No word yet on who exactly won the biggest Lottery of all time. According to what I just read which I don't have link for there were 3 winning tickets.

I talked about how Jupiter and Venus were on the Descendant and was hoping that this would somehow describe the winners. Aside from wondering if they're not all Diabetics (Noel Tyl relates Venus-Jupiter combos with Diabetes)

Looked up astrolocality chart for the drawing and found that the Jupiter DS line runs down from Milwaukee/Chicago to just east of Houston. St. Louis is right on it! Baltimore MD is under the influence of the Mars MC and Cihron IC lines. I don't think that Kansas was under any particular lines.

The winning numbers were

That means that you would have had to have picked the number 23 twice. I know that when I was picking numbers I didn't even think of repeating any.

Anyway, it's interesting that 23 is an age related to the 2d Jupiter Return which happens between ages 23 and 24. That's as far as I will go to try to relate the numbers to the astrology chart because one can get really nuts about that.

I guess the big earth Grand Trine between Mars-Jupiter and Pluto had to pool into something extraordinary. The Earth element is related to material stuff and whomever wins this Lottery is going to spend the rest of their lives seeing how the world works for people who have a lot of stuff. The Grand Trine is in the process of phasing out and now there is a Grand Square in the process of forming. I was just thinking the other day about how Uranus is probably tied to the idea of how you have to be careful what you wish for you may get it.

Jupiter rules Luck and Venus rules Money through her rulership of Taurus. Both these planets are in conjunction with the Descendant at 11:00 pm tonight Atlanta time. I still don't know where the Lottery will be held. I think its in Georgia and the tickets can be purchased all over the U.S.

So if this describes the Winner we can look for a Taurus or a Sagittarius type? Maybe a group of women or college professors or lawyers or bankers. Hahaha, wouldn't that be funny? Actually, there are a lot of psychic types who have Taurus-Sagittarius combos, so maybe some poor tarot card reader out there will divine the lucky Lotto. Perhaps some immigrants or people from foreign lands will win.

Maybe the cycles associated with Venus and Jupiter will indicate the winners? Jupiter follows a roughly 11 or 12 year cycle. Venus is associated with an 8 year cycle with the Sun which would affect a person with a Sun-Venus conjunction. So, maybe the winners will be roughly Ages 11.5, 23, 35, 47, 58, etc. Or 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, etc. Maybe these numbers will be the winning numbers, who knows?

Since the North Node is in Jupiter's sign and is in the first house of the chart this perhaps means that the winner or winners will have the Gemini/Sagittarius pole on one of their angles. I suppose the Sagittarius North Node might bring more luck than usual, especially for people who exhibit the Sadge charm. So crack a joke, pray to God while crossing your fingers behind your back as the balls begin to bounce.

The Sun in Aries is in a wide separating conjunction with Uranus and these are placed in the 5th House at 11:00 pm tonight. Hopes and Wishes and surprises in the house of gambling and risk. Yeah, that sounds like a Lottery event.

The Moon will be at 15 Cancer in the 8th House of other people's money and in a t-square. Moon is in her own sign as is Venus. This bodes well, once again, for the luck of the women, especially married women. Hopefully a group of transexuals will win. They're not married, so they would have to be either bankers or religious nuts or college students or professors. Wouldn't that be fun?

The Moon is opposing Pluto over the house axis of the Astrology wheel that directly rules Money, that is House 2 and House 8. They are squaring the Sun-Uranus combination in the 5th House of Risk and Gambling and Fun. Boy, I don't know how there can't be a winner with this chart but we'll see.

I think the dead relatives (Pluto, House 8, Moon) will be manipulating the outcome. It looks like someone might be manipulating the outcome with Neptune-Chiron conjunct the IC of the chart from H4 opposing Mars Retrograde in Virgo from H10 of the chart. The person with the most dead relatives, preferably Aunts and Grandmothers and Mothers will win this Lottery.

The tension created by the empty leg of the t-square finds its solution in the 11th House. Uranus rules the 11th House so Hopes and Wishes and Shocks and Surprises are at the center of all this. The house is ruled by the sign of Virgo and is empty. It's ruler, Mercury, is Retrograde in Pisces at 25 degrees and down in the 4th House. Maybe the ticket holder will have lost his ticket. Wouldn't that be a drag? Be careful to hide yours from thieves.

Saturn is sort of looking crappy here. He's in Libra which is a good placement for his sign, but he is at the last degrees of Scorpio Retrograde and he's so sick and tired of Libra energy always having to see others living the life that they want he could just diah. Oh yeah, and he's on the cusp of the 12th House. That could indicate theives and secret enemies who are lurking in the corners.

Guy Fawkes and His BFF Tim Geithner (that's a joke)

This won't be a long post. (Oops)

I'm trying to write a post about how nobody ever gives Tim Geithner any credit. I don't hold much against him because the astrology right now pretty much says we're in a long term phase of financial depression that repeats the similar problems of the Long Depression that occurred at the end of the 19th century. That one lasted 20 years. I don't expect things to get better real fast this time, but I'm such a pessimist my opinions can be said to err on the down side. In other words, what do I know?

It's amazing to me that Geithner has managed to keep the stock market up at the high levels as it is. It hasn't really gone beyond a certain point, but it keeps heaving up and down, kind of like it's on a ventilator in a chemically induced coma. Just enough to let the 401ks juggle things around a bit.

Clearly Geithner's staging this stuff (strong Leo influence in his chart). It's a magic trick and an illusion.

But, right now, because no one ever gives Tim Geithner enough credit, everyone is giving Guy Fawkes a bunch of credit. Plus, the recession/depression has gone on too long. And some eco-marketing firm up in Canada had the brains to inject our instincts for mobbing into generally more constructive avenues. And there's some illusion in this as well. Magic Federal Reserve Chairman Boyfriend Ben Bernanke said he doesn't really blame them, the Occupy Wall St people. Some of them are sort of dumb and are burning small businesses down.

Bernanke loves a committee. Somehow I get the feeling that Tim Geithner doesn't. That's why Ben Bernanke is so loveable and why I keep forgetting to look at Geithner's chart maybe? Uranus loves a committee. Oh well, I won't go there.

Then a gang stalker walked by me today (they stare extra long with a taunting we've got you bitch, you should see what I've just done to your car and your credit score and everyone you know). This guy had a Guy Fawkes beard, like he had dressed up like all the rest of the Guy Fawkes fans on November 5, and he was clearly pissed off with me for being white. Then it hit me. Sort of. It's the Catholics. The Catholics are protesting.

Geithner has a conjunction of Sun-Mercury-Uranus to the NN in Leo which explains the big forehead and mass of hair. He might also be grouchy because his thinking is erratic and he expresses himself verbally in ways that sometimes shock people. This stellium is unaspected except for an inconjunct to a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction (both retrograde) in Capricorn. That's lots of potent energy that doesn't flow easily. It helps that both signatures show high intelligence of some sort so Geithner is not going to be as at odds blending these energies as some of us might be.

Inconjuncts are minor aspects and their connection is very odd. The keyword for inconjuncts is "Adjustment." The signs that are connected don't share similarities which means they are difficult to express together. Both signs, Leo and Capricorn do rule talent for leadership. Geithner seems to be trying to fix the problem, but the problem may be outdated (Jupiter-Saturn in Capricorn Rx). At any rate, that Jupiter-Saturn thing shows that Geithner was born during a year which socially represents the top of the heap. There's a sense that we are falling backwards or down instead of upwards towards a common goal. Well, the Guy Fawkes people want to revel against the system too.

Sun-Mercury-Uranus-NN in Leo shows a lot of intuitive brains. It wouldn't be enough to hack Geithner's computers, you'd have to also hack his brain. And you'd have to be really really fast. The Leo and Capricorn shows that perhaps he doesn't like to work with others. It's partly that lack of flow thing I mentioned earlier. It's partly that he's got a Hero complex. It's partly other stuff which I'll continue to babble about.

People like people who flow. They make you feel like you're not stuck anywhere. Guy Fawkes had flow. At least his astro chart did. He had one and possibly two Grand Trines in his chart. AT execution time he jumped off the stage before he was hung in order to avoid the final humiliation.

I remember reading that Geithner didn't hire staff for a long time after taking his job as whatever his title is. This would be a very Leo/Capricorn kind of way of doing things. Leo has a Hero complex and Heroes tend to stand out by themselves.

I was just thinking the other day about how a Democracy is exactly the wrong type of political philosophy for getting countries out of the deep do-do that we're currently in. Everything takes too long by committee. Tyrants can get things done and that's not always a bad thing, except that sometimes they turn mean. Ben Bernanke likes committees. We all like Ben Bernanke. Ben is very smart, he's super cute, I tend to think that I'm watching a guy playing baseball rather than a world economy tanking, but Bernanke's forehead isn't as big as Geithner's. Interesting that both men are Fire Suns with Water Moons.

That's a lot of steam.

