According to Rex Bills Rulership Book, Uranus rules bombs along with Mars as a sub-ruler.  Mars rules weaponry like guns and knives.  Bombs are more complicated and require an Outer Planet influence I guess.  Uranus rules all group activities, including getting killed with others I guess.  Mars rules ignitions and sparks and Uranus rules unexpected and shocking events along with innovative flair. So, put them together and you go kaboom.

Asiri's chart has a sextile between these planets with a 2 second orb.  That's pretty precise.  Sextiles show talent in a natal chart.  These two planets have no other major aspects to other planets so they work as an island influence in the chart.

Mars is at 4 Libra Rx and Uranus is at 4 Sagittarius Rx.  Those Rx's show that one needs to look at his progressions to watch for banner years in this dude's life.  When they come out of progression, o boy.  No, make that O "Little Boy."

To add to this insulated influence in al-Asiri's chart, the world's best bomb maker has an Aries Sun.  So al-asiri's Sun disposits to his Mars.  That's a lot of fire energy.  He was also born during a conjunction of Saturn to Pluto in Libra which shows an innate sense of what is real and what is not.  It's great for scientific creations.  It's a connection that is associated with Loss and feelings of ruthlessness which can branch out in ugly ways that are not fun to party with later in life.  Saturn-Pluto is extremely hard working and determined.  Both planets don't give up a fight easily and they are reserved so one may not always know what one is dealing with.  They like to make plans and carry them out.  They like to manage and advise others.  Mars is merely trigger happy.  Saturn and Pluto want to make you remember what they came here for.  Means business, figuratively and literally.

Al-Asiri is born with Mars at 4 Libra Retrograde.  This means that Mars is in the sign of its Fall, Mars is in the sign which opposes it's natural rulership.  Mars strikes out, Venus strikes back, usually with a desire for Peace or at least non-violence. They rule both ends of the Relationship Pole in the chart. They both want to Act because they both rule Cardinal signs.  Cardinal Signs like to start things.  If you build bombs you can destroy things rather than finish them if they start to annoy you. The Mars Rx shows al-Asiri and everyone else born within a couple of months of his birthday have a special experience in trying to resolve Mars in Libra issues. That's some heavy need to balance what one wants rather than what others want. There are zillions of ways they can do this, don't have to become bomb builders.  They might have bad tempers or attract people who do.  The progressed Mars in the U.S. chart is in this same Retrograde position right now.

In al-Asiri's progressed chart, Mars Stationed Direct back in 2005-6 at 1 Libra.  That's not only an Aries Point but it has been getting hits from the recent big outer planet t-square between Saturn-Uranus-Pluto.He's also also just completed his first Saturn Return, that's a time for making major decisions about one's role in the world.  He become top bomb builder.  As I said his natal Saturn is Rx in Libra in conjunction with Pluto Rx in Libra and widely in a stellium with Jupiter in Scorpio.  All this opposes his natal Aries Sun.

His attitude changed greatly when his brother died from a suicide bombing in 2009.  This is a few years after his prog. Mars SD at 1 Libra (Aries Point, comes before public).  Natal Mercury (sibling) is 6 Taurus.  Prog. Mercury in 2009 was at 14 Gemini which is that weird Gemini-Sagittarius pole connected with Arab terrorism (placement of the Saturn-Pluto opposition during 9/11).  He possibly has a natal trine with Moon and Saturn in Aquarius and Libra.  Moon and Saturn represent Family connections, Homeland, patriotism, tradition.  Progressed Mercury would have filled in a Grand Trine figure which would perhaps make him feel more motivated.  I'm trying to figure out what will show motivation in a chart.  A Grand Trine can seal off an energy (my trans of what I think Noel Tyl says) and can be connected to feeling like one has found one's calling in life.  It might be like a Vortex influence which sucks one down eventually into fanaticism.  Al-Asiri's Natal North Node is in Cancer so this shows that he would be drawn in this direction.  Too bad he doesn't use his natural talents in directing energy to develop a water purification process instead which is what the world needs in order to get along right now.  Somebody send him a book about Viktor Schauberger or something.

His Aries Sun, which as I said disposits to Mars is strongly placed in his natal chart.  It is opposing Saturn 19 Libra Rx, Pluto 26 Libra Rx, and Jupiter 7 Scorpio Rx.  Oppositions show relationships and balancing acts and a person who will engage with others.  In this case, al-Asiri feels naturally connected to the politics of his time as shown through Sun opposing Jupiter and Saturn which represent political and social affairs.  Pluto opposite Sun will show power plays with others. 

By Solar Arc this opposition is hitting his natal Uranus in Sagittarius.  With the upcoming 2.5 year long mutual reception of Saturn and Pluto along with the transiting Uranus-Pluto square I hope we don't see al-Asiri's finest hour.  Currently he's having his Saturn Return which is opposing natal Sun and in conjunction with n.Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter.  His prog. Sun is at 29 Taurus and will be opposing natal Uranus 4 Sagittarius Rx over the next 5 or 6 years.

Dakota Meyer at the Bridge

Back in college I decided to major in Classics for awhile. Problem with that was comprehension. The Greeks and the Romans were smart folks and I didn't really have all the brain power necessary to absorb all that creativity. From all the boring penguin editions that I read from I can only remember two anecdotes.

Herodotus was actually fun (at times) even when he was talking about Generals of Armies and things. He invented the idea of History by writing down all the mythology and stories about the culture in which he lived. There was no pressure to be accurate at that point and sometimes he is called the Father of Lies for his tendency to include fabrications and fantastic stories that nobody believes.

Among the most boring historian on earth had to have been Livy who lived in ancient Rome. He was dry and long-winded and probably pretty accurate in his tellings. Livy wrote many many many many Penguin Editions. After a while I realized that it was a waste of time for me to read him because I could not remember anything he wrote. Except for one story -- that of Horatio at the Bridge.

