Money Changes Everything

Just saw the quote on an advertisement for MSN.com saying that "money changes everything."

Astrology can improve that thought, I think. We can take that idea one step further, and into the realm of the taboo.

Taurus rules money and Taurus is a very conservative sign. I don't think that Taurus changes much. Taurus wants to accumulate.

However, scorpio is the sign opposite Taurus. And scorpio is related to deep transformation and change.

So, I think that the truly wise saying might be:

"Other people's money changes everything.". Along with sex, death and taxes. And personal power trips, of course.

Hopefully Not Taking a Shower with George Clooney

Well, I've been told that jail is the best sex you'll ever have (jokingly). Hope that's not too true because actor George clooney just got arrested yesterday for picketing for us to provide aid to end warcrimes in the Sudan. I suppose that he didn't really meet the inmates because he's rich and famous and his intentions were all noble, but I sure wouldnt want to take a shower in a place like jail if I looked like George clooney.

Clooney is 50 years old so he's going through his Chiron return. Natal Chiron in his chart is in the sign of Pisces which is the sign which rules charitable deeds and compassion for worldly failings. It also rules jail which is where georage ended up. His natal Chiron is strongly placed in Clooney's chart in conjunction with his ascendant from the Pisces 12th house. It is also in conjunction with his south node which shows that an event related to this aspect might not succeed as planned due to the fact that Herod too much of this stuff in a past life. Or because this is an already developed part of his innate being which must be balanced by situations related to north node. And that's maybe a little bit of a challenge for Clooney as his natal north node is in conjunction with his natal Pluto in Virgo. This guy wants to change the world through service. But, yeah, Pluto in Virgo can always indicate interactions with the police, even if, like me, they think you're awesome.

Funny how George Clooney is a Taurus with Capricorn moon, just like Hitler. I know, I know, as a cap moon myself I have to be told that cap moons are always fascists, especially by self professed healer types. When you think about it cap moon men make really beautiful male movie stars like Johnny depo and brad Pitt and George clooney. We women just really love a guy who is structurally perfect and looks like he doesn't really want to be there.

The transiting sun in Pisces would be in Clooney's first house, so that didn't help either. I didn't look up the transits beyond the Chiron return return thing.

Guy Fawkes and His BFF Tim Geithner (that's a joke)

This won't be a long post. (Oops)

I'm trying to write a post about how nobody ever gives Tim Geithner any credit. I don't hold much against him because the astrology right now pretty much says we're in a long term phase of financial depression that repeats the similar problems of the Long Depression that occurred at the end of the 19th century. That one lasted 20 years. I don't expect things to get better real fast this time, but I'm such a pessimist my opinions can be said to err on the down side. In other words, what do I know?

It's amazing to me that Geithner has managed to keep the stock market up at the high levels as it is. It hasn't really gone beyond a certain point, but it keeps heaving up and down, kind of like it's on a ventilator in a chemically induced coma. Just enough to let the 401ks juggle things around a bit.

Clearly Geithner's staging this stuff (strong Leo influence in his chart). It's a magic trick and an illusion.

But, right now, because no one ever gives Tim Geithner enough credit, everyone is giving Guy Fawkes a bunch of credit. Plus, the recession/depression has gone on too long. And some eco-marketing firm up in Canada had the brains to inject our instincts for mobbing into generally more constructive avenues. And there's some illusion in this as well. Magic Federal Reserve Chairman Boyfriend Ben Bernanke said he doesn't really blame them, the Occupy Wall St people. Some of them are sort of dumb and are burning small businesses down.

Bernanke loves a committee. Somehow I get the feeling that Tim Geithner doesn't. That's why Ben Bernanke is so loveable and why I keep forgetting to look at Geithner's chart maybe? Uranus loves a committee. Oh well, I won't go there.

I couldn't really figure out why the Guy Fawkes stuff is so popular right now, the Occupy Wall Street movement has only questions and no answers,

Then a gang stalker walked by me today (they stare extra long with a taunting we've got you bitch, you should see what I've just done to your car and your credit score and everyone you know). This guy had a Guy Fawkes beard, like he had dressed up like all the rest of the Guy Fawkes fans on November 5, and he was clearly pissed off with me for being white. Then it hit me. Sort of. It's the Catholics. The Catholics are protesting.

Geithner has a conjunction of Sun-Mercury-Uranus to the NN in Leo which explains the big forehead and mass of hair. He might also be grouchy because his thinking is erratic and he expresses himself verbally in ways that sometimes shock people. This stellium is unaspected except for an inconjunct to a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction (both retrograde) in Capricorn. That's lots of potent energy that doesn't flow easily. It helps that both signatures show high intelligence of some sort so Geithner is not going to be as at odds blending these energies as some of us might be.

Inconjuncts are minor aspects and their connection is very odd. The keyword for inconjuncts is "Adjustment." The signs that are connected don't share similarities which means they are difficult to express together. Both signs, Leo and Capricorn do rule talent for leadership. Geithner seems to be trying to fix the problem, but the problem may be outdated (Jupiter-Saturn in Capricorn Rx). At any rate, that Jupiter-Saturn thing shows that Geithner was born during a year which socially represents the top of the heap. There's a sense that we are falling backwards or down instead of upwards towards a common goal. Well, the Guy Fawkes people want to revel against the system too.

Sun-Mercury-Uranus-NN in Leo shows a lot of intuitive brains. It wouldn't be enough to hack Geithner's computers, you'd have to also hack his brain. And you'd have to be really really fast. The Leo and Capricorn shows that perhaps he doesn't like to work with others. It's partly that lack of flow thing I mentioned earlier. It's partly that he's got a Hero complex. It's partly other stuff which I'll continue to babble about.

People like people who flow. They make you feel like you're not stuck anywhere. Guy Fawkes had flow. At least his astro chart did. He had one and possibly two Grand Trines in his chart. AT execution time he jumped off the stage before he was hung in order to avoid the final humiliation.

I remember reading that Geithner didn't hire staff for a long time after taking his job as whatever his title is. This would be a very Leo/Capricorn kind of way of doing things. Leo has a Hero complex and Heroes tend to stand out by themselves.

I was just thinking the other day about how a Democracy is exactly the wrong type of political philosophy for getting countries out of the deep do-do that we're currently in. Everything takes too long by committee. Tyrants can get things done and that's not always a bad thing, except that sometimes they turn mean. Ben Bernanke likes committees. We all like Ben Bernanke. Ben is very smart, he's super cute, I tend to think that I'm watching a guy playing baseball rather than a world economy tanking, but Bernanke's forehead isn't as big as Geithner's. Interesting that both men are Fire Suns with Water Moons.

That's a lot of steam.

Back to Guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes was a rebel. That's how history talks about him right now at any rate. According to an astrology blog that was posted which I can't remember the name of, _--------- (it was British and it was really good), we don't know Guy Fawkes' birthday. He was christened on Apr. 16, 1570. People say he was born on Apr. 13, 1570 but nobody knows for sure.

My computer program says that Fawkes was a Taurus, not an Aries, because he was born during Old School calendar, same as Leonardo da Vinci. Taurus would explain why his name comes up in discussions about finances.

Taurus rules finances and art. Fawkes is known for his pointy chin goatee which seems like a Taurus thing since Taurus rules the lower jaw and neck area. Most people think he's an Aries Sun which he could be. Obviously I don't know, but isn't it interesting how people never assume that a person is a Taurus, have you ever noticed that?. I don't know what Old School and New School calendars mean. Someone once told me but I forgot. Something which has to do with what the Pope wanted. Funny how this post is supposed to be about people who are dealing with finances of our times and keeps turning intostuff about religions (which I've mostly edited out by now).

(I like the Buddhists. Remember the Buddhists? My Father said that Buddhism is the best religion but Buddhism doesn't work in the markets and that's why people don't embrace it. Well, except for Steve Jobs.)

Like I said, Fawkes would have had a lot of flow because he had at least one Grand trine. He could probably get away with more in life than most people can. Or at least he thought he could get away with more and then he got caught. He was born during an outer planet Grand Trine in Air. Jupiter 15 Aquarius trine Saturn 18 Libra Rx trine Neptune 20 Gemini. This Grand Trine is activated right now because this chart (Fawkes') is going through a Saturn Return.

The Apr. 13 date also gives another Grand Trine, this time in Earth, which would be activated by transiting Pluto right now. Sun 3 Taurus would be trine NN 6 Virgo trine Uranus 4 Capricorn Rx. Uranus rules rebellions, Sun rules Risk, so there you go. The guy was unpredictable and inspirational. And I think that Grand Trines are great for spies so he probably was good at working people.

Fawkes' Virgo NN might show why the Pluto in Virgo generation has a strong fascination with this guy. I'm sort of embarrassed to say that the V for Vendetta phenomenon began with a comic strip which is the best art form of my generation and a source of great embarrassment to me. Virgo seems to be strongly connected with the markets and material world and so is better with the graphics arts than with the "high arts". If it is great art nobody will want it until 100 years after you are dead and what smart Virgo is going to go along with that kind of pain? Oh well, power to the people who do crafty crap. And people who live in the middle class.

Kind of interesting that the Middle Class has pretty much disappeared from the Pluto in Virgo generation. That's a discussion which could go on and on so I'll avoid it. The anonymous hackers have found that they have a talent which they can get away with no matter how much pain it causes others so they are finding a great outlet in Fawkes and not Geithner the Leo who represents the old school idea to them. Geithner's chart shows a strong Romantic side so I think his generation sort of bugs him.

