Money Changes Everything

Just saw the quote on an advertisement for MSN.com saying that "money changes everything."

Astrology can improve that thought, I think. We can take that idea one step further, and into the realm of the taboo.

Taurus rules money and Taurus is a very conservative sign. I don't think that Taurus changes much. Taurus wants to accumulate.

However, scorpio is the sign opposite Taurus. And scorpio is related to deep transformation and change.

So, I think that the truly wise saying might be:

"Other people's money changes everything.". Along with sex, death and taxes. And personal power trips, of course.

No word yet on who exactly won the biggest Lottery of all time. According to what I just read which I don't have link for there were 3 winning tickets.

I talked about how Jupiter and Venus were on the Descendant and was hoping that this would somehow describe the winners. Aside from wondering if they're not all Diabetics (Noel Tyl relates Venus-Jupiter combos with Diabetes)

Looked up astrolocality chart for the drawing and found that the Jupiter DS line runs down from Milwaukee/Chicago to just east of Houston. St. Louis is right on it! Baltimore MD is under the influence of the Mars MC and Cihron IC lines. I don't think that Kansas was under any particular lines.

The winning numbers were

That means that you would have had to have picked the number 23 twice. I know that when I was picking numbers I didn't even think of repeating any.

Anyway, it's interesting that 23 is an age related to the 2d Jupiter Return which happens between ages 23 and 24. That's as far as I will go to try to relate the numbers to the astrology chart because one can get really nuts about that.

Congratulations to the Winners!!! I read what I thought was some really good advice which said to go ahead and spend some money now but to wait a year before making the major decisions.

The Mega Millions Lottery

Big Things can come in small lottery tickets.

Tonight at 11:00 pm someone or a group of people will collectively win over half a BILLION dollars! Right now the pot is set at 640 million dollars. This is the biggest Lottery prize ever. I guess the big earth Grand Trine between Mars-Jupiter and Pluto had to pool into something extraordinary. The Earth element is related to material stuff and whomever wins this Lottery is going to spend the rest of their lives seeing how the world works for people who have a lot of stuff. The Grand Trine is in the process of phasing out and now there is a Grand Square in the process of forming. I was just thinking the other day about how Uranus is probably tied to the idea of how you have to be careful what you wish for you may get it.

So if this describes the Winner we can look for a Taurus or a Sagittarius type? Maybe a group of women or college professors or lawyers or bankers. Hahaha, wouldn't that be funny? Actually, there are a lot of psychic types who have Taurus-Sagittarius combos, so maybe some poor tarot card reader out there will divine the lucky Lotto. Perhaps some immigrants or people from foreign lands will win.

Maybe the cycles associated with Venus and Jupiter will indicate the winners? Jupiter follows a roughly 11 or 12 year cycle. Venus is associated with an 8 year cycle with the Sun which would affect a person with a Sun-Venus conjunction. So, maybe the winners will be roughly Ages 11.5, 23, 35, 47, 58, etc. Or 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, etc. Maybe these numbers will be the winning numbers, who knows?

Since the North Node is in Jupiter's sign and is in the first house of the chart this perhaps means that the winner or winners will have the Gemini/Sagittarius pole on one of their angles. I suppose the Sagittarius North Node might bring more luck than usual, especially for people who exhibit the Sadge charm. So crack a joke, pray to God while crossing your fingers behind your back as the balls begin to bounce.

The Sun in Aries is in a wide separating conjunction with Uranus and these are placed in the 5th House at 11:00 pm tonight. Hopes and Wishes and surprises in the house of gambling and risk. Yeah, that sounds like a Lottery event.

The Moon will be at 15 Cancer in the 8th House of other people's money and in a t-square. Moon is in her own sign as is Venus. This bodes well, once again, for the luck of the women, especially married women. Hopefully a group of transexuals will win. They're not married, so they would have to be either bankers or religious nuts or college students or professors. Wouldn't that be fun?