At this point, it's about 30 years later so I've got all the details mixed up about Horatio. What I do remember is that the story of Horatio was so out of character for Livy and seemed so unreal that we all just guffawed at it in class. Where the hell did Livy get off including this unbelievable story in his assemblage of mass and accurate detail?

From what I remember Horatio was a Roman warrior who was defending a bridge, a key transport route down to Rome. He spent hours maybe days fending off a bunch of grinning blue eyed Aryans who I seem to remember had just crossed the Alps on the backs of Elephants. Hmm, maybe the elephants were part of another story about Persians, sorry. Anyway, the Aryans were big and brash, you know, basic German tourists, but in this case they were out to sack Rome so probably carrying spears and rocks. By himself Horatio killed them all, however many there were. We all laughed about how Livy must have been on acid that day. Or that he was channeling Hercules who was a myth and didn't exist. Who could believe this story?

So, where was I? Oh yeah. The War in Afghanistan.

On Thursday President Obama awarded the highest medal possible to an ex-Marine named Dakota Meyer. Dakota defied his superiors' orders because his entire group of friends were caught in battle and were calling for help. The superiors denied the help.

Certain unnamed soldiers in command will supposedly lose their rankings/jobs for incompetence demonstrated that day. Meyer and another soldier, Juan Rodriguez-Chavez, should not even have had to do what they did if their superiors had been competent. The names of these guys are left out of the articles, but I think it's important because it looks to me as if there were issues with giving proper attention to where it is due. There were mix-ups. Mercury was stationing Retrograde.

While receiving his medal Meyer said that it seems unbelievable to receive so much attention for what had been the worst day of his life. Would be interesting to see his entire chart but if the date provided on Wikipedia is true then I could see how Meyer's life could unfold in this way. I actually remember the Greek concept of kalon-kakon, situations which is both a Blessing and a curse occurring at the same time.

I don't have Rodriquez-Chavez' birthday so I'm not going to discuss his astrology. He was given the second highest award that the Navy honors its heroes along with another officer, Ademola Fabayo. I've included a link to an interview with Fabayo the day after the battle down below which explains what happened from his point of view. He provides the timing for the battle which is important astrologically.

First thing astrologers will look at here is that Mercury was stationing Retrograde at 7 Libra in the 1st house right as this battle began. Mercury rules the Virgo rising. Mercury rules communications. Retrogrades indicate a time when Mercury's motion is seen from earth as moving backwards so in traditional astrology communications are said to break down more than usual. What it means is that Mercury spends an extra long time in one sign and there's no feeling of moving forward and smoothly.

There was a Sun-Saturn conjunction almost exactly on the Ascendant. Saturn rules cautionary actions, or stoppages altogether. Saturn is so careful that often he won't help. He also rules authority and bosses.

Saturn was opposing Uranus 26 Pisces which was in the 7th House of partnerships. Pluto wasn't quite within orb of squaring either one of them but he was also angular in H4 and on the very important Aries Point at 1 Capricorn.

The outer planet t-square aspect of these 3 planets has been going in and out of orb for the last two years-plus. It is considered a very stressful, life changing configuration. Lots of divorces, lots of market crashes, lots of earthquakes and floods (especially with Uranus and Neptune where they are). Lots of the types of changes that people don't handle very well.

This t-square describes the event pretty well. Saturn represents authority. Sun represents Military. Along with the Sun represents authority in the military. Placed in Virgo there might not be great leadership. Pluto in the 4th House represents spying, espionage, betrayal, death, an environment like quicksand. Mars in Cancer during the fight just enhances this. Pluto in Saturn's sign right on the Aries point shows that there might be some destruction of military command. And then there's Uranus the Revolutionary. He's in the 7th House getting ready to defy orders in order to save his friends. The 7th House is also significant in diplomacy matters and in dealing with open enemies.

Mercury rules this chart through the Virgo Rising. Although Virgo doesn't like to lead he can often do just as much by working through the details. In this case, the soldiers had the mentality to discern that they would have to deal with the situation on their own because the leadership wasn't there. They just kept charging and charging and charging. When one jeep broke they brought in another one.

When I read the first article about Dakota Meyer I just wanted to know what planets he's got in Scorpio. The Marines are all required to remember the birthdate of their corps which is November 10. It just seemed significant since the Marines are considered the hard core fighters who go in at the front lines. Scorpios don't necessarily like a crisis but they tend to be good at dealing with them because of their staying power.

It's pretty interesting that the only other Marine to receive this medal had the same birthday as the Marines. He was Jason Lee Dunham, born Nov. 10, 1981. He died on Apr. 22, 2004, 8 days after diving in to stick his helmet on top of a grenade to save his friends.

The story about how Dakota Meyer worked as the gunner while Rodriquez-Chavez drove the jeep is extraordinary, right out of Livy. These two ran 5 trips over a 6 hour period. Meyer jumped out of the jeep to drag the wounded back while the Taliban were shooting at them. Rodriquez-Garcia was driving the vehicle around to shield the wounded. As the gunner, Meyer was completely exposed. He killed 8 Taliban fighters, evacuated 12 wounded, provided cover for 24 Marines and soldiers (those number might not be exactly accurate).

It looks as if Meyer is mostly ruled by Water with a Cancer Sun and a North Node (Life Path) in Pisces and probably a Scorpio Moon. Personally I'm amazed that with all that water he performed so well out in the middle of the desert. Maybe he really has a Fire Sagittarius Moon. The water does give him great psychic abilities to see through a situation. Maybe it made him more invisible to the enemy. Ernest Hemingway was a Cancer Sun so one sort of gets that sense in Dakota Meyer as well.

Meyer's chart is amazing to look at in connection with this event.

For one, he has Mars in conjunction with his North Node at 22 and 17 Pisces respectively. Mars is the Warrior of Astrology and the North Node represents the true direction of one's life path. They are combined here in Pisces which isn't often considered the boldest aspect for a soldier by typical Western Military standards. But Pisces has other methods. He is probably very useful in dealing with smoke screens, deception and people who rely on terrorism in order to get ahead. Mars represents speed, impulse, rashness. This squares his natal Venus Rx and Mercury in Gemini. This combines his mental and physical coordination with his basic loyalties to his comrades in a challenging but energized way.

