, maybe Leo's not really known for taking a neutral stance. But, when Pluto's transiting over your Sun the ball is in your court. You might be forced to fly the plane. The other 3 signs, Virgo, Libra and Aquarius are very good at maintaining neutrality. They're the pros.

The rest of the signs, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer and Capricorn were in the middle of the road regards accusations. And, as I said, J.Edgar Hoover was a Capricorn.

I should have paid more attention to what Chiron was doing. I think he is often very connected with being accused of things one hasn't done.

Viktor Schauberger

This post is probably about the guy who invented flying saucers! That's right, June Lockhart, if the United States Air Force hadn't confiscated this guy's papers maybe he could have finished his design and the Jetsons Cartoon hour would have become reality. (We won't discuss the Global Warming "embarassment"). Schauberger knew all along that modern 20th century carbon based machinery knocks everything out of balance.

Schauberger was a forester who grew up under a tree in Austria. He was fascinated by the way that streams and creeks flow. He used his first observations on nature to figure out ways to transport logs down streams in ways which saved huge amounts of transportation money for the foresters. He developed a theory that "nature creates vortices to create equilibria." As 4th House/Cancer rules drains I guess the astrology is right on target. Schauberger developed theories about the structure of water. He said it is densest when cold and also just after the Full Moon. Interesting because he himself was born just after a Full Moon. I'm getting and probably misinterpreting his theories from the blurb on Wikipedia so go there for a better explanation. There is a great movie by Caleb Coates about Schauberger's theories. The first part has an incredible explanation about how Trout live perfect lives just because of how they are shaped. They can let the current of the water flow right past them in perfect waves while they remain motionless. All they have to do is open their mouths in order to let the algae and plankton food come right into them. It's one of my all time favorite scenes from a documentary.

As the Wikipedia article says, Schauberger felt that "nature creates vortices to create equilibria." I was looking for Libra influence in his chart and didn't notice anything outstanding. However, his North Node is at 30 Virgo. This means that it had just finished an entire transit of Libra so he was perhaps born with a special amount of knowledge in all things Libra. It is also conjunct Uranus which shows an ability to be very innovative. And this is still considered an Aries Point which brings public prominence to whatever expression he uses of that energy.

Schauberger was trying to figure out ways to create effortless natural motion. This hooks into his natal chart and the transits of his life perfectly as Schauberger was born during a very powerful trine aspect. He was born during the big 19th century conjunction of Neptune to Pluto so he was part of a generation that was given an abnormal amount of information about all things mysterious and beyond understanding of normal human behaviors. These are the two outer most "Planets" in the solar system (well until recently). They are also the only two planets which human beings can never experience an entire cycle of in their lifetimes.

Neptune 25 Taurus c. Pluto 3 Gemini was trining an exact conjunction of Uranus to the North Node at 30 Virgo in Schauberger's chart which I talked about earlier. Uranus rules innovation and Virgo is an earth sign known for exceptional abilities in technology and understandings of how things work. This trine may actually expand out into a Grand Trine with Schauberger's natal Aquarius Moon. How's that for an innovator of working with "effortless natural motion" and the structure of water and how things flow and really incredible understandings of how to work with, not against, Nature? If you want to understand how to make things move, don't build a motor (Mars), let them flow in the direction that works best. Yay! Come on Americans, work this!

Okay, I don't have a time for his Moon but it will be in Aquarius.

So, it appears that Schauberger fell in with a bad crowd. Namely, he fell in with Hitler. Grand Trines can make a person a little too trusting. I've seen them come up in the charts of spies, however, because they can usually help a person get out of whatever he gets in to.

According to Wiki, Schauberger first met Hitler in 1934. So perhaps he willingly fell in with Nazi ways of thinking at first, eventually he was forced to work for them. Maybe at that point Hitler was interesting. The Swastika was originally an ancient symbol for something I don't know what. It looks like things got weird really fast, however, and by Schauberger was sent to a mental hospital in 1941 where he was incarcerated. He was forced to design for the Nazis after that. In 1944 he had designed something called a Repulsine which is basically a UFO. In 1945 he designed a Klimator which was to cool and warm air in living spaces.

After the war the U.S. kept Schauberger in custody for 9 more months. At that point they and the Russians confiscated his papers and prototypes. The timing hooks up too beautifully with the U.S. interest in UFOs. The War ended 1945. The U.S. Air Force set up various projects which studied Unidentified Flying Objects from 1947 to 1969. These were called Project Sign, Project Grudge, and Project Blue Book. Kenneth Arnold (I wrote about his sightings in a previous blog post) reported the first sighting of a UFO at Mount Rainier, Washington on June 24, 1947. The guy who was in charge of Project Blue Book was also a Cancer. It looks like Cancers have a natural fascination with the vortices. I guess also that Pluto's transit over their Cancer Suns early in life gave them a little extra oomph in occult understandings.

So, back to Schauberger's natal chart. Mercury 13 Cancer is out of bounds in his natal chart at 24 degrees 25 minutes. This says that there is something exceptional in his thinking processes. His memory would have been really long, it would have gone all the way back to the big bang probably. Mercury is conjunct Sun 9 Cancer. Both of these would have passed over Venus 25 Cancer by progression early on. Perhaps this is why he began to understand the need to keep things in balance early on. He has no planets in Fire in his chart, perhaps this explains why he has such an interest in motion and speed and expense of energy.

So then the yucky. Here comes Hitler. Schauberger was born with no planets Retrograde. That's sort of unusual but also indicates that he didn't have to doubt himself much early on and can lead to great leaps of creativity. Schauberger's Mercury Stationed Retrograde in 1935 the year after he met Hitler. This was at 19 Virgo. (Remember, he's got that conjunction of Uranus-NN on the last degree of Virgo.) This will show that something is slowing down in his mental processes. In his case "slowing down" could be interpreted in really interesting ways. Either way, his judgement and ability to express himself clearly might not have been at peak performance. Also, his progressed Sun was at 26 Leo which is squaring his natal Neptune-Pluto conjunction over the Taurus-Gemini cusp. Sun squares to Neptune-Pluto? OO-boy, that's just a tough one. By 1941 he was halfway through creation of his UFO. He was also sent to a mental institution. Considering the progressions, he may have been acting oddly, but wouldn't you be acting oddly as well if this is the type of stuff you were capable of creating? At any rate, Neptune rules being incarcerated, Pluto:paranoia, so, there you have it.

In 1941 when Schauberger was incarcerated there was a conjunction of Saturn-Uranus at the cusp of Taurus-Gemini (1 degree for Uranus) which was trining a conjunction of Neptune to the North Node at the end of Virgo (22-28 degrees). This is layered right over Schauberger's big natal Trine of Neptune-Pluto to Uranus-NN! In May of that year there was actually a huge stellium in Taurus right over his natal Neptune: Lilith, Mercury, Sun, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus (Jupiter and Uranus right over Neptune).

His progressed Mercury was also Rx in the vicinity of Neptune-NN transit at 18 Virgo along with p.Jupiter at 14 Virgo. And his progressed Sun was exact on natal Jupiter 3 Virgo. That looks lucky?