Right now Fawkes is going through a Mars Return in Leo. With Mars in Leo, Fawkes had a noble side as well as a foolish side, as do all Mars in Leos. He wanted to be heroic. He wanted to do the right thing. The New York Occupy people haven't killed anybody but there have been some problems in other places like Oakland and Oklahoma. Does it have something to do with place names that begin with the letter O, long form? Oakland always riots and the truth is this is because the people who live there are mean.

I wonder if this is mostly a 25-year old Boy thing overall. Especially White Boys. The government is trying to get them to perk up because they aren't eligible for Affirmative Action and they commit suicide a lot when they get older. Uranus is at 1 Aries which shows that the spark has to come before the plan. That's interesting. That's a lesson that Saturn has to learn.

Fawkes also had a square of Neptune 20 Gemini to Pluto at 23 Pisces. So he was born during a time when mysticism would have wreaked havoc amongst the peoples? There is probably more than the usual amount of stuff that people feel that they can't explain when Neptune and Pluto are in bad aspect with each other. They would have really struggled with things like Religions which are trying to explain it all away with some story about Virgins and a guy who will forgive for torturing him to death. Today with this long winding Neptune-Pluto sextile that keeps phasing in and out we are finding out about more mysteries through Science. Healers are still self professed and sometimes that gets a little stupid.

Back in Guy Fawkes' day, people probably did have mystical powers and it wasn't because they were trying so hard; or at least they figured they needed to develop mystical powers in order to deal with what life was throwing at them. People can never really fully know the powers of either Neptune or Pluto because we will never experience a full return of those planets to our natal charts. It sure is interesting that during the Age of Aquarius many of us can expect to live through our first Uranus Return, Age 83-84.

Right now, Fawkes' chart is also going through a Chiron Return conjunct Neptune. Chiron is at 27 Aquarius. That's an extra mystical Chiron Return which involves crowds of people and mobs. I'm just finishing that one up and I have the same Chiron placement within a degree. I got to be gang stalked by the scum of the earth who is now running around in Guy Fawkes' masks.

Weirdness, Geithner is also entering his Chiron Return. They have chiron in different signs. Fawkes in Aquarius. Geithner in Pisces. And, of course, it's just plain weird that I'm comparing their two charts in one blog.

Chiron in Aquarius: Healing and Failure of "The People." That's a universal problem for all of humanity to deal with. The Catholics have consistently failed to deal with this but they keep on waving their incense burners. Problem with the Catholics is that, as I said before, everywhere they go an Inquisition follows. I'm not fond of Religions because they separate people for no reason, but when you fail at money you tend to turn towards God so what else can a person do? The Catholics are probably actually rebelling only because Oprah went off the air. They need to be told that everything can be healed.

So, this brings me back to Tim Geithner who nobody gives credit to. Saturn and Jupiter Rx. His Father never gave him credit? He's strongly Leo so he's got more than the usual amount of confidence?

Problem with Leo is that the Stars never stay the same and the Sun constantly progresses and Leo Sun have it bad in that respect. You're all shiny and unselfconscious and then your Sun takes on the flavor of Virgo which sits there feeling embarrassed for everyone else. Then it moves into Libra and doesn't know what end is up. Do you want to drive or shall I? Do you want to open the window, or shall I? Libra can see all sides. That's only because Leo opens the heart and Virgo brings a sense of servitude. By the time they become shrinks later on in life Libras can pretty much articulate everything that bothers another person.

Geithner's Moon would be the real kicker in his chart and I can't really place it because I don't have his birth time. At noon it's in middle degrees Scorpio. At that point it's in conjunction with Neptune in Scorpio. Scorpio rules shared finances and very often that equals: Crises. People don't really like to share finances, if you want to be honest about it and that's one of Scorpios' little challenges.

Scorpio, like Leo, is a fixed sign so combined as they are here shows that Geithner has staying power. Unlike Leo Scorpio likes to rule from behind the scenes.

If Moon is in conjunction with Neptune, this combined with Mercury c. Uranus in Geithner's chart shows two strong psychic connections of very different styles. Mercury-Uranus is very quick and intuitive, but Moon conjunct Neptune in Scorpio shows a highly psychic person whose feeling levels defy speed, but who is probably not good at explaining what's going on in his mind. That's why Geithner's head looks like the popcorn is just about ready.

People don't like what they don't understand and if Geithner has both of these aspects together people might feel that they can't trust him. Oh well, end of rant.

The French Banker Guy Who Just Tried To Rape the Hotel Maid

Wow, if I saw that a guy had a natal NN, Mars, Sun, Venus type of stellium thingee on the Taurus-Aries cusp which was currently going to be hit by an exact conjunction of Mercury-Venus-Jupiter. And also that the mutual reception of the 2 Planets of Love are in mutual reception with each other both in the natal chart and the transiting chart. I'd say "Party on, Dude!"

And that would be Bad Advice.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn is the head of some global banking thing and was in the lead to win the election for President of France and now all that's pretty much gone because of what he did last week. And that's because he attacked a maid at a fancy hotel he was staying at in New York City. The astrolocality is fascinating. His Sun-Venus Ascendant lines are running right through New York. Not only is that great for a Banker, but it's great for a partier. And so, I also would have looked at that and thought "Party on, Dude."

And, again, that would have totally sucked in the Advice Department.

So, I looked at his progressed chart. There's some serious self-undoing stuff in his 12th House. For one, he's got the sign of Cancer intercepted in there. That means that natal Moon in Aries will play out prominently in the life. Or it just means that his 12th House is extra large and he's going to have to experience a whole lot of that house's influence in his life.

Natal Moon in Aries can have aggression issues if the rest of the chart doesn't balance it out in some way. This guy has Aries North Node conjunct ruler Mars which just focuses more energy in that direction. He's had problems before with his aggressive streak. Some French Guy on TV last night said that his behavior tends to go beyond what is normal for French Men.

The clinker is that the Banker guy is having a progressed New Moon at 4-5 degrees Cancer which is, as I said, intercepted in the 12th house of self undoing. And p.Uranus is at 1 Cancer. You know Uranus had to show up because somebody pulled the Joker Card out of this deck.

New Moons are thought to bring new Beginnings and Uranus promises that it won't turn out as planned.

In addition, this chart is just getting hacked to bits by the outer planet t-squarery from Saturn-Pluto-Uranus as well. It's already tripping off his natal Moon-Lilith in Aries opposition to Neptune in Libra. Yuck. Uranus is on Moon-Lilith. And Saturn is on Neptune in Libra. And they're opposing each other and squaring the progressed New Moon.

Uh oh, 12th house is jail. It's also secret enemies, even if your secret enemy is yourself. I mean, it would be so easy to set this guy up right now.

Wow, famous men need to stay out of hotels these days. Probably all of us do. A couple of months ago I stayed in a Holiday Inn that had 9 security cameras planted in to the ceiling of just one hallway. It was unbelievable.

At least he chose the right profession for his Taurus Sun.

Venus and the 8th Cranial Nerve

I've never really been able to get a handle on how Venus could manage to rule the two signs that she does until last week when I learned about how the 8th Cranial Nerve works in the Human Body.

Basically, the two signs that Venus rules seem sort of unrelated. Taurus rules Money and Values, Physical Sensations like Touch. Libra rules Marriage, One on one relationships, open enemies, Balance & Harmony. Now I'm really wondering what genius astrologer from ancient times knew enough about the human body to link these two signs together through Venus' rulership.

The signs are set in to the astrological wheel with a Quincunx relationship to each other. This means that they don't share similarity by Element or by Modality(?). If they want to relate at all they require constant "Adjustment" of their own natural tendencies.

Taurus is Earth and Fixed.

Libra is Air and Cardinal.

When astrologers refer to Venus and her rulerships they almost always default to the Libra signatures (unless the market has just tanked, of course). This could be because Libra belongs to the Cardinal Signs and rules an angle on the Astrological Wheel. The angles are considered a stronger influence in natal charts. Libra kicks off the start of the Autumn Equinox. I'm not sure if she kicks off the start of the football season as well. That could be another post I guess if I liked football even a tiny bit, but I don't.

It is sort of odd that the Planet which rules Harmony and Love rules two signs which can't relate to each other in anything but an artificial way, but I'm pretty sure that most Libras, if not Tauruses, would agree that there's probably something to this. Adjustment, along with compromise, are probably the two major hurdles to get past in having any real relationships with anyone. (Well, maybe not with stalkers and Plutonians, but, like football, that's another post).

The one thing that both signs tend to share some similarity with each other is through their love of beauty, the arts, and leisure. When looking at the charts of musicians one always looks at Venus first. Through Taurus, Venus rules resonance of the human voice. Through Libra, one looks for Harmony and Balance.

So, I've been finding really amazing relationships between stages of Child Development and when the first planetary cycles occur in a child's life. The completion of a planetary return seems to equate very closely with basic stages of development in children.

Since studying childrens' charts in this way I've been most fascinated by the Venus Cycles. Venus seems to play an interesting role in cognitive development that I don't generally hear discussed by astrologers.

In order to understand this better I bought a set of Brilliant College Lectures from The Teaching Company. Gotta get the real title, it's about Aging and Sensation in Humans.

The lecture on hearing is really revealing about how Venus rules the areas of the body that she does. Hearing is controlled by the 8th Cranial nerve. That number alone suggests the Venus Cycle as the Sun-Venus Retrograde Cycle is one of the more exact planetary cycles and takes 8 years to complete. During that 8 year cycle, the Sun will be in conjunction with Venus 5 times during times that she is retrograde.

Taurus is said to rule the ears and physical sensations relating to touch. Taurus is also often related to hearing. I suspect that Saturn and Mercury are also involved as well, maybe even Mars because of the role that the eardrum plays, probably other signatures. I'm definitely not a Medical Astrologer.

