Native American "Scorpion" Calendar found in Central California

Back in the day when Californians used to look up at the sky to see what was up there instead of what is in their big fat narcissistic egos.

Back in the day.... before the extreme lawn plantings and the divorces and the sunglasses and the psychologists and the convertibles, California had people who could sit still. And they could look up at the sky! And, I repeat, they could sit still...

Well, some things never change. Same as today, I doubt the Californians were sober back then. If you've ever seen the Sun set over the Pacific Ocean in November, or watched the Whales swimming up North to breed, you know why this is.

Recently found: a Scorpion carving on a tree in San Luis Obispo County is now thought to have been a Chumash motif showing the constellation Ursa Major traveling around Polaris the North Star.

A paleontologist working in Arroyo Grande named Rex Saint Onge discovered the "Scorpio Tree" in Fall 2006 up in the Santa Lucia Mountains. There is a type of astrolocality technique which splays the 12 signs of the Zodiac over the Globe. I've forgotten what it's called, but do remember that the signs of Sagittarius and Scorpio split right around this area. If you know anything about California you know how much the environment changes right around this area. Southern California is open chapparal. The light is so bright it's actually really difficult to see without sunglasses. The people are open and sunny. Northern California is greener, darker and sort of sparkly. The light casts long dark shadows.

So, I think it's extremely interesting that the Scorpion motif for a constellation is found right at this spot. And the astrology for the finding corresponds really well. In Fall of 2006 Jupiter was changing signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius and was moving toward conjunction with Pluto! Both Venus and Mars were in Scorpio that month as well.

Illinois Gov Gets His Piece of Deep Dish Pizza Pie

You don't want any Chicago Deep Dish Pizza on your Birthday. That's one piece of pie that you don't want a part of. The soon to be ousted Governor of Illinois had one Hell of a Solar Return and I wonder what he wished for when he was blowing out the candles. I'm not saying that Rod Blagojevich is a Nice Guy, or a Good Guy, or even a Guy with a Well Shaped Head. I've never even heard of him. But, when you look at Rod Blagojevich's Astrology Chart you sort of feel for him. It seems that he's going through the kind of transits that only a Buddhist Monk could handle well, and maybe only the Dalai Llama or Thich Nhat Hanh at that.

Rod Blagojevich

b. Dec. 10, 1956 Chicago, IL

Sun 19 Sagittarius; Moon Pisces or Aries?; NN 29 Scorpio

Wull, so the Gov was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 for trying to sell President Elect Obama's Senatorship. He was released later that day. The next day was his Birthday. You could look at his chart, see that he's got Scorpio North Node squared by Pluto and stop your reading right there. This guy's got some heavy Karmic stuff to deal with, especially concerning money, control and, spying.

Hey Rod, SURPRISE!!!! The FBI came to your party.

That's one nasty Solar Return (Mercury Return as well) I couldn't figure out what exactly he did until John McCain was on David Letterman, the media really is that bad at reporting stories these days. John McCain said that Blagojevich was told that his phones would be tapped and he continued to hawk the Senator seat anyway. I think he was taking bids to sell it for $500,000 or something like that. He's got Mercury in Capricorn, so, man, I don't really get this. The Cap Merc people are usually pretty brainy and generally have to leave that sort of brash stupidity to us Leo Mercury's. I don't get it. (He's also a Sadge Sun maybe with Pisces Moon like Ben Bernanke and not at all cute so, well, my hormonal monitor maybe indicates that he's got an Aries Moon or something.)

So I was curious to look at Blag's Mercury, of course. What kind of aspects can make a Mercury in Capricorn dumb beyond words? Saturn mistakes always come back to haunt you (with the idea that you can fix them) and Mercury rules Telephone Conversations.

"Blag's" natal Mercury in Capricorn is very close to an Aries Point which means that he can really pro-ject to the outside world through his Communication Style. Capricorn Style can either be very polite or overly harsh and rude. So what set off Blag's Mercury in it's own special direction? It is apex to a t-square of Mars 3 Aries opposing Jupiter 30 Virgo. Jupiter is considered conjunct the Libra Point because it is within the 1 degree orb.