But, also his progressed Saturn was approaching conjunction with natal Sun by about 2 or 3 degrees. That's the Government intervention stuff. It's also just a snuffing out of the creative energies by selfish authority figures. Perhaps it could also account for the loss of popularity. I mean, the anti-Nazi sentiment after the War had to have hurt this guys' chances. I guess the Rx Mercury could also account for the confiscated papers and stolen ideas by Governments. One can really see how the Outer Planet stuff can mess with a person's inner planet problems.

Schauberger eventually did come to the U.S. to work for a while. It's really frustrating to read his story from the vantage point of more distant future. This is the guy whose road ought to have been taken. Okay, okay, I don't know if all his ideas work. But, can you imagine where we'd be if he'd been able to live in ordinary times?

So, there you have it. Yes, the aliens are out there. But, the humans are as well. Go roll a log down a stream and figure out how to fix Global Warming.

Dr. Franz Halberg - Chronobiology

Now that the Sun has woken up we can perhaps expect more problems with Heart Attacks. At least in Minnesota where Dr. Franz Halberg has spent more than 50 years studying Chronobiology in humans this might be the case. Working at the University of Minnesota Halberg has found that Heart Attacks occur on a 10.5 year cycle which correlates with the Solar Cycle. He has also found significant cycles in human healing relating to 7 days and 1.3 years and others.

A fascinating article about Halberg published in Minnesota Medicine (2005; 88(110); 26) called "Father Time" by Kim Kizer.

Dr. Halberg has doubled the cure rate of cancerous tumors simply by determining the best time to treat the patients. His wife was one of his patients. He has also found that chances for stroke can be greatly reduced by following individual blood pressure fluctuations in patients. Even treatment can be enhanced by following the individual cycles of a human.

have to treat by body times.”

Sun 13 Cancer; Moon Libra; NN 2 Sagittarius

I was looking for the Significance of Saturn in Dr. Halberg's chart, especially to see if Saturn relates to Pluto because I remembered that the guy who created the Atomic Clock had a strong Sun-Saturn-Pluto link. Well, that's wrong of course because we're not looking for Atomic timing (I'm not sure if it really is the Atomic clock, could be something else, is just very precise, I wrote about him somewhere on this blog). Anyway, with Pluto in Capricorn which is Saturn's sign of rulership I guess we will learn all kinds of things about timing and will return to the fine science of direct observation. Halberg has natal Sun in Cancer which is the sign opposite Capricorn and his Sun is conjunct natal Pluto in Cancer. So, that's the Sun-Pluto connection. That shows a caring Doctor who is receptive to his patients' needs (I think they've become obsolete these days) and who also excels at research. And his Saturn is in Leo so it disposits to the Sun.

Natal Saturn is conjunct Venus and is opposing Uranus. Now this makes sense. Uranus rules cycles and circulatory systems. Have to say that I don't understand Venus' relevance here except to say that Halberg has worked his whole life with the women in his family, his wife and his daughters. Venus rules harmonizing, balancing, etc. It's probably a very overlooked planet in researcher's charts.

Much of Halberg's research surrounds illnesses related to the heart which really shows the significance of his Saturn (Timing). He has 4 planets in the sign of Leo. Mercury is conjunct Neptune at the beginning of Leo and Venus is conjunct Saturn at the end of Leo.

Very interesting to observe the progressions of Mercury and the Sun. Because of a Retrograde roughly between the years 1947 and 1970, Halberg' progressed Mercury didn't leave Leo until until 1985. It was in conjunction with the Saturn-Uranus opposition in his chart for much of that time which could explain why he was able to concentrate so strongly on these specific observations. (It's an out of sign opposition, Uranus is at 2 Pisces Rx but has backtracked into Aquarius for his entire life). The progressed Sun passed through Leo for 30 years. It his Mercury-Saturn around 1967-68-69.

The influence of Dr. Halberg's Uranus is further emphasized in his chart as it is the handle of a Sling Chart. Solar Fire distinguishes between sling charts and bucket charts I guess. It looks as if Uranus is set off from the rest of the planets which are within a bundle. Either way, this puts an emphasis on innovation, new thoughts, futuristic thinking and, within the body, the circulatory system and cycles and also the shins and ankles. He also has no planets in Earth. We tend to be attracted to whatever our charts lack and this is perhaps why such a futurist stuck with Western Medicine and Science. It sounds as if nobody is disputing his research, they're just more interested in making pills these days than in figuring out how to administer them. Halberg's Venus is just coming out of Retrograde this year in the sign of Virgo so perhaps the damned AMA will finally come around.

Water Main Break near Boston, Massachusetts

On Saturday Morning a major water main broke and spewed tons of water. 2 million residents have been without potable drinking water. Had to take a quick look at the chart to see if the problems associated with infrastructure as seen by the Saturn-Uranus opposition would show up. It was amazing! I made my first accurate chart off of this thing!

Saturn was at 29 Virgo Rx opposing Uranus at 29 Pisces. Right there shows a problem having to do with public health and water and infrastructure. Jupiter is in conjunction with Uranus showing a problem with excess. This opposition hit the IC/Midheaven exactly at 10:03 am in Weston, Massachusetts where the break occurred. Ic rules underground / MC rules overground. The break was reported at 10:00 am according to this report (http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=10529674).

At that point Cancer was Rising and Pisces was on the Midheaven. Both water signs. Pluto was over in the 6th House of public health, doing the pollution/crisis thing.

No one knows the cause of the break yet. The pipes are relatively news, only 7 years old. But 7 is a number which is related to both Uranus and Saturn. It is about the time of the first Saturn square in the Saturn Cycle. And it is the amount of years it takes for Uranus to run through a sign. Uranus would have been around the end degrees of Aquarius when the pipe was first installed.

Moon, ruler of chart, was in Sagittarius in H6. Disposits to Jupiter adding to the exuberant overflow, so to speak.

Wow, I wonder if the Silicon Valley pipes will ever get fixed. Try washing your clothes in that water, let alone eating food that's been washed in it.

Oil Rig Explosion and Spill in Gulf of Mexico

Oil has been spewing out into the Gulf of Mexico for the past week ever since an Oil Rig exploded. 126 people were on board the rig, all have been recovered except for 11 who are still missing and presumed dead. The Rig sank 2 days after the explosion.

Oil keeps spewing from the pipes which were drilled into the ocean floor and the Spill apparently can't be contained. Jupiter in Pisces?

Attempts were made to set the oil on fire in order to keep it from reaching shore which will cause an environmental catastrophe but these have failed. Reports are now saying that spillage will begin to reach shore tonight.

The conjunction of Jupiter to Uranus in Pisces has been passing over the 4th House and IC around 10:00 pm every night this past month. 4th House = Environment. Pisces = Ocean and Oil and things that can't be contained along with Jupiter. Jupiter-Uranus is opposing Saturn in Virgo Rx. The cause for the spill is thought to be a "Blowout" but is still undetermined.

Please pray that somebody can figure out a way to solve this problem soon.

