Who's Zoomin Who? Hypersonic Airplanes, Meteors and North Korea

Just read an article on Yahoo about a spacecraft which was launched off the coast of Central California last August.  This thing reaches top speed of MACH 20.  It fell into the Pacific Ocean after only 9 minutes of flight.  That's not so bad if you realize that it was created to blast around the World in less than an hour.  It would only take 12 minutes to jet from L.A. to New York.

What really attracted me to today's story was the factoid that it flew so quickly it flew right out of its skin.  Made me wonder what was going on with Saturn and Capricorn in the chart.  Those are the astro rulers of the skin.

http://www.darpa.mil/Our_Work/TTO/Programs/Falcon_HTV-2.aspx

I can't find an exact launch time.  Someone who blogged about it wrote at 2:49 pm that it had launched roughly 3 hours before time of writing.  At 2:49 pm Saturn would have just passed over the Ascendant (Skin on Face(H1)). Saturn was maybe emphasized because unaspected by major aspect to major planets.

Falcon HTV-2,
Aug. 11, 2011 about 11:49 am PDT  Vandenburg Airforce Base, California

Sun 19 Leo;  Moon 26 Capricorn (approx);  Ascendant maybe Libra;  MC Cancer or Leo;  NN 21 Sagittarius Rx

Lots of Saturn-Capricorn-H10 in the potential chart.

Moon in Saturn's sign.  All falls down with that one.

And up in Saturn's House 1 the Sun was conjunct Venus in Leo at 18-19 Leo.  Good time for a chemical peel on the face.

So, and yeah, look at that Mercury Rx at 29 Leo.  It seems that blast offs into Outer Space don't give a hairy fig about Mercury Rx but I think that the folks at DARPA (don't have a clue what that stands for) ought to pay attention to Mercury Rx.

Supposedly this is the 2d test launch for this Hypersonic aircraft.  The first one was launched in 2010 and I can't get the info straight.  The current news says that it also landed in the Pacific Ocean after a 9 minute flight. But, other articles say that it dropped into the ocean at 4:21 BST (British Summer time, I think that's 8:21 PDT time but can't vouch for it).  These reports say that it had a flight lasting 36 minutes which doesn't make sense because it would have been halfway around the world by then.

Mercury was also Retrograde on that day at 12 Taurus.

HTV-1 Falcon Hypersonic
missing Apr. 22, 2010  4:21 pm BST, or maybe 8:21 am PDT
so launch would have been either 9 or 36 minutes earlier.

Sun 3 Taurus;  Moon 14 Leo;  NN 16 Capricorn

Yesterday morning there was a bright flashing light and sonic boom which was heard-seen-felt all over California at around 8:00 am. I'm just going to be a conspiracy theorist here and wondering if maybe they are related?  You didn't hear it from me.

This flight had a big outer planetary lineup.  Jupiter was conjunct Uranus in Pisces (sorry I didn't write down the degrees) and opposing Saturn 30 Virgo.

Big Boom in California, unexplained phenomena, they say it's a meteor

Apr. 22, 2012  7:52 to 8:00 am California/Nevada

Sun 3 Taurus;  Moon 18 Taurus;  ASC 3 Gemini;  NN 8 Sagittarius Rx, MC 14 Aquarius

Mercury 6 Aries c. Uranus 7 Aries
Saturn 26 Libra Rx and unaspected in H6

Great aspects for a meteor huh? Moon conjunct Jupiter in Taurus just passed over the Ascendant. That's like a big f@art, but you didn't hear that from me. Just happens to have been perceived out there near Area 51.  But you didn't hear that from me.

And North Korea made good use of that Mercury-Uranus conjunction in Aries and Saturn to threaten to pulverize South Korea.   Scary.  Wish that hadn't really happened.

Juno

NASA did a funny thing with the orbiter it just sent off to visit Jupiter today. NASA called the orbiter Juno. In Greek Mythology, Jupiter is called Zeus. Zeus is the King of the Greek Pantheon and he is married to Juno. And Juno reigns as Queen and she's happy about that but in humorous circles she is known as the Jealous wife because Jupiter/Zeus, uh, is a bit of a philanderer.