The Moon is opposing Pluto over the house axis of the Astrology wheel that directly rules Money, that is House 2 and House 8. They are squaring the Sun-Uranus combination in the 5th House of Risk and Gambling and Fun. Boy, I don't know how there can't be a winner with this chart but we'll see.

I think the dead relatives (Pluto, House 8, Moon) will be manipulating the outcome. It looks like someone might be manipulating the outcome with Neptune-Chiron conjunct the IC of the chart from H4 opposing Mars Retrograde in Virgo from H10 of the chart. The person with the most dead relatives, preferably Aunts and Grandmothers and Mothers will win this Lottery.

The tension created by the empty leg of the t-square finds its solution in the 11th House. Uranus rules the 11th House so Hopes and Wishes and Shocks and Surprises are at the center of all this. The house is ruled by the sign of Virgo and is empty. It's ruler, Mercury, is Retrograde in Pisces at 25 degrees and down in the 4th House. Maybe the ticket holder will have lost his ticket. Wouldn't that be a drag? Be careful to hide yours from thieves.

Saturn is sort of looking crappy here. He's in Libra which is a good placement for his sign, but he is at the last degrees of Scorpio Retrograde and he's so sick and tired of Libra energy always having to see others living the life that they want he could just diah. Oh yeah, and he's on the cusp of the 12th House. That could indicate theives and secret enemies who are lurking in the corners.

Playing the Lotto with Delma Kinney

According to a Huffington Post article, two time Lottery Winner Delma Kinney is a Sadge.

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. And Jupiter is the Planet of Luck. And in the last few weeks Jupiter in Taurus (money) has been in trine aspect with Pluto (other people's money). Last week the two have been connected in a Super Lucky Grand Trine aspect with Mars in Virgo.

And it gets even wilder than that because the Trine fans out into a Kite. Transiting Mars-n.Pluto-NN opposing t. Chiron 1 Pisces-Neptune 29 Aquarius-n. Chiron 28 Aquarius.

Also, connected with this Kite Axis figure is progressed Sun which is currently at 6 Aquarius.

AND also Kinney's Solar Arc Mars and maybe SA Moon are at 9 Virgo in conjunction with the transiting Mars and natal Pluto-NN. Kinney's natal Mars is Retrograde and Out of Bounds so it has exceptional powers. It's in Cancer maybe in conjunction with the Moon. Interesting configuration for a single Father of 3 to have. Opening Bell June 2, 2011

I think it was last Thursday. Opening Bell Chart for the NYSE shows Saturn in the 3d House of announcements. Magic Federal Reserve Chairman made his announcement that we can expect 5 weeks of falling Stock Market Prices and since then the Stock Market has lost something every day. That was the first of 3 Eclipses in a row which will happen over the next 5 weeks. Neptune was also Stationing Direct at 1 Pisces in the 8th House of this chart. There's that conjunction of Mercury-Venus-Mars in Taurus, sign of money as well. I've noticed before that Mercury and Venus conjunctions often tend to be part of stock market crashes. They're pretty common. And I'd rather have one in June than in October because everyone's going on vacation.

It all seems so controlled and staged. 5 Leo Rising. The last within orb contact between the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto t-square was set off the angles. Maybe the Real Estate Market will start to pick up after the Cancer Eclipse in July. People are really tense. Some guy in a Taco Bell asked me what I thought of the money situation and I told him that we are screwed for 15 more years. He seemed to believe me. People are pretty messed up right about now.

A 38-year old man was arguing with a Hospital about $25.00 he owed on his bill. He finally gave up and decided to pay the thing. But. He paid entirely with pennies. 2,500 of them. He dumped them on the counter and then he stood there and insisted that the employees count them while they spilled over into everything. The employees got so upset they called the Police who charged him with disorderly conduct.

Yayyyy!!! How did the police keep a straight face? Will he pay this ticket with pennies as well? Maybe the metermaid can take the change with her little machine?