Oil keeps spewing, can't be contained and will reach shore tonight, Apr. 29, 2010. This is just after the Scorpio Full Moon where Sun was conjunct Mercury Rx to the degree. Moon will be in early degrees Sagittarius tonight which is conjunct the ASC of the explosion.

The Rig was made by Hyundai of South Korea in 2001. Guess you'd expect something made during a Saturn-Pluto opposition to fall apart during a Saturn-Pluto square...

The second worst oil spill of all time also occurred in the Gulf of Mexico back in 1979. Saturn was in Virgo at that point as well (conjunct the North Node).

Links of 3 - Borromean Rings

This seems to be happening a lot for some reason. A thought from 40 years ago is just now being proven. Here's a really cool example from Science. Some Scientist theorized that Quantum Mechanics could prove that in a ring of three, if one ring falls apart, the other two will fall apart as well. It has to do with the energy of the number 515, or multiples thereof. And the article says that the idea was first theorized by Afghanistan Buddhists in the 2d century AD.

So I'm wondering if this is a Saturn-Uranus opposition thing in the signs of Virgo-Pisces. Makes sense that this combination would express itself through a combination of science and mysticism and numbers and the web of life. Rex Bills is out in the car, so I suppose I should look up what is thought to rule the number 3. Saturn?

Yow, well, I was wrong at least in part. I looked up to see what was going on outer planetary wise back in 2d century. It turns out that this is a Pluto thing. Pluto was passing from Virgo to Libra back in those days. This is a Libra AP thing which really makes sense since it studies the interrelatedness of everything.

When physicist Vitaly Efimov heard his theory had finally been proven, he ran up to the younger scientist who had verified it and gave him a high five.

Efimov had predicted a quantum-mechanical version of Borromean rings, a symbol that first showed up in Afghan Buddhist art from around the second century. The symbol depicts three rings linked together; if any ring were removed, they would all come apart.

Efimov theorized an analog to the rings using particles: Three particles (such as atoms or protons or even quarks) could be bound together in a stable state, even though any two of them could not bind without the third. The physicist first proposed the idea, based on a mathematical proof, in 1970. Since then, no one has been able to demonstrate the phenomenon in the lab - until recently.

A team of physicists led by Randy Hulet of Rice University in Houston finally achieved the trio of particles, and published their findings in the online journal Science Express.

Extraordinary Baby Week

So, Cardinal Signs represent new beginnings and maybe we should be expecting a whole lot of interesting new developments over the next couple of years as Pluto and then Uranus are on these points. The Solstice and Equinox points (beginnings of Seasons) may be more vital in Astrological interpretation than usual even.

The birth of a baby would certainly be a new beginning. The Autumn Equinox at Sun at 1 Libra squaring Pluto at 1 Capricorn has certainly brought news about exceptional situations regarding the births of babies this week. Neither of those signs is connected with the births of babies. However, Mars' transit through Cancer which might also be contributing. Unusual and Weird come under the rulership of Uranus which is just finishing up its final opposition to Saturn in Virgo (medical procedures). Both births that I'm talking about here were delivered via caesarian section. Age of the Mothers in both cases, 40 and 41 seems to show problems related to older women having children. This could become an issue with Pluto's presence in Capricorn, the sign of old age.

First story is of a big baby boy was born in Northern Sumatra who was born weighing more than 19 pounds due to his mother's diabetic condition during pregnancy. He has since been given the middle name of "Akbar" which means "big" in Sumatran. "Akbar" was more than 2 feet tall and his cry is said to sound like a lion's roar. This boy is the biggest baby ever born in his country. This is the 4th pregancy for the mother, all the previous births were normal.

Sun 29 Virgo; Moon Libra if born in Morning, Scorpio if born in Afternoon; NN 28 Capricorn Rx

The Sun and Mercury Rx were both in conjunction with Saturn in Virgo. They are also squaring Pluto. Virgo is related to health conditions. The Sun related to Saturn and Pluto can show a difficulty with elimination within the vitality. Saturn and Pluto are also related to extreme proportions in size and scale in the arts, so maybe they can also relate literally to the human body. And a major factor here is Saturn's opposition to Uranus in Pisces.

For a baby born of a very large size it would be really cool to see if the planets that rules large things, which have been in conjunction with each other, were passing over the Ascendant. Jupiter is involved in anything big (expansion) as is Neptune (no boundaries). These two are in conjunction with each other and with Chiron. This would have been passing over the Ascendant around 4 pm Sumatran time. Sure would be interested to know what time "Akbar" was born to see if it corresponds with this passage. The Ascendant, I believe, corresponds with conditions related to an individual's birth.

World's largest baby on record weighed 23 pounds and was born Jan. 19, 1879 to the World's Tallest couple in Seville, Ohio, U.S.

This baby boy passed away 11 hours after birth. Interesting the correspondences with current astrology. Saturn and Uranus were in the opposite signs where they are now but not opposing each other. There was very close to both a Nodal Return (cusp of Capricorn-Aquarius) and a Jupiter Return in Aquarius. Not only that but Chiron was conjunct Neptune (different sign, Taurus then, Aquarius now).

Second strange story: A Fertility Clinic in an unknown midwest town planted the embryo of a Detroit, Michigan couple into the womb of an Ohio woman and discovered their mistake 10 days later.

This happened back in February so perhaps the Solar Eclipse on Jan. 26 and the Lunar Eclipse on Feb. 9 can somehow account for this error.

In Astrological shorthand, Mars and Uranus together represent Accidents and Uranus and Pluto together represent mistakes.

Back in February, the Sun's position in Aquarius would have disposited to Uranus. And Uranus was in opposition to Saturn which would have been exact to the degree on Feb. 5, 2009.

Uranus does things differently. Either way, the Ohio woman brought the baby to term as a surrogate and has handed it over to the Michigan couple with no strings attached. Such a heartful act is also very Uranian, only happens if one can distance one's self mentally from the inner needs. There are a few other instances listed on the Internet of instances when this has occurred and people have made different choices about how to handle the situation.

Uranus also describes the Shock involved around the pregnancy and also the high tech and manmade nature of the artificial insemination procedure. Saturn in Virgo perhaps could indicate problems through medical procedures. (I just went to a doctor yesterday and my records were full of errors so I wonder if this is pretty widespread right now.)

The Saturn Uranus opposition happens every 45+ years. It will make 5 passes of exact opposition during the current opposition cycle.

• The first opposition happened on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2008.
  
• The 2d one happened on Feb. 5, 2009.
• The 3d one happened Sept. 15, 2010. (Amazing how the oppositions correspond by Month to the events related to this accidental pregnancy.
• 4th happens on April 26, 2010 but in different signs, Libra and Aries
  
• 5th happens on July 26, 2010, Libra and Aries
  

An interesting CNN story describes how the couple heard about the mistake. In February, the husband was called around 4pm. At that time either Cancer or Leo would have been rising and the 7th house was loaded. These are the signs related to childbearing and child rearing. The Nodal Axis (destiny) was passing over the 1st/7th Houses with the North Node in the 7th. It would have remained at this spot at 4pm during the entire month of February.