Transiting Uranus (rebellion, groups, friends, shock, surprise, sudden events) is within conjunction with Meyer's natal Mars by 4 degrees on the day of the fight. Uranus rules one's friends and community who he was fighting (Mars) for. Also, Meyer's progressed Mars is at 2 Aries on this day. This is directly squaring not only the big outer planet t-square of the day but is also squaring a huge opposition from Sun-Chiron to SAturn-Uranus-Neptune that Meyer has in his chart right on the Aries POints (coming before the public).

Transiting Mars was also involved at 8 Cancer. So it was right over Meyer's natal Sun and opposing his natal Neptune 9 Capricorn. Pluto, the higher octave of Mars, was at 1 Capricorn opposing Mars and in conjunction with his natal Saturn-Uranus-Neptune.

His natal Sun is in conjunction with Chiron, 6 and 1 Cancer respectively, and are opposing Saturn-Uranus who are in conjunction on the same degree at 29 Sagittarius. Therefore, his natal chart, the transiting chart, and his progressed chart all meld together on the strongest points of the astrological wheel. Interesting that the conjunction of Saturn-Uranus plays out during the transiting opposition of these same planets, but this mirroring seems to happen quite a bit. Everyone born around the time that Meyer was born will have this conjunction but their inner planets might not trigger an event quite as significant.

Pluto (ruler of the Marines) is also important to look at here. Pluto is considered the higher octave of Mars and so is considered sort of a spiritual warrior. He represents the use of human will and instinct.

Meyer's natal chart has Pluto strong in its own sign of rulership at 10 Scorpio. Because Pluto spends so long in one sign this is true for everyone of his generation. Pluto is strong in his chart because it trines his natal Sun. His Sun also disposits to Pluto. And Pluto is the Lead Planet of a locomotive chart shape. There's so much more to look at here. I'm simply amazed and shocked by this story. I hope he goes on to study great ideas in College and to further learn how to use his great talents. President Obama shared a beer with him on the White House lawn and gave him some good advice to just take it slow. After the Trojan War Odysseus spent 20 years getting lost trying to make his way back home. Interesting how one must go on a second journey in order to unwind from the first journey.

What's a Libra/Aries SuperMoon like?

People who have an emphasis on Cardinal Signs might be heavily affected by today's SuperMoon. I'm in that crowd. Yayyy!

The SuperMoon occurred last night, Apr. 17, 2011 at around 9:48 pm ET, 6:48 PST. The Sun 28 Aries was opposing Moon 28 Libra over the H1/H7 angles with Libra Rising conjunct Saturn.

In the news, Nicholas Cage had a meltdown over the week-end. His chart is hooked in to this moon very heavily. His natal Moon is right at 27 Libra in his natal 10th House. Natally it squares Mars at 26 Capricorn from his 1st house. Difficult Moon-Mars aspects can go off at a moment's notice as it is. But this was a Lunar Return and Full Moon and SuperMoon for him. Ouch. Supposedly he had a brain drain and blanked out where he lived. I'm sort of relieved to hear that because my Sun is at 26 Cancer and I had called the doctor last week because I've been having blank outs as well. Mars and Aries are related to the brain and Moon is related to the glands and emotional memories. And, with Capricorn/Saturn involved there will be control issues.

This is the first year that I'm asking for an extension on filing taxes. Just couldn't get around to it. To be honest, this is connected to the gang stalking stuff. I've been eating at places and have apparently been ingesting ammonia and other cleaning solutions. It appears that certain Berkeley activists (Libra Moon, for sure) are now joining the gang stalking phenomena. Maybe they are the ones who started it. This is a real eye opener. Left wing activists hate everything that they are fighting for. All those employees at the local Target who I used to feel sorry for because they walk around with their walkie talkies blasting? It's because they like it that way. Makes them feel important. And the ones in the medical professions apparently use the access they have to your health information in order to gossip about you and publicly humiliate you. Immigrants who come in to the country via legally means tend to know what a law is. The rest? It's touch or go. And the Berkeley activists? They have all those boring MidWest childhoods to make up for.

And, like clockwork, Nolle's connections of Supermoons to extreme Weather conditions has hit parts of the country with killer Tornadoes and flooding. On Thursday, the Eastern part of Oklahoma and south of Kansas was hit. On Friday, Missippippi and Alabama were hit. On Saturday North Carolina was hit. The newspaper says that 243 reports of tornadoes in 13 states. 11 people are known to have been killed and 50 injured. I send my condolences to the victims. I would probably throw up on you, though, if I did it in person. So, Thank God for the Internet, right?

I don't really get this. Maybe someday I'll read the Wikipedia article all the way through. But, ever since those illegal aliens got caught last week driving over the Border dressed up like Marines and they got caught because they couldn't tell the Guard at the Border what sign, er, what Birth date the Marine Corps is, something which apparently all Marines learn first off and remember forever probably because the Marines is a Scorpio and Scorpios always believe in Astrology, even Carl Sagan, but only because he's dead and I can put words into his mouth. Where was I with that sentence? Oh, Fark it, I'm not in the mood. There are freaky parasites who read this blog and then borrow what I say on it, especially the ones who like freaky ooga booga graphics, Secret Society, Vietnam vet gang stalkers doing their rape thing. Polish President Airplane Crash / Katyn Forest Massacre

On April 10 an unbelievable loss of Polish Government Officials. The President of Poland's airplane crashed while trying to land in dense fog at an airport in Smolensk, Russia. All people on board are pronounced dead. The Officials were arriving in Russia to memorialize a tragic event from World War II known as the Katyn Forest Massacre. Around 22,000 lives were lost during this event which occurred mostly in April, 1940 near the vicinity of Katyn. The purpose was to execute all members of the Polish Officer Corps. So, of course, there are major conspiracy theories going on. Poland has only been a Democracy for a short while.