The way that the neurology of hearing works strongly relates to Taurus rulerships. I remember the Hierophant card of the Tarot deck which is related to the sign of Taurus. The Hierophant is a Philosophical and Religious Leader with very big ears and a great sense of hearing.

The lecturer of the Teaching Company tapes explains that hearing is actually a very acute system of touch. The ear hears by picking up on very slight movements of air molecules. So, this very simply explains how Taurus can rule hearing.

What's interesting is how Taurus and Libra are connected through the nervous system. Hearing is controlled in the human body by the 8th cranial nerve. Hearing in the Taurus sense has to share use of this nerve with the Vestibular System. I haven't gotten to that lecture yet, but the Vestibular system is what rules "balance" in the human body. And that's the major keyword for Libra! There is all kinds of talk about how hearing doesn't work well along the mid-line of the body. Mid-line has such Libra like connotations.

Probably have the information a bit skewed and was writing notes while driving so as I understand it:

There are a few different categories for understanding human hearing. One equates roughly to range (pitch, high/low). Another relates roughly to amplitude (decibels, loud/quiet). Another relates to being able to eco-locate, to determine where sound is coming from. It turns out that the human ear can locate where a sound is coming from unless the sound is directly in front of, behind, or above the midline of the head. There's the mid-line Libra element!

So, Libra is probably related to 1/3 of how humans hear. And Astrologers wanting to understand human hearing must pay attention to that sign as well. Libra will perhaps rule things like Sonar which require ecolocation. I always assumed that Bats, which use ecolocation, are ruled by Pluto, but maybe not.

(and, with hearing, Saturn is going to be in there as well because there are bones in the human ear which create resonance) (And I suppose, actually, that Mars will be related for perhaps ruling drums, as in eardrum, vibration).

Dangerous Space Station Repairs

Two astronauts are tethered to the Space Station right now in the 1st of a 2-day long mission to switch out a busted 780 pound Ammonia Pump which has crippled the Air Conditioning on the Space Station.

With Pluto conjunct the North Node I suppose, but won't commit to the idea, that things can go wrong in outer space for earthlings. That's because of previous research and that amazing article about the Challenger over at Learning Curve on the Ecliptic blog. Pluto and the North Node are in a difficult t-square aspect to the Saturn opposition to Jupiter and Uranus and these planets are in prominent places at the Beginning of Cardinal Signs on the Astrological Wheel.

The Sun is in Leo today and the Moon is in Cancer. I have to look up what rules Air Conditioning and cooling systems. Circulatory Systems are ruled by Uranus. Coolness would be indicated by Earth and Water and I'll have to find Rex Bills to know what else specifically.

And I also need to know what the Space Station's sign is.

The Heroic Astronauts who are doing today's job are both Fixed Signs and their natal Sun are being challenged by the transiting Sun. The Sun is courageous and likes a Challenge and an Adventure. Both astronauts have Moon either in Leo or Virgo. Leo for keeping things upbeat and Virgo for doing a good job.

Douglas H. Wheelock has a natal Grand Earth Trine between Jupiter 4 Capricorn Rx, Mercury-Venus 2-3 Taurus and Pluto 4 Virgo. Today's Pluto is conjunct his natal Jupiter and so it and the rest of the transiting planets in the t-square are testing how much such and good luck Wheelock can have.

Tracy Caldwell Dyson has an interesting transit right now. She is not only going through her Uranus Opposition (innovation, space travel, electrical, gadgets) but she is going through a Jupiter Opposition. That is, Dyson has a natal conjunction of Jupiter-Uranus at beginning degrees Libra which is opposed right now by the transiting Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries. Since a person going through this aspect would feel like he is walking around in anti-gravity boots anyway it's pretty awesome that this astronaut is doing it for realsies. I used to have a great roommate named Tracy who shares Dyson's birthday.

Dyson has a natal conjunction of Pluto 24 Virgo to South Node 23 Virgo which is reflected in today's aspect.

Her progressed Sun, Mercury and Uranus are also at the beginning of Libra and connected into the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction. That sure does add to the imagery of electrical tape and monkey wrenches. This squares progressed Mars at 3 Capricorn. She has a lot of progressed planets which have just changed signs so she's definitely entering a new phase of life.

The Cancer Moon today is passing over Dyson's natal Venus-Lilith conjunction. Doug Wheelock has a conjunction of Sun and Venus at 4 degrees Cancer. This hooks into the t-square transit and the Moon as well. They are covering each others' backs right now. They are probably talking about how much they miss real food and their families. Of course, that's where the Moon is according to us earthlings. I have no idea where it is from the vantage point of the space station.

The Two Into the One.

Yahoo News posted an article celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the bra. Should have read through the whole thing to figure out how they come up with 100 years but once I figured that they weren't planning on giving dates I had to go somewhere else. I'd sort of like to think that the big wigs at Yahoo sometimes don't have their facts straight. Maybe they were just flumoxed by their subject. More likely I don't have my facts straight. Either/Or, Check this out.

The idea for the Bra in its relatively modern form was "born" in 1913 by a New York Socialite Mary Phelps-Jacobs. This was the year that Pluto was moving from Gemini into Cancer. In a sense, "the twins" had found a new "home."

Jupiter was in conjunction with Uranus in Aquarius. Can't find a more freedom loving combo than that.

Saturn was in conjunction with Pluto at 2-3 degrees Cancer, showing how the Twins were going Corporate in their new home.

Unfortunately Mary couldn't manage to sell her new product. Mercury was Retrograde on this date at 20 Scorpio.

Weird Coincidence on New Years

So, I just hammered down an entire bottle of Welch's Grape Juice, a $4.99 bottle from Trader Joe's which was recommended by a red-faced lady who was buying up practically an entire case' worth tonight (said that for 5 bucks it's an unbelievable deal).

And, so, like I said I was wondering.

You know Bernie Madoff, who "madoff" with everyone's money (heard that use of his last name from David what's his name, funny comedian, on the Tonight show I think). Anyway, Madoff has a list of 14,000 victims at last count. People and charities who he screwed out of zillions. Boy, and some of those charities, Capricorn Moon that I am, I just don't see it happening, but some of these other guys, they just go ahead and take.

Anyway, I started thinking about Madoff's list. And the idea of "list" sunk in and I thought of "Schindler's List." about Oskar Schindler. And so look at these guys' charts. They really line up. Born within a day of each other, same Mars sign (Gemini), same Saturn Sign (Aries). Maybe they even had the same Moon Sign (Aries) .

You can see how hard it is to read a person, let alone an astrological chart. Can't you? (probably not)

It all swings one way, or then it swings the opposite way. Good and bad. Both men are Taurus Suns concerned with business and greed. Either way, we can see how a Taurus Sun is concerned with finances and accumulations of said funds. When progressed Sun hits natal Mars in Gemini, dude gets overly clever and confident, does his own thing for good or bad.

Taurus rules the alphabet. Gemini rules categories and lists. So, I suppose that's the connection with lists. And with money.

But look at the Nodes. That shows the person's destiny/fate/whateverthehell you call it. Schindler has NN in Cancer conjunct Neptune opposing Uranus and squaring Saturn, maybe Moon. That's some real outer planet awareness of others. He had to have to think about doing good for humanity at some point.

Madoff had NN in Scorpio with Venus-Mars conjunct South Node, all squared by Jupiter in Aquarius. He just thought of the opportunity, the ability to finess, his personal magnetism.

Actually, well, both had Venus-Mars conjunctions, different signs, so they both even had that connection with each other. It helps to have charm. Schindler's NN was in Gemini, so his secretary was literally important to his personal path in life. He deferred much to Ben Kingley's character, if you know what I mean. Madoff's NN was in Scorpio so at some point he was going to deal with revenge.

Anyway, I don't have the answers. I'm just yapping away here with hopes that only intelligent people will read this and not mis-interpret it.

Happy New Year! Remember, what you think you know, maybe it's not true. Maybe a kernel of it is true and all the rest is silliness. Maybe all of it is true but there is nothing you can do about it (unless you're highly educated and well credentialed, so please go to school).

Please doubt yourself (Saturn), for the sake of humanity (Uranus). Please express yourself (Sun, Mars) for the sake of humanity (Uranus) as well. Use discernment to do the right thing (Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius).

1957 problems

Something weird is in the air. Is that a Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune in Aquarius thing?

Successful men are getting caught left and right and it happens that they are all born in the same year, 1957. So, I'm thinking there is some sort of problem going on with the Stars that's affecting the 1957'ers. Is this a case of desperate Middle Age Men hitting both the wall and economic hard times at the same time in life? Is it fall all out from Chiron Returns? Let's just say that in the United States you are innocent until proven guilty so we don't know for certain who did what (but, for the sake of being a jerk I'll probably accuse all of them).

Astrology-wise, ooo wow, looka dose planets. Both Neptune and Pluto were changing signs in 1957 so were near the first degrees of their new signs when when these three men were born. Neptune moved to Scorpio and Pluto moved to Virgo. This means that Pluto's current transit is aspecting both of these outer planets. And when Neptune and Pluto are working together things just ball up and go -- poof.

Virgo and Scorpio both make easy aspects to Capricorn and so how can this be? Some astrologers don't even look at easy transits. Well, Saturn and Uranus are moving in and out of squares with transiting Pluto as they are approaching the big Cardinal t-square aspect to Pluto so the old Scorpion has bedfellows, and these big outer planet bedfellows that pick you up by the nape of your neck and carry you where they please. And that long Venus Rx transit in Aries last Fall stressed Pluto. And Mars just finished opposing Pluto. And the Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune transit is so counter intuitive for the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto stuff that the outies are moving in opposite directions of each other.