Don't know what rules the different currencies. Venus rules copper and Venus rules Money through the sign of Taurus. Taurus can be a real penny pincher sign. Either way Venus was in Taurus on May 27 in tight conjunction with Mercury and Mars (employees, police, making a statement) . The stellium was trining Pluto (revenge) 7 Capricorn Rx.

Unfortunately the Gemini Sun was squaring Neptune (Hospitals).

I suspect that Hospitals are going to be in the news a whole lot during the next 13 years or so while Neptune transits through its own sign.

Weird Coincidence on New Years

So, I just hammered down an entire bottle of Welch's Grape Juice, a $4.99 bottle from Trader Joe's which was recommended by a red-faced lady who was buying up practically an entire case' worth tonight (said that for 5 bucks it's an unbelievable deal).

And, so, like I said I was wondering.

You know Bernie Madoff, who "madoff" with everyone's money (heard that use of his last name from David what's his name, funny comedian, on the Tonight show I think). Anyway, Madoff has a list of 14,000 victims at last count. People and charities who he screwed out of zillions. Boy, and some of those charities, Capricorn Moon that I am, I just don't see it happening, but some of these other guys, they just go ahead and take.

Anyway, I started thinking about Madoff's list. And the idea of "list" sunk in and I thought of "Schindler's List." about Oskar Schindler. And so look at these guys' charts. They really line up. Born within a day of each other, same Mars sign (Gemini), same Saturn Sign (Aries). Maybe they even had the same Moon Sign (Aries) .

You can see how hard it is to read a person, let alone an astrological chart. Can't you? (probably not)

It all swings one way, or then it swings the opposite way. Good and bad. Both men are Taurus Suns concerned with business and greed. Either way, we can see how a Taurus Sun is concerned with finances and accumulations of said funds. When progressed Sun hits natal Mars in Gemini, dude gets overly clever and confident, does his own thing for good or bad.

Taurus rules the alphabet. Gemini rules categories and lists. So, I suppose that's the connection with lists. And with money.

But look at the Nodes. That shows the person's destiny/fate/whateverthehell you call it. Schindler has NN in Cancer conjunct Neptune opposing Uranus and squaring Saturn, maybe Moon. That's some real outer planet awareness of others. He had to have to think about doing good for humanity at some point.

Madoff had NN in Scorpio with Venus-Mars conjunct South Node, all squared by Jupiter in Aquarius. He just thought of the opportunity, the ability to finess, his personal magnetism.

Actually, well, both had Venus-Mars conjunctions, different signs, so they both even had that connection with each other. It helps to have charm. Schindler's NN was in Gemini, so his secretary was literally important to his personal path in life. He deferred much to Ben Kingley's character, if you know what I mean. Madoff's NN was in Scorpio so at some point he was going to deal with revenge.

Anyway, I don't have the answers. I'm just yapping away here with hopes that only intelligent people will read this and not mis-interpret it.

She links to a chart of the NYSE's incorporation chart. Have I looked at this before? Anyway, nice chart available over at bemyastrologer.com (link below). The direct link is at Monica's blog. Maybe if I learned how to do links the Market would go back up (you can tell I have 3 planets in Leo when I say things like that).

With Sun in Taurus and Venus conjunct Taurus Midheaven, I suppose we can see why the Bulls like to Rage. I wish the Bear would go into hibernation but I guess Alan Greenspan kept him there too long, probably doped up on some Neptunian Ego trip. And, actually, the Taurus rulership is inappropriate for the Stock Market. It's supposed to rule Banks which is the part of the Resource Square (H2,5,8,11) that doesn't directly rule Stock Markets. Pluto in the 7th promises constantly unreliable partnerships and dealings. Maybe the NYSE needs to reincorporate. I suppose it's easy to see how this Plutonian energy works because the Federal Reserve Bank and its current Pluto transit is directly affecting the Stock Market's plunge. They'll probably decide to reincorporate right during the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto square. Wouldn't that be a gas?