For some reason I haven't been able to figure out from news reports what time the airplane crashed. So I'm not going to look at that right now. Anyways, it seems that there are many great accounts written by astrologers.

I did find some really eerie astrobabble that could add a psychic element to the massacre. Hope that investigations show that this was simply an accident due to what looks like pilot error. I mean, that's a drag for the pilot but the political strife that could follow would be devastating.

Kaczynski has a natal Sun-Uranus conjunction in his first House. Uranus is right on the first degree of Cancer, an Aries Point. 1st House rules the physical body and Sun-Uranus shows sudden, shocking events. I'm not going into long description of what all that means. Thing is, this is filling in the empty leg of the long going current transit of the t-square between Saturn-Uranus and Pluto. As a matter of fact, Pluto, planet of death is exactly conjunct the 8th House cusp in this chart and opposing Sun-Uranus in 1st house of physical body.

Death is shown by the water houses in one way or another and they are all afflicted here. In K's chart, natal Pluto is conjunct the IC from H4. The extra long current Mars transit has had Mars transiting back and forth over K's natal IC. Mars rules K's other house of death, House 12. He had Mars in this house natally conjunct Mercury, ruler of his 1st house of physical body. This is squaring natal Saturn, ruler of H8, major house of death. K's Solar Arc progressions also show a conjunction to the degree of Neptune and Pluto. One is natal and the other SA, can't remember which is which.

I suspect that House 12 rules ghosts. I know that Neptune and Pluto do, and that's where I'm going now.

(Oh, before that I gotta mention Jupiter since Jupiter rules airplanes. Jupiter is placed in the other sign that rules aviation and in the 9th House. It is trining the Mercury-Mars conjunction.)

If I'm understanding Wiki correctly the Katyn Forest Massacre occurred mainly in April, 1940. It began on either Apr. 3 or 4 and continued for 28 days. But, I also read that the Russians continued on through May because they took off work to celebrate May Day.

The document that outlines the ideas behind the Katyn Massacre was dated Mar. 5, 1940. It was apparently signed afterwards, but this date progresses into some interesting stuff.

Mercury was extra potent because on the Aries Point and trining the two outer planets that are most difficult to deal with on earthly level. Mercury trine Pluto 1 Leo and opposing Neptune 25 Virgo.

This Mercury is also set off heavily by the current outer planet t-square which is forming off and on currently and be at the Aries Points this Summer.

Okay, I'm creeped out. I'm also looking at too many charts at once. Hope all info is correct. If we ever get a solid time for the crash it will be interesting to see how any of these point connect up. The reason for the crash is said to be dense fog (Moon in Pisces conjunct Neptune-Chiron in Aquarius). Also pilot error. Maybe this is a case similar to a couple of the runaway Toyota crashes. People stepped on the gas instead of the brake and thought they had been victimized by the brake-accelerator problems that have plagued Toyota Priuses.

Oh, P.S. the airplane was a Cancer and Pluto would be opposing it's Sun and conjunct its natal Uranus-Neptune in Capricorn. Natal Mars is at 21 Aries apex of a t-square to a Jupiter-Saturn opposition. Not the greatest chart for an airplane, imo.

Bad Shot - U.S. Missile Test Failure

Vandenberg Airforce Base has reported that a target practice missile that was launched this afternoon from Central California and missed its target in the Pacific Ocean.

The boo boo occurred Sunday afternoon and I can't tell if that's Marshall Islands' time or California time. Completely different charts.

Anyway, for the record, if anyone wants to look at a chart of a screw-up which is probably a good thing to study, this is the information I've got so far. I suppose the Sun-Mars Rx is a big issue in a chart that describes a missile intercept. A failed attempt might be indicated by Saturn, planet of over-achievement on the IC or bottom of the chart, especially since it's squaring Pluto on the Descendant.

A Sun-Mars Rx opposition might show a problem with the trigger but they say the reason for the mistake is said to be a problem with the radar. The Sun is conjunct Lilith. Don't know what that means really.

No mention of where the two missiles landed which really creeps me out.

Uranus is very close to the Midheaven in the launch time for the Marshall Islands, with Pluto on the Descendant and Saturn down in the 4th House. The planets are moved forward into the mutable houses if the Chart is used for the California time zone. Saturn is conjunct the IC in this chart.

Mercury rules the Marshall Island Launch Chart. Mercury is conjunct NN in Capricorn (H7). This brings in the Saturnian element again. In this chart the Moon is opposing Chiron-Neptune. Chiron, of course, can indicate all kinds of mistakes and things that don't work out.

Moon rules the Vandenberg Airforce Base launch chart. She is opposing Jupiter in Pisces for the California time zone chart.

Bowe Bergdahl, Come Home!

The Middle Eastern Terrorists decided to give the U.S. a couple of Christmas presents. At least, their style of presents which may be lost on Santa Claus, let alone Jesus or Buddha, or dare I say, Allah. The Terrorists may have sent a Nigerian man to blow up a airplane in Detroit. Other passengers somehow foiled the "bomb," it just let off some sort of a flash and a fart, and it sort of sounds like the terrorist simply managed to burn his balls off. The Sun was conjunct Venus and Pluto, so what did he expect? It's either that, or the clap with those aspects working together.

The Taliban also released a video of the only known U.S. soldier currently held in captivity. Bowe Bergdahl was captured last June, around June 30. The Taliban put out it first video of him of him on July 18 or 19. The Taliban was asking for his release in exchange for some of their men. Yesterday, Dec. 25, they put out another video of Bergdahl. No one knows if Bergdahl is still alive or not. I just saw the movie "Brothers" and so am completely wasted by this story. I'm sure that the Taliban is playing this up big time.

I send my best wishes to Bowe's family and friends and hope that he will be released and returned to them.