The chart for the launch is pretty funny. Libra, sign that rules Marriage, is on the Ascendant so Venus rules the chart. She is conjunct the Sun in Leo up in the 10th House. This shows Social Status of the Ruling Class.

And then there's the jealous Moon (woman) in Scorpio in the 1st house opposing Jupiter in the 7th House of Marriage. Oppositions often show relationships as they represent opposite ends of the same pole. They just as often show balancing acts and the need to harmonize.

Mars is at 1 Cancer. I guess you could say that this will be a story of household discord.

Juno the Orbiter will reach Jupiter's orbit in July 2016 and will circle around him 33 times. She can't actually land on him because he's a big ball of gases (and she'd be the first to tell you that). After her orbits Juno will crash into Jupiter in October 2017.

You can read about what Juno will really be doing to Jupiter in scientific terms here:

Inhaling

No, this isn't about you and your bong.

Oxygen molecules have been found in deep space, only 1500 Light Years away.

Oxygen molecules were discovered on earth in the 1770s. It's a Pluto in Capricorn thing. Who would have thunk that in a hundred million zillion years?

Asteroid 2011 MD

Today at around 10:00 am Pacific Daylight Time (1700 GT) an Asteroid blew past Earth. Very politely without causing too much damage.

If you look at the webpage down below you can see how the asteroid is at the other end of the solar system from Mercury-Venus-Mars right now. It is inside the Moon's orbit and is even coming closer than many satellites' orbits. But it is not going to hit us.

Pretty interesting that the Sun is filling in the empty leg of the big outer planet t-square today all on Cardinal Signs. At the point of closest approach this Grand Square was doubly Cardinal as all planets were very close to the angles of the chart.

Sun 6 Cancer (H12) opposition Pluto 7 Capricorn (H6)
squares
Saturn 11 Libra (H4) opposing Uranus 5 Aries (H10)

Mercury was in the first house 23 Cancer and rising. Just checking out the neighborhood. Hopefully not bringing in any communicable diseases.

Asteroid 2011

Closest approach to earth

Sun 6 Cancer (H12); Moon 21 Taurus (H11); ASC 13 Cancer; MC 25 Pisces; NN 23 Sagittarius Rx (H6)

Looks like my software program is giving different degree placement from astrodienst so don't know if things are accurate.

Voyager Space Crafts Are Way Far Out There

The Voyager Space Crafts are celebrating their 33 year solar return out in space by leaving the Sun's "heliosheath." This is the spot 9 billion miles out there where the last little particles emitted by the Sun end and empty space begins.

Boy, how about that NASA? They sure can build some quality space craft when they put their minds to it.

Solar Return Charts are said to follow a 33 year cycle in which the Sun returns to its original house in the natal chart of a person. This is said to indicate a major turning point of self projection in an individual. And, boy, are these guys ever following right along with this path. This was the Age that Dante entered Hell. Voyager 1 and 2 are entering deep space, far away from the Sun's light. Same thing!!! Dante had Virgil. Hope Voyager 1 and 2 will continue to have NASA.

Well, I checked and this does seem to work. Voyager 1 launch chart has a H12 Sun and the 2010 Solar Return Chart does as well. Voyager 2 has an 11th House Sun. Solar Return Sun in 2010 Chart is in H11. Will wonders never cease? Those are the last houses of the Zodiac Wheel and the ones most connected with the idea of Deep Space.

(Word of warning, I had to calculate LT from UT time so can't guarantee accuracy.)

Pretty interesting how the Voyager Launches were both set off during a conjunction of Pluto-NN in Libra. Saturn is transiting over those conjunctions right now as the space craft venture out into deep space. They must be grieving in some way as that connection generally indicates loss. Amazingly, both launches have the conjunction in the 1st house!! Pluto-NN is in the sign of Libra, partnership and marriage.

NASA's WISE

NASA has put together a website which publishes all kinds of pictures and information which their WISE (Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer) is taking.

http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/WISE/main/index.html

The Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE, will scan the entire sky in infrared light, picking up the glow of hundreds of millions of objects and producing millions of images. The mission will uncover objects never seen before, including the coolest stars, the universe's most luminous galaxies and some of the darkest near-Earth asteroids and comets.