This chart has Uranus in Leo in the 1st House opposing Pluto in Aquarius in the 7th House. That's being activated by transiting Neptune-Chiron and the North Node for some time now. However, Neptune's transit is coming exact this week. That's what Monica's brilliantly pointing out. Noel Tyl calls Neptune-Pluto transits and Solar Arcs "Ego Wipe Outs." As this one happens on an angle and in the 7th House and activates an opposition this means that the Wipe Out is involved in relationships and in balancing acts. 7th House is the house of open enemies and no combination works less "out in the open" than Neptune and Pluto together. That combination can only make for sabotage and spies. So, this is the state of the New York Stock Exchange.

This NYSE incorporation chart also has a conjunction of Jupiter to Neptune in Libra which opposes Saturn in Aries very close to the IC/MC line. So the Outer Planets are very prominently linked both with each other and with the angles or major points of this chart. Interesting that the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction is trining Pluto here. So, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction that happens this Summer will be trining it. Ben Bernanke is a Sagittarius Sun-Pisces Moon person, so he's embodying Jupiter-Neptune. I'm sure at this point he would rather not embody anything. At any rate, this energy isn't normally known in Astrological circles for fiscal responsibility, more for having concern for policies and theories and unbridled idealism and broad minded humanitarianism. It's actually very positive and upbeat, but considered very unrealistic.

With the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Air there's a real need for fantastic thinking. And with the Uranus-Pluto opposition in Leo-Aquarius there's a need to crash and burn. The Aries Moon likes all the excitement, of course, and Leo Rising likes all the extra attention this drama brings. But, this is conflicted by a Taurus Sun which is ruled by Banks and Money that one has in one's hands and staying real and being conservative. These energies don't work well together so I suppose this is why they slide out of control. There are no planets in Water Signs. So, there might be an extreme handling of dealing with changing scenarios or with dealing with underhanded behaviors that can't be expressed openly and candidly. Interesting that there's a crash just as the rulers of two of the water signs are in conjunction. Mars in this chart is a singleton and is also the only planet that is placed in a Resources house. That's just plain screwy considering that this is a chart for a Stock Exchange. Anyway, Mars in Virgo is very shrewd. Mars is impulse, though. Interesting that this singleton is acting on behalf of all the Resource Houses which are not only empty of other planets but ruled by Mutable Signs on their cusps. That easily explains why the Stock Market is so impermanent and like quick sand.

Right now the progressed Sun is at 29 Sagittarius. That's stressful enough because it shows an big 30 year shift of energy this time from idealistic Sagittarius to stoic Capricorn. The switch from Scorpio to Sagittarius would have taken on a much lighter vibe. Anyway, What a let down. I thought the progression from Leo to Virgo was bad. It also coincides with Pluto's transit too which has just made that passage itself. And now Neptune is there, and Chiron is there. And boy what a mess.

Anyway, we all know that by now.

What I'm starting to worry about is how these Saturn-Uranus transits tend to lead into financial-political problems that turn into World Wars. I'm sort of on the fence with what Obama's doing.
The great Social progress that is happening with regards to his win for Presidency is great but there is at least in my area a huge backlash of racism. That can only get worse. (and by the way, it's not White people who are doing the harassment). Perhaps Social Spending is a better investment than Business spending in times like these because Socially things are in just as bad a shape as anything else. At any rate, Obama's just hired a guy to control all of the money stuff and the guy forgot to pay his own taxes.

Eureka!