Natally Bergdahl has a real soldier's chart in many ways. it's really going through a whole lot of stressors right now. Perhaps the Army should avoid sending kids into combat who have very stressful planetary aspects on the Aries Points right now. They are being hit a little too hard by the current big t-square transit. Even if they were home working in Middle Management somewhere they would probably end up with PTSD.

Bowe's Sun is in the sign ruled by Mars, the Warrior. And his Moon is in Scorpio, ruled by Pluto which rules the higher octave versions of War. His Moon may be conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. This means that emotionally he is very self-contained and has a lot of holding power. His South Node is in Scorpio as well and is in conjunction with natal Pluto. This can show a lot of survival skills and staying power. Of course, it can also a darker situation.

Bergdahl's chart right now is set up for a difficult time. Natally he has a square between Aries Sun and Mars conjunct Neptune in Capricorn. This can show an impulsive personality that gets caught (Capricorn), which is quite the opposite of what all that Moon/Pluto says about his emotional reserves. This can also show a problem with addiction. Some of the reports surrounding his disappearance say that he was drunk. The whole disappearance story is so typical of Neptune. Nobody really will say when and where he disappeared, nobody will really say what he was doing either. Neptune rules Prisons and prisoners.

Mars the signature of the Warrior/Soldier is on a key spot in Capricorn on the Aries Point at 1 Capricorn in Bergdahl's chart. Right now it is being hit by the transiting Pluto-Saturn-Uranus t-square. That's a huge amount of stress and can show a lot of violence and ruthless behavior. Solar Arc Saturn is also hitting natal Mars which really compounds things further (3 Capricorn). Remember, this is all squaring Bergdahl's natal Sun in Aries.

There's even another equally difficult aspect happening with regards to this Sun square to Mars-Neptune shown in the Solar Arc Directions. His chart is really getting slugged. Right now Bergdahl's progressed Sun is conjunct his natal North Node within a degree. Because Solar Arc Progressions progress at the same rate as the Sun this means that Neptune and Mars are squaring his Nodal Axis as well (prisoner of War).

I don't really feel there is much hope that this man could possibly still be alive but do see some Jupiter influences coming up so maybe Luck is on his side, maybe there's an opportunity for release.

First off, Bergdahl was just entering into his 2d Jupiter Return when he was captured. Natal Jupiter is in Pisces. One can only hope that this shows the "Angel on the shoulder" side of that aspect and not the "scoring for good Afghani opium" side which probably isn't favored much by the Taliban, let alone anyone else. His SA Jupiter is at 2 Aries right now. It's just past an Aries Point. From my understanding, Aries Points just show "coming before the public" and "major turning points" so all the Aries Point activity in Bergdahl's chart are working out no matter what.

Another Jupiter aspect: Berdahl's Solar Pluto is on the last degree of Scorpio and will enter into freedom loving Sagittarius (ruled by Jupiter) next year.

Treason and Traitors

For my research on Children of Divorce I'm curious about what the charts of Traitors look like. Kids growing up in Divorce are often accused of being traitors by parents who are trying to get information about the other parent. Don't know if the charts of political traitors are the same thing as child traitors (alleged traitors, of course). I assume that adults might have more of a choice in the matter, or at least they ought to think that they do.

Wikipedia defines a Traitor as a person who exhibits "disloyality to one's sovereign or nation" and if there's one thing for sure, parents going through divorce act more like nations at war than like loving parents. The kids are treated like possessions, or slaves, rather than objects of affection, pawns used for bartering for money and time over. Growth phases have to be silenced.

I looked at 3 charts of famous traitors/double agents, and noticed that out of the 3, 2 had natal Venus Rx. Didn't have to go far with a Wiki search to see if Astrologers think that Venus Rx is related to Traitors. Bernadette Brady has written a really great article connecting Venus Rx cycles with Political Betrayal. She even mentions that Benedict Arnold did his Switcharoo from U.S. to Englist loyalties during a Venus Rx. Good American that I am with lousy understanding of U.S. History Arnold's chart was the first that came to mind. Turns out he was born with natal Venus at 13 Capricorn Retrograde. Born with a Retrograde and jumping ship during a Retrograde.

Arnold also had a Gemini North Node. Gemini is a sign one would expect to be associated with betrayal and treason because of its dual action interests. Perhaps also Pisces and Sagittarius.

Out of the three charts, the ones with Venus Rx also had a Gemini North Node. Back in the 1960s and 70s a journalist for Time magazine had been guilty of spying for both the CIA and the Communist party of Vietnam. His name was Pham Xuan An. He confessed in the 1980s and just recently passed away in 2006.

Motive must be very important in determining a Traitor and I wonder if there isn't a slight distinction between what is a Traitor and what is a Spy. These two men were living in war zones so their loyalties were much more stressed. Libra is a very political sign. Double Agent Robert Hanssen who worked for both the FBI and for Russia for twenty years says that his main motive was money. His chart has a conjunction of Pluto to the North Node in Leo which indicates this. Also he would have been enticed by the excitement. Pluto definitely rules spies and greed and power hunger. It would be very good at treason, Benedict Arnold had a conjunction of Sun to Pluto and Mercury.

There would be a lot more to look at. All of these charts show a lot of charm, like Jupiter-Neptune-Uranus contacts and Fire, etc. And certainly 3 charts only gives enough information for making assumptions which aren't probably the best basis for accusation of such awful crimes. But, at any rate, that's today's blog.

Vanderberg Air Force launched a Minuteman nuclear missile this morning successfully hitting its target 4,200 away in Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Isn't that where Amelia Earhart went down? No wonder why we've never been able to find her plane. Poor wildlife living around that spot, is all I can say.

The Minteman missiles were developed in the early 1960s. They are the only land based missiles that the U.S. employs. There's a stockpile of the Minuteman IIIs out in the middle of the country somewhere and the missiles are supposedly launched on a regular basis.

What a great day for a nuclear missile launch! That's all I've got to say. The land based Launch is in an Earth sign with ruler Venus conjunct the Ascendant and also conjunct Mars, the trigger planet. There were protests against the launch by people who know better, forgot what the group's name is.