Are we coming or are we going? Is the market going up or is the market going down? Are the icebergs melting? (well, that's looking like a one-way street, and, by the way, when the interest rates go up the market goes down and the interest rates are down as low as they can go, and if the bankers just returned their damned bonuses the markets would probably level out.)

First on the check list this past month was New Age Spiritual Warrior James Arthur Ray. Because of the Ooga Booga aspect of this guy's job this certainly sounds like a no-brainer Chiron in Aquarius type of story. "Wounded Teacher of the Weirdos." That's perfect.

Took me about 4 days of internet searches to separate this guy from his historical almost namesake, James Earl Ray, who was the guy who killed Martin Luther King. You'd think that a New Age Guru would have changed his name by now in order to avoid summoning up any creepy old assassins but this guy seems to think he can transcend just about anything. Anyway, there seems to be a similar obsession with death between the two which is really creepy.

The story is, James Arthur Ray is the guy who set up the Spiritual Warrior Retreat in Sedona, AZ which ended in armageddon. About 60-65 people with absolutely no sense in their heads crammed into a plastic tent. They had been on a 40 hour fast and had been doing special hyperventilating techniques all week. Ray is now maybe facing homicide charges for negligence because three people died and around 20 went to the hospital. Really scary is the fact that Ray won't talk to police. And he hasn't gone to the hospital to help the sick. And he's continuing with his preaching. Hehehehe, and now we get a lesson in seeing how Spiritual Warriors slither out of their stupid human tricks. Remember, Jim Jones and his followers? Guess this is the same thing, Spiritul Kool-Aid.

Ray apparently told people that it would feel like they were dying and so they didn't get up and walk out just because they felt uncomfortable. How can anyone trust anybody else that much?

First thing, I wondered when I heard about this, I was curious to know if Ray is a Pluto in Virgo rather than a Pluto in Leo person. Pluto in Virgo can't mock the death rays the way that Pluto in Leo can because Pisces is always on the other end of its axis waiting to end things. The Leo flip side is Aquarius, collective consciousness. The Virgo flip side is Pisces, end o' the line, institution, victimization, and damn fine artists (the other qualities is why the Pluto in Virgo generation doesn't seem to be producing much great art, who wants to go there, after all?)

Ray's chart is extremely interesting in this case because he's a double Sagittarius with Sun squaring Pluto. Without a birth time we don't know the Moon's placement but the Moon may also be squaring Pluto. That would make a New Moon squaring Pluto in his birth chart. Since I don't know the birth time, I won't say anything about the Moon though.

But, Sun-Pluto in a square together reads on a very simple level "Ego challenges Power". Sun-Pluto people think they are transformers. They sort of turn spirituality into a tonka truck game because of this. Remember Lenny from Of Mice and Men? Thing is, they are "manifesters." They are very creative, of course, but they can also through use of will, create. Sometimes they can be lacking in vision and intelligence and compassion and that can be a drag. And, they have to watch out what they ask for and talk about because these two planets manifest absolutely everything, especially the deep, dark fears, that go through the native's head due to Pluto's need to confront all that is taboo. These people struggle with loneliness like you wouldn't believe.

Ray actually has four planets in Sagittarius. Sun, Moon, Mercury and Saturn Rx. This shows boundless enthusiasm and a buoyant spirit. It also can indicate a "Confidence Man" type of personality. Sagittarians don't really admit when they do wrong. They're used to getting away with things by use of their charms. That's why grumpy, guilty, karma tripping Capricorn has to follow. Pluto is passing from one of these signs to the other right now.

Donna Cunningham has written a great blog about Ray's chart on her website "Skywriter.com." She concentrates on Ray's natal Mars-Neptune-NN conjunction in Scorpio. I suppose I'd prefer to see that aspect in an old surfer myself, but New Age Guru sounds appropriate too.

Please also notice other aspects that play right into the Scorpio North Node, plus Mars and Neptune. One is a very prominent square between Venus and Jupiter in Rays' chart. Both planets have prominence and demand to be noticed. First, Venus in Capricorn is prominent because she has recently turned Retrograde by Progression over Ray's natal Chiron. In the progressed chart they are both conjunct to the degree. Venus rules everything that Ray seems to talk about in his lectures. Things having to do with wealth. Chiron represents the great sage who could teach others how to heal themselves but couldn't heal his own wounds. Venus going retrograde can be an assault on one's loveability. Ray won't admit it but just as his star was beginning to shine in 2003-4 his charms were actually dimishing. Wonder if he sold it -- his soul that is.

The second element of this square, Jupiter, is prominent in Ray's chart because it is a singleton in Air and is the dispositor of Ray's Sun and Moon, Mercury and Saturn. Also, by Secondary Progression it has just changed signs and has moved into Scorpio. Scorpio, Scorpio, Scorpio. Death, Sex and Taxes.

And Jupiter's influence keeps going. Ray's progressed Jupiter is now in conjunction that natal Neptune-Mars-NN conjunction which shows off his guru stuff. This, of course, sets off everything having to do with his destiny as ruled by the North Node. Strange how there's a mirror-image Jupiter-Neptune transit in the sky right now in conjunction with Chiron (Wounded Healer). This influence is so compounded right now in Ray's chart, it's scary. Plus, like I said, Sagittarius doesn't admit to wrongs committed and Neptune, well Neptune in an emergency just freaks out and runs. That's actually not bad. If you're useless in an emergency better to get the hell out than to stand around and cry the way I do.

And, so, this all ties right back into Ray's progressed Venus-Chiron conjunction because the two sets of planets are in the same spot with each other 15-25 Aquarius right now. And not only that but they were passing over the Ascendant just as this Sweat Lodge in Sedona began. And in addition to that they were involved in a Grand Trine with the Sun and the Moon on the day of the tragedy. There you go with more positive aspects. The fact that the people at the sweat lodge were suffering and didn't either ask for help or just get up and walk out demonstrates Noel Tyl's interpretation of the Grand Trine aspect, which is just that, people under this aspect influence don't seem to be able to reach out and ask for help. (Of course, people born with a Grand Trine are generally given help).

As I said, as of 2003-4, Ray's progressed Venus has been moving in Retrograde motion. That bodes ill for a person's loveability (sp?) quotient. Venus is related to one on one relationships and to self-esteem related to material wealth. It's almost as if Venus tempted him with extreme amounts of these wonderful things and now is going to pull it all out from under him. I actually can't find any information about Ray's relationship status, married, single, gay, straight, but that would seem to be involved in some way.

Ray's got to go through this kind of hell because he's got a natal square between Sun and Pluto, both power planets that manifest a person's deepest fears in the real world. The square likes to throw big challenges at you related to whatever planets it hooks together.

James Arthur Ray

Moving on, another 1957 guy, one of the United States' richest men, Raj Rajaratnam, Hedge Fund Manager. Rajaratnam's company, Galleon Group, has been making 10 percent income in spite of everyone else's losses. That's less than what Bernie Madoff was making but is still pretty good. Rajaratnam has been arrested for Insider Trading. I can't make heads or tails out of the situation, it was like this with Martha Stewart too. This is more complicated high finance games that I don't understand. This guy was prodding his employees to get "the edge."That's the only story we get and my reaction is "Welcome to the States, mean bastard. You will do well here." Can you really be arrested for this though? Guess I don't have the full story. Anyway, this guy also has a weird name. It's like his parents were stuttering on his last name when they wrote the info down for the birth certificate, like Eric Ericson, Sam Samson. Why bother giving the kid a first name at all? Maybe it's only a nickname.

This guy gets arrested during his Mars Return in Cancer. His progressed Mars and Pluto are in conjunction at the end of Leo. What is that Star that hangs out at the end of Leo? It's a sign of great success and then loss of great success. Maybe he did get a little too aggressive. A Gemini Sun with a Cancer Mars guy is going to be a little bit of a mood swinger. He's been arrested so he must be getting messed up by the Neptune transit in some way. My computer is getting messed up by something else so I can't really look it up right now.

And moving on from that another 1957 guy, Stewart Nozette, a bigwig Scientist with the Feds, has been caught and arrested for trying to sell information to the Israelis. Aren't the Israelis our allies? Do they need to buy our secrets? They probably made our secrets. Why bother going over the Government's head on that one? This guy was one of the scientists who was responsible for thinking that there may be water on the Moon and I know that the scientists are really bored by how boring the bombing was. Something about not being able to see a plume after the bomb was dropped. Maybe the bomb missed the target and no one wants to admit it.

I do know that this Moon failure thing brings us back to the big Saturn-Uranus-Pluto t-square in the sky that is trying to resolve itself through its Geminian/Cancerian empty leg.

This guy, Stewart Nozette, like the Guru, has a Sun-Pluto square as well. The Moon in his chart is also possibly involved in a t-square with Sun and Pluto.

So, anyway, these guys have the Scorpio North Nodes which is said to be a toughie. The Pluto transit is just really hooking them in. Frightening. Okay, so I've got major computer weirdness and am going to have to quit.

Elevator Music

Okay, this is another blog inspired by an NPR Moment. Not a driveway moment; almost crashed into oncoming while trying to write this stuff down, if you know what I mean, but today we had a light topic. Actually, I can't remember the topic. I just remember that a caller called in and told a story about how Elevator music was born:

Way back when. Long before Elevator Music was called Elevator Music it was called Furniture Music. The year was 1917. That's how long ago it was in that dark bordello in Paris, France where music composer Eric Satie was tinkering away on his piano while the French were doing what they say Americans are too prudish to do.

Eric Satie realized that nobody was really listening to his brilliant compositions. They just wanted ambience for their French past-times.