Launch:

Dec. 14, 2009 6:09 am PST Vandenberg Airforce Base

Sun 23 Sagittarius; ASC 11 Sagittarius; Moon 1 Sagittarius; MC 25 Virgo; NN 23 Capricorn Rx

Wow. A broad-minded triple Sagittarius! How's that for something called "Wide-Field?"

Sun is conjunct Venus in the first House and is squaring a tight conjuntion of H3 planets Chiron 23 Aquarius-Jupiter 24 Aquarius-Neptune 25 Aquarius. This means that chart ruler Jupiter is in the 3d house of communications.

Moon is in the 12th House of the chart and is squaring Uranus which is in the 3d house (c. IC) and is also ruler of that house.

Thought my computer program was broken. Saturn back in 2009 during this launch was at 4 Libra so it has barely budged from that spot. It was in the 10th House of this chart which is its natal house and was squaring 1st House Pluto 3 Capricorn.

Mercury was also in the 1st house.

Where was Mars? Oh, Mars was in Leo up in the 9th house trining the Sun-Venus conjunction.

No wonder the photos are so beautiful.

Red Rover Red Rover Let Spirit Come Over

NASA hasn't heard a peep from the Mars Rover called "Spirit" for a year and is giving the silent baby one more month to beep something back to earth before shutting down the program.

I'm thinking, hey, this is a chance for Mercury Retrograde to strut its stuff next month. During Mercury Retrograde you're supposed to hear back from people/entities that you haven't spoken to in a long time and there will be a Mercury Retrograde almost all month starting tomorrow (Mar. 31 to Apr. 25. (I'm not big on t.Merc Rx myself so I'm not holding up hope, but what do I know?)

Mercury stations Retrograde at 25 Aries March 31, 2011 and will turn direct on Apr. 25 at 13 Aries. Aries is the sign ruled by Mars. So, come on Boy, you can do it. Talk to Mama. Yahhh, atta boy! Goo boy.

Mercury was at 9 Pisces on March 22, 2010 at the time of the last communication. Mars had just stationed Direct after a really torturous 6 month transit through Cancer where it was opposing Pluto on the AP.

Rover was launched on June 10, 2003 which makes him a Gemini. He's definitely a communicator. Tell him the latest gossip, NASA, and he'll perk right up.

Dangerous Space Station Repairs

Two astronauts are tethered to the Space Station right now in the 1st of a 2-day long mission to switch out a busted 780 pound Ammonia Pump which has crippled the Air Conditioning on the Space Station.

With Pluto conjunct the North Node I suppose, but won't commit to the idea, that things can go wrong in outer space for earthlings. That's because of previous research and that amazing article about the Challenger over at Learning Curve on the Ecliptic blog. Pluto and the North Node are in a difficult t-square aspect to the Saturn opposition to Jupiter and Uranus and these planets are in prominent places at the Beginning of Cardinal Signs on the Astrological Wheel.

The Sun is in Leo today and the Moon is in Cancer. I have to look up what rules Air Conditioning and cooling systems. Circulatory Systems are ruled by Uranus. Coolness would be indicated by Earth and Water and I'll have to find Rex Bills to know what else specifically.

And I also need to know what the Space Station's sign is.

The Heroic Astronauts who are doing today's job are both Fixed Signs and their natal Sun are being challenged by the transiting Sun. The Sun is courageous and likes a Challenge and an Adventure. Both astronauts have Moon either in Leo or Virgo. Leo for keeping things upbeat and Virgo for doing a good job.

Douglas H. Wheelock has a natal Grand Earth Trine between Jupiter 4 Capricorn Rx, Mercury-Venus 2-3 Taurus and Pluto 4 Virgo. Today's Pluto is conjunct his natal Jupiter and so it and the rest of the transiting planets in the t-square are testing how much such and good luck Wheelock can have.

Sun 16 Taurus; Moon Leo or Virgo; NN 23 Virgo Rx

Tracy Caldwell Dyson has an interesting transit right now. She is not only going through her Uranus Opposition (innovation, space travel, electrical, gadgets) but she is going through a Jupiter Opposition. That is, Dyson has a natal conjunction of Jupiter-Uranus at beginning degrees Libra which is opposed right now by the transiting Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries. Since a person going through this aspect would feel like he is walking around in anti-gravity boots anyway it's pretty awesome that this astronaut is doing it for realsies. I used to have a great roommate named Tracy who shares Dyson's birthday.