The ASC-Venus-Mars conjunction is squared by the conjunction of Jupiter-Neptune and Chiron which is right on Kim Jong-Il's Butt. You think having a laser pointer aimed at your face is annoying, try this. Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron are placed in the 10th house of this chart, Authority, Government, Mean People Who Screw Up in spite of their High IQ because they are Selfish.

These rockets deliver bombs which are created to split apart and spread the nuclear fall out over a larger area than if just aiming for one target. World's Most Powerful Laser, Groovy Baby.

Yesterday the U.S. dedicated the world's most powerful Laser Beam Maker at the Lawrence Livermore Labs in Livermore, California. Turns out the United States has got some reserve Mojo despite the Recession. As a matter of fact, I think this means we have too much Mojo. If we ever use this thing for Defense purposes all the little boys from Sea to Shining Sea who are unfortunate enough to survive will grow up with 3000 testicles each and a penis the length of the Empire State Building. Shag that.

The Lawrence Livermore Laser, called "National Ignition Facility" or NIF, has the power of 192 normal laser beams and makes a Hydrogen Bomb look more like a mere firecracker, maybe just even sparklers. Thing that's really scary is that it is set to be fully operational in 18 months in 2010. Now I call that a Pluto-Saturn-Uranus t-square on the Aries Points, Baby.

Words like "Ignition" and "Target" really come into focus with strong Aries emphasis. Some of that good old Brassy U.S. Pluck? Don't think the rest of the World might like it but I could be wrong....

Not sure exactly what time the certification happened. So, don't have an exact placement for the Moon, but the Sun is conjunct Venus to the degree. Venus in Aries here is Retrograde and in Detriment by sign (opposite sign that she naturally rules). Venus rules Diplomacy and when Diplomacy fails we pull in the big guns and just take aim.

The Sun-Venus conjunction is further stressed by aspect. It and maybe the Moon is squaring Pluto. For the Ceremony, we've got Mercury Retrograde in Taurus and squaring the conjunction of Jupiter-Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius which features all 3 planets on the same degree. I don't know what that means with regards to pushing buttons, maybe a little slow and stupid on the trigger, but the news media (Mercury) is being very quiet about this facility. I guess if you're announcing how you're more powerful than anyone else in the World maybe you don't want to boast.

The Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron conjunction was in effect at the certification signing in March as well but yesterday both Neptune and Chiron were stationing. Neptune stationing Rx and Chiron stationing Direct. And both planets and Chiron were on the same degree. Yesterday, the people cutting the ribbon were thinking more in terms of Scientific discoveries. Kim Jong Il was blasting something like the 7th Nuclear warhead in 2 weeks over in Northern Korea.

This is just like the time in 5th grade when me and Mary MacKenzie mixed Lavoris with Baking Soda and Nitric Acid over a hot plate until it exploded over an entire corner of the classroom. We just had to keep adding ingredients until it exploded, it was our only purpose. Spent about 3 hours mopping the goop up and I've never wanted to see another explosion for as long as I live.

Uranus in the ceremony chart is still unaspected in Pisces and is further enhanced as a singleton in Water. Schwarzenegger was quoting movie lines from Terminator while cutting the yellow ribbon. That's the Neptunian movie element. Neptune is the sign of self undoing. I heard someone, a Neptunian obviously, also say that it represents hidden resources. That's good for Team U.S. North Korea has certainly been sharing their hidden resources.

So this Uranus-Neptune mutual reception. Collective Unconscious? Forced Collective? How about Collective Unconscious obliterated. That's Pluto on the Aries Point shooting its wad.

Let me state in finality that all may not be lost just because I think it is. Lawrence Livermore Labs is set on a couple of earthquake fault lines. It is probably about 50 or 60 miles East of the San Andreas Fault Line. So it would be kind of cool if the Laser were set on motion detectors so that if an earthquake starts it will zap the fault line and merely singe the beard hairs off the hippies in Berkeley while nary a tipsy chandelier swaying in the land. In other words, maybe they can aim this thing into the ground at the right time and way lay an earthquake, or at least send the Shock waves over to North Korea. Maybe this thing could be useful in other decent ways. Who knows, it may be so powerful it can blast Dr. Evil and his Hairless Cat up into space once the Statue of Liberty is up to her waist in the Hudson from Global Warming. Maybe Hollywood can rent it out to etch-a-sketch Angelina Jolie's lips into the Moon. This is just so Outer Planety, my little Cancerian Sun just can't cope. I think I said before that I'm bad in a crisis. I get laughing attacks. Can't we just get Kim Jong Il a haircut? I mean, that's all that guy really needs anyway.

The Montauk Monsters or "Why We Do What We Do"

Mars is squaring my Moon right now so I'm coughing up emotional hairballs. Here's a topic that's so gicky I've decided not to write about it but I've done a little research on dates for anyone with a hankering for the disgusting stuff.

On May 5 another Montauk Monster washed up on the beach in New York. A previous one washed up last Summer in July. These things look like Mad Scientist creations put together with one appendage from everything you can find in a barnyard. The one in July had a very unhappy expression on its face. Maybe it was just decaying weird, but I swear to God it had a huge beak on a pig's body and I think it had some fins and a tail and I hate to think what it's gender would be.

So, there are all kinds of conspiracy theories about what these things are. Is a Conspiracy Theory a Conspiracy Theory when even the most conservative people you talk to agree that the Conspiracy Theory is probably true? The Government has a laboratory on Plum Island which is I guess is in Massachusetts or Long Island or on its own little float. This place, called the Plum Island Laboratory, was set up in the 1950s by the USDA and an ex-Nazi Veterinarian, Dr. Erich Traub, who was into hoof and mouth disease in cows (and hopefully not Jews). Who knows? Maybe this is where Wonder Bread was born. Plum Island was taken over by Homeland Security around 2005. This place experiments on all kinds of animal diseases and has been blamed by some for the outbreaks of Lyme Disease and West Nile Virus and all kinds of Bio-Warfare types of problems.