For most of February the North Node was accompanied by Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune. How's that for describing a phone call (Mercury) regarding a Mistaken (Mars in Aquarius) artificial insemination (Uranus?) that will lead to a feeling of martyrdom (Neptune) that will lead to the birth of a baby boy (Mars, Jupiter). The emotional pain and shock that the couple suffered is described in the CNN story quoted below. Because of her age, Carolyn Savage will not be able to conceive another child and is going to have to use a surrogate herself.

"The doctor told me in one sentence, 'Carolyn is pregnant, but we transferred the wrong embryos,'" he said. "I didn't even know that could physically happen. It was a total shock, totally beyond the realm of possibility."

In a tragic mix-up, the Savages say the fertility clinic where Carolyn underwent in vitro fertilization implanted another couple's embryos into Carolyn's uterus.

In essence, she had become an unwitting surrogate for another family.

After receiving the news, Sean hung up the phone and drove straight home to tell his wife in person.

"He walked in and was as white as a sheet," Carolyn said. "He told me, and I think he repeated himself two or three times, and I kept saying 'You're joking.' Incredulity turned to shock, and when that shock melted, so did the couple's hope for having another child of their own. At the time, Carolyn was 39 and her chances of having a child naturally after this one were waning.

"That was the beginning of a very treacherous and emotional journey for us," said Sean.

"I don't think I've ever cried so much in my life," said Carolyn. "It was such a nightmare and, in a way, I felt violated."

More on the Annie Le murder

Here are some observations on the Annie Le case for what they are worth. The only part of my previous reading which was any good was that I said I couldn't figure the situation out.

This murder is clumped into "workplace crime" category rather than domestic, serial, gang, etc. For anything associated with the workplace I'd look for something to come up in the sign of Virgo which rules that aspect. Couldn't see anything like that in Annie Le's natal chart. (Of course with inadequate birth information I have an excuse for that, hehe.)

Le had no planets in Virgo. Her natal Mercury which is ruler of Virgo is in Leo and her progressed Mercury is within that sign. Her solar Arc Mercury is at 29 Leo which is very close to the cusp. Her Mercury afflicted however. It squares natal Pluto opposite natal Lilith. This possibly fans out into a Grand Square through an opposition to Capricorn Moon. Without a birth time I can't know the placement of Le's Moon.

The event chart shows the Virgo influence through the Sun-Saturn conjunction in Virgo (Ego, Walls, Force, Authority, Control). Sun-Saturn is opposing Uranus (Shock, Sudden and Unusual Events).

Through those keywords one can also see how the fact that Le's body was hidden within a wall shows up. Saturn rules Walls.

I happened to run into a County Coroner yesterday (Black outfit with white lettering "Coroner". I gasped when I saw it and she laughed). Had to ask her what her thoughts were on the case. She said that the fact that Le's body was found stuffed into a wall is the most highly unusual aspect of the case. Unusual is Uranus, of course. Wall is Saturn. These two were approaching an exact opposition with each other (approaching within the week) and the Sun was passing over them. Uranus' placement in Pisces also indicates the Hidden Element.

The other most distinct aspect of the case, according to the Coroner was its high profile location. Crimes at an Ivy League school are significant. (I also think that Le's beauty didn't hurt for popularity sake).

For institutions of higher learning we look at the signs of Sagittarius and Jupiter. Jupiter is separating from its conjunction with Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius. Guess it's lucky that this conjunction was most potent this summer when most schools were not in session. On the day that Le was found, Sept. 13, Venus was at 23 Leo opposing Chiron exactly. It would be interesting to know what time she found to see if this axis was on a significant angle.

I suppose this powerful opposition/conjunction may also explain the motive. Police are saying that Le didn't keep her mice cages clean. That's definitely a control freak issue in Virgo type of thing. Pictures of the man being held for the crime show that he was extremely close to his dog. He also had 3 cats. Perhaps Uranus in Pisces shows that he was having trouble working in a medical laboratory which abuses animals on a regular basis. On the websleuth's website there is some speculation that this man is an Aquarius. If Neptune is on or has recently passed over his natal Sun his sensitivity and compassion for anything that suffers would be highly attuned. His ability to cope with reality would also be heavily affected. Supposedly he has a control freaky t-square to his Sun which would complicate things. Google that website for more information.

For motive one always wants to look at Pluto, Scorpio and 8th House. Pluto in Le's natal chart is strongly placed in its own sign of Scorpio at 2 degrees. It's also possibly involved in a very challenging Grand Square aspect with Mercury, Moon, and Lilith. And it was being squared by Le's Progressed Mars at 2 Leo and her progressed Sun 5 Leo. This is an extremely violent aspect. Le had a conjunction of Sun-Mars in Cancer in her natal chart. As I said in my last post on her chart, this can bring violence especially as a victim in a woman's chart. This conjunction had arced by Solar Direction to 5-10 degrees Leo. With recent switch of this conjunction into Leo, Le may have been acting very boldly.

These progressions of Sun-Mars are also widely squaring Le's natal Nodal Axis and the transiting Moon.

I looked also for signs of strangulation in the chart. The throat is ruled by Taurus and by Taurus' ruler, Venus. Le's North Node (Destiny, Life Path) is placed at 15 Taurus. The Moon was passing through Taurus as she died. It was placed at 10 Taurus when she entered the Laboratory building. Of course, if the North Node is placed in Taurus, the South Node will be placed in the sign of Scorpio which rules Murder. In Le's chart her South Node is sandwiched between Pluto and Saturn in Scorpio. This shows extreme force. The South Node is said to be related to past life problems which we are trying to fix in this life. As I've said before, I heard a lecture with Komilla Sutton in which she said that this is the most difficult Nodal Axis to live with just through its associations with difficult behaviors and karmic patterns. Scorpio is also strongly associated with research and medical research in particular.

Murder of Yale Pharmacology Student Annie Le

24-year old Annie Le, a Yale Pharmacology student, disappeared last Tuesday just days before her wedding. After a massive hunt her body was found yesterday apparently stuffed into a basement wall in the school laboratory where she was last seen photographed by security cameras as she entered the building at 10:00 am. This young woman's name is Annie Le. I send condolences to Le's family and friends for this horrible crime. I can't make heads or tails of her murder but am just trying to post aspects which I have found.

born July 3, 1985 (Place? I used Placerville, CA because that's where Le is from, but have no idea where she was born).

Sun 12 Cancer; Moon Capricorn or Aquarius; NN 16 Taurus

Le was born with Sun conjunct Mars in Cancer. This is a very spirited combination, but for a woman it can sometimes show victimization by men, as Mars in Cancer combines the energies of two youthful and emotional planets which conflict with each other and are often involved in crime (see www.bobmarksastrologer.com for great statistical studies about murder). Le's Sun-Mars is trining her natal Saturn in Scorpio which shows that she would have toned down her impulsive nature with discipline.