One of the worst transits to go through, Astrologers will no doubt agree, is a combination of Saturn to Pluto or Pluto to Saturn. In one word this transit is thought to bring a loss of some kind. I've got these two connected in my chart by a trine and in my life I have gone through a few Double Whammie Saturn-Pluto aspects and I have to say I agree with the usual interpretation. But it isn't the rule. There are no real rules because Nature and the Universe are a mystery. And here is proof (astrological proof for what it's worth): while looking up the disastrous financial situation that California is currently in -- a deadlock in the Government has frozen the money and the Franchise Tax Board is delaying sending out refunds and certain government agencies aren't working today because they can't pay their employees -- I found a really interesting & bizarre version of the Saturn-Pluto transit in California's History. But, this situation I really can't interpret with regards to loss. It would be interesting to look further in this particular person's biography to see what was really going on in his life.

The person I'm talking about is James Marshall. Marshall is the guy who discovered Gold. He is the Father of the Eureka Moment for which California is famous. California's economy is very dependent on Gold Rushes, whether for the actual item, the weather, or for the Real Estate, Hollywood or for the High Tech business. Now it turns out that we won't sink as far underwater during Global Warming. Gawd, I hope an earthquake happens soon, though, and scares off all the transplants -- so annoying and bullying.

First of all I need to look at the astrology of "the Eureka moment." There as some fun indicators here. I'm going to suppose that Uranus and Aquarius are the rulers of such a situation. On the day that Marshall had his great discovery, the Sun was conjunct Mercury in Aquarius and trining the transiting North Node. Uranus was 10 degrees away from Pluto in Aries in a very wide conjunction.

Marshall's natal chart hooks into this as he was having a Nodal Return (Fated Path) which trines his natal Sun. His progressed Mars was at 1 Libra in conjunction with his natal North Node and the transiting North Node. Transiting Uranus was also opposing Marshall's Sun to the degree (15 Aries to 15 Libra Sun).

Eureka!!!!! There's Gold in Them Thar Hills!

As California was accepted into the Union around this time California also has the Uranus-Pluto conjunction and I always suspected that this is the reason for all the Gold Rushes. Even more shocking than Uranus working alone is Uranus working with Mars (sign of Aries) and Pluto.

Where the Astrologers would no doubt have screwed Marshall up royally was in telling him about how awful transiting Saturn is to natal Pluto. Natally Marshall had Pluto in Pisces which is involved in a t-square opposing Mars 9 Virgo and squaring Saturn 12 Sagittarius. This t-square almost fans out into a Grand Square as Mars is squaring an opposition of Venus 2 Sagittarius to Jupiter 1 Gemini. On Jan. 24, 1848 when Marshall went down into the mine and made himself into a millionaire transiting Saturn was at 11 Pisces. It was even squaring natal Saturn! In Pisces. Natal Saturn is conjunct Neptune even. How depressing. How many Astrologers would have had him sobbing all over himself???

On the Eureka day there was a Kite Shape which is a good omen. Grand Trine of Saturn 11 Pisces to Chiron 11 Virgo trine Jupiter 14 Cancer. That's good. You know Jupiter had to have been hanging around. Chiron was opposite Mars. Mars likes to bring on a Rush.

Marshall was also going through his Venus Return in Sagittarius, or he was approaching Venus return, still too far out of orb. Venus is the dispositer of his Sun (rules Gold) and North Node so this is more important in Marshall's chart than in some of us poor schmucks. (Study of the Eclipses would probably be interesting).

Marshall also had a very prominent Mars in Virgo, sign of precision analysis. Mars rules picks and sharp tools, physical activity, rushing around, digging. Mars is a singleton in his chart and is involved in 2 t-squares so it's very active. My brother has a Virgo Mars and does construction. He can walk into a building and ram a pick into just the right spot in the structure to pull it apart perfectly. (My Mother also had Mars in Virgo. She was very good at knowing just how to pick on people so that they become completely unstrung. Okay, so I'm whining.) So, Marshall's eye or "sense" would have been a bit more particular than some of us. Marshall's progressed Mars was perfectly placed as well. I mentioned that it was conjunct his Nodal Axis both natally and by transit. It was also squaring his progressed Venus at 6 Capricorn.