Mercury-Mars-Jupiter is the prototypical aspect for someone prone to exagerration and lack of impulse control in everything having to do with release of flammable elements from between the two lips. It also colors the general thinking process with a tendency to overdo and drive ideas into the ground. NPR yesterday was discussing how what Blag was doing really wasn't that odd. It's just that his style of doing it, his language, was hard on the wiretapper's Puritan ears. Maybe I didn't hear that right, Politics really isn't my thing for this reason.

Natal Mercury in Blag's chart is also Out-Of Bounds at 25 degree 40' 9"S. This magnifies whatever his Mercury is up to. If you're going to have the gift of Gab, you've got to also have been raised with regular visits from an Irish Grandmother (TerroristMatriarch) to scare the Bejesus out of you when you overdo.

Transiting Pluto (the Spy), of course, is conjunct Blag's natal Mercury. That's a Red Flag to be a little paranoid when somebody tells you your phones are about to be wire-tapped. Mars-Jupiter just doesn't get it. (I know, I've got the square.) Bold Strokes, Baby. Bring it on! Words are Swords! Famous Last Words! (that type of thing, for good and mostly for bad) I guess the trine to natal Pluto made him sloppy? Can we blame it on that? At any rate, Blag's natal Pluto is squaring natal Scorpio North Node which it rules so big Karmic Crises are in this guy's cards. Also, anything having to do with Plutonian issues, like the FBI, will not work on one's behalf. And Pluto transits would figure in his life path very prominently as well.

This guy also has no planets in Air. Maybe that's why his head looks like a helium balloon. And that's why there's nothing to tether his out of control Mercury. And he's probably pretty burned out from his Chiron Return which has been receiving company by t. Neptune and the North Node. His progressed Sun is passing over this conjunction as well, can you imagine?

The Corruption stuff shows up very strongly in this chart. I look at Blag's aspects and think, yeah, I'd screw up too. Well, actually so many Astrologers see themselves as the Second Coming and probably would think they could handle it just fine.

Mars is impulse control, lack of. Natally Blag has a really wild Mars. It's is Aries, it's own sign. Very impulsive, very aggressive. It's also in a Grand Fire Trine with Saturn 7 Sagittarius and Uranus 7 Leo. Funny how he's managed to pull himself down during a Saturn-Uranus opposition. John McCain said that Blag had visited him in order to talk about fixing regulations in the government. I've discussed before how I think that Saturn-Uranus combo's may have to do with the struggle between Regulation and Anti-Regulation in society. If that's true this guy really is concerned with all things having to do with Regulaltions. It's interesting how his intentions were good and he got hung up by his own agenda. And I wonder what the real story is here, especially since the media has been doing such a bizarre job of reporting the story.

Here comes the corruption part, in addition to the Grand Trine with Saturn and Uranus, Mars in Aries (impulsive, aggressive) is also apex of a Yod to Neptune 3(?) Scorpio sextile Pluto 1 Virgo. This, of course, is being set off by Pluto's transit at 1 Capricorn right on Blag's natal Mercury. Mars, Neptune and Pluto together just don't know right from wrong. Neptune and Pluto don't think about boundaries, they are water. They are Mystical and Wonderful and great for Cosmic Consciousness but not related to Reality. Adding to the stress, 2dary progressed Mars just moved in to Taurus and is opposing natal Neptune. Taurus rules money and this transition might indicate a sudden shift in energy like this could enhance one's greed factor. Wanting to get a bigger piece of the pie.

Bulldozer Joe

Just found this story in connection with the downfall of Slobodan Milosevic of Serbia. Guess it's 7 plus years too late. Can I just blame it on the U.S. Postal Service (of my Mind)?