We've just finished a very emotional and volatile conjunction transit of the Moon to Mars in Cancer in which many people have been reported as acting erratically (Joe Wilson during President's speech, Serena Williams at a tennis match, Kanye West at the MTV awards). This would have affected Le very strongly as it involves a Mars Return for her, which is in the Moon's sign.

At Age 24, Le was also going through a Jupiter Return in Aquarius. Normally I would see this as a very positive set of aspects for someone going to school for higher learning. Jupiter rules Higher Learning and truth seeking (and probably truth finding).

Le has Mars (Impulse, Action) and Jupiter (Opinions, Higher Learning, Religion, etc.) in aspect with each other in a inconjunct aspect (adjustments of elements that don't quite work, health problems) in a couple of different configurations, one a Yod with Uranus in Sagittarius (Jupiter and Uranus are in mutual reception in her chart). This Yod fans out to an even bigger figure (not sure what it would be called) with her natal North Node in Taurus. Uranus (innovation, experimentation, erratic behaviors) is inconjunct with her North Node (life path).

Because of this combination of Mars-Jupiter-Uranus I would sort of assume that an accident or mistake was involved with her death. However, news reports are saying that it looks as if it was intentional.

If Le had a Capricorn Moon and not an Aquarius Moon then both her Jupiter and Uranus are singletons which means that this Yod figure further stands out in her chart. As Karen Hamaker Zondag describes them in her book on the Yods, they can show generational family problems that an individual must deal with. All 3 of these aspects point to someone who has a strong need for independence. It's very odd that she was planning on getting tied into a marriage at this point in her life.

Another disturbing aspect was transiting Pluto was conjunct Le's natal Neptune. Pluto is at 2 Scorpio in her natal chart sextile Neptune at 2 Capricorn. Pluto right now is at 1 Capricorn right on her natal Neptune. That can generally be a difficult transit. There is just too much strange, unconscious information coming into a person with regards to the universe. Neptune and Pluto working together can often bring about a crisis of a spiritual nature. Both planets can cause a person to become extra paranoid, go on drugs, etc. As both planets are very psychic, Le may also have had a premonition that something would happen to her.

With a Jupiter in Aquarius Return it's very interesting that her death happened on a college campus as Jupiter rules Higher Learning. Aquarius co-rules technology and the sciences.

She may have discovered some awful truth (Jupiter in Aquarius Return) regarding her College Professor (Jupiter, I heard that a Professor is being questioned in the case already). Either way it looks like Saturn-Neptune and Pluto were conflicting in some game against Mars-Uranus-Jupiter in Le's chart.

Le could possibly have had a Grand Square between Mercury, Pluto, Moon and Lilith. This shows some challenges to overcome concerning Heart and Mind and Home and Power plays.

As regards the Marriage plans, I've already said that this looks like a weird time to be getting married. 7th House rules marriage and without a natal chart I can't say anything about that. Le's natal Venus is at 28 Taurus and has progressed to 27 Gemini. Gemini is a duplicitous sign.

The Sun has been passing over Saturn which is opposing Uranus. Again it would be interesting to see if Le had these degrees of Virgo/Pisces prominent on angles in her natal chart. The Saturn-Uranus aspect is very strongly aspected. The transit of Saturn-Uranus is aspecting her natal and Solar Arc Uranus very strongly. In her natal chart, Venus widely opposes Saturn in Scorpio. This has arced by progression (solar arcs) so that SA Saturn is exactly conjunct natal Uranus in Sagittarius, thus mirroring the opposition of these two in the current transits.

The current transit of Sun-Saturn in Virgo opposing Uranus in Pisces is actually squaring natal Uranus-SA Saturn opposing SA Venus!

Sorry I can't describe all that techno mumbo jumbo better. I also can't interpret it very well. Virgo-Pisces is definitely related to health issues. Saturn-Uranus is often related to transitional, hybrid types of solutions to problems. There seems to be some intense conflict going on in Le's chart regarding Traditions and Innovations. Hybrid lifestyles. Speaking out against authority. Throwing out the old to bring in the new. Don't know if any of this could possibly be related to her murder but it looks like a strong influence for Le at this time.

I know I'm supposed to look at SA Venus in Gemini and just be satisfied that she was having an affair with her professor and had just cut it off right before her marriage. But it seems that there was something involving something bigger here.

At any rate, it's interesting to watch the transit chart for the last time that Le was seen walking into the laboratory. At 10:00 am on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 28 Libra was rising. Libra is ruled by Venus which indicates Women, Love affairs. Mars (Aggression, Men) was in Cancer up in the 9th House (College, College Professors). Mars is squaring Mercury Rx in H11 (Message?). This square is involved in a Thor's Hammer configuration (crossroads to act) with Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius down in the 4th House.

Of course, with Libra in her last degrees at that point, Scorpio soon rises (around 10:17 am). This means that Pluto (murder) now rules the chart. Pluto is on a strong degree right now for manifesting crap (1 Capricorn) and at this time during the day it is in the 2d house opposing the 8th House of murder, which it rules.

During this time the Nodal Axis is crossing the IC/MC axis with Lilith conjunct the North Node to the degree. Between 10:30 and 11:00am Venus is crossing the Leo Midheaven and the Moon is crossing the Descendant. It would certainly seem that marriage and family had something to do with this event but in a weird way.

MoveOn.Org just emailed a very well put together list of people's disagreements with President Obama's Healthcare plan. It includes 5 of the biggest lies that are spreading around, the source of the lies, and describes how the lies differ from what the Legislation actually is concerned about.

The Saturn-Uranus opposition in Virgo-Pisces is our big opportunity to make sure that people don't suffer undo hardship because of the huge Corporations that have been masquerading as the Healthcare field.

Don't know how much of this is due to my advancing age and how much is due to the rising cost of Insurance, but my Health care premium has doubled in the last 5 years. But, if I did have to go I would have trouble paying both the Insurance and the Medical Bill. The Pluto in Virgo generation doesn't have much of a bedside manner, but they do have a good idea of what works and what doesn't work in the large morass of legislation. The Pluto in Libras, brilliant knitters that they are, can't be trusted in situation called "work." And the Pluto in Scorpios ... oh my God, they just want to cut.

Top Five Health Care Reform Lies—and How to Fight Back

Lie #1: President Obama wants to euthanize your grandma!!!

The truth: These accusations—of "death panels" and forced euthanasia—are, of course, flatly untrue. As an article from the Associated Press puts it: "No 'death panel' in health care bill."⁴ What's the real deal? Reform legislation includes a provision, supported by the AARP, to offer senior citizens access to a professional medical counselor who will provide them with information on preparing a living will and other issues facing older Americans.⁵

Lie #2: Democrats are going to outlaw private insurance and force you into a government plan!!!

The truth: With reform, choices will increase, not decrease. Obama's reform plans will create a health insurance exchange, a one-stop shopping marketplace for affordable, high-quality insurance options.⁶ Included in the exchange is the public health insurance option—a nationwide plan with a broad network of providers—that will operate alongside private insurance companies, injecting competition into the market to drive quality up and costs down.⁷

If you're happy with your coverage and doctors, you can keep them.⁸ But the new public plan will expand choices to millions of businesses or individuals who choose to opt into it, including many who simply can't afford health care now.