Back to Guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes was a rebel. That's how history talks about him right now at any rate. According to an astrology blog that was posted which I can't remember the name of, _--------- (it was British and it was really good), we don't know Guy Fawkes' birthday. He was christened on Apr. 16, 1570. People say he was born on Apr. 13, 1570 but nobody knows for sure.

My computer program says that Fawkes was a Taurus, not an Aries, because he was born during Old School calendar, same as Leonardo da Vinci. Taurus would explain why his name comes up in discussions about finances.

Taurus rules finances and art. Fawkes is known for his pointy chin goatee which seems like a Taurus thing since Taurus rules the lower jaw and neck area. Most people think he's an Aries Sun which he could be. Obviously I don't know, but isn't it interesting how people never assume that a person is a Taurus, have you ever noticed that?. I don't know what Old School and New School calendars mean. Someone once told me but I forgot. Something which has to do with what the Pope wanted. Funny how this post is supposed to be about people who are dealing with finances of our times and keeps turning intostuff about religions (which I've mostly edited out by now).

(I like the Buddhists. Remember the Buddhists? My Father said that Buddhism is the best religion but Buddhism doesn't work in the markets and that's why people don't embrace it. Well, except for Steve Jobs.)

Like I said, Fawkes would have had a lot of flow because he had at least one Grand trine. He could probably get away with more in life than most people can. Or at least he thought he could get away with more and then he got caught. He was born during an outer planet Grand Trine in Air. Jupiter 15 Aquarius trine Saturn 18 Libra Rx trine Neptune 20 Gemini. This Grand Trine is activated right now because this chart (Fawkes') is going through a Saturn Return.

The Apr. 13 date also gives another Grand Trine, this time in Earth, which would be activated by transiting Pluto right now. Sun 3 Taurus would be trine NN 6 Virgo trine Uranus 4 Capricorn Rx. Uranus rules rebellions, Sun rules Risk, so there you go. The guy was unpredictable and inspirational. And I think that Grand Trines are great for spies so he probably was good at working people.

Fawkes' Virgo NN might show why the Pluto in Virgo generation has a strong fascination with this guy. I'm sort of embarrassed to say that the V for Vendetta phenomenon began with a comic strip which is the best art form of my generation and a source of great embarrassment to me. Virgo seems to be strongly connected with the markets and material world and so is better with the graphics arts than with the "high arts". If it is great art nobody will want it until 100 years after you are dead and what smart Virgo is going to go along with that kind of pain? Oh well, power to the people who do crafty crap. And people who live in the middle class.

Kind of interesting that the Middle Class has pretty much disappeared from the Pluto in Virgo generation. That's a discussion which could go on and on so I'll avoid it. The anonymous hackers have found that they have a talent which they can get away with no matter how much pain it causes others so they are finding a great outlet in Fawkes and not Geithner the Leo who represents the old school idea to them. Geithner's chart shows a strong Romantic side so I think his generation sort of bugs him.

Right now Fawkes is going through a Mars Return in Leo. With Mars in Leo, Fawkes had a noble side as well as a foolish side, as do all Mars in Leos. He wanted to be heroic. He wanted to do the right thing. The New York Occupy people haven't killed anybody but there have been some problems in other places like Oakland and Oklahoma. Does it have something to do with place names that begin with the letter O, long form? Oakland always riots and the truth is this is because the people who live there are mean.

I wonder if this is mostly a 25-year old Boy thing overall. Especially White Boys. The government is trying to get them to perk up because they aren't eligible for Affirmative Action and they commit suicide a lot when they get older. Uranus is at 1 Aries which shows that the spark has to come before the plan. That's interesting. That's a lesson that Saturn has to learn.

Fawkes also had a square of Neptune 20 Gemini to Pluto at 23 Pisces. So he was born during a time when mysticism would have wreaked havoc amongst the peoples? There is probably more than the usual amount of stuff that people feel that they can't explain when Neptune and Pluto are in bad aspect with each other. They would have really struggled with things like Religions which are trying to explain it all away with some story about Virgins and a guy who will forgive for torturing him to death. Today with this long winding Neptune-Pluto sextile that keeps phasing in and out we are finding out about more mysteries through Science. Healers are still self professed and sometimes that gets a little stupid.

Back in Guy Fawkes' day, people probably did have mystical powers and it wasn't because they were trying so hard; or at least they figured they needed to develop mystical powers in order to deal with what life was throwing at them. People can never really fully know the powers of either Neptune or Pluto because we will never experience a full return of those planets to our natal charts. It sure is interesting that during the Age of Aquarius many of us can expect to live through our first Uranus Return, Age 83-84.

Right now, Fawkes' chart is also going through a Chiron Return conjunct Neptune. Chiron is at 27 Aquarius. That's an extra mystical Chiron Return which involves crowds of people and mobs. I'm just finishing that one up and I have the same Chiron placement within a degree. I got to be gang stalked by the scum of the earth who is now running around in Guy Fawkes' masks.

Weirdness, Geithner is also entering his Chiron Return. They have chiron in different signs. Fawkes in Aquarius. Geithner in Pisces. And, of course, it's just plain weird that I'm comparing their two charts in one blog.

Chiron in Aquarius: Healing and Failure of "The People." That's a universal problem for all of humanity to deal with. The Catholics have consistently failed to deal with this but they keep on waving their incense burners. Problem with the Catholics is that, as I said before, everywhere they go an Inquisition follows. I'm not fond of Religions because they separate people for no reason, but when you fail at money you tend to turn towards God so what else can a person do? The Catholics are probably actually rebelling only because Oprah went off the air. They need to be told that everything can be healed.

So, this brings me back to Tim Geithner who nobody gives credit to. Saturn and Jupiter Rx. His Father never gave him credit? He's strongly Leo so he's got more than the usual amount of confidence?

Problem with Leo is that the Stars never stay the same and the Sun constantly progresses and Leo Sun have it bad in that respect. You're all shiny and unselfconscious and then your Sun takes on the flavor of Virgo which sits there feeling embarrassed for everyone else. Then it moves into Libra and doesn't know what end is up. Do you want to drive or shall I? Do you want to open the window, or shall I? Libra can see all sides. That's only because Leo opens the heart and Virgo brings a sense of servitude. By the time they become shrinks later on in life Libras can pretty much articulate everything that bothers another person.

Geithner's Moon would be the real kicker in his chart and I can't really place it because I don't have his birth time. At noon it's in middle degrees Scorpio. At that point it's in conjunction with Neptune in Scorpio. Scorpio rules shared finances and very often that equals: Crises. People don't really like to share finances, if you want to be honest about it and that's one of Scorpios' little challenges.

Scorpio, like Leo, is a fixed sign so combined as they are here shows that Geithner has staying power. Unlike Leo Scorpio likes to rule from behind the scenes.

If Moon is in conjunction with Neptune, this combined with Mercury c. Uranus in Geithner's chart shows two strong psychic connections of very different styles. Mercury-Uranus is very quick and intuitive, but Moon conjunct Neptune in Scorpio shows a highly psychic person whose feeling levels defy speed, but who is probably not good at explaining what's going on in his mind. That's why Geithner's head looks like the popcorn is just about ready.

People don't like what they don't understand and if Geithner has both of these aspects together people might feel that they can't trust him. Oh well, end of rant.

I was just wondering whatever happened to California Cuisine. Turns out that it was all gobbled up by the Campaign Treasurer of the Democratic Party, an embezzler named Kinde Durkee.

I'm sorry, "Kinde" "Durkee" but that dopey name sounds like some sort of mistake that could only pop out of Cape Cod.

And, I know, I know, Innocent until Proven Guilty so I'm way ahead of myself here.

But, no, this woman is most likely a native Californian. There are rumors saying that Kinde Durkee needed to pay for her Mother's old folks home. But apparently Mom is parked full time at Disneyland because Kinde Durkee has stolen almost $5 Million from Dianne Feinstein's campaign funds alone. That would fund a whole new monorail.

It looks like Durkee took from women politicians but perhaps she defrauded some boys as well.

Man, California journalism is such a mess. In addition to the typos and mispellings nobody wants to give out Kinde Durkee's birth info. I thought I would up-end the status quo and look it up in my new secret astro b-day spot but then that unearthed two different Kinde Durkees with two different dates. Both Californians, but one So-Cali and the other No-Cal. This woman can cook.

Brooksley Born

Back in 1996 President Clinton did a very great thing. The President appointed a lawyer named Brooksley Born to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Problem is, he didn't listen to what Ms. Born was warning against which was all the financial bubbles which we have since popped. Born has strong earth content in her chart so she's a good one to give a reality check. I suppose one would want to be in the mood for a reality check, though, in order to take advantage of the situation.

There are a whole bunch of reasons why nobody took Born's warnings seriously. For one she's a native Californian and I figure that always knocks one's believability down a notch on the East Coast. Her name is also kind of fun, so maybe they thought she was a Disney cartoon. Also, and oops about this but Brooksley Born is a woman.