The event that led to Milosevic resignation is called "The Bulldozer Revolution." It occurred in Belgrade on Oct. 5, 2000. It's called "Bulldozer" because some guy got into a Bulldozer and rammed into the State controlled TV Station at around 17:00 hours. What can we say here? The guy was a Sagg, maybe a Double Sagg. Pluto was on his Sun & Mercury if not his Moon. This is the ultimate "I'm Mad as Hell and I'm Not Going to Take It Anymore" aspect. Anyway, I have Sagg on my Descendant so I just think this is the Ultimate Good Time.

I hereby present to you, the Guy who drove the John Deere that ended Milosevic's career:

Ljubisav "Dzo" (or Joe for Westerners) Dokic

b. Nov. 27, 1943 (Belgrade? no birth place given) Yugoslavia

Sun 5 Sagittarius; Moon Scorpio or Sagittarius; NN 9 Leo (c. Pluto)

Joe's got a great chart for driving a Bulldozer. I mean, he would have also been a great journalist or politician but you've got to work with whatever tools you've got readily available, right? And Milosevic didn't give his people too many options overall.

Joe here is a Sagittarius Sun with Sun conjunct Mercury and maybe, probably, Moon in Sagittarius. This opposes a conjunction Uranus and Mars. Joe likes Revolution. Saturn is also in a later degree of Sagittarius. I would have liked to have seen it exactly in conjunction with Mars and Uranus for a Bulldozer Driver but Joe was out of work and suffering from a spinal injury, so, as I said, he would have made a better journalist or lawyer.

On Oct. 5, 2000, transiting Pluto was opposite Jupiter and the two were layered over this natal opposition of Joe's. This is a sign of Success, that he would do something larger than life. A couple of Grand Trine figures link into this opposition as well, further assuring that something would happen.

Joe's bulldozing down of the door of the TV Station is clearly depicted by this Gemini-Sagittarius axis which represents both Media, Speech, Ethics, and Driving Skills. Saturn had just passed into Gemini as well. That literally just screams out "Bulldozer" (Saturn) and "TV Station (Gemini)."

So, why Joe? Why not Fred or Agnes or Hal? I'll tell you why. Two reasons.

Joe's Venus was placed in its own sign of Libra. That's the Scales of Justice, Baby. On this day, the Sun was at 13 Libra conjunct Joe's natal Venus and squaring the t.Nodal Axis and the t.Moon. This Sun (and Joe's Venus) was also involved in a Grand Trine with Jupiter in Gemini and Neptune in Aquarius. Joe was simply more likely to survive the police gun shots than anyone else, that's the Jupiter influence at work. Sagittarians know when they're feeling lucky and they know when their chances aren't so hot.

This Grand Trine is echoed in Joe's progressed chart as his p.Sun had just passed into Aquarius (sign of Revolution) and was trining his Libra Neptune and Gemini Uranus (t.Jupiter). His chart was strongly hooked into doing something for the Humanitarian Good. With t.Pluto on one's Sun, one will go to extreme lengths/crises to change things.

Milosevec resigned 2 days later.

Another thing, Joe's progressed Mercury was just coming out of Retrograde and he just coming out of verbal hibernation. His communication skills had just received a huge boost.

The Mass Protest lasted all day and had been going on for years. The TV Station was overrun beginning around 17:00 hours according to this timeline: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/959077.stm

Hollywood's Most Desirable Woman

AskMen.com ran a Poll asking more than 1 Million Men who the Most Desirable Woman in Hollywood is. Well, they make you flip through 100 Slightly Less Desirable Women in Gradated Increments before getting to the Winner. I went to the Comments Section and discerned from all the people bitching that Katherine Heigel is NOT the Most Desirable Woman, that she is indeed the Winner of the Poll. Wanted to check her chart for reasons why she may be Hollywood's Most Desirable this year.

Pluto rules deep desires. Venus rules the desire to be loved. Mars rules going after what you want. Jupiter just wants everything. Moon is the subconscious.