So Eric Satie wrote "The Gymnopedies." These are very simple pieces that you sort of play over and over again. And nobody wants you to .... stop. These songs are very slow and harmonic and relaxing in sort of minor key kind of way and they songs ended up being a major influence on the 20th Century New Music movement, especially in California where nobody has enough talent or discipline to play anything more complicated. I think that "Gymnopedies" is a Greek word for Funeral Dance, so you can see what a fine wit Eric Satie was. I used to perform them at weddings along with "Feelings" and the theme song from "The Godfather."

So, there you have it. 1917. Pluto in Cancer at 4 degrees pretty much opposite the spot where it is now. I've been hoping and praying that Pluto in Capricorn will bring back music. Cancer just wants to return to the womb, but Capricorn wants to play music, n'est-ce pas? I don't think many of us in the Pluto in Virgo generation really knows what music is, pop, elevator or, you know, the boring stuff.

Eric Satie's chart is all music-y. He was a Taurus Sun with Cancer Moon and Leo Rising.

Unfortunately, Satie had Saturn in the 4th House of Home which opposes Pluto in Taurus. That's kind of a dark aspect. Possessions are ruled by Taurus, and that's where Satie's Sun (Ego) already is. Now he's got restrictive Saturn in his 4th House almost ensuring that he doesn't have any furniture of his own. Especially when it's opposite Pluto in the sign of Furniture.

What's a Shiny Leo Riser to do with these aspects? Squeezes the Lemons and Makes the Lemonade. Starts a whole new page in musical history both intellectually and anti-intellectually. (Progressed Mercury was conjunct his Ascendant at the time).

Satie's chart has this incredible conjunction of Mars conjunct Neptune on Aries Midheaven which is conjunct his South Node (What you're known for). Mars-Neptune is squaring a conjunction of Moon-Uranus in Cancer. If it weren't for the imaginative Moon and Neptune on top of the Technological Mars and Uranus he could have been a rocket scientist instead.

Anybody for the 5th Floor? I'm feeling a tune comin on.

Outer planets in 1917 were: Jupiter in Taurus (Possessions), Saturn in Cancer (Depression), Uranus in Aquarius (Elevators), Neptune in Leo (pop music), Chiron Pisces/Aquarius (major woundings through said rulerships), NN Capricorn (climbing, insecurities about being seen?).

Through the Peephole with Erin Andrews

One of the biggest nightmares of being a single woman staying in a hotel is, well, it's all kinds of things. The boogers and unmentionable body hairs on the pillows and the towels. The bed bugs. The cigarette smoke. The goopy gop on the remote control. The Salad Dressing that gets added to your Conditioner. The cooking grease that gets added to your Lotion. The fact that when the maid is having a bad day she will scrub everything in the room with toilet water, including the drinking glasses and the coffee pots. But one of the biggest problems facing women in particular are the security measures. How can you look into one of those mirrors and not wonder if they are two way mirrors. How can you ever feel safe in a room with the connecting doors with the flimsy locks. How do you know if the smoke alarms aren't rigged with cameras. Well, it turns out that these phobias are now officially considered real problems. A beautiful blond bombshell sports caster this year found a video of herself walking around naked in a hotel room being played on porn sites all over the Internet. Because of her fame I guess she found out about this so in a sick sort of a way she is lucky. She can pursue the violators and seek justice. And, because of her fame, Andrews is made all the greater a victim.

Anyway, just thought I'd take a look at the Sportscaster's chart since I've found a birth date for her. At this point I sort of wonder if it would be the correct date, source is Wikipedia.

Erin Andrews
b. May 4, 1978 Lewiston, Maine

Sun 14 Taurus; Moon Aries; NN 4 Libra

News reports are saying that the video was first identified with Andrews on Feb. 17, 2009. It is thought that the hotel is in Omaha, Nebraska where Andrews was staying during the College World Series. I don't have a date for the event. Nobody is being given the name of the hotel chain, but, boy, wouldn't we like to know.

First off, I noticed that Andrews has a t-square of Sun in Taurus opposing Uranus in Scorpio and squaring Mars in Leo. A hard aspect like this could show why Andrews, a woman, would choose the job, a man's job, that she has. This is a very masculine combination set together in a challenging way with each other. Uranus likes to express itself through unusual outlets and being a female in a man's sports world would not bother Andrews as much as it would others. This combination also carries an element of surprise and unexpected events which unfold throughout the life.

Andrews Sun is conjunct her Chiron as well. Chiron is a teacher and suffers a wounding that she can help others with through her own suffering. It's very interesting that Andrews' Sun-Chiron conjunction has arced to 6-14 Gemini right over her natal Venus at 9 Gemini. This means that the entire stressful t-square, which indicates a very masculine energy) is hammering on the planet in her chart which indicates her female nature. As Venus rules her North Node (indicator of Destiny) this is affecting her more than it might others (don't know if that is a legitmate interpretation but will put it in).

The other planet which typically shows how a woman expresses herself is, of course, the Moon. Don't have a placement for Andrews' Moon except to say that in her noontime chart (assuming this is the correct chart), it will be placed in the middle of Aries so it is very probably in that sign. This is another masculine aspect. As the moon indicates how a person's feelings emerge through the subconscious, this is not always an easy match for a woman to deal with. Her natural tendency is to be open and forthright and aggressive, not necessarily classical female traits by society's standards. Her natural instinct will be to put herself first. This can offend.

First off, it's good to keep in mind Planetary Rulerships while looking at this chart. Rex Bills says that Saturn and Moon rule Embarrassment; Pluto rules Victims. One's sexuality is represented mostly by Pluto, Venus, Mars among others. Pluto rules Spying.

Very interesting here is to notice that Andrews may have a wide conjunction/opposition of Moon c. Mercury opposing natal Pluto. This would be set over the Nodal Axis in her chart. Pluto conjunct the Libra North node will bring some times of crisis to an individual as well as a drive for personal power. It will be interesting to see what experts determine was the method of peeping used. Hopefully the perpetrators will be found. Since Mercury and Moon are co-rulers of "mirrors" and these two planets are possibly conjunct Andrews' natal South Node it will be interesting to see if the spying was done through 2 way mirrors. First the media reported that the cameras were thought to be installed in the peephole in the door. Now they say that they think that there was a connecting door to another room. It seems odd that a celebrity would be put into one of these types of rooms since they are so much less private and secure.

It's interesting how the Venus Retrograde in Aries from last Spring spent such a long time transiting over Andrews' natal NN-Mercury-possibly Moon. She found out about the videos in February. They became a source of greater and greater embarassment over the time of that whole transit. Venus was co-joined by Mars and was squaring Pluto at certain points as well. Transiting Pluto is moving into square with Andrews' natal North Node in Venus and then will spend a few years moving into square aspect with her natal Pluto. So, she will constantly be learning to develop a lot of psychic protection and empowerment skills during this time. Hopefully she will be able to use her Celebrity (Pluto) to help other women. (She's already doing that through her job as it is).

Andrews' North Node is ruled by Venus which rules Women and her South Node is ruled by Mars which rules Men so it's interesting to see how this conflict of gender roles is playing out in her life.

Neptune rules Filming and so it's no surprise to see that Andrews' is receiving a stressful transit from that planet right now. The conjunction of t.Neptune-Jupiter-Chiron is opposing Andrews' natal Saturn in Leo. Remember, Saturn rules embarrassment. Saturn and Neptune together can often indicate a victimization that leads to greater sensitization to some sort of problem in society.

And Lilith, crazy angry Lilith who needs female survival revenge Justice, just had to check out that placement. Back in February, Lilith was in Conjunction with t.Pluto which as I said is within conjunction of Andrews' North Node (Destiny). She was also going through a Lilith opposition. Her natal Lilith is in Cancer conjunct Jupiter. The Pluto-Jupiter opposition is playing out here as regards to her fame. Steven Dale Green - Rapist-Murderer-Soldier

Very quickly I looked up the man who has just been convicted for the Iraqi gang rape-murders. Wikipedia shows that he was born in 1985 same year as the rape victim Jamie Leigh Jones who I just blogged about.

Green has a Sun-NN conjunction in Taurus so he is definitely tied in with the difficult Taurus/Scorpio energy. I've mentioned before that I remember Komilla Sutton as saying that this is the most difficult Nodal Axis to have. I think I also remember that she said that a Sun-North Node conjunction is also the most difficult contact because the Sun and North Node compete for attention and quash each other's energies.

Green has a Mars-Chiron conjunction in Gemini. By all accounts he has had a problem with anger related to a bad upbringing through his parents' divorces and alcohol problems, etc. Mars is Anger and Chiron is a wounding that one can't heal but which one can teach others from. A Mars-Mercury combination often express anger because they are so quick. In this case, on the day of Green's crime, this conjunction was heavily afflicted as he was having a Mars Return and also his progressed Sun, already mentioned as being a little unhappy in his natal chart, was within conjunction in Gemini. His Mars is also apex of a Yod to a Neptune-Pluto sextile. This shows that Green's problems are related to family secrets that he subconsciously brought to a head. This would definitely not be a combination of planets that I would want to work out myself. (he's probably a great dancer and would have had some talent for martial arts).

This whole group of 19 year olds with Taurus-Scorpio Nodal Axis went to Iraq during the worst part of the War when the morale was extra low. The problem kids were allowed through because the Army was desperate for volunteers. If the Army had been even slightly careful they would have never let in a kid with Green's past. Not only that but they sent him to the most violent area. This was a kid who was arrested for smoking pot as a teen and didn't give either of his parents' names to the police as contacts because the parents were so unreliable. His commander had recently died in his arms while they were being shot at. The heavy Taurus/Scorpio Nodal Axis in play? Looks like it.