Seriously on an Astrological scale: Born has no oppositions in her chart. This is often thought to indicate that an individual doesn't have the inner sense of how to engage others in confrontation.

Brooksley Born is a Virgo and they're also not necessarily confrontational. They just say things straight from the hip and let the chips fall where they may. The Sun-Mars conjunction in Virgo in Born's chart shows a person with great analytical abilities but perhaps which comes across as impulsive or pre-what, what's the word I'm looking for, nobody's ready to hear it. Born has Mercury in Leo, which can come across as too much bravado especially in a woman and Mercury here is squaring Uranus which explains more mental acuity and intuition. The Sun-Mars conjunction, except for the out of sign connection with Mercury is unaspected to other planets. This gives the sense that the energy has trouble hooking up other energies in the chart and comes across as out of sync. Perhaps she came off as being too alarming at the time.

Born also has a tight one degree conjunction of Saturn 15 Taurus Rx to Jupiter 16 Taurus. Jupiter and Saturn conjunctions represent one of the most studied planetary cycles especially in connection with politics. They are in conjunction with each other every 20 years. Taurus is the sign of money and banking and Jupiter-Saturn aspects can show where social awareness occurs within each generation.

It just so happens that there was another Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Taurus in 1999-2000 which sort of marked the peak of the first of the financial bubbles. So she and people born within a few months of her would have been hooked into this year very strongly on a psychic level (and material as well apparently).

Born also has Uranus at 27 Taurus so 3 of her outer planets are in that sign. Her generation was meant to go through something connected with Taurus' rulerships, of money, banking, possessions, self worth, material world. Uranus represents rebellions and shocks and surprises.

Looking at Saturn in this chart one sees why (now that it's afterthefact, of course) Born would be the one to give off the warning for her generation. Saturn rules caution and all warnings. Saturn also rules an excellent sense of timing. Saturn in this chart is heavily emphasized because it was Stationing Retrograde in Taurus on the day she was born.

Saturn is also the Lead Planet of the bowl shaped chart. Bowl shaped charts have all planets on one side. Spiritually this is supposed to mean that the person is aware of the fact that they are missing their other half. In this case it could account for Born's hyper awareness, especially of her generation's faults.

Or because of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction she was speaking out on behalf of her entire generation. The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in this chart is unaspected by major aspect to other planets which means that it stands out in some way. That could be why no one paid attention, not the pessimists (Saturn). Not the optimists (Jupiter). Not the Democrats (Saturn). Not the Republicans (Jupiter). (I may have the parties turned around, whatever at this point).

A person with a Sun-Mercury-Mars conjunction is also going to be the type who will give off an alarm as they will want to communicate. Sun-Mars will be the first to enter the room. This impulsiveness is perhaps the problem. Perhaps Born needed to prepare and plan for her announcement so that it would be believable, as stupid as that sounds.

So, Born's chart contains many indicators for why no one would have listened to her at the time. No oppositions (show relationship, harmony, balance). Bowl shaped chart. Lots of Islands. Saturn Rx. Low key earth personality, especially with Virgo Sun.

I was curious to see what Chiron is doing in Born's chart as Chiron is known as the wounded healer. It usually shows where we can't seem to fix a problem. Chiron is at 28 Cancer and in conjunction with Pluto 4 Leo. The connection over the Cancer-Leo cusp could perhaps just show that she represented a bridge between one way of thinking and another. Pluto brings Fame. It also brings Crises and, of course, is connected with Financial Crises as it rules all dealings with other peoples' money. Cancer represents emotional security. Leo represents risk taking and fun. They thought she was just being a spoilsport. She also has Lilith in conjunction with her South Node in Aries which shows some sort of rejection coming into her destiny from a spiritual element. The Passive Aggressive Bell

The Market tanked more than 600 points today in reaction to the downgrading of the U.S. Credit Rating. President Obama spoke and said that the reason for the downgrading was not because the U.S. cannot pay her bills, it's because of the lousy politics. We're blaming this mostly on the Tea Party. They're a great place to start but I can think of a few more folks who could take the blame as well. With Saturn in Libra in the first house of the chart it makes sense that politics could be involved. Certainly placing blame is.

There are two ugly signatures here.

I've seen before that Mercury-Venus conjunctions often accompany crashes in the Stock Market. I suspect that is just because these two rule the Markets together and show that people are more likely to make trades on those days. Right now we're in an extra long conjunction of Sun-Venus and Mercury is moving Retrograde. This conjunction will last for pretty much the rest of the month.

Also of concern is the Mars-Pluto opposition. Mars is at 4 Cancer opposing Pluto 6 Capricorn. Mars is generally pretty disruptive when in the sign of Cancer because the combination of Mars in Moon ruled sign generally signals volatility. Mars is also out of bounds and will continue to be out of bounds for most of the rest of the month.

Mercury Stations Direct around Aug. 26. Mars drops down below the Ecliptic around Aug. 21.

Right now, Mars is opposing Pluto and this opposition is layered over the 4th-10th House angles of the chart with Pluto in the 4th House. What a great time to pull the rug out from under Wall Street's feet. Saturn is roughly squaring that from the 1st house and Uranus from the 7th House. So, the angles are loaded and someone's shifting the poles.

With Virgo Rising Mercury currently rules the Opening Bell charts. And then Venus will rule the Opening Bell Charts. And as I said these guys are going to be in conjunction for a while. They will be opposing Neptune-Chiron in Aquarius/Pisces. This will affect the 5th and 11th Houses.

Okay, that's not funny. What is funny is when you look at the goons who grade the U.S. Economy. Turns out there are 3 credit Agencies who publish report cards on the International Economies. I, a member of the U.S. public, don't have a clue what they do. CNN and NBC and all those guys are pulling out the stops on creating a panic over this shit. 2 of the companies gave stern warnings but maintained the AAA grade for the U.S. for now. Standard & Poor's has downgraded the long term outlook for the U.S. credit borrowing. That seems really sensible to me seeing as how we've become addicted to bombing the Middle East and do pretty much nothing else. Cocaine would be a less expensive alternative.

So, Standard & Poor's is not the only Credit Rating firm in the Universe. It is actually not the biggest or most influential one. Moody's is. Moody's has 40 percent of the market share. Market share of what I don't know, I'm just going off of what Wikipedia says and that can be quite funny.

Moody's and S&P were both begun as ways to track the financial dealings of the Railroads in the U.S. and then they moved on to other industries. The Astrology for these companies seems to be crisis motivated. Don't have a lot of dates to go on here but noticed that they seem to incorporate and hire leaders during years when there is a big war. I guess that the guys who don't go to battle have to figure out something to do while staying at home.

So we'll look at Moody's first.

Just thought I'd mention that, it's really scary.

Now we have Standard & Poor's. As I said, it was first created as a result of studying the railroad business. Some guy whose last name was Poor wrote a book about money. Isn't that cute?

Such a Stimulating Bell

I did not remember that there is an opposition between Venus and Pluto going on right now, that's the truth. But, I did look at today's Opening Bell Chart intending on gaining an understanding of why Ben Bernanke looks so sexy when he's promising to bolster the economy with more Stimulus.

I'll write that again: Stimulus. Venus in Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn. Stimulus.

Today's news had a big nice picture of My Magic Federal Reserve Chairman boyfriend Ben Bernanke. He's so photogenic. Must be the Pisces Moon. Ben was saying the Federal Reserve is ready to bolster the economy with 3 different plans if the Budget poo in Congress can't be resolved. He mentioned 3 solutions but I only remember the word Stimulus. I don't think I have a single hormone left in my body.

It helps that the Stock Market rose 100 points after Ben said that. Venus likes a guy with deep pockets.

Uranus is in H8. Surprise Surprise. The Sun is unaspected up in the 11th House of Hopes, Wishes, and Surprise, the show must go on. Group Sex if you will. We all get to see the photo of Ben all at once. Hold on to your Optimism America. Greece, the Birth Place of Democracy is in Bankruptcy and nobody's doing much of anything to bolster it back up except Germany who still needs a place to visit in the Summer. Our Hopes don't align with what the rest of the chart is saying, except for Germany, of course, who likes to buy things cheaply.

Well, if Uranus is so close to the H8 and it is opposing Saturn in the 2d house that means that within a few more days those guys will have passed out of the finance houses and will be in the driver's seat. We have to get past the Full Moon on July 15 which fills in the empty leg of the t-square between Saturn-Uranus-Pluto. Great day to do demo. As a matter of fact, Los Angeles is closing a huge portion of the 405 freeway over this next week-end in order to yank down the Mulholland Bridge over the week-end. The force will be with them. Maybe even an earthquake, although I don't think earthquakes need a full Moon in order to happen. Mulholland was the Virgo who brought water to California by building damns. He said something like "Take It. It's yours!" Then he got a little in over his head and built a bad damn that flooded half the valley. So he spent the rest of his life hiding in his mansion. Now they are saying that all the damn systems in California might be the reason why the Hayward fault is not erupting. Apparently the damns stop the flooding and the fault lines tend to erupt after flooding. There's something so incredible about when Virgos make mistakes. It's as if divine reasoning is making them do it in order to improve things on a larger scale.