This is how far this has to go. Check out this chart someday. It is truly Golden. Do not cram people full of fear. Ruthlessness applied to work can sometimes pay off. (in relationships it rarely works). Loss and Loneliness very often come long after one knows (deep down at any rate) that a thing or situation is dead.

Stimulus

Stimulus ought to be a word exclusively used for Sex. But, alas, the 8th House doesn't differentiate between Sex, Death and Taxes. We're not talking about Enthusiasm. Plutonians don't inspire. We're talking about selfish desire. At any rate, Investment managers are killing themselves, parents are killing their entire families. Bernie Madoff couldn't care less as is the way with Sociopaths, another Plutonian pop-up that we all possess mostly to a lesser degree. Hey, your Devil May Care attitude created your best memories. Admit it.

This sounds like some good old 8th House stuff. And some single woman just gave birth to 8 artificially inseminated babies to go along with the 6 she already has. That's not Plutonian, more like a Lunar Whack Job, but for some reason I just mentioned it. Maybe because it's being connected with Obsessive Compulsive disorder in the media.

When things go wrong with things 8th House how does one fix them? How does one Stimulate the house that is considered the most Stimulating? What do we do when we've lost our Mojo? For one, the Astronomers have got to bring back Pluto. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Pluto was discovered in 1930, spun around in the limelight for 70 something years until the Astronomers pulled it off the shelf. Big mistake. Big one. I think they did that in August, 2007 right when the Financial Crisis began, didn't they? Really mysterious how this stuff works.

Obama's got some plans to fix the economy and I've listened to a few comments about whether they'll work or not. The infrastructure and a list of other stuff. Tourism is big on the list, that's weird. Somebody's gonna hafta come up with yet another Disneyland. Ho Hum. Not another Matterhorn. Perhaps a lost in Space type of situation where we send people out into orb and then don't tell them that they can't return. Just a polite "Bah Bye." Brutal Pluto in Capricorn type of stuff. I guess if we can't fix things it's because we're just thrashed. We'll have to coast in eternal gargoyle poverty for the next 10 years.

One commentator on NPR (don't remember name) mentioned that the 30s Depression Stimulus plans which are the ones that Obama is copying actually didn't help anything. Unemployment in 1939 was just as bad as unemployment in 1933. (If I heard this correctly) He said that the way that the economy is Stimulated is by helping the Corporations to get back on their feet. This was done by Kennedy and by Reagan. That sounds more correct by Astro Standards because this sort of feeds our Inner Hookers I suppose. I don't know anything about what was done during those times, but since one was done by a Democrat and one by a Republican I sort of figure there might be some sensibility in what the commentator said. No one mentioned what Clinton did. That's odd since he actually left the Country with a surplus. Clinton and Gore are Fire Signs and Fire works on enthusiasm... Kennedy and Reagan were Air Signs. That's only Sun Sign stuff but amazing how much info that stuff gives when you're feeling too lazy to look up the charts.

Either way, Corporations are definitely 8th House entities so it seems that this would work for a Stimulus plan. Corporations are kind of like legalized Prostitution. They don't really pay taxes but they do hire a lot of people. I suppose I should suggest legalized Pot but the stuff makes me so damn sick I can't help you slobs out with that.

Clinton raised Taxes but I believe the others lowered Taxes. Taxes are also a Stimulus.

I wonder how many of the Prozac generation are having Sex. Seems that stuff let the air out of a lot of jets with the old lowered libido stuff. We've pissed it all into the ocean and the fish aren't even having Sex anymore. And, of course, I never really thought the Pluto in Virgos and Pluto in Libras were that into it anyway. More like we just like to watch. Well, the Pluto in Scorpios may be able to get things back on track. Perhaps...

Wall imagery is coming up a lot for me lately. Must be the Mars-Saturn-Pluto transits I'm going through. More on that later, hopefully. Anyway, building walls and tearing them down is probably a very Plutonian type of cycle, well, the tearing down part at any rate.