It's official, the 80s are back. As the Sun rolls into Taurus, the fashion runways are exploding with Shoulder Pads. Women are once again going to be dressing up like linebackers. Just plan on penciling in the black kohl under the eyes. It must be something having to do with outer planets in Capricorn. Let me guess here -- once the knees give out people want to look like they can still barge into any board room and make the sale?

Passing of Natasha Richardson

Actress Natasha Richardson shockingly passed away today due to injuries caused by a fall during a skiing lesson. She was only 45 years old. She is survived by her husband, actor Liam Neeson, and two sons and famous family including mother Vanessa Redgrave and sister Joely Richardson.

This chart is really eerie to read, after the fact. The progressions and solar arcs confirm the transits and I'll only mention the transits.

Death is said to show up in one's chart through the 8th House and through the 12th and 4th Houses which show endings in one way or another. The 1st House or Ascendant rules the Physical Body.

Accidents are ruled by a combination of Mars and Uranus due to Mars' tendency to act rashly and Uranus' tendency to create sudden, shocking events. Transiting Mars, Jupiter, Chiron, Neptune are all in opposition aspect of some sort to Richardson's natal Mars 20 Leo-Uranus 1 Virgo. This past week-end transiting Mars was passing over the Aquarius-Pisces cusp in close opposition to her natal Uranus (Accidents).

Natally, Richardson had an out of sign opposition of Saturn in Aquarius to Uranus which is mirrored by the current Saturn-Uranus opposition that is occurring by transit and is layered very closely over her 6th/12th house cusps showing some sort of extra stress having to do with Health. Saturn rules Richardson's 4th House and is conjunct her 12th House cusp. Emotionally she may have feeling a little lost.

(I said I wouldn't mention it but her Solar Arcs show a double whammy of Uranus to Angles: SA Uranus conjunct natal Ascendant and AS MC conjunct natal Uranus. )

This week-end, transiting Mars was passing over the Leo-Virgo cusp which can create a vulnerability to accidents. Mars, in particular, indicates accidents to the head and brain which I think was where Richardson's damage was.

An Accident alone doesn't indicate Death. In Richardson's case I think that the current Venus Retrograde in mid degrees of Aries really exaggerated the problem for her. For one, Venus disposits to Mars. For two, Venus is transiting over her Descendant, a major angle which opposes her Ascendant (ruler of Physical Body). And for three, Venus rules Richardson's Ascendant (Libra) and 8th House Cusp (Taurus). This is a triple whammy aspect which would have happened almost every two years, the amount of time it takes for Venus to pass through all the signs. The difference here is that Venus is moving in Retrograde which is a very long transit.

Her Sun, which represents Vitality, is also in her 8th House along with Mercury. This can mean many things, including accounting for her many charms as an actress. In this case both Sun and Mercury disposit to that nasty Venus Rx which in turn disposit to Mars which is opposing itself by transit. Again, Solar Arc Jupiter is in Richardson's 8th House and in conjunction to her natal Sun. I believe that Lois Rodden said that she would rather go out on a beneficial Jupiter aspect of some kind. I guess this is when the parties are better in Heaven.

I can't help it but I'll add some significant Progressions because they are so significant. Richardson's Progressed Moon was at 8 Virgo conjunct natal Pluto 10 Virgo and also widely conjunct natal Uranus. In her Progressed Chart Uranus and Neptune are both within a degree of conjunction with the MC and ASC respectively. As they don't rule anything in her chart having to do with Death I wouldn't have been able to read them as such but would notice that they indicate a big change of some sort. I have found that both planets can throw off one's sense of balance on many planes of existence at once.

The Liberty Bell v. the Opening Bell

Hey, it's nice that the Liberty Bell has a crack in it. If you can accept that then you can accept anything, you know you may someday be able to let Freedom Ring. However, when there's a crack in the Opening Bell, well then you might as well be staring down the Cable repairman's pearly white butt.

With Sun in Taurus and Venus conjunct Taurus Midheaven, I suppose we can see why the Bulls like to Rage. I wish the Bear would go into hibernation but I guess Alan Greenspan kept him there too long, probably doped up on some Neptunian Ego trip. And, actually, the Taurus rulership is inappropriate for the Stock Market. It's supposed to rule Banks which is the part of the Resource Square (H2,5,8,11) that doesn't directly rule Stock Markets. Pluto in the 7th promises constantly unreliable partnerships and dealings. Maybe the NYSE needs to reincorporate. I suppose it's easy to see how this Plutonian energy works because the Federal Reserve Bank and its current Pluto transit is directly affecting the Stock Market's plunge. They'll probably decide to reincorporate right during the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto square. Wouldn't that be a gas?

This chart has Uranus in Leo in the 1st House opposing Pluto in Aquarius in the 7th House. That's being activated by transiting Neptune-Chiron and the North Node for some time now. However, Neptune's transit is coming exact this week. That's what Monica's brilliantly pointing out. Noel Tyl calls Neptune-Pluto transits and Solar Arcs "Ego Wipe Outs." As this one happens on an angle and in the 7th House and activates an opposition this means that the Wipe Out is involved in relationships and in balancing acts. 7th House is the house of open enemies and no combination works less "out in the open" than Neptune and Pluto together. That combination can only make for sabotage and spies. So, this is the state of the New York Stock Exchange.

This NYSE incorporation chart also has a conjunction of Jupiter to Neptune in Libra which opposes Saturn in Aries very close to the IC/MC line. So the Outer Planets are very prominently linked both with each other and with the angles or major points of this chart. Interesting that the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction is trining Pluto here. So, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction that happens this Summer will be trining it. Ben Bernanke is a Sagittarius Sun-Pisces Moon person, so he's embodying Jupiter-Neptune. I'm sure at this point he would rather not embody anything. At any rate, this energy isn't normally known in Astrological circles for fiscal responsibility, more for having concern for policies and theories and unbridled idealism and broad minded humanitarianism. It's actually very positive and upbeat, but considered very unrealistic.

With the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Air there's a real need for fantastic thinking. And with the Uranus-Pluto opposition in Leo-Aquarius there's a need to crash and burn. The Aries Moon likes all the excitement, of course, and Leo Rising likes all the extra attention this drama brings. But, this is conflicted by a Taurus Sun which is ruled by Banks and Money that one has in one's hands and staying real and being conservative. These energies don't work well together so I suppose this is why they slide out of control. There are no planets in Water Signs. So, there might be an extreme handling of dealing with changing scenarios or with dealing with underhanded behaviors that can't be expressed openly and candidly. Interesting that there's a crash just as the rulers of two of the water signs are in conjunction. Mars in this chart is a singleton and is also the only planet that is placed in a Resources house. That's just plain screwy considering that this is a chart for a Stock Exchange. Anyway, Mars in Virgo is very shrewd. Mars is impulse, though. Interesting that this singleton is acting on behalf of all the Resource Houses which are not only empty of other planets but ruled by Mutable Signs on their cusps. That easily explains why the Stock Market is so impermanent and like quick sand.

Right now the progressed Sun is at 29 Sagittarius. That's stressful enough because it shows an big 30 year shift of energy this time from idealistic Sagittarius to stoic Capricorn. The switch from Scorpio to Sagittarius would have taken on a much lighter vibe. Anyway, What a let down. I thought the progression from Leo to Virgo was bad. It also coincides with Pluto's transit too which has just made that passage itself. And now Neptune is there, and Chiron is there. And boy what a mess.

Anyway, we all know that by now.

What I'm starting to worry about is how these Saturn-Uranus transits tend to lead into financial-political problems that turn into World Wars. I'm sort of on the fence with what Obama's doing.
The great Social progress that is happening with regards to his win for Presidency is great but there is at least in my area a huge backlash of racism. That can only get worse. (and by the way, it's not White people who are doing the harassment). Perhaps Social Spending is a better investment than Business spending in times like these because Socially things are in just as bad a shape as anything else. At any rate, Obama's just hired a guy to control all of the money stuff and the guy forgot to pay his own taxes.

Boy, Bernard Madoff is the guy who has been running the50B $$$ Ponzi ring on Wall Street since Only God Knows When. I saw that this guy was born the same year as my Bitchy Ex-Step-Mother, and I wondered how close in time their Birthdays would have been.

Well, on the Step-M front, same Sun, but a Month's difference. Purty dang close. Really arfin similar only she would never admit her guilt.

Interesting how both this guy and the Blag Governor Guy in Illinois both have Scorpio North Nodes and are getting caught right now. I've heard that Scorpio North Node is the most traumatic and it certainly seems to be panning out in that regard at this point in time. Is Pluto in Capricorn somehow affecting them with a little Payback time thing? Or are they such workaholics that the only way for them to take a vacation is to do jail time?

I don't know because no birth time, but Bernard Madoff could possibly be a new Moon "Baby" in Taurus. That would be interesting from an Astrological Point of View because Taurus is associated with Money and Banking. (If he has an Aries Moon then he would also have that in common with the Chicago Governor.) Scorpio is associated with Investments and Other People's Money. So the Sun, possibly Moon and North Node would all be putting Madoff in this category and would explain his natural attraction to this area of life.

And that's not a bad thing, necessarily.

Madoff's ability to shmooze is shown in a number of aspects. It's shown in his conjunction of Venus in Taurus to Mars in Gemini. That's especially good for anything involving Money and Values and Markets. His Venus is conjunct his South Node and squares his Jupiter at 29 Aquarius. This ties this "charm" aspect to his Fate. And charm often leads to the ability to get away with stuff, depending on a person's upbringing, the rest of his chart, etc.