I think that Mercury rules the ASC/DESC which describes the sales pitch and the multiple solutions for how to keep things afloat. Marketing blitz. Why not? Also good for anything having to do with printing paper bills.

The Birth of the Global Elite

While reading an article about how people don't really read anything in depth anymore I sort of glanced through an interesting article in The Atlantic Monthly this morning. And I didn't really read the article in depth. I just noticed that it looked really, really interesting, talking about how there's this subset of hyper rich people who live on an international level and don't have much to do with the rest of us, except maybe give to charity and stuff. Hey, it's Sunday and this is about as religious as I can get it.

The article is called "The Rise of the Global Elite" by Chrystina Freeland (did I get her name right?). It's about the "Plutocratic Elite." Right there we see the Astrobabble burbling up. Plutocratic Elite? Pluto in Sagittarius and Capricorn? Top of the heap? Don't leap? (Sorry that last one rhymed so I just stuck it in).

Freeland says that this new age of young super rich and well educated kids (and their prostitutes, don't forget the hookers) who exist on an International level began when a company called Blackstone (Black=Saturn+Pluto?) equity went public with an offering on June 21, 2007. The owners were able to become Billionaires pretty much instantly. There was also a book signing on that day at somebody's private home about a book which talks about and sort of describes this crowd of super wealthy people. The book was written by some rich guy's daughter who is also rich herself. It's about Rich Mothers or something which I don't understand. Since I only glanced over the article I can't say any more than that. Go buy the magazine. It just makes sense since the Sun was right over the Gemini/Cancer cusp on the Aries Point. Cancer rules Moms and Homes and also Long Distance overseas travels (even rich homes) and the Aries Point is said to bring celebrity of whatever type. Cyberspace, or Your Place? (not clever, but rhymes).

And, this Sun at 30 Gemini is also opposing Pluto 28 Sagittarius Rx, the planet of Power hungriness and hey, dude, act charming and friendly and let's go to that hot new club that nobody else can get in to. Pluto is hovering back and forth over the Galactic Center doing its thing on the spot that is supposed to again get triggered somehow in the 2012 debacle, only with the Earth energy rather than the Pluto energy. (Neptune and Uranus were at this spot in the late 1980s).

The Global Aspect of the situation is pretty clear through the middle and outer planets' connections in the chart.

Jupiter, sign of International Relations and Travel, is in its own sign of Sagittarius. It is trining Saturn in Leo - Social connection connected with the Royalty thing. And it is accompanied by Pluto in Sagittarius and as I said Pluto is all about Power and is opposing the Sun which is also about Power. The Power and Fame Game. (I rhymed again).

Also, Uranus is conjunct the Pisces North Node. The Global Connection of wealth made possible by Technology and Science. Uranus and Neptune are in their long term mutual reception. In the chart, this is mirrored on a personal basic by a Moon-Mercury mutual reception.

Saturn 22 Leo is conjunct Venus (money, luxury) and opposing Neptune 22 Aquarius Rx. This isn't really about Sex as much as it is about prestige and personal comfort. Neptune is conjunct Chiron, so that's maybe a clinker, maybe not. These folks might feel twinges of guilt over their situation. (Twinges). They probably can look down from the windows of their personal jets and tell you all about who's starving and raping and pillaging where and how much they have given and will give and maybe will even do a meet n' greet next July after that big merger wraps up.

Mercury is Retrograde in this chart at 11 Cancer. Something about self protection here? Conservative, family values and traditions despite the international thing? Mercury will remain Rx by progression until around 2025 so this generation will certainly enjoy itself. This is a generation which is seeding a whole new set of somethings. Mercury is trining the North node but is unaspected to other planets which gives a sort of isolationist aspect and gives it yet more prominence. I can't say what it will mean. They might collect villages the way I collect yarn balls. It's a Gemini/Cancer thing, to collect.

Oh, and Mars and Jupiter are in their own signs. That's playful. That's firey. Jupiter and Neptune are in accidental dignity. but there are no planets in detriment or Fall. More Blessings. Kind of a set of Fairy Godmother aspects.

Double Scorpio Opening Bell

Well, so it's an Election Year and they say the Market doesn't tank during an Election Year.

Tomorrow's Opening Bell is going to test that theory. At 9:30 Wall Street is going to be a Double Scorpio. It's been a Double Scorpio Bell ever since the Sun entered that sign last week. Scorpio rules Investments in Other People's Money. It sort of looks like this Bell isn't concerned with that stuff right now, really, though. The trend is going more in the opposite direction as Pluto, Ruler of Scorpio is in the 2d House conjunct the Opening Bell. That's Banking and Cash (and how much you value yourself).

Sun 3 Scorpio; Moon 1 Gemini; ASC 27 Scorpio; MC 11 Virgo; NN 6 Capricorn

Anyhoo, a Crisis gets Scorpio all hot and bothered. Scorpio is the Phoenix who rises up out of the ashes and brags about how transformed he feels from the purification process. That's because Scorpio is a very determined and strong willed sign. Everyone else is sitting around totally wasted and doesn't know why the Hell we have to bother with the idea of transformation. Well, if you garden you know how much better the plants grow if you prune them back. That's Scorpio. Give a Scorpio a set of clippers and a rose bush and you'll see what I mean. So, think about how good the market will feel after you've been flushed out along with all the rest of the dead weight.

At any rate, there's going to be some huge manipulations in the money markets tomorrow. Scorpio Sun, Scorpio Rising, Gemini Moon, Who we kidding here? The media will be involved and the Real Estate Market will be involved. And probably some immigrants will be involved. And the Republicans. And the President will be right where he ought to be but he won't be feeling real good about it (Saturn exalted and in its own house, squaring Pluto, Capricorn intercepted in the 2d).

The reason why I'm looking at this Bell is because my Father always told me that 3d Quarter Reports are a good reason to avoid investing in Stock Markets. He was a Scorpio and he grew up in the Depression so you can tell they screwed up his childhood Birthdays royally.

Also, I'm looking at this bell because I've noticed that often there is a correlation between Mercury-Venus conjunctions and crashes. It will be great at the end of the week to look back and say, hey, that wasn't so bad and I can throw that theory out the window. Mercury and Venus together rule marketing (maybe along with Moon) and the idea is that this combination will show that people are more likely to dabble in the markets. Tomorrow the conjunction is to the degree.

And there's a very volatile opposition of Mars to Moon layered right over the ASC/DESC of the chart which could show panic. What may make this a different one is that the planets are in Scorpio in the 12th House so the dealings may be more shrewd, tight lipped and behind the scenes. And there's an election coming up.

The Sun is always in the 11th House in U.S. Stock Market Opening Bells but right now the Sun is really close to the 12th House cusp and it's conjunct Venus Rx-Mercury in Scorpio which are in the 12th House. Venus rules Banking and Money so this Rx and conjunction to Mercury and Sun in the sign of other people's money is looking very complicated. 12th House might indicate some sort of angelic influence, the Neptunians always like to see it that way, Rose colored glasses and stuff, and deception. And boy, do I ever hope they pull out all the stops on that deception stuff because 12th House also rules self-undoing (once Neptune and Pluto and Mercury move away we all start chanting about how honesty is the best policy, but generally by then it's too late to do anything about it).

At any rate, a Moon-Mars opposition set right over the ASC/DESC is volatile and could show panic. This is squaring Neptune-Chiron in Aquarius. Neptune keeps showing up and this brings in the Hollywood thing, and hopefully not the jumping out the window thing. Spin the Wag, or Tail the Dog. Chiron added might show something different but who knows. The Neptune-Chiron conjunction has moved off the angle of the IC but Neptune still rules that angle. 3d House shows that the media will be wagging their tongues and nobody's gonna know what they're saying (but sometimes that's all it takes). 4th House shows Real Estate and the Public and Emotional Reactions. Mercury rules the Virgo Midheaven and Mercury is in the 12th House conjunct Venus Rx (Banking).

Pluto, the Ruler of this chart is squaring Saturn, the Ruler of Democrats (from what I've googled/gathered, Jupiter rules Republicans and Saturn rules Democrats). A Saturn/Pluto square brings loss, the painful kind. It can bring new motivations for leadership and ethics, just because all acts are pretty ruthless and probably a little corrupt right now. Saturn is very strongly placed in this chart in Libra (exhalted) and in the 10th House (natural house). Saturn shows governance and the President and in Libra there's a need to get along.

The Moon at 1 Gemini is apex of a Yod to a Sun 3 Scorpio (H11) sextile to Pluto 4 Capricorn (H2). There's something wrong with the female element in this chart. It's very out of balance.