UAL, Y'all

There was a really weird blip in the Stock Market on Monday. One can expect weird, random events with Sun opposing Uranus. A reporter who was researching United Airlines stories on the Internet pulled up an old bankruptcy story from 2002 and thought he had hit pay dirt because no one else knew about it. Turns out the Google search engine had attached the day's current date to the story from 2002. Oopsey. The Reporter reported his story and United Airlines' stock tanked. For about an hour it lost 75 percent of its value. It then went back up, almost, to its opening price. The speed at which this all occurred is unbelievable and of course has brought up all kinds of questions which need to be solved. With the Saturn-Pluto-Uranus t-square coming up, man, they better solve this Internet stuff fast. Talk about Computer Goofology transits. In this case, the Internet goofed. The Reporter goofed. What the Hell was going on with the 3d House? Answer: It was loaded with planets that were squaring the ASC.

I looked at the day's chart for the NYSE on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 Opening Bell: 9:30am, New York, NY. Libra was rising with Mars-Mercury-Venus still in conjunction. Venus rules this chart and she is conjunct Mercury here. Rulers of the Markets are indicated somehow. Mercury rules reporters and is conjunct Mars to the degree. Mars rules Rash behavior. Mercury-Venus-Mars-ASC are squaring (challenges) Jupiter which rules Journalism and Publishing as well. Jupiter is placed in and rules the 3d House of Journalism. Mercury and Mars squaring Jupiter will indicate exaggerations, misquotes, misinformation, but generally a really, really good story.

Don't know if I could have seen this coming through foresight but, in hindsight, this seems like a very easy to read event astrologically. The Sun opposing Uranus indicates Technology as does Mars conjunct the ASC. The Moon was in Sagittarius and also in the 3d house approaching conjunction with Pluto. That adds emotions to the 3d/9th house element. Pluto rules the Masses. At the height of the frenzy, the Moon was within 1 degree conjunction of Pluto in the 3d House. Jupiter and Sagittarius and Uranus and Aquarius all indicate something to do with Airlines.

Perhaps the Sun-Saturn in Virgo conjunction was the saving grace here. Saturn rules Caution and Virgo quickly grasps mistakes.

There are a couple other things I looked at in this chart. On his excellent blog, Jonah Lehrer discusses the event as a Herd Mentality thing. I'm writing this without my Rex Bills book so the Keywords will be my own -- probably a good reason to skip these paragraphs. I assume that Herds and Herding would be related to Virgo on a literal basis as Virgo rules Farm Animals. This is interesting since I just said that I thought that Sun and Saturn in Virgo were the saving grace for the quick fix to the problem. Oh well, the Stars will indicate a trend, they often don't indicate in which direction the trend will move. Virgo's ruler, Mercury, is conjunct Venus-Mars and the Ascendant as said before.

Pluto would be involved as it rules the Masses. The Moon which rules the Public is conjunct Pluto here. Uranus might be involved as well as it rules large groups of people, maybe not in the negative way though.

The Sun in the opening day chart is in the 11th House and is opposing Uranus. Random, unexpected events with sudden turnarounds. Check out the stock price chart for United Airlines that day. I mean, really, where's the epicenter to that earthquake?

Second thing I noticed by looking at United Airlines' chart for Date of Incorporation. United Airlines (incorporated Dec. 30, 1968, Delaware) chart is lit up by all kinds of aspects. Jupiter has been passing over United's natal Sun. That should be great for an Airline.

Here are some interesting progressions. Progressed Mercury has been moving Retrograde since between the mid-late 1980s sometime (sorry about lack of computer program right now). What a bad situation for an Airline as Mercury rules transportation. United's progressed Sun is also approaching conjunction with natal Venus in Aquarius. This is also the spot where t. Neptune, North Node and Chiron are at this point. The prog. Sun will be in exact conjunction in about 4 years about the same time that Progressed Mercury stations Direct at 1 Aquarius. There should really be big changes for the Airline at that time.