Tracy Caldwell Dyson
Aug. 14, 1969 Arcadia, CA

Sun 22 Leo; Moon Leo or Virgo; NN 23 Pisces Rx.

Dyson has a natal conjunction of Pluto 24 Virgo to South Node 23 Virgo which is reflected in today's aspect.

Her progressed Sun, Mercury and Uranus are also at the beginning of Libra and connected into the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction. That sure does add to the imagery of electrical tape and monkey wrenches. This squares progressed Mars at 3 Capricorn. She has a lot of progressed planets which have just changed signs so she's definitely entering a new phase of life.

The Cancer Moon today is passing over Dyson's natal Venus-Lilith conjunction. Doug Wheelock has a conjunction of Sun and Venus at 4 degrees Cancer. This hooks into the t-square transit and the Moon as well. They are covering each others' backs right now. They are probably talking about how much they miss real food and their families. Of course, that's where the Moon is according to us earthlings. I have no idea where it is from the vantage point of the space station.

Return Missions From Outer Space

Earthling Space Agencies have brought back materials to earth from Outer Space. We now have Rocks from the Moon, Ice and Crap from the tail of a comet and God only knows what from an Asteroid. There was a 4th source of Outer Space Materials, but, sorry, I can't remember what it was.

I thought I'd list the missions here in order to have it for later. It seems that one ought to be able to look at these charts in order to try to understand if there would be consequences for Earthlings from bringing these rocks, particles, atoms back down to earth. I have no doubt that the aliens are already here. But, then again, I always thought that maybe my parents were aliens (Aquarius MC).

Hammered in Space

This is just so "Lost in Spacey." Another Girl Astronaut Story. I swear, it's tough enough trying to shop at the Home Despot without every Girl Astronaut who walks down the plank losing her tool bag out in space. On the other hand, it's kinda cool to think that an alien might find it. Or it might come flying back into orbit and hit someone on the head 5,000 years from now. It's a $100,000 NASA toolbag. Just try to match that, Gucci. Maybe Paris Hilton will be cryogenically preserved just so she can be around to catch the thing.

Anyway, a glue gun exploded yesterday while Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper was doing maintenance on the Space Station and as she was wiping the goo off she lost a grip on her $100,000 tool bag and it wafted away. Hope they got it on video and post it on YouTube. This is just way cool. Much better story than how Ford, GM and Chrysler can't get it together to make a car that people want to buy so they're asking the Taxpayers to Bail them out too. Keep losing your NASA Gucci's, Heidemarie. (Why's your name so damn Long?) How many more days is Pluto going to be in Sagittarius? Gotta grab these stories while they still show up.

Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper
b. Feb. 7, 1963 St. Paul, MN

Sun 19 Aquarius; Moon in Scorpio?; NN 30 Cancer

So Heidemarie has a big t-square in her chart that's all to blame. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Her Aquarius Sun is conjunct Saturn and is opposing Mars in Leo Rx. This is squared by apex Neptune in Scorpio. Since Mars is Rx she was born during one of those Mars Synodic Cycles that's so much fun to think about but virtually impossible to interpret due to lack of data. At any rate, natal Mars might even be in conjunction with natal Moon. I wonder if Mars-Moon aspects indicate exloding handbags?

Right now, transiting Neptune is at 22 Aquarius, t Chiron is at 17 Aquarius, and the North Node is at 13 Aquarius aspecting this t-square. That's as ooopsey daisy an aspect as they get. Plus, transiting Jupiter is 3 degrees approaching her natal Mercury at 24 Capricorn. Mercury probably rules tool bags; it rules all things having to do with manual dexterity at any rate. Mars probably rules tools. Natal Mercury is unaspected in her chart so any transit to it is going to be exceptional. Jupiter is eternally clumsy, but almost always lands on its feet.

Once Heidemarie returns to earth she'll be having a Nodal opposition so she'll be feeling a little confused for a short while longer.