Jupiter-Uranus, both Rx, are in conjunction in the 4th House. As I said this could be Real Estate, Farming, Overseas investments, Techies, Public, Oceans, Water.

By Closing Bell, Pluto-NN will be conjunct elevated in H10. Saturn will be in H7. Jupiter-Uranus will be in H1. That's angular and so the influences are strong. Sun, Mercury, Venus Rx, and Mars in Scorpio will all be in the 8th House. They will be trining the Jupiter Rx-Uranus RX conjunction in the 1st house. Neptune will rule Closing Bell chart. That's compassion, emotionalism, self-undoing. However, Neptune will be in his own house, the 12th, so perhaps, hopefully, compassion will rule out. We're all more compassionate towards others after a day of huge losses in the Stock Market, aren't we?

For the rest of this week Mars will be conjunct the Ascendant of the Opening Bell and both change signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius. So, the tone will change to Optimism. Friday shows a Grand Trine between Mars/ASC to Moon in Cancer (H8) to Jupiter-Uranus (H4).

"Drink Me" or Stories About the SEC

Found a great article written by Marjorie Orr over at Astrology.com on all the Virgo stuff going on over at Goldman Sachs. I don't understand where she got some of the dates for Goldman Sachs but I didn't look very hard. What I did notice over at Wikipedia's entry for Goldman Sachs is that it was Founded 1869 right as the Neptune-Pluto conjunction in Taurus was forming. Interesting to match up what Robert Blaschke says about Mercury Rx in Taurus while keeping that in mind. My original intent was to figure out why Goldman Sachs is denying its wrong doing. And to do that I was looking for some kind of lyer aspect. And to to do that I was preparing myself to focus on Neptune-Mercury type stuff. Maybe adding Jupiter and Pluto in there for good measure. And so far this looks good in that regard. Perhaps this Mercury Rx in Taurus is going to dredge up all kinds of bad stuff that began around the time of that conjunction. I was just thinking that all kinds of good stuff started around the time of that conjunction, but the stuff I was thinking about was mostly in the Arts and Imagination. That's the other side of Venus besides the money thing.

Looked up the SEC's chart. Have to admit I wanted to find the reason for the porno, the getting caught with the pants down aspect, so to speak. I got distracted by the other stuff which is equally fascinating but not quite as funny. So, wait just a second and I'll go have a peak, so to speak.

Oh, haha, it's right there. Progressed chart shows that the SEC is just finishing up a Venus conjunction to natal Pluto in Cancer. And not progressed Mars is 3 degrees away and approaching. They're going through a sexy phase, what can I say?

The thing about being attracted to the kinky in the first place, and getting caught, is the natal Mars-Chiron conjunction in Gemini squaring the natal Saturn in Aquarius. The Internet is just laying the foundation for one big long game of Screwdriver for these boys and girls. Progressed Venus has moved into Leo now so perhaps they'll get free tickets to the opera and start whacking off in the boxes. Or maybe they'll do it at NASCAR races. Who the hell knows? Wow, what a weird chart for Securities Exchange Commission. This is basically the chart for Meth Freak. As I said, natal Mars conjunct Chiron in Gemini squaring Saturn. These guys don't know if they are making the laws or running from them.

Then there's the Venus. Venus rules money and banks. But these guys have a very artistic idea of what that means. Venus is in Taurus in the procreation chart. That's awesome. And it's conjunct Uranus which doesn't do rules and regs but it does do entrepreneurship and innovation. Venus-Uranus in Taurus is trining Neptune. Venus-Neptune trine likes to sing and dance and sell dope. HaHa this is great.

Pretty crazy. Saturn, which rules governance and regulations, is in Aquarius and disposits to Uranus, which doesn't do governance and regulations. Uranus went into Rx by Progression back around 1995 just when the market went on its long Spring Break, thank you Weird Alan.

Pretty crappy stuff started to pull the party apart. First of all, that Gemini Sun in the natal. That got hit by the Saturn-Pluto-Chiron opposition back in 2001-2. That's just when progressed Venus was exactly conjunct natal Pluto and inconjunct Saturn (prog.). That's when the porn market must have exploded, so to speak.

Born in September Millionaires

A Forbes article called "A Recipe for Riches" (http://finance.yahoo.com/career-work/article/107927/a-recipe-for-riches.html?mod=career-leadership) looks for the common traits of self-made millionaires and has found that the most common birth month of self made millionaires is September. Out of 380 self-made millionaires, 42 were born in September. Go Virgos. Go Libras. The Rulers of these signs are Mercury and Venus which are the two planets that rule the markets. Pretty early on in the person's life his Sun will progress into shrewd Scorpio where it will remain for 30 years. That's enough time to build up a decent portfolio. The most determined sign, it also helps to steer through crisis management.

The entire Fall season is the most common month for self-made millionaires except for December. So, the Scorpio Suns are included. That leaves out the Sagittarians.

Interesting that another common denominator has to do with a Sagittarian subject: Higher Education. The moguls either dropped out of college or went to one of 3 Ivy League Schools. Unless you are going to Harvard, Columbia, or some weird school in Pennsylvania that I've never heard of before, drop out.

Of the Pluto in Leo and Pluto in Virgo generations, this also means that the Sun will never have to progress over the native's natal Pluto.

Another key money planet in the chart, Venus will probably be in the signs of Leo through Capricorn. With the exception of Capricorn, that means that Venus, like the Sun, will be in a sign which is considered controlled by others (right side of Astrological Wheel). Pretty interesting. In other words, I read that to mean that Accumulation of Wealth is related to people skills. Interesting that Venus is included by Sun Sign rulership but not through the sign of Taurus which is the ruler of money.

I wonder if the Sun Sign prominence of wealth changes in relation to the generations as indicated by the Outer Planets.

Oh yeah, the article also says that having parents with Math Skills helps a lot. Something will show up in the person's IC/MC axis which shows Mathematical abilities.

The Pie Chart and Humpty Dumpty

In my previous post called "Stimulus" I talked about Pluto's influence on the current Economic Stimulus Plan that is being debated in Government. Scorpio/8th House topics are what stimulate us overall. Sex, Death and Taxes. I forgot to mention that Crises are often what motivates us. And manifesting our Fears. The Scholars and Intellectuals and Media who are talking now are certainly creating a Fear Factor. Sad to say that I worry that the Pluto in Virgo generation is just a bunch of critics who couldn't stimulate a pig to roll in the mud.

Okay, Pluto in Virgo here. I'm mean, I'm petty, I'm critical and I'm worried. But everytime I hear about the Stimulus Plan I hear in my head:

Humpty's Men have provided us the foolish Public with a Pie Chart of proposed expenditures for Investing Money into the Economy. 800 Billion Dollar's Worth or so. We already threw 700 B to the Bankers and they took a nice Christmas Vacation on their Lear Jets before giving them back to Boeing or wherever Lear Jets come from (maybe sold to Osama). They enjoyed some great end of the Year Bonuses and won't lend money out and have probably just decided to sit back and relax for the next 15 years. Banking and Taurus are at the opposite end of what Pluto's all about. Pluto is Banking's Shadow Brother. They can't exist apart from each other. And when they act like this they're a totally unfortunate presence.

We can see here that Taxes are a big piece of the Stimulus Pie. That sounds like gastrointestinal hell. Much of the rest of areas of Investment will be into Mutable Sign areas. Is this a leftover from what should have happened while Pluto was in Sagittarius? Pluto empowered/destroyed the mutable signs already.

Pluto is now in Capricorn. It seems that there has to be a focus on ripping apart and reconstructing all things Cardinal. Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. New Starts. Implementing new Programs and Ideas. Mutable Signs can come up with so many ideas, after all.

This stimulus plan was obviously written with a bit too much of a Mutable Sign emphasis perhaps. There's some good Cardinal Stuff, but there's not much to let the Fixed Signs chew on.
Lawyers are 9th House. Higher Education is H9. Lower Education is H3. Welfare is H12. Healthcare is H6. All the refining elements of living in a society are Mutable. We're supposed to use it now to start something new. Not to Fix which is Fixed Sign. Not to make due with which is Mutable.

This is my Score Card for how well the Stimulus Plan would fit in with Pluto in Capricorn which is where the Stimulus needs to go.

Biggest chunk of Stimulus is Tax Cuts. Pluto. Good. But Capricorn is about Self Reliance and Stoicism and doing the Right Thing because doing the wrong thing will come back to bite you. There are things to watch out for, like ruthlessly clobbering others in order to look good in society and abusing authority and watching out for the interests of old established firms. Actually, those are the qualities that Pluto would hopefully take its wrecking ball to. Hopefully, Pluto actually agrees with a lot of the bad stuff that Capricorn does, just wants to appear sensitive while doing it rather than open handed and brash.