Katherine Heigel

Nov. 24, 1978 Washington, DC

Sun 3 Sagittarius; Moon probably in Virgo; NN 24 Virgo Rx

Well, it looks like Jupiter helped Heigel last year. She has 4 planets in Sagittarius, the sign that Jupiter was passing through. First Jupiter would have hit her Sun (Luck, Opportunity) and then passed over her Mercury, Mars, & Neptune in Sagittarius. Mars & Neptune working together are thought to give a person extra Charm and Panache. This stellium is the boundary for a Bundle Chart (Everything happens all at once) creating a trine with Jupiter in Leo (entertainment). The Mars-Neptune-Mercury stellium also squares her Nodal Axis (Destiny) and maybe Moon (Public) in Virgo.

And, of course, Pluto, the planet of Sexual Magnetism had been slowly passing over those planets for the past few years, sort of prepping Heigl for the Jupiter transit.

So, basically, Jupiter, planet of opportunity, has been passing over every planet in Heigl's chart over the last 4 years of so. In her case it really did offer her one opportunity after another. Once it hit that Stellium in Sagittarius (the sign of Luck), BLAMMO!!! All the planets contained within a Mercury-Jupiter trine also explains her incredible comedy talents. I suppose this lines up with her career although I'm not going to check it.

Heigl does have the hardware for winning this poll, though, on her own. She has the Bundle Chart, everything contained within a Trine, so when things go right for her they go really right. She has achieved great career success the same year that she married. Maybe too much all at once, but right is right.

Also, Heigl has Venus in Scorpio and that is just plain sexy. I know it's in its Detriment but Men like the danger that might be involved in a Detrimental Venusian. Nick Campion calls this placement the "Dark Temptress." Hegel's Venus is squaring her Jupiter which adds an element of Luck and also adds a sense of playfulness and sportsgirlmanship. It works well for any kind of Doctor role. And shows why she can be cast so well in roles of women in crisis (unplanned pregnancy) or as a perpetual bridesmaid. She can go through all these crises and still manage to hold down a job and have regular sex. So Scorpio.

It would be nice, of course, to know Heigl's birth time to see how her Midheaven was aspected during this time. Amazing how much shows up without it, though, at least in hindsight.

D.B. Cooper, Hijacker

The FBI is bringing up a Cold File of a Hijacker from the 70s. A guy in a business suit and a trench coat got on to a plane flying from Portland, Oregon to Seattle Washington on Nov. 24, 1971. No mention of when the plane took off but at around 3pm, the guy, who's smoking cigarettes and drinking bourbon and is kinda quiet and sort of looks like Vladimir Putin but without the Oboe player lips, hands a note to the Stewardess telling her that he's got a bomb on board the plane, he's hijacking the plane, he wants $200,000 and 4 parachutes. So, she's like Omigod Omigod Omigod all the way up to the cockpit. And the story goes on, it's on Wikipedia and all over the news, very amusing. Glad I wasn't there.

The plane lands in Seattle and lets the passengers and some of the crew off and then takes off again from Seattle at 7:38pm heading towards Reno, NV. The guy tells everyone to go into the cockpit and he jumps out the back with the money and 2 of the parachutes and leaves his JC Penney tie behind. I bet he remembered to bring his cigarettes, you know how it is. This guy has got on a business suit and loafers and it's storming outside. Wikipedia has an animated picture of him jumping out the back but with no parachute. It's really cute and totally bizarre and no one ever found him.

A kid found some of the money in Washington on Feb. 10, 1980 and now the FBI has found his DNA on the JC Penney tie he left behind. Was it a clip-on? I seem to remember a clip on, that's kind of tacky. According to the Wikipedia article multiple guys have admitted to being this "D.B. Cooper" not his real name, or Dan. The FBI got a new guy who's determined to figure who this guy was after all this time. That sounds fishy and I really wonder why they give a shit.