Another good Shmooze aspect is the trine between Uranus 14 Taurus and Neptune 19 Virgo. Madoff's Taurus Sun is conjunct his Uranus. I'd expect that to be a super friendly combination, for sure. Taurus is easy going, so is Uranus. They're both Friendly. This seems to be the "BIGGEE" aspect that has tripped Madoff up through progressions and transits. Madoff's Solar Arc Neptune is conjunct to the degree of his Natal North Node. Neptune rules Pisces and Twelfth House which rules Self-Undoing. Nobody would have caught him, they were all "glitzed" by him and his magical money making abilities. Uranus and Neptune work express themselves according to what large amounts of people do. The people in charge apparently were making too much money off of him to really care about how he was doing what he was doing.

As I said, Madoff's North Node was in Scorpio which is a very difficult North Node to deal with as it is. As I said, Solar Arc Neptune is conjunct it. In addition, Transiting Neptune is approaching a square to it.

Checked Progressed Neptune. Don't know if this matters but natal Neptune progressed out of (natal) Rx position in 1960s sometime just after he opened his business. Perhaps it had something to do with how he started to get off track in his business dealings.

Finally, and probably most significant, then there's the big Saturn-Uranus opposition that's currently transiting the Sky. Transiting Saturn is hitting Madoff's natal Neptune 19 Virgo. Uranus is opposing.

Natal North Node is also heavily aspected. It is opposing Venus (and Mars); squaring Jupiter; trining Pluto; inc. Chiron 28 Gemini; inconjunct Mercury Rx 27 Aries.

On the news last night Christopher Cox admitted that mistakes were made in tracking Madoff since 1999. An interesting astrological association might be made as there was the big once every 20 year conjunction of Juipter to Saturn in Taurus in the first part of 2000. This would have been conjunct very close to Madoff's Sun. This made his ego bloat more out of control, gave extra power especially in financial services. And all his activities would have been veiled by all the Neptunian aspects. Neptune finally caused the self-undoing, he lifted his own veil.

Hamlet as Venusian or Saturnian?

I've recently acquired a couple of different audiobook classes about Shakespeare's Tragedies at some book sales. I've read the play Hamlet a few times and honestly never understood what all the broohaha was about. It just seemed to be a long play about nutty people. And, of course, that's my own nuttiness kicking in along with my ADD. But I like the idea of the Tragedy based on Revenge in Families theme.

First I listened to Harold Bloom's lectures on Hamlet which I purchased from Barnes & Noble. So exciting, for a while at least. Bloom goes on and on saying that Hamlet's intelligence is superior to everyone on earth and never really explains why. Probably I was just spacing out during the parts where he explained, maybe it's my own lack of said Quality that just doesn't get it. But then, Bloom goes into all the psychobabble about Hamlet's life and says that Hamlet's only emotional support was from his Tutor Yorik who died when Hamlet was 7 years old. This creates the emphasis on unresolvable grief that is in the play and shows the loneliness of Hamlet's childhood. Blooms explains that there is much confusion among scholars about Hamlet's age during the play. Bloom says that Hamlet is 30 years old when the play takes place.This is stated in the Graveyard Scene in Act. 5. Things are sounding pretty Saturnian at this point as this is the time of the Saturn Return. I'm seeing Saturnian themes all over the place in the story, of course: Death of Father, Remarriage of Mother, Calculated Revenge, Thwarted Desire, Longest Play, Play named after Shakespeare's Son.

In the story, Hamlet is approached by his Father's Ghost and tells Hamlet that he was murdered by Hamlet's Uncle who has recently rushed to marry his Mother. He's also taken over as King of Denmark. "There's something rotten in Denmark." Hamlet is completely confused by the apparition of his Father and needs proof that his Uncle is his Father's murderer. He stages a play reenacting his Father's Murder to see how his Uncle will react. When his Uncle leaves the room Hamlet has his proof. Even still, his actions are not direct. This causes one goof after another and in the end everyone in the play is dead. That's how tragedy goes. And some families.

So that was fun. I figured I would blog the Saturn thing. Hamlet's character showed what happens when the Saturn Return can't be handled. I also tend to associate the sign of Capricorn with extreme intelligence, although I still don't get why Hamlet is so bright. The structures in a person's life can fall apart and force a person to face his own immaturity. That's a Saturn transit. But, Saturnians don't doddle when it comes to making decisions. They take it for granted that they know who killed whom and they place the judgment immediately without making up tests and putting on plays. Saturn will present tough decisions which must be executed with a level of coldness and matter of factness.

The 2d set of Brilliant College Lectures that I found at a Library Sale (from the Teaching Company) explains that Hamlet's personality is the ultimate Protestant Character. This makes a whole lot of sense to me. I spent an entire year once writing a never ending essay that pondered why it is that Protestants don't feel guilt. It seems that Hamlet was doing the same thing. Or at least his Mom and Uncle should have been feeling the guilt. The Teaching Company Lectures are awesome, highly recommended. I can't remember the Teacher's name, the set fell under the seat of my car and parts tend to get drowned out by road noise so I've taken a little break. Besides, I have to read Othello before moving on. I don't believe Hamlet's age is discussed in these lectures as much.

So I've been Googling around and found this great article:

which says that Hamlet would have been much younger between Age 16-20. The article also says that there will always going to be confusion about this. Hamlet is always referred to as a student in the play and 30 year olds weren't considered of Student Age during Shakespeare's time.

If Hamlet were 16 in the play, his actions would make total sense astrologically. This is a Venus Return year of sorts. It's one of the 8 year-cycles where Venus and the Sun return to their natal spots, or very close to. I tend to think that the Ages of 8 years and 16 years really do mark significant times in children's lives in things Venusian. Social skills, cooties separate the girls from the boys at 8 and bring them back together again at around age 16. Friends are very important at these ages. I have no idea if real astrologers agree with me about these Venus Cycles. (Bruce Scofield has written a really great book about planetary cycles and children's development which I've read half of which is called The Circuitry of the Self.)

At any rate, Hamlet's story makes much better sense when seen from a Sun-Venus point of view. Hamlet must have been born with a conjunction of those two planets. The Returns of these planets together with each other seems to be extra potent as expressed in their lives. At least I've found that to be true in a couple of examples.

For one, indecision is a major Venus theme through the Libra need to maintain balance, to seek justice, to weigh both sides of a situation. Putting on of the play in order to test the Uncle's guilt is a very sophisticated Venusian action. "To Be or Not To Be" is certainly a Venusian statement (or could also be Neptunian as discussed below). Hamlet as a Youth and Student suggests an Inner Planet Character trying to deal on an Outer Planet Scale and not quite succeeding. This seems to me to be the essence of this whole play. The Taurus rulership of Venus which rules Setting of Values is also very prominent and can actually be seen as the root of Hamlet's indecision. The putting on of the play, a leisurely activity, is Venusian. Ophelia, Hamlet's Fiance (Venus=Women in one's life), commits Suicide is very Sun-Venus. Just can't cope.

Saturn is certainly a very strong presence here as one would expect in a story about dealing with one's parents. But this play is about Hamlet the Child of the parents. It shows how difficult it is to deal with and bring justice to the behaviors of family members who have done the wrong thing. How can a Sun-Venus person possibly understand the calculating ruthlessness of a Saturnian person? It can't. Or at least in Astrology it is given from Age 16 (time of the Sun-Venus return energy) to Age 28-29 (time of the Saturn Return) to figure out how.

Harold Bloom says that this play above all others is Shakespeare's most autobiographical. According to the Astrotheme chart for Shakespeare he was very Venusian both Taurus Sun and Libra Moon dispose to Venus. Shakespeare's North Node, however, was in Capricorn which shows the reaching for the Saturnian influence.

The Astrotheme chart also shows a Cancer rising which I'm guessing is the result of someone's rectification talents which I question. It does create another strong Saturnian influence in the chart as Saturn here is placed in the 1st House and is conjunct Jupiter showing Shakespeare's great awareness of how society as a whole works. As Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions happen every 20 years there could be yet another argument that Hamlet's age was 20 years old. The Neptune semi-square happens around Age 21 or so which could also be an influence as shown in the vision of the Ghost, the theatrics, seeking the Uncles' guilt or innocence through a manipulation game rather than through direct communication. I happen to think that Artists and Writers will express themselves in this way through their creations and characters.

Well, just some ponderings.

The Keeling Curve

The Keeling Curve is the result of 40 years of painstaking measurements of the rising Carbon levels in the atmosphere. It was made famous by Al Gore. But who was the person who tracked the measurements during all those years?

I suppose it's interesting that Keeling was an Oceanographer but became noted for his studies of Gases in the Atmosphere. He had no planets in Air in his chart, but his North Node was in Gemini which is an Air Sign. North Node shows your Destiny and lack of an element shows that you may be drawn to that element in some way in your life. Here's a description of Keeling's work from the book An Ocean of Air by Gabrielle Walker. As you can see by the title of the book, Walker seems to have read the problems that Keeling's chart propose in this respect. She also fobs off a pretty good description of a Taurus:

Keeling was inspired, technically brilliant, and also -- fortunately -- bull-headed. Fortunately, because he discovered that there was no funding available for long-term studies like the one he had in mind. There was nothing wrong with making a few measurements once in a while, he was told repeatedly by the U.S. science-funding agencies. But keeping highly expensive and very technical instruments ticking over constantly in Hawaii for years? There was simply no need.