Aries isn't represented here much which worries me, except for the fact that we are in a Rush to get this thing passed. Remember Paulson of Banking/Mortgage Bail Out Fame was Aries. Libra is completely absent from this plan, which is extremely worrying because that means that means that the unhealthy side of that sign could leak into the picture. Libra represents Diplomacy, which Obama has plenty of so maybe things are ok. Libra also represents Balance, Harmony, the Arts and man's first feeble attempt at dealing with others on a civilized level. Of course, Artists are not part of the plan. If you don't give your society the arts, you don't have a civilization.

Here's the pieces of the Pie. Think I got most of it. The Pie doesn't look all that crummy methinks. The Fixed Signs had better be given more outlets, imo.

• Transform nations' energy transmission. That could be Aries, Good.

• Repair public housing. Ergh! Well, it's Cancer, or probably more like Capricorn since Cancer prefers doing what's nurturing and healthy. Good enough for Government.

• Weatherize modest income home. Cancer? Uranus (fixed). Mercury (mutable). Good.

• Science facilities, research. Well, Research is Pluto. Depends what kinds of Science. Capricorn likes Science. Good. Empiracle ass kissing science though, conservative shit. Keeps the Virgos going.

• Expand Broadband Internet Access. Mercury (Mutable), Uranus (Fixed). Wah. Might not happen. Better be careful who they hire for this one. Well, this is necessary.

• Highway Construction: Mutable (H3 and H9). Not in the cards, but is necessary.

• Modernize Federal & Other Public Infrastructure: Modernize is Uranian. Federal is Capricornian as is Public Infrastructure whatever that is. Sounds like a Saturn-Uranus-Pluto t-square thing.

• Clean Water, flood control, environmental investment. Water Signs and Virgo, Good, especially if Cancerian and Plutonian Water Systems concentrated on. That means plumbing and sewer.

• Transit and Rail. Mutable, H3 and H9. Won't help.

• Local School Districts. Mutable, H3. Won't help.

• State Fiscal Relief. Don't know. Taurus, H2? Make the Bankers pay.

• Pell Grant. Higher Education. Mutable (H9). Problems ahead.

• Higher Education Modernization. More H9 and Uranus. This is special interest b.s. at this point. We educate immigrants before we educate citizens so what do we expect. There, I said it.
  

• Health I.T. Mutable (probably H6)? don't know what this is. Isn't Cardinal.

• Preventative Care. I suppose this is very Cancer/Capricorn (along with Virgo), so good.

• Unemployment Benefits. H12, Mutable? This'll drain out pretty quick, but buying time seems like an applicable Pluto in Capricorn type of subject matter.
  

• Healthcare. Mutable, H6. Time to join a Christian Science Church and just say that your illness doesn't exist. The Pluto in Cancers were the last of the Good Doctor generation anyway.
  

• Food Stamps. Cancer, probably with Neptune/Pisces. Good but might not survive the big t-square. We may not have Food after this thing is done with us.
  

• Medicaid. (Mutable) Bah. Let's face it we have to completely start over in this area, poor Pluto in Leos trying to retire.
  

• Law Enforcement. (H6) Mutable. Might not be able to hold down the fort.

Nothing about Border Control which needs all the 4 points of Cardinal to be effective. Nothing about fostering Innovation by encouraging meetings of great minds to figure out a new structure or order. Nothing about helping people to help themselves. Nothing about switching the Farming communities over to Sustainable, Organic, Local businesses. No Arts. No interest in seeking real talents. Don't they have to raise taxes in order to pay off the debt? I can go on and on. Nobody reads this anyway -- Good thing about Pluto in Virgo, too boring to make a difference.

Stimulus

Stimulus ought to be a word exclusively used for Sex. But, alas, the 8th House doesn't differentiate between Sex, Death and Taxes. We're not talking about Enthusiasm. Plutonians don't inspire. We're talking about selfish desire. At any rate, Investment managers are killing themselves, parents are killing their entire families. Bernie Madoff couldn't care less as is the way with Sociopaths, another Plutonian pop-up that we all possess mostly to a lesser degree. Hey, your Devil May Care attitude created your best memories. Admit it.

This sounds like some good old 8th House stuff. And some single woman just gave birth to 8 artificially inseminated babies to go along with the 6 she already has. That's not Plutonian, more like a Lunar Whack Job, but for some reason I just mentioned it. Maybe because it's being connected with Obsessive Compulsive disorder in the media.

When things go wrong with things 8th House how does one fix them? How does one Stimulate the house that is considered the most Stimulating? What do we do when we've lost our Mojo? For one, the Astronomers have got to bring back Pluto. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Pluto was discovered in 1930, spun around in the limelight for 70 something years until the Astronomers pulled it off the shelf. Big mistake. Big one. I think they did that in August, 2007 right when the Financial Crisis began, didn't they? Really mysterious how this stuff works.

Obama's got some plans to fix the economy and I've listened to a few comments about whether they'll work or not. The infrastructure and a list of other stuff. Tourism is big on the list, that's weird. Somebody's gonna hafta come up with yet another Disneyland. Ho Hum. Not another Matterhorn. Perhaps a lost in Space type of situation where we send people out into orb and then don't tell them that they can't return. Just a polite "Bah Bye." Brutal Pluto in Capricorn type of stuff. I guess if we can't fix things it's because we're just thrashed. We'll have to coast in eternal gargoyle poverty for the next 10 years.

One commentator on NPR (don't remember name) mentioned that the 30s Depression Stimulus plans which are the ones that Obama is copying actually didn't help anything. Unemployment in 1939 was just as bad as unemployment in 1933. (If I heard this correctly) He said that the way that the economy is Stimulated is by helping the Corporations to get back on their feet. This was done by Kennedy and by Reagan. That sounds more correct by Astro Standards because this sort of feeds our Inner Hookers I suppose. I don't know anything about what was done during those times, but since one was done by a Democrat and one by a Republican I sort of figure there might be some sensibility in what the commentator said. No one mentioned what Clinton did. That's odd since he actually left the Country with a surplus. Clinton and Gore are Fire Signs and Fire works on enthusiasm... Kennedy and Reagan were Air Signs. That's only Sun Sign stuff but amazing how much info that stuff gives when you're feeling too lazy to look up the charts.

Either way, Corporations are definitely 8th House entities so it seems that this would work for a Stimulus plan. Corporations are kind of like legalized Prostitution. They don't really pay taxes but they do hire a lot of people. I suppose I should suggest legalized Pot but the stuff makes me so damn sick I can't help you slobs out with that.

Clinton raised Taxes but I believe the others lowered Taxes. Taxes are also a Stimulus.

I wonder how many of the Prozac generation are having Sex. Seems that stuff let the air out of a lot of jets with the old lowered libido stuff. We've pissed it all into the ocean and the fish aren't even having Sex anymore. And, of course, I never really thought the Pluto in Virgos and Pluto in Libras were that into it anyway. More like we just like to watch. Well, the Pluto in Scorpios may be able to get things back on track. Perhaps...

Wall imagery is coming up a lot for me lately. Must be the Mars-Saturn-Pluto transits I'm going through. More on that later, hopefully. Anyway, building walls and tearing them down is probably a very Plutonian type of cycle, well, the tearing down part at any rate.

Some Notes about California's Budget Crisis and Progressed Chart

I just noticed some interesting dates that surround the Progressions in California's chart so I'll note them here along with some other observations about the current Budget crisis which is unbelievably huge.

California
Sept. 9, 1850 San Jose, CA (I think it was San Jose???)

Sun 17 Virgo; Moon Libra or Scorpio; NN 15 Leo

A couple of key indications for the Budget Crisis.

First off, the Saturn-Uranus opposition is transiting over California's Sun. I've mentioned before that I've noticed that this is connected with Depressions. Although these aren't usually planets connected straight off with money in astrology, they are connected to handling of large sums of money because Saturn rules Government and Corporate Business (along with Pluto) and Uranus rules Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Opening Bell Charts of the Stock Market each and every day in the United States. The California Sun is therefore strongly hooked in to this Global phenomenon. It is also connected because its Pluto squares the U.S. Pluto. Pluto rules Taxes, Investments, Bankruptcy.

California's Sun (Ego, Vitality, Will) is very prominently placed in Virgo. One never really thinks of anything in Virgo being prominently placed because Virgo is sort of an "anti-prominence" sign, sort of low key and reserved. Virgo celebrities tend to try to fake humility more than the other signs because there is always that discerning critical nature which can't handle being seen as a jerk. Anyway, back to money. The Sun naturally rules Leo so Virgo is Leo's 2d House. One might imagine that when a Virgo Sun is under stress it will express itself through 2d House issues like Money and Values and Worth perhaps more than the other signs (but that is only a theory, nothing that I've heard from astrologers).

The Sun in California's chart is unaspected so doesn't flow well with the other planets in the chart. That means when it receives a major long-term transit like this Saturn-Uranus opposition, it can't pass on any of the tensions to other planets.