Lie #3: President Obama wants to implement Soviet-style rationing!!!

The truth: Health care reform will expand access to high-quality health insurance, and give individuals, families, and businesses more choices for coverage. Right now, big corporations decide whether to give you coverage, what doctors you get to see, and whether a particular procedure or medicine is covered—that is rationed care. And a big part of reform is to stop that.

Health care reform will do away with some of the most nefarious aspects of this rationing: discrimination for pre-existing conditions, insurers that cancel coverage when you get sick, gender discrimination, and lifetime and yearly limits on coverage.⁹ And outside of that, as noted above, reform will increase insurance options, not force anyone into a rationed situation.

Lie #4: Obama is secretly plotting to cut senior citizens' Medicare benefits!!!

The truth: Health care reform plans will not reduce Medicare benefits.¹⁰ Reform includes savings from Medicare that are unrelated to patient care—in fact, the savings comes from cutting billions of dollars in overpayments to insurance companies and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.¹¹

Lie #5: Obama's health care plan will bankrupt America!!!

The truth: We need health care reform now in order to prevent bankruptcy—to control spiraling costs that affect individuals, families, small businesses, and the American economy.

Right now, we spend more than $2 trillion dollars a year on health care.¹² The average family premium is projected to rise to over $22,000 in the next decade¹³—and each year, nearly a million people face bankruptcy because of medical expenses.¹⁴ Reform, with an affordable, high-quality public option that can spur competition, is necessary to bring down skyrocketing costs. Also, President Obama's reform plans would be fully paid for over 10 years and not add a penny to the deficit.¹⁵

We're closer to real health care reform than we've ever been—and the next few weeks will decide whether it happens. We need to make sure the truth about health care reform is spread far and wide to combat right wing lies.

More on the Billings Murders in Florida

Don't really intend to pursue this all that much but was interested to find out an interesting tidbit about the Florida murder of a couple in their homes.

According to what I've found the birth dates for the Victims are:

Another Arrest has been made. Pamela Long Wiggins rented a place out to Gonzalez, Jr. so had contact with him. Her van was used during the robbery and the safe that was stolen was found in her backyard.

Wow, well, without place or time it's difficult to say much about anything here. There's a possibility that all 3 of these people were born under a Full Moon. So that could possibly be some Eclipse action.

Also, all 3 of them have a conjunction of Mars to Neptune. Byrd had a conjunction of Sun 30 Virgo to Neptune 30 Virgo to Mars 4 Libra. Melanie and Pamela both had the conjunction in Scorpio. There is talk on the Websleuths site that drug trafficking is involved which would make sense for Mars and Neptune. But whether this means that these people were involved or just the victims of the traffickers I can't say.

Byrd was born during the Saturn-Uranus conjunction in Gemini and had both of these squaring his Nodal Axis.

Melanie was born with a difficult chart. Her Sun is conjunct the Uranus-Pluto opposition to Saturn-Chiron which occurred during 1965. This is squaring her Nodal Axis.

Interesting how these two charts relate. Don't have much time to look very deeply at this, but both Husband and Wife had Virgo Suns and possibly Pisces Moons. That would certainly explain their need to care for all those children. Plus both had Uranus-Pluto contacts. And as said previously both had Mars-Neptune conjunctions. Melanie would have been attracted to difficult situations through the placement of her Sun on that big opposition. They apparently were involved in some sort of illegal adoption thing a while back.

Pamela was born during the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Capricorn (24-29 degrees) of her birth year (assuming this is correct date, someone on Websleuths pointed out that she claimed to be a Taurus on a profile page on some website). If the date given above is correct she would have had Sun c. Mercury Rx squaring Jupiter-Saturn. She wouldn't have been a real clear thinker but would have liked to be in charge of things. Jupiter-Saturn and Libra Sun are very social placements to have. Apparently she was the link between Gonzalez, Jr. and the Byrds.

Opening Bell Charts and the Saturn-Uranus Opposition

There is talk about how the Economy is improving in the media. Meanwhile there are a bunch of adjustable rate mortgages coming due this Summer. Someone told me that it is feared that as many as 75 percent of these will fail.

So I thought I'd take a look at how the remaining Saturn-Uranus opposition (days of exact opposition) will look in the Opening Bell Charts for Wall St. We are going through a very long pass of this opposition in which the planets will aspect each other exactly 5 times over almost a two year period. The opposition is considered more vibrant because its last couple of exact passes will occur over the Aries Points in the charts. This could indicate problems that are perhaps worldwide and in transition. In traditional Astrology both of these planets are ruled by the same planet, Saturn, so there is a sense that they may not see things all that differently anyway. At any rate, they are here being challenged by Pluto who is in a square with both of them from the beginning of Capricorn. Pluto is a big distillor, he wants to prune away and reduce whatever is dead weight, get to the core. Here he is working on a society level, probably from the point of view of the elite class, the most successful as represented by Capricorn. There is a sense of things going on behind the scenes. Or, perhaps Pluto will get in there and confront the problems and expose them. If you expose too much, of course, you make yourself vulnerable.

Of course, a huge problem with a t-square is that it brings lack in the one spot where it isn't represented in a square. This is the Cancer Aries Point which is so strongly represented in so much of the United States' legislation. Cancer represents the public, the land, anything that nurtures and provides the materials for growth.

The t-square won't ever be exact. They are close enough for Gemini Rising but others might not think this is all that important. Truth is, the Uranus-Pluto square, which isn't going to be exact until 2012 will be within orb of a being considered a square in this Summer's Eclipse so that energy will probably be felt from then on. A good old fixed sign outer planet square is probably good to have for survival when things get tough. The kids born during this time will be able to handle just about anything that's thrown at them.

Eclipses. Again, it's a daunting task to try to follow all this information. The Uranus-Pluto exact squares will be caught in the crossfires of some Eclipses from 2013 through 2015. In May, 2013 the square will be exact right between a Set. That month is when the Scientists say the Solar Cycle will be at its maximum. I wrote about that Virgo guy who was unbelievably great at predicting Financial Crises related to the Solar cycles. Was his name Jevons? Sounds like a Butler.

Saturn and Pluto will square each other 3 times from Nov. 15, 2009 to Jan. 31, 2010 to Aug. 21, 2010. The last time they squared was from 1993-94 and before that in 1973-74.

Uranus and Pluto will square each other 7 times from Jun 24, 2012 through Mar. 17, 2015. The last time they squared was in the early 30s from the signs Aries (Uranus) to Cancer which shows why there is some concern for repetition of the Great Depression.

The following charts are for the Opening Bells on Wall Street and so are set for 9:30 am.
Therefore, the Wall Street's Ego, Vitality, Will, Risk, Creativity, as represented by its Opening Bell Charts, is in the 11th House o f Hopes, Wishes, Community Activities, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Shock, Erratic Behavior, Freedom, Mental Distance, etc. That sets the tone for how Wall St. wants to express itself in its investments. The Sun rules H5 which is a Resource House so this is a great placement.