Plum Island was opened about the same time that Area 51 was starting to be used for research into Spy warfare stuff. That's one reason for the conspiracy. One of the researchers involved with its beginnings was a Nazi veterinarian, Dr. Erich Traub, who specialized in animal disease and was maybe a part of "Project Paperclip", a U.S. program to hire Nazi specialists to "Plum" their brains, I suppose. There are other reasons for the conspiracy theories, such as an ex-employee who called the place "a biological 3-mile island."

There is a book written about Plum Island which has recently been taken over from the USDA by Homeland Security. Written by Michael Christopher Carroll, called Lab 257: The Disturbing Story of the Government's Secret Plum Island Germ Laboratory. I am suffering from all kinds of Contagion Parnoia right now. I stopped following Salmonella Attacks because they were popping up right and left across the country, too many to keep this Gemini Riser's attention. Turns out that the disease has blossomed in the food industry lately. We can't say why. So then there's the Swine Flu. And whatever happened to the TB Man? Was he real? And then there's the legion of nurses who volunteered to help the Octo Mom but who had TB. I don't think we need Conspiracy Theories. People are just idiots.

Lyme Disease goes back to a town in Connecticutt with that name. It was a disease known in Europe and was recognized in its current state in 1975.

Jamie Leigh Jones - Gang Rape Victim

Today there is news in the media about an American Soldier from Texas who raped/murdered a 14-year old Iraqi girl and her relatives. He has been found guilty. He was considered the "ring leader" of a group of 4 (I think it was four, maybe I'm wrong) soldiers who plotted to rape the girl. This soldier then killed the entire family and he and one of the guys raped the girl, shot her multiple times and then tried to burn her body.

As horrendous as this crime is it reminds me of a case I also read a while back which is being handled on a much quieter basis by both the Government and the Media. A Texas woman, employed as a contractor employee by Halliburton, was gang-raped by her co-workers on the fourth day of her employment while over in Iraq. For some reason, Americans don't seem to care as much as seeking Justice for their own women.

Jamie Leigh Jones was sent to Iraq where she was given living quarters in a male barracks. 4 days into the job the guys handed her a drink. She remembers having a couple of sips. When she woke up she was bloodied between the legs and covered with bruises. One of the guys admitted to her that she had been gang raped. I suppose as a way of further getting her to behave, Jones was then held in a storage box for a day until she was able to get a cell phone from one of her captors and she could call her father. She was taken for medical attention and her rape was documented in a rape kit. The rape kit then was taken away by Halliburton security and disappeared for a couple of years.

The Government ought to publicly be trying Halliburton in this case along with the eleven or so other females who have since come forward about similar treatment. I think it's just really creepy that the soldier who raped the Iraqi is being put on show while the contractor monsters are walking around free.

There was a Sun-Saturn conjunction in Leo (abuse of authority, being too full of ones self, arrogance, control, domination) that was squaring a Moon-Mars conjunction in Taurus (emotional violence). A Sun-Saturn conjunction in Leo is a classic aspect for something having to do with Government and Military as Sun and Saturn represent leadership. A Moon-Mars combination can always indicate emotional volatility.

This square expands out into a Thor's Hammer configuration with apex Pluto in Sagittarius pointing to the square from Sun-Saturn to Mars (and possibly Moon)(Sagittarius = Overseas, and Pluto = rape, and probably co-rules Gangs). At this link (http://www.evolvingdoor.ca/glossary/glossary_pq.htm) Thor's Hammer is described as being "a little bit like holding a hand grenade."

Sure would be nice to know Jones' birth info to see if her Pluto and Nodal Axis are in aspect to that fixed sign square.

I don't have a time for the attack, I sort of figure from the amount of injuries that Jones' suffered that it went on for a very long time. She was drugged the whole time and doesn't remember any of it. That's shown perfectly in the chart by a Mercury Retrograde (thinking/communication mix-ups) opposing Neptune (forgetfulness, confusion, lost). This case, in addition to referring to a reprehensible crime, is also a blatant cover-up story which is also indicative of the MercRx-Neptune opposition. There can be no criminal trial without needed information from the rape kit which has been retrieved but with photos and Doctor's notes missing. Interesting to see how this aspect plays out on so many different levels here.

Just for kickers, I flashed through a couple of the shorter term Mercury progressions to get an estimated time of when they went direct and wondered if these would indicate major events in either remembering the incident or getting the media attention for it. Progressed Mercury in all cases stations direct while conjunct the spot where the Sun-Saturn conjunction in Leo (Government) is in the event chart between 2 and 6 degrees Leo. Mercury's Station Point is at 9 Leo. They represent different progression cycles of differing speeds.

(Robert Blaschke says in his book on Progressions that the Tertiary Progression affects a person on an Emotional Level. The Minor Progression (fastest moving) affects a person on a Mental Level. And the Secondary Progression affects them on a Physical Level. I talked about these cycles briefly in a previous blog but one should read Blaschke's book if interested in knowing more.)

The Minor Progressed Mercury stationed direct around May, 2006. The Tertiary Progressed Mercury stationed direct around Jan, 2007. Jones seems to have been going through the Legal System since that date. The rape kit was recovered (from Halliburtin?) in May, 2007 minus key elements which would make a criminal trial possible.

Jones was 19 when the incident occurred. Since that's a Nodal Return perhaps she can see this incident as a part of her destiny. She was actually past her Nodal Return but I've found that by looking at the closest Return that a person is going through when a major event happens usually gives a good idea of where to look in their chart first. At any rate, she is handling the aftermath of the event with great courage. She is going through surgeries to repair damage that was done to her breasts (the rapists ruptured her transplants and ripped her muscle). She has set up a foundation to help other victims of crime from overseas.