The Sun is also the dispositor of the Leo North Node. Right now Saturn is passing over the Sun which is a time for budgets and management and constriction. And Saturn is opposed by Uranus which I've noted before can be connected with major money crises. Even Leo Sun/Capricorn Moon Ahrnold S., patronizing as he is, can't balance the budget. He's also facing a California crowd of people. This is certainly a case of Uranian people rebelling against & opposing everything that a Saturnian figure wants to get done.

Another problematic transit is that California is going through a Nodal Opposition. This is a a time of confusion (from Komilla Sutton), especially when the planet of confusion, Neptune, is conjunct the t.North Node and natal South Node. Additionally, California's natal Neptune is at 6 Pisces so California is inching its way towards a Neptune Return. As the natal Neptune is trining Venus this could indicate a financial boom or bubble coming up, but that would still be about 10 years down the road. Neptune, along with Mercury (Bills), rule Bubbles. Venus in mythology was born from Bubbles. California is full of bubbly blonds, or at least the Hollywood part is. This could explain the crazy, wild "Rushes" that affect California's economy, especially in combination with the Dynamic & Creative but crisis oriented Uranus-Pluto conjunction in Aries.

I also looked at the Secondary Progressions for possible Retrogrades that would bring about a financial budget crisis. Didn't see any concerning inner planets which should be a good sign as far as getting the economy going. Overall, I didn't see anything in connection, but did notice some interesting progression events with the Outer Planets. California has natal Saturn, Uranus and Pluto in Aries. And all three of these planets are Retrograde in the "birth" chart. Progressed Saturn came out of Retrograde around 1948 at 15 Aries. I'm not sure if this is connected with anything special in her history that would be connected with Saturnian types of activities.

I did notice that progressed Uranus came out of Rx at 28 Aries in 1966-67 right when Haight Ashbury exploded into Wavy Gravy. Prog. Pluto came out of Rx shortly after in 1973-74 at 28 Aries so these two planets really like to work together in this chart. These two planets were in conjunction by transit in Virgo in the mid-60s just as they were coming out of Retrograde. This would have happened while the two planets were just passing over the natal California Sun (at about 20 Virgo). So these planets really like to play around with California's Sun. That does explain the need for experimentation in California, especially in fields that are natural for Virgo like Health and Technology. Even the Blond ideal "California" woman is Virgonian with the emphasis on baby like virginal features (well, in the facial features, not in the bust and hip line.)

While looking up California's history on Wikipedia I noticed that during the natal Uranus-Pluto conjunction in the years between 1845 and 1850 right as California was being "born" was very active. The Settlers rebelled against Mexico, Mexico ceded the territory, the Gold Rush began and California joined the union. That's a whole lot of turmoil in a short amount of time and it certainly sounds like a Uranus-Pluto conjunction. And in Aries, what a combination! Talk about Crisis oriented. It's very interesting that Uranus-Pluto transits don't seem to be connected with earthquakes in California. There was a big earthquake in the L.A. area in the late 60s (Chatta-something, can't remember the name of the town) but it wasn't as big as the later ones that came during the Uranus-Neptune in Capricorn earthquakes. But I have noticed that the Months of October and Aries seem to bring on the Big ones which would hook in to all those Aries planets in the natal chart. Since I know that there would have been huge earthquakes in California prior to its becoming a State, it's almost as if the Earthquakes chose California's birthdate. (that statement probably won't make sense to anyone).

California has been growing and growing in population and economy, probably more than any other state. The dislodging of all these outer planet progression by Retrograde in the sign of Aries since 1948 could certainly be a big growth factor. Interesting that California's Uranus-Pluto conjunction is squaring the U.S. Pluto but I suppose several other states share that aspect as well.

Money is indicated by Venus, Pluto, Jupiter and the Sun in a chart. California's Progressed Jupiter might be an indicator in the money problems as it (prog. Jupiter) turned Retrograde around 2000 at 24 Libra. This opposes the natal Uranus-Pluto conjunction and is a strong indicator for Crises for anything having to do with expansion and over optimism. Jupiter rules Higher Education, Lawyers and Law, International Affairs, and Immigration. There is a huge problem with large amounts of illegal immigrants who don't pay anything into the system but are having large amounts of kids who have to be taken care of. Few people seem interested in granting immunity as was done back in the 80s. I heard on the radio the other day that polls show that less than thirty percent favor this. Meanwhile many of the immigrants are voicing a lot of anger over the situation. This is perhaps a sign of the Jupiter Rx opposing Uranus-Pluto. California's progressed Mars is at 6 Aquarius. I didn't see any tense aspects but Mars and Uranus together can be a rebellious situation. Progressed Mercury is at 30 Capricorn and is squaring that Uranus-Pluto conjunction. It is also within conjunction of Progressed Mars which is a sign of alot of "discussion."

The California Venus is at 14 Libra and is at 10 Capricorn by progression so she is squaring herself by Progression. As one of Venus' rulerships is Banking and Money and Cash on Hand I guess it makes sense that this square proves to be a time of challenge in that direction. The Progressed Sun would be at 26 Aquarius which is just past a quincunx aspect with its natal spot. That aspect shows a time of "adjustment" in the State's vitality. Aquarius and Virgo working together would be very good for technology and innovation and also for bringing people together but these signs otherwise struggle to work on common ground as they don't share common traits by quality or element. Huge hoards (Uranus-Pluto) of needy, poor, uneducated people is not really healthy (Virgo) for the community overall. Meanwhile, all the rich Liberals and the Governor are oblivious to these people and are trying to take away funding from the schools.... and the High School drop out rate is somewhere near 40 percent in many of the poorer public shcool systems. Errrrrrrr.

Yesterday's News Compared With Stock Market's Astrolocality Chart

It looks like maybe these Astrolocality Charts work pretty well although it would help to have knowledge of world politics and economies in order to do a decent prediction. Personally I'm just worrying that the Italian and Japanese textiles designers will have to stop producing their beautiful yarns because although I can't really afford the stuff I really need to know that great beauty is being created at all times. So, that's where me head is, Cloud 9 or maybe is it Cloud 12? Anyway, my hair has gone almost completely gray over the last month and I've fried what's left with the curling iron because I keep waiting until I see smoke coming out of my head before taking the thing out.

Well, I totally ignored China. But the best News was from there as they have made up an Economic Stimulus package which should help the U.S. Economy by employing companies that do Infrastructure thingees. Companies like GE and Caterpiller. Jupiter is ruling Opening Bell Charts these days and is in the 1st House and the Jupiter DESC line was running straight through the center of China. Venus and Pluto are in conjunction with the Ascendant right now. In the Astrolocality Chart for yesterday's daily NYSE Market China is encased between the Venus Descendant line and the North Node DEsc line with Jupiter in the middle. Descendant shows relationship with others.

Other news was that Circuit City is declaring Bankruptcy. I hate that company so all I have to say is HaHa, shoulda happened sooner. I bought a laptop from that store and it broke after 13 days. I took it back and they charged me a restocking fee and wouldn't give me a raincheck for getting a computer on another day when they had more in stock. HaHaHa. Go the Hell, Circuit City and all your mean little employees in the place where I live can go too. I'm very sorry for the other employees who might have tried to be decent, honest people.

The U.S. Auto Industry has withered and is center of attention. GM is pretty much a goner because they got into the financial business. I guess Ford took out a couple of good loans back in the day and can stand up for a couple more years. The Saturn-Uranus opposition is placed in the transportation houses, H3 & 9 of the Opening Bell Chart. So, that makes sense. Saturn and Uranus are also co-ruling the 2d House. Uranus and the Moon are in the 3d House of the Opening Bell Chart and their lines enclose Michigan in the astrolocality chart. Kind of interesting how this turns out.

AIG, the big Insurance company conglomerate asked for and received more money, billions and billions of dollars to send their CEOs on more vacations. I'd like to say that's like put good money after bad but it seems more like the country is pouring blood into this company at this point. Photos of the CEOs at a company retreat dinner laughing their heads off while showing the photograph how to hold spoons on their noses will probably be in tomorrow's newspaper. Neptune is conjunct Chiron and North Node in the 2d house (Banking, Money). Neptune ruled Photos and surrealistic dreams that you wake up from 20 years later. This opposes the South Node (Screw ups) which is currently placed in the house of Insurance, Investing, Bankruptcy and Crisis.

I didn't find out if London or Paris did anything significant to affect the NYSE. That area was where the Saturn-Uranus-Venus-Pluto lines all converged. That should be where the real power broking is going on

Today's Bell: Triple Plutonian Uptick

Today's Dow rose 889 points which is a rise of 10.9 percent and the second biggest Stock Market gain ever. The Closing Bell hit over 9,000 points at 9,065. The Biggest Point Gain ever was on October 13, 2008 where the Dow closed up 936 points.

Today's Chart was Triple Scorpio. That's Determination, Investments, Behind the Scenes dealings and wheelings. This shows that the Ascendant and New Moon (Sun conjunct Moon) were all in Scorpio. Except for a sextile to Pluto, the Sun-Moon conjunction was unaspected by major aspects which emphasizes its influence in the chart.