Anyway, we're having a Nodal Return for the time of the event with North Node in Aquarius. Aquarius rules Aviation so that's optimum for a good hijacker story. The aspects were great for taking an Airplane flight. The Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Aquarius, North Node in Aquarius. Those are all optimum aspects for flying the Friendly Skies. Thing is the Sun was exactly conjunct Neptune (escape) and opposite Saturn. It's interesting that the FBI brings the case back to our attention just as we're having a Nodal Return in Aquarius. The Node for this event was involved in an Air Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto. When Dan or D.B. or whatever his name was notified the stewardess of the Hijacking at 3pm the North Node was straight overhead conjunct the Midheaven.

This is probably too much information but it's interesting to note that 5 planets were in Sagittarius. This includes an exact conjunction of Sun to Neptune which opposing Saturn right over the H2-H8 cusp. That's a really great set of aspects for either getting away with a crime or committing suicide. 1 degree Taurus was rising. The chart ruler, Venus, plus the other Sagg planets were in the 8th house. Guess those are lucky indicators for asking for other people's money.

It seems that the jump was around 8:13pm. Nobody really knows where the Hijacker jumped but some say at Woodland, Washington. This gives a 28 Cancer Rising with chart ruler, Moon, still in Aquarius but now in the 8th House. The Sagg Planets have moved to mostly the 5th House (risk). And the Grand Trine is set up so that Pluto is conjunct the IC with Uranus in the 4th also. I take that to mean that the guy was flattened like a pancake. But Mars was in Pisces in the 9th House. I have no idea what rules parachutes but anything including Pisces helps for making an escape.

For comparison, it's interesting to regress back to 1924 when Duane L. Weber was born in Dayton, Ohio. He's one of the guys who confessed to the crime on his death bed. In Nov, 1924 there were two Grand Trines. Those are good indicators for getting away with stuff in life. One of the Grand Trines is in Water and includes Saturn trine Pluto trine Uranus. Uranus at this point was in Pisces conjunct the Mars of the Hijacking chart. The other Grand Trine is in Fire and includes a conjunction of Neptune to the North Node in Leo to Chiron in Aries and Jupiter in Sagittarius. So there would be a Nodal Opposition, a Jupiter Return in Sagittarius no less and a Grand Trine including Saturn and Pluto to compare against the Event Chart! Plus, the Neptune conjunctions! Wish they'd give his birthdate.

I figured from the pictures and stuff that it's just some nut pretending he's James Bond, like a publicity stunt or something. Diamonds are Forever was released the next month, I checked.

Clyfford Still

While Gemini deals with the world of concrete ideas, Sagittarius deals with the world of abstract ideas. So it makes sense when Abstract painters are Sagittarians. There are very few painters who I feel completely moved by when I'm viewing their works in a Museum. When I was living in San Francisco I would go into a room in the museum which only hung Still's paintings. It was like being out in nature, or a lot like driving across the United States where there's nothing but vast amounts of land all around. The scale was huge and there was a sense of something even bigger existing just beyond what the eye could see. Really amazing. And also seems very Sagittarius to me.

Still was a 20th century Abstract Expressionist, I think he's categorized in what are called "Color field painters." His paintings were generally very large, full of strong, pure, flat colors in jagged shapes. The paint is very richly implied in thick impasto that tapers down to very thin edges in spots, sometimes to bare canvas. I seem to remember reading somewhere that he made his own oil paints so that he could work with exactly the correct type of paint that he needed. He made a huge donation of 30 or so paintings to a museum with all kinds of stipulations about how they were to be displayed just so that he could guarantee that they would be presented correctly. I know that Virgo is often thought to be the perfectionist sign but I've found this much more in Sagittarius. And in fact Still's chart has strong Virgo-Sagittarius emphasis as you can see below. He has one of the Classical Signatures for an artist with Venus in major aspect to Neptune (opposition).