The Ephemeris for 1985 shows that Jones' North Node would be in Taurus. During that year Pluto was in Scorpio and if Jones was born at the end of the year her Pluto would be in conjunction with her South Node, an indicator for a crisis of this type. Either way one can see the intense life struggle that belongs to a Taurus-Scorpio Nodal Axis. Scorpio South Node and Pluto in Scorpio both indicate intensive psychotherapy and surgery. This is speculation so probably shouldn't even be mentioned.

Hopefully the Taurus North Node will cash in nicely for Jones financially. That's no reparation for what was done to her, of course, and I personally don't feel safe walking around in the world with these creepy Halliburton employees on the loose.

I don't know think that the signs of Taurus and Scorpio experience much Justice in life. The South Node is in Libra in the event chart. That, of course, rules Justice. In this case Jupiter is in conjunction with it and, since Jupiter rules Luck and Lawyers perhaps the Courts will step in and finally do their job. (Halliburton is trying to handle this situation through arbitration).

The Effect of Aries on the Other Cardinal Signs

(I admit readily that I'm unqualified to comment on most of the topics on which I'm blogging except for maybe a slightly less shallow knowledge of the Arts than what most people have. Just I'm looking at the Astrology in as simple of methods as I can when I see that it all lines up. My Father the Architect always said that the basis of great design is always KISS "Keep It Simple Stupid." Turns out he was a pretty good architect so I respect his advise. His architecture got really weird during the divorce and he burned out from trying to work in an impossible business but those are other stories).

There's a USAToday article in today's paper called "Studies shed light on brain injuries from blasts: Problems with memory and balance seen." It's written by Gregg Zoroya.

Scientists are developing greater understanding of Brain Injuries from the injured military personel in Iraq. I'm not sure why they are suddenly focusing on this particular injury during this particular War. Perhaps Mars, which rules War, Brain Injuries, Accidents, Explosions, was connected with the 8th House of Research in the chart for the War. I suppose there are a few charts that can be looked at, the Declaration which sprang from Cheney's and Rumsfeld's heads (Mars), or the time of the first firing. For sure, this research is a good thing. The young men who are mostly suffering from the injuries are represented by Mars which rules young men, especially ones who go to War.

What the article points out that is super interesting is that a Blast to the Brain causes problems that are specifically related to the other Cardinal Signs. Two can be seen in the article's title as Memory is related to Cancer and Balance is related to Libra. Further on in the article Capricorn's reaction is included in this neat little paragraph (Capricorn = Problem Solving, mostly in decision making ways).

"An estmiated 45,000 to 90,000 victims, however, suffer persistent symptoms such as memory loss, lack of balance and problem-solving difficulties."

I wonder if one would want to try to fix the area of brain that's most related to Mars so that the other 4 corners aren't so stressed. Mars rules Aggression and anger, of course, but also, Action without Forethought, self-assertion, and firey innocent vitality of wanting to charge in and do stuff in a direct way.

Thich Nhat Hanh has a Birthday

Relief! One of the two Birth Dates that I've always wanted to know but couldn't find were that of Vietnamese Buddhist Monk Thich Nhat Hanh and Permaculture's Bill Mollison. Still don't have Mollison's birth date but Astrotheme is now providing a date for Thich Nhat Hanh. When asked about the circumstances of Hanh's birth the only information I could ever find was a comment he said about his birthplace. In the West people of my generation only know Vietnam as either Northern or Southern. Hanh said that he was born in Central Vietnam. He may have been speaking literally, but I remember at the time commenting that he must be a Libra ... and ....

Hanh was a major spokesman in the West about the Vietnam War. He proceeded to help his countrymen as only a Monk, and a Libra, can do. One can see the mark of having to live "In Interesting Times" in Hanh's chart in his natal Sun square to Cancer North-Pluto conjunction. A Cancer North Node would indicate a destiny linked to "Homeland." Pluto tends to bring Crises and also hopefully Determination to overcome Crises. The Diplomatic and Peace Loving Libra Sun is strongly engaged with these two through a square aspect. Hanh's Libra character is further emphasized by wide conjunction to Venus in Libra which she rules.

I am sort of finding (and would like to hear back from anyone else who happens to notice this or knows where I can research more about it) that people with Sun-Venus conjunctions tend to do very significant things during the times that they have their first Sun-Venus returns at Ages 8 and 16 which continue to influence the rest of their lives. Hanh became a Monk when he was 16. I suppose that's not an odd age for becoming a Monk but this is such an apppriate occupation for a Sun-Venus in Libra square Nodes person to do which might account for his extra talents.

Hanh has only recently been allowed to return to Vietnam in 2005. Transiting Saturn was in Cancer at that point passing over his natal NN-Pluto. This was squared by transiting NN in Aries. The Nodal Axis was squaring his natal Nodal Axis that year and was in conjunction/opposition with natal Sun-Venus.

Mars in Hanh's chart is in the other sign that's ruled by Venus at 19 Taurus. It was Retrograde when he was born. It changed out of Rx during 1983-4. Would be interesting to see if significant changes occurred for him at this point.

I suspect with his great talents to communicate with people from all cultures that Hanh has a Sagittarius Moon but have certainly been surprised to find that I'm wrong about Moon signs before. Currently he is going through both a Jupiter in Aquarius Return and a Uranus in Pisces Return. The Outer Planets in his chart are in strong aspect with each other which I think would show great humanitarianism as well as organizational ability and depth of soul. Jupiter 18 Aquarius is opposing Neptune in Leo. This is a very uplifting combination but is tied into useful purposes in a wide t-square with Saturn 24 Scorpio as apex. This Saturn is trining Uranus in Pisces at one side and Pluto in Cancer at the other side (Uranus and Pluto are too far out of orb to be a trine). It is also opposing Mars Rx. Mars-Saturn aspects always seems to show up in charts these days in people who feel instinctively that they must psychically deal with breaking through Walls in their lives.

If you've ever listened to Hanh you know that he has a very calm serene voice and speaks with great clarity. This, of course, is something which I attribute to the Libra influence and was interested to find that his Mercury is at 2 Scorpio in aspect to Neptune (sextile) and Uranus (Quintile thingee).