This also means that often the chart will often be ruled by the Sign that comes before whatever sign the Sun is in. This might be a source of tension as that means that the Sun is often expressing itself through the 12th House of the Sign it is ruling. That can either lead to self-undoing or finding hidden resources. There is always a nagging sense (and, er, knowledge) that there are undercurrents going on which can't be controlled (Pisces, H12). Things aren't what they seem. Off track, back to the charts.

Saturn-Uranus opposition is exact at 12:43 PM at 25 Virgo-Pisces Sun 23 Virgo

Sun 23 Virgo; Moon 9 Leo; ASC 28 Libra; MC 1 Leo; NN 28 Capricorn

Saturn here is placed in House 11 and is conjunct the Sun and Mercury Retrograde. Cautious, disciplined mind. The Mercury Rx will mess up clarity of thinking and communication and might indicate a fearful attitude towards anything having to do with Risk and Entrepreneurship. Opposite is Uranus which is placed in the 5th House. These two are duking it out in the mutable signs of Virgo/Pisces and they are playing with the square to Pluto. This shows an adaptability for change, issues concerning Analysis v. Psychic Knowing, Health, Discipline of Day to Day v. Release into Unknown, and whatever. They are adaptable but nervous. There is a sense that no one knows boundaries and those who feel comfortable with that will either do well or will coerce ire in others. Medical Stocks might come back into forefront but only if they have a product.

So the Saturn-Uranus opposition is taken off the Angles here, which is positive, but Saturn is conjunct the Sun and is squaring Pluto at 1 Capricorn in H3 (Communications). That, along with Mercury Rx shows that Communications will somehow play a part. An Announcement? A lot of Government intervention? Send Congress on a Vacation so that they can't sign any Legislation because they'll just bury us further in. Policing? Ruthless behaviors? Sun-Saturn is also trining the North Node at 28 Capricorn, that indicates that Government is pushing to build. With the 3d House emphasis, just make sure it's not the Tower of Babble we're building. Wonder what will happen with Transportation stocks. Of course, 3 house and Mercury are concerned with the Auto Industry and Newspapers and TV. Kind of interesting, just heard on the news last night that the funds for the Roads are going to run dry in August. Can't remember if that was National or just in California.

Mars here is unaspected at 13 Cancer in H9. Temper Tantrums. International Relations. Academia. A Classical Musician should ring the Opening Bell on this day. Perhaps some infantile behavior that could lead to some good luck. Sounds creative to me. Maybe the Bipolars will have to be taken off their meds and will go back to working in TV and Media so we can finally get some new ideas.

With regards to the houses that rule money directly, H2 and H8, Venus and Pluto, the natural rulers of the 2d and 8th Houses are in reversal position from where they ought to be. They always are at this time of year, maybe why the Market tends to tank around this time, in October. Venus is up in the 10th House and is opposing the Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune conjunction which will still be in effect in Aquarius (h4). Good time to invest in Real Estate? Maybe a little boom? This will be the event that separates the Haves from the Have Nots? H2 and H8 are empty.

Neptune in this chart is in the 9th House. It is still conjunct Chiron. I wrote a post a long time ago about how Neptune sells so perhaps this is where to look for investment opportunities. In the knitting world the sales are dropping off for everything except sock yarns which are represented by Neptune rulership of the feet. I can't finish two of anything so I'm sticking with Hats for now. I'm so tired of all this mutable sign energy I'm craving some good old Cardinal Aries Sign Head Gear.

Once again, the Sun is conjunct a Mercury Rx 10 Taurus. This squares Mars at 11 Leo. Military?

Saturn-Uranus is on the Angles. This is at 29 Virgo-Pisces, gaining on the Aries Points. Jupiter will be at 23 Pisces now in conjunction with Uranus rather than Neptune. (Note the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception is getting one big last hurrah from Jupiter as he passes from one to the next, great for Science and Technology, maybe for politics and law).

Pluto is 10 degrees away from conjunction with the Nodal Axis and is right on the Descendant. Crisis created by others? Both points are trining Sun-Mercury Rx. Relationship problems coming to a head. Anger.

This is the biggee on the Aries Points. Saturn opposes Uranus from 1 Libra to 1 Aries. They are angular by sign and by house. Saturn is in H1 conjunct Mars and Uranus-Jupiter is in the 7th House. They are squaring Pluto at 4 Capricorn in the 4th House. Pluto is conjunct the North Node at 11 Capricorn.

In addition, there is a Full Moon crossing the H5 (Moon in Aquarius) to H11 (Sun in Leo).

There is a big emphasis on relationships here. Oppositions represent relationships, balancing, harmonizing. Libra rules the chart. Feeling of being turned upside down.

The Answers to Itching and the End of Scratching

Found a story this morning that seems to be a perfect Pluto in Capricorn square Saturn-Uranus opposition manifestation. Pluto wants to change (or destroy) whatever it touches. It does this by weeding mostly, hence the destruct and destroy element. Sometimes its methods for figuring how to weed are a little bit interesting in psychological circumstances as it creates a great Hunger for Power in whomever it touches. If the person is not quite on the up and up it will create Hubris and the person's actions will bring him down or Pluto can bring devastating feelings of Powerlessness. If the person is ready for an experience or simply "selected" in life he can achieve greatness. The idea is that he/she will just become either more powerful or more purified.

On the physical side it can work in the same ways. So, as Pluto has moved into Capricorn, sign that rules skin and bones and knees, I've been waiting for these stories to crop up having to do with advances in understanding these areas of the body and have found one today.

A neuroscientist in Minnesota, Dr. Glenn Giesler, Jr., has tortured some Macaque Monkeys in the lab and has found a possible area in the part of the spine located at the bottom of the rib cage that triggers itching sensations in the skin.

The spine is co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus. The nerves are ruled by Uranus and Mercury. I wonder if there will end up being a statistically significant number of revelations in Health as Saturn opposes Uranus in the signs of Virgo-Pisces. Pisces, of course, rules the part of the story where lab animals are tortured. I suppose this can help animals as well who have chronic itches so in the end they may benefit as well. I wonder if plants have itches. I bet they do. I can tell you that just writing this has caused me to rub about 3 parts of my body practically raw. Actually, my left eye has just developed a twitch. This is stuff that Chiropractors and Acupuncturists probably already know about.

Earthquake Swarm Near Salton Sea

Monica at Astrology Mundo is living down in the Palm Springs area which is close to the Salton Sea where there has been an "Earthquake Swarm" of more than 250 small earthquakes in about the last week. I'm not one to withhold panic so I gotta say this is farkin frightening. I'm a few months shy of 50 and have lived in California my whole life and have never really heard of these Swarms until the last couple of years. Yet, the media says they are common for the Salton Sea. Last year there were a bunch off the Coast of Oregon and in Reno and Yellowstone always struggles with Old Faithful. I tell you the land is trying to pass some serious gas. I think it might even be Colitis. (that's a sick joke, apologies to sufferers, but, hey, you're bent over in pain anyway).