Clyfford Still

b. Nov. 30, 1904, Grandin, ND

Sun 9 Sagittarius; Moon Virgo; NN 15 Virgo

Wikipedia seems to have updated Still's bio lately with some pretty interesting information. Usually short bio's dwell on his irascible personality and nothing more. Still was educated in Washington state and taught there at the beginning of his career. He and another artist spent 4 years teaching a school that documented the lifestyles of the Native Americans living in the area. His paintings are usually painted in earth pigments, perhaps influenced by interaction with this culture. The other Color Field painters were using the most modern materials they could get their hands on.

Still got his first show in 1943 in San Francisco. He had been working for the War in an ammunitions factory. This must have been a difficult time for him as t. Saturn was conjunct his natal Pluto and t.Pluto and the North Node were opposite his natal Saturn. His progressed Sun had been passing over his natal Venus in Capricorn for the last 3 years. This must have been a time of hard work and frustration for waiting. Don't want to make those Sagg's wait too long, they're pretty impatient. I wonder if this is when he developed his personality problems.

In 1943, the Pluto-North Node conjunction was in Leo, sign of art, and it was trining his natal Sun, so he got his first whack at Fame (Pluto) this year. T.Neptune was also conjunct his natal Mars in Libra (Art, Action) and t. Uranus was opposing his Sun (Innovation, Avante-Garde).

Also interesting at this time is the movement of Still's Progressed Mercury. It had been moving Retrograde in Capricorn until 1946 when it turned Direct. This happened right on the Capricorn Aries Point and might be associated with his growing prominence. I think this also extended the influence of his search as an artist as Mercury essentially remained within conjunction of his natal Uranus for a long period of time, about twenty or so years, sorry I didn't look up the exact amount of years.

The Pluto in Leo transit seems to have really brought out the artistic side of his expression as it was trining his Sagittarius planets, first Sun and then Mercury-Uranus. Viewing Still's art really is a firey experience. The edges of the forms are jagged (Wiki's word) and almost look like fire. His use of color is strong and pure, usually he used only warm colors, basic Black, Red, White and Yellow. You can actually see the influence of Pluto moving into Virgo in the late 50s as he started adding the color Blue into his paintings.

Natally Still's conjunction of Mercury and Uranus in Sagittarius could be naturally connected with a person who is Avante-Garde and Individualistic and Freedom loving. This is made extra potent by the fact that both planets are out-of-bounds in his chart. Mercury is also in opposition to Pluto in Gemini, a generation that stressed invention.

Still seems to have bounced back and forth between the West and East Coast. He was probably most appreciated on the East Coast but needed the freedom of the West Coast. In 1961 he settled on a Farm in Maryland. By then Pluto was firmly planted into Virgo and it seems that his most famous work was done. He died in 1980.

Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction

Jupiter will be in exact conjunction with Pluto in Sagittarius on December 11 at 29 Sagittarius. What's it mean? What's it mean?

Jupiter's in its own sign so Academia, Religious belief, Opinions, Lawyers, Partying, it's all good, maybe over the top. Virgo and Capricorn like to revamp and revise. Pluto likes to do full-on demo and then put up something new, shiny bright. What I've noticed in my little neck of the woods, though, is that the Christmas decorations are really understated and dull. It's like we've never recovered from the Christmas that Martha Stewart spent in jail. Or at least I didn't. Wasn't that awful? This is going to be a short conjunction because neither Jupiter nor Pluto is entering into retrograde so enjoy it while it lasts. And keep your opinions to yourself. And I ought to try doing the same...

Since Pluto has a 248 year cycle the last time these two were together was 1758 in October/Novemberish. Maybe that was the year that George Washington's teeth fell out. I checked: Washington was a young buck, Age 26. This article (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6875436/) says that Washington started losing his teeth in his 20s. That just totally sucks. Sagittarius can bring a lot of anxiety, he really needed a mouth guard in case he was grinding, oh well, Cap Moon, what can you say? He probably got his syphilis once Pluto moved into Capricorn and hit his Moon.