Keeling, however, refused to hear the word "no." He wrangled and scraped and insisted, and he somehow managed to keep his instruments in place and switched on. It wasn't long before he was proved to be right. Even between one year and the next, he could see the difference in carbon dioxide levels. And it was exactly what you'd expect if the oceans were not, after all, soaking up those human outpourings.
Keeling made those measurements for more than forty years. When plotted out on a graph, his "Keeling curve" has become one of the most famous icons of the global warming debate. For as the years have passed, the carbon dioxide levels it shows look nothing like a flat line, or even a gentle rise. Instead, they rear up exponentially, like a malevolent tidal wave ready to crash.

What a great book. I might actually have to read this one.

Keeling's Sun was in Taurus (he passed away recently so I speak of him in past tense) but his Moon may have been either in Aries or Taurus. In addition to that he had four planets in Aries (Uranus, Venus, Mercury, and Jupiter) so he was bound "to do his own thing". Those particular planets ganging up together want to do genuinely good things for the World. Venus-Merucry-Jupiter are trining Saturn in Sagittarius and squaring Pluto in Cancer.

Keeling's Pisces Mars was a great placement for an oceanographer and it was also squaring his Nodal Axis. His destiny in the fight to fix Man-made problems. North Node in Gemini seems to be a great placement for Scientists who want to fix problems at any rate. Born with this 1928 placement are Jack Kevorkian (euthanasia guy) and Bill Mollison (creator of Permaculture). They've all worked against technology. Kind of an interesting situation that these Gemini North Node people have been living on the heels of the Gemini Pluto people who sort of created a lot of the technological messes (something which Bob Marks describes in a thread on his forum, check it out).

Keeling began to take measurements of CO2 over in Hawaii in 1958 and stopped in 2005.

In 1958, by coincidence, he was going through his Saturn Return in Sagittarius. Good time to take on a new project (Saturn) which will be the center of huge amounts of debate (Sagittarius) over the next 40 years. T. Pluto was also just past conjunction with Keeling's natal Neptune at 27 Leo. A person is extra sensitive to poisonings of any type during this transit. Neptune was at early degrees of Scorpio opposing Keeling's natal Sun-Chiron-possibly Moon conjunction which is like a triple or quadruple whammy effect for understanding toxicity, especially through empathy. T.Uranus would have hit Neptune in a couple of years after that, probably around the time that Keeling was realizing that he was on to something. According to Wikipedia his research was used in a Government warning about Global Warming back in 1963 but the fundings were stopped.

Also in 1958 the Nodal Axis was entering Libra which means that the South Node would be passing over Keeling's Aries planets. Neptune was in Scorpio but still conjunct the t.North Node which was moving into late Libra (Nodal Axis moves backwards) for a great deal of the year.

Keeling's measurements stopped in 2005. I suppose this coincides with his death of a heart attack on June 20, 2005. The Astrology is pretty incredible for this. T. Jupiter was once again in Libra and conjunct the South Node which relates back to the start of his 40 year project.

Not only was t. Pluto conjunct natal Saturn but t. Saturn had just been in conjunction with natal Pluto. That represents loss. (They're not in aspect with each other but they are both in major aspect to the following: Transiting Uranus was conjunct natal Mars (and squaring natal Nodal Axis) and transiting Mars was conjunct natal Uranus. Both aspects within a degree of conjunction. This shows a sudden, abrupt change of plans. Natal Mars is also trining natal Pluto at 16 Cancer (death) which was being hit by both Progressed Sun and Venus (15 Cancer for Sun, Venus ??). This squared his natal Aries planets and the transiting Nodal Axis. Transiting Venus and Mercury were also involved. Pluto does bring Fame and Keeling's Fame after his death has skyrocketed. And Venus, what was I saying about Venus throwing some curves?

An interesting little note about the Mercury Retrograde Progression. Keeling's Mercury went Rx sometime around1984-85 at 13 Cancer. This would have been conjunct his natal Pluto and squaring natal Mercury, etc. in Aries. He may have felt impotent to communicate his message. P.Mercury will come out of Retrograde in 2009-2010. The World will finally come around to paying attention to his word, especially with regards to transportation which is a Mercury ruled product.

Last year the Government plagued us with the TB Man. Remember that weird and unbelievable story about the guy who was diagnosed with untreatable TB and then decided to go ahead with his international flight in order to expose everyone he came in contact with? Then it turns out his Father in Law to be was a TB Specialist with the CDC. That was weird. Now we have the weird stories of the Anthrax guys. The first guy who was under suspicion was finally found innocent in March (after 7 years) and immediately after that the Feds turned to another guy (after 7 years). This guy was Bruce E. Ivins. This is so strange. We're being Terrorized by people in our own government who know how to not get caught. The first guy, Steven Hatfill, was a Scorpio. The second guy, Bruce E. Ivins, was a Taurus. Their Suns oppose each other to the degree. That doesn't really mean anything except to the Sabian Symbol people. Scorpio is just the strangest Sign. I don't get it.

Seems like a real blame thing going on with his life path. Either way, I can't stand seeing innocent people getting blamed.

Can't remember the words, these songs weren't allowed in my house growing up. I assume everyone knows this, but if not: Hitler, the most famous psychopath on earth was a Taurus Sun with Capricorn Moon. So are 1 out of every 144 people (approximately) in the whole entire world. Those people have to live under this astrological shadow. We have to remember that they barbeque on the week-end, they don't cut in line at Wal-Mart, they tell their kids to shut the arf up in public. Capricorn Moon people are ambitious but also thin skinned when it comes to public humiliation. You can really wreck one pretty easily by following him around in your white van with the radar scanner on top. They're very perceptive and will notice you and they have a deep painful understanding that they're not as loveable as everyone else. Capricorn Moons just never quite get the theme song from Cops out of their heads...

But then you look at this Dude's chart and your eyes see ring tones. This guy's got the chart of a school shooter. Sun square Mars at 30 Cancer and Pluto at 10 Leo. Then you calm yourself down. Breathe deeply. How many people were born within a week of this guy and have this same aspect and become Government Researchers who work in Defense to protect our Country against BioWeaponry? This guy's IQ was obviously through the roof and he had found a perfect constructive way to focus those aspects in his daily life. Gun imagery would come to him automatically, probably a trait that was beat into him from his Capricorn Moonian Mother, we don't know.

Then you see that this guy is born with a Uranus-NN conjunction in Gemini that trines Neptune. He works with innovations and poisons so he really is looped into the greater good? Is that what it means? He focused the energy perfectly for his chart.

Uranus here is a little too potent for my tastes because it is a singleton in Mutable and Air. Scientists need a lot of air in their charts due to the mental nature of their job. When under stress this guy's one outer planet link to Air could get really weird on him causing all kinds of Uranian shocks and unexpected twists and turns. Kind of crazy that the Saturn-Pluto opposition of 2001-2 stationed on his Uranus-Nodal Axis. Kind of like throwing a bomb on one's life path. Gemini would certainly like to send a bomb through the U.S. Mail system. And there's that funky trine in Ivins birthchart from Neptune in Libra which likes to deal with poisons. It can also describes what we actually know about his job. He was an expert in a field at the time that needed his knowledge.

Ivins' Mercury was in Aries so he wasn't one to mince words. Mercury opposes Neptune so, maybe he wasn't clear in all of his communications. Maybe he wasn't always real honest. But he was probably very nice. He would obviously be good at covering his tracks. Funny how his words to a therapist were what drove him to kill himself. Victimized by an Empath. Holy cow.

God, I wonder if she'll be on Larry King tonight promoting herself. What do you want to bet she's big and blond and has phony fingernails? Her handwriting looks quite diagnosable to me, but in a Saggy kind of way.

The progressions in Ivins' chart show his psychological decline. His Progressed Sun recently changed signs into Cancer (at 2 degrees). This is the Astrological Wheel's initiation into the wonderful world of feelings, probably best to go through early in life.

Transiting Pluto is opposing the prog. Sun showing an opposition from Powerful figures. The Feds were on his ass. He got caught.

Ivins' progressed Venus is also very stressed. She has been passing over his natal Mars and was within one degree conjunction of hitting his natal Pluto. As I already said this is squaring his natal Sun. I think I've also said that I keep finding Sun-Venus progression combinations that come up a lot in Suicides. I don't know why. Either way, a lot of planets in his chart disposit back to Venus and Venus on Pluto is extreme. And it would have tripped off his natal square between Sun and Mars-Pluto.

Jupiter may have been transiting over his Moon, amplifying the dire nature of his situation. Jupiter is supposed to be lucky. But in Ivins' chart it is squaring his natal Jupiter-Chiron conjunction in Libra. His reactions to everything would have been very intense. I tend to think that the Moon-Chiron square shows that he may have been blamed for something he didn't do just because he has the chart and weird qualities of a school shooter. Certainly, it made him a victim of his own therapist. It does sort of give a scapegoat flavor to what's going on here, but maybe he was only scapegoated by his therapist who was jealous and confused by his bigger brain. Now that he's dead at least she can reinstate her Psychology Today subscription. But, really, who the Hell is going to rent this woman out to talk about how they don't get along with anybody? When you've got to kill yourself in order to not feel humiliated that you lost in your therapy session, then you know there's time for reform in that profession. Maybe she'll be able to sue somebody as well and retire on a beach in Tahiti with the wrongly accused Scorpio guy.

What I want to know is why does it take 7 years to locate these guys? 7 years. Uranus changes signs. Saturn squares itself. Progressed Moon squares itself.

Hmm, if I knew how to do Horary I would ask if Ivins was the guy.

That would be just so amazing if he really poisoned Law makers and Media people and postal workers by sending poison through the mail. That's so Gemini-Uranus trine Neptune.

If this guy were going to kill himself, wouldn't he have used Anthrax? Well, maybe it's too painful. Maybe the vaccine he created really worked and he knew they'd revive him.