So Earthquakes are definitely connected with Uranus as I've shown before. Uranus or Aquarius generally seems to be angular when they hit. Tough part about that is that both Uranus and Aquarius are angular 4 times a day every day. Interesting that we sort of got a break from Earthquakes while Uranus was transiting its own sign. Saying this then doesn't make sense when one realizes that in California at any rate there were no huge Earthquakes while Uranus was in its own sign of Aquarius.

According to the following link there were a lot of swarms back in the 1970s and 80s. People living in California were mostly either drunk or high at that time so I suppose that explains the lack of coverage in the media. Recently, there was a significant set of swarms called the "Obsidian Butte Swarm" in 2005 which began on Aug. 28, 2005 around 3:45 pm and last through September. In addition to Uranus, Saturn is going to be involved. Saturn is Earth. Saturn likes to keep a lid on things, just the perfect scenario for a volatile eruption down the road. Mars will be there. And Jupiter will be there. And Pluto will be there just cause Pluto needs a crisis. And all the rest will be there. From what I'm looking at right now Neptune could be involved very significantly.

California's last biggees happened when Uranus and Neptune were in Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn and Earth. I keep seeing how Pluto's move into Capricorn seems to be dredging up old news stories and tv personalities from the 70s and 80s, Valerie Bertinelli's 48 year old bikini body is clad on the cover of some magazine this week.

Oh, where was I? Earthquakes. Sorry, Monica. Got a little distracted. Really I don't think that Palm Springs is the epicenter for anything but Botox these days. Karl Rove's Step-Father was a Geologist and he lived out his days there. That's how you know you're safe....

Right now, Saturn and Uranus have had two exact passes out of 5 of their opposition transit. There's some things that Astrologers say about multiple passes of aspect transits but I've only heard it for when there are 3 passes. The first one you don't feel, maybe sets the stage, the middle one does something and the last pass completely wipes you off the face of the earth. Oh well, good thing I don't remember how that goes. 5 passes is unusual and shows a lot of repeated stress. What also is stressful is that the USGS has been telling us that we're due. April and October are Earthquake months in Northern California, don't know what Months Southern California zones favor. It looks maybe like the mid-Winter months are Earthquake Season down there.

Something that might be disturbing is that I found an article saying that the Los Angeles area had a major, I mean huge 7.7 earthquake back in 1690.

Don't know how exact the Scientists are about stating that year specifically but when looking at Astrodienst's Ephemeris one notices that Saturn and Uranus were opposing each other the whole year pretty much. The Pope may have been piddling with the Calendar at that point so don't know if this is 1690 California Time or 1690 Vatican Time.

If there really was a huge earthquake that year then the Saturn-Uranus opposition could be a significant influence for Southern California Earthquakes. But these oppositions happen every 40 something-something years and don't force an earthquake to happen every time. Back in the 1690's Saturn and Uranus were in the signs of Scorpio (Saturn) and Taurus (Uranus). Jupiter and Neptune were in Pisces with Jupiter moving on to the Aries Point (0 Aries) at the end of the year. Pluto was in Cancer.

I blogged about a huge earthquake in Oregon that happened 10 years later up in Oregon in a previous blog somewhere. That was in 1700. The Japanese recorded that one because it set off a tsunami which hit their coastline (that's a big un). This could be why California was so sparsely uninhabited by the time the White Guys showed up, don't know. There wasn't any water here until some guy came out and dug a damn that dried up the Fresno area and sent all the water down to L.A in the early 20th Century. The land here is choking, you can see it, the Sequoia's are pissed, so it would make sense that we're gonna have a big one. Plus the guys at the USGS are sending out smoke signals and when they panic, Comet listens.

Here's another pisser. The Northridge Earthquake hit on Jan. 17, 1994 4:31 am Epicenter: Reseda, CA. 6.7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northridge_earthquake. This was big. 65 people died. Hollywood was pulled to a standstill. Rich people had to hire hearses to move their horses around the ranches. I looked at that chart briefly and will come back to it later.

This chart had 30 Sagittarius Rising. That's a significant point because it's an Aries Point. 19 Libra was on the Midheaven. Uranus 14 Libra and Pluto 30 Virgo (an Aries Point) had just passed over the MC and were in the 9th House. Two things are very disturbing about this chart because similar transits will occur this Summer. First, the Earthquake happened right before a Total Lunar Eclipse. That means that there was a Full Moon on the Nodal Axis. The Sun was at 22 Aquarius conjunct the NN at 24 Aquarius in the 2d House and opposing Moon 23 Leo in the 8th House. Jupiter rules the chart and is at 5 Sagittarius conjunct Neptune at 3 Sagittarius and Mars at 12 Sagittarius. That means that there was a Jupiter-Neptune conjunction during a Total Lunar Eclipse.

This Summer we will have a Total Solar Eclipse with a Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction. This will be a New Moon instead of a Full Moon so Sun will be conjunct Moon at 30 Cancer. The Jupiter-Neptune conjunction will be conjunct Chiron rather than Mars in Aquarius. It will be in the 12th House as it was during the San Fernando Earthquake (was conjunct the H12 cusp). Jupiter and Neptune are strong in this chart because they rule the angles. 24 Pisces Rising with 26 Sagittarius MC. And then we got the Saturn-Uranus opposition which will be layered over the Asc-Desc Axis. Uranus wil be squaring Pluto up in H10 at 2 Capricorn (Aries Point and Angular). Mars is in Gemini in the 3d House, unaspected. Eek. The great thing about earthquakes is that the electricity goes out and everyone has to empty the beer out of their refrigerators. They usually do this with their neighbors (3d House). And that neighbor below you who blasts his TV? People on the first floor tend to get squashed.

This is pretty trippy. I'm out of time and going to publish before editing, so apologize and will come back if I don't have a nervous break down first. Anyway, I don't think we get Earthquakes in California in July so this will have to mean something else.

Saturn-Uranus and Robots

I don't have any real reasoning for this but I've been thinking that one manifestation of the Saturn-Uranus opposition, or of any Saturn-Uranus aspect would be advancements in the Creation of Robots. As Saturn and Uranus are always caught in the jealous Father mythology from Greece I tend to worry that this might turn out to be a difficult energy. Something involving Robots taking over the Earth, the Frankenstein story (should check that astrology, hmm). It could indicate Computer Warfare. It could also bring on some positive, humanitarian changes and big business possibilities. For one, a big need for Security in Computer software. On another level, we are very aware of how Slavery has become a bigger problem worldwide than it has ever been. Robots can become Slaves. Boom time in the Marketplace. Of course, in the United States this means that we have to educate our humans so that they don't run around acting like Robots. And we are a complacent set of Cancerians sometimes. And just like people I suppose we can't really trust the robots. And many people don't like the idea of robots no matter what and I tend to be more in that crowd than out of it but considering some of the encounters I've had over the last week with people I think I might be more open to it at this point. One must always account for the fact that once a person becomes an employee his IQ not to mention his dignity and sense of responsibility drops 9,000 points and he does really stupid, destructive things.