What's interesting is that Uranus was also in Pisces in 1758 just like it is now. Interesting that Uranus, with its almost 84 year cycle, goes about through 3 cycles for every one of these Jupiter-Pluto cycles. When the last Jupiter-Pluto conjunction was in April, 1883, Uranus was in Virgo, opposite sign of Pisces. This mutable energy gives Jupiter's place in the combination even more strength and influence. Pluto and Uranus like Revolution and Jupiter likes Opinions and Right Conduct and Mutable Signs don't mind a change of scenery.

I've checked backwards for older Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions in Sagittarius. In 1509 there was an extended conjunction due to Retrogrades which lasted from February to October. All of Europe, India, the Philippines and the Colonies were in a 7-years' War. Please Wiki the year to find out more, I'm certainly no history teacher. Henry VIII started his long rule of Merry Olde England. If I remember the PBS series correctly, Henry VIII was Protestant in a Catholic World, so the Sagittarius theme of Religion was very strong. Uranus moved into Aries just as Jupiter hit Pluto. This changes the predominant energy of the combination from Mutable to Fire. Erasmus wrote "In Praise of Folly." Clown imagery used to mask deep-seated problems of human nature sounds sort of Sagittarius. The Renaissance was peaking showing man's growing belief in himself.

Then the two planets were in conjunction in Sagittarius back in Dec. 1259 to August 1260. Uranus was in the middle of Aries at this point. It looks like this is a major time of change in Asia with Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Hindus and Thais all changing empires and dynasties. Kublai Khan took over the Mongol Empire at this point. And Chartres Cathedral was dedicated this year. The "Treaty of Paris" was signed between England and France which Wikipedia says was one of the reasons for the 100 years war.

Well, this is my Jupiter-Pluto conjunction thoughts. It's happening in my 7th house. No Prince Charming is showing up on his White Steed so I guess Godzilla will be my "open enemy" for the week.

Tunes Itself in 2 Seconds

Rex Bills is in the car and I'm not so this entry won't be keyword proper. My announcement is that I now suspect that Jupiter rules Guitars. At least Electric Guitars. Back in March, a German Company called Tronical Gmbh put out a new electronic device that will keep a 6 string guitar in tune. The American company, Gibson Guitar, is now going to sell the "Digital Les Paul" model starting on Friday. This is a special blue Guitar that tunes itself. "Musicians of the world are getting a new kind of artistic freedom with technology that eliminates the challenging chore of tuning." Sounds Sagg-o, doesn't it? No fuss, quick, no need to test one's patience over too, too much. I know that my Banjo & Ukelele strumming Sagittarius Mom would have loved it. Her neighbors in the condo where she lived would have just keeled over dead.

Gibson was the first company to make Electric Guitars back in 1936. I don't know when during that year the first Guitar was born; but, it was called t

he "Electric Spanish." I do know that during that year Jupiter was in Sagittarius and Saturn in Pisces was opposing Neptune in Virgo. Saturn and Neptune together certainly bring out each other's musical talents. Saturn rules Rhythm and Structure and Neptune rules the Ephemeral. Uranus, planet of electricity, was in Taurus, one of the planets of music. Jupiter in Sagittarius just wants to get down, that's the best rulership explanation and reason for learning to play a guitar I can think of.

So, back in March, when the German Company, Tronical, put out this new advance, Jupiter was once again in Sagittarius. Saturn was once again opposing Neptune, this time in the signs of Leo and Aquarius respectively. Gibson starts selling the Digital Les Paul's Internationally just as Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto will be in conjunction in Sagittarius, the sign of all things International. As Always, World Leaders should take a lesson from Musicians and learn the fine Art of International Relations. Meanwhile, parents the world over will gladly be forking over the extra 900 bucks so that at least their little Starlings' cacophony will at least be in tune. With Saturn now opposing Uranus, I fear for what type of lyrics will be coming out of these babes' mouths.

Les Paul was a Gemini, by the way. No Sagittarius in his chart at all.