And illustrating the "Do or Die" attitude, I read somewhere (would have been on Yahoo) that the "Government" "told" the Bankers to start lending money now. There's an urgency to the message.

Pluto rules lending and its influence in the chart is very strong as I pointed out. Saturn (the Authorities) is conjunct its natural spot at the MC. It is opposing Uranus and so they are both angling over the IC/MC axis for the next week. Today they were squaring 1st House Venus (Banks) in Sagittarius which has now moved Out-of-Bounds. Venus is parallel/contraparallel the two Houses of Finance, House 2 and 8.

Interesting to note that Ben Bernanke is now celebrating a Venus Return. His natal Venus is at 10 Sagittarius and transiting Venus is at 12 Sadge. Venus is now moving towards his Sun at 21 Sagittarius. That's imbues some serious snake charming abilities.

Mars is at 17 Scorpio up in the 12th House showing a lot of pushing behind the scenes. Paulson's still hanging in there, evidentally. Wikipedia says he's Christian Scientist. They're tough as nails. I don't know whatever happened to that other guy, Cox. Boy, I can't wait for the TV movie to be made on this crisis.

Looked again at the October 13 Chart to see if there's anything significant about these big point gain charts. The Moon is very connected with the Resource Houses in both charts. It disposits to Pluto (Moon in Scorpio today and in Aries on Oct. 13, rulership through old school). It is also in aspect to Pluto.

On the 13th, the Moon was in the 5th House and today she was in the 11th House. These are the Houses having to do with the more psychological versions of Resources, like Risk, Creativity, Confidence, Wishes, Hopes, Groups. They will show a more positive vibe than the 2d & 8th Houses which show what a person really has or what he/she can make out of others.

A couple of other similarities between the charts is that Venus has been in the 1st House and Jupiter has been in the 2d House. Overall, one would think that is a positive influence on things having to do with money. These aspects alone aren't really that rare so they are just adding to the overall tone. I'm not sure that they can hold up against Pluto's big crossing into Capricorn. Saturn opposing Uranus can be connected with serious, long term financial depressions as I've said before.

One more similarity is that Pluto, at 29 Sagittarius is in aspect to the Angles which are about to change signs in the charts. This might be significant, since Pluto rules investments. Pluto also probably embraces changing signs more than most of the other planets as it can do its transformation thing more easily that way. Today, of course, Pluto's presence is extremely prominent ruling the Sun-Moon conjunction and the chart. The Ascendant today is at 30 Scorpio so tomorrow Sagittarius will rise and Jupiter will begin to rule the Charts for about a month.

For comparison, on October 13, the Midheaven was at 29 Leo and was about to change into Virgo. I did notice a big quieting down surrounding reactions to the crashes. Even remember hearing on the radio (NPR) that the Drama was over. People just became resigned, or the smart ones just got busy and started shopping for bargains. Nobody's better at bottom fishing than the Virgos because they are naturally discerning.

According to Yahoo the biggest gainers in Today's market were the Telecoms and the Oil Companies. With North Node and Neptune in the 3d Houses, I guess one would expect to see them doing well. Verizon managed to post a big gain for its quarterly earnings as have many tech companies. The Oil Companies are such jerks I'm not even going there.

Alan Greenspan

The Crash is being blamed on Alan Greenspan for the most part. He kept Interest Rates too low for too long and sort of led all kinds of innocent homebuyers to the slaughter. He says that the Homebuyers are to blame. I blame the Money Lenders, myself. This is the same U.S. public that elected the Bush Administration into office twice in a row. Anyway, Greenspan did nothing to try to deal with the problem that comes up with these bubbles apparently. Maybe he did, they don't show that kind of thing on TV so who would I know?

Sun 16 Pisces; Moon in Scorpio or Sagittarius; NN 2????? Cancer Rx

Greenspan's chart is very similiar to the U.S. chart so whatever he does just reflects what the U.S. would do anyway. I'm not one to let a Pisces go off scot-free because they tend to do that way too much but in this case the astrology says that he's just part of the bigger picture.

Greenspan got on the horn and confronted his accusors and the media with a "Whoopsy, I goofed" statement yesterday. I wanted to look at his chart to see a couple of things. I wanted to see what indicates being blamed. I also wanted to look at the Nodal Cycle that would be associated with his 18 plus year reign at the Federal Reserve. I figured that must be a hum-dinger and it is.

The Blame Thing. Greenspan called the Crisis a tsunami yesterday and said he was in shock and disbelief. No wonder. He's going through his Uranus Return. Good time for a Shocker. Greenspan's chart is set up to receive the Saturn-Uranus opposition like bread and jam. Natally he has a (wide) Grand Trine between the two planets to his natal North Node at 25 Cancer. Right now he is approaching his Uranus Return at 20 Pisces. The Uranus-Neptune mutual reception has been linked with one weather catastrophe after another, why not a global financial one as well?

The synastry with the U.S. chart is really amazing. For one, the U.S. also has a trine between Saturn 15 Libra and Uranus 8 Gemini so they have a matching energy here.

In addition, the United States' opposition between Mercury and Pluto is conjunct Greenspan's Nodal Axis with Mercury Rx conjunct North Node and Pluto Rx conjunct South Node. Remember he's got a wide Grand Trine between North Node-Saturn-Uranus.

This means, there is a strong Kite configuration between Mercury and 3 Outer Planets: Saturn, Uranus, Pluto. In a way, this seems to show a lead up to the problems of the now upon us Saturn-Uranus opposition which will turn into a t-square with Pluto over the next few years.

In either the Gemini or Sagittarius Rising Charts for the U.S. this Kite's spine of Mercury to Pluto for the U.S. and Nodal Axis for Greenspan crosses the 2d and 8th Houses of Finances.

Natally Greenspan has a conjunction of Venus to Jupiter in Aquarius. The United States has one in Cancer. Those are rulers of Money in astrology. Venus in relation to Jupiter and Aquarius is a sky's the limit kind of thing. A conjunction in Cancer like the U.S. Chart has would show massive consumerism, probably greed, especially where home and land is concerned. The country has gone through an incredible rise in almost non-stop prosperity since Greenspan took over. My family was struck really badly by the Recessions in 1974 and 1982 so I'm old enough to remember what it was like before Greenspan showed up.

Greenspan's Venus-Jupiter conjunction is unaspected by Ptolomaic aspects so it sort of "runs away with the chart" to use Noel Tyl's words. No kidding. The conjunction, however, is in a minor aspect, quincunx/inconjunct, to Pluto, planet of Crisis and Investments. This seems to add a cog in the wheel to all the Bliss. Inconjuncts show energies that just don't blend.

Greenspan's Nodal Cycle as Fed Chairman. The Nodes return to their original spot about every 18 3/4 years. Greenspan took over as Chairman of the Federal Reserve on Aug. 11, 1987 and left on Jan. 31, 2006. The Transiting North Node was just approaching the Aries Point when he took over and when he left. This is conjunct his natal Mercury at 1 Aries. In 1987 his progressed Venus, ruler of Banks, was conjunct this spot to the degree. Aries Points show great prominence and projection out into the world.

The United States Sibley chart has Venus at 3 Cancer. This shows the Banking Systems of the Country and hooks right into Greenspan's natal Mercury, transits and progressions and also the Nodal Transits for when he took his leading position.

Looking at this even closer, one realizes that the Federal Reserve Bank's chart is strongly affected by this Nodal Transit as the Nodal Axis was squaring the Federal Reserve Bank's natal Sun-Pluto opposition on the Capricorn-Cancer Aries Points.

And Looking at this with Eyes Full of Horror is the current Pluto transit with Pluto at last degree of Sagittarius and moving on to the Capricorn Point.

Breathe. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale, Exhale. Pass out. Wake Up. Move on.

When Greenspan left the post in 2006 his progressed Venus was at 21 Aries and approaching a square to his natal Nodal Axis at 25 Cancer. Right now his Progressed Venus is conjunct his natal Chiron which squares his Nodal Axis. Once again, Keyword for Venus is Banks, Values, Money. Chiron is the Teacher/Healer who can fix everyone around him but can't heal his own wound.

Coincidentally, Greenspan was born on a Chiron Return for the United States so they have this planet in conjunction with each other. His Chiron is at 26 Aries; the U.S. Chiron is at 21 Aries. And by really strange coincidence, the progressed Venus's for both charts are very close to this point. Greenspan's progressed Venus is at 24 Aries and the U.S. progressed Venus is at 18 Aries.

And, this is right on the U.S.' t-square between Sun-Saturn-Chiron so it is heavily afflicted right now. (Prog.Venus-n.Chiron opposes natal Saturn 15 Libra and squares natal Sun 14 Cancer.) And to add an extra corrosive element, progressed Mars for the U.S. chart is moving backwards toward Saturn and is now at 19 Libra Retrograde.

Anyway, I've seen Chiron as a Scapegoat type symbol before. Scapegoats come from a mass mentality type of thinking.
