Pluto-NN in Capricorn - Turning Away from Imploding Bridges

Now this is what I'm talking about.

The conjunction of Pluto to the North Node in Capricorn has been one spooky build from an astro point of view. I mean, how can that combo possibly be good?

The conjunction is exact right now. And so ... A live news cast of a bridge being blown up in Chicago became such a boring wait (capricorn is slow, very slow) that the show switched to the weather caster (light hearted Uranus-Neptune mutual reception) for just a second. And during that second the bridge imploded. And the newscasters missed it! And because this happened in Chicawgah, they went ape face. They were throwing and chewing up and spitting out the papers their news cast was written on. Awesome!

And all kinds of stuff has surfaced this week. On a literal scale, Natalee Holloway's jaw (bones - Capricorn) washed up on the beach (from depth of ocean - Pluto) so Joren Van de Dukandavitch-whatsisname is going to go through a few more years of Beth Holloway.

What else? All kinds of things. Obama came back from a big tour of Asia and had to immediately leave for Europe because the Europeans were whining that we don't love them anymore. Do they really care? Oh yeah, Ireland and Portugal went belly up. The U.S. Banks are soon to follow. Lots of news casts of Big Ben so that has an upside until the electricity gets disconnected.

And as long as we can't pay for anything, California's so far in debt, Dianne Feinstein finagled California Law to continue to offer illegal aliens free college tuition. If only they would ban them from majoring in psychology and make them study something constructive. Ah well, this way they get to learn what's wrong with the minds of White People while ignoring their own problems. (What problems?)

So who has the highest drop out rate from College?

Turns out, kids from Divorce have a much higher drop out rate from College, assuming they go in the first place, but they're not eligible for squat, unless, of course, they're Mexican. California doesn't even keep statistics on the numbers of kids from Divorce, neither does the CDC. Studies have shown that divorce is known to be more destructive psychologically than death of a parent but for some reason this is ignored because it hurts the parents' feelings. I know how to fix this problem. I learned it from the Mexicans. We just have to start planting bed bugs in the Mexican communities. They seem to understand revenge better than any of the other emotions.

While we're distorting statistics and talking about numbers, it turns out that China rerouted 15 percent of all internet traffic on a day back in April for 18 minutes. This info was just published this week. That's no doubt the last we'll hear of this. I'll post on this later, it's fascinating.

And it brings us to the subject of Censorship. And spying. And abuse of authority. And creepy old cultures that can't change over to Mama's way of thinkin'. That's the one that we're going to be dealing with now.

And this brings us to the Tea Party. They've been quiet this week. That's how we know we're really screwed. When people have stopped talking. Oh yeah, Sarah Palin did announce that she's considering running for President. That's not Pluto. That's Aquarius. Actually, that's not astrology, that's, that's just plain old funny. Oh yeah, this post was originally about imploding bridges. So much infrastructure, so little time.

Where was Pluto when the Christians burned down Rome? There must have been about 5 Pluto's in the sky. Tarnas' book is in storage at all the most inappropriate times. And I just read that Scientists were able to measure Eris on Nov. 5 or 6. She's the planet that got Pluto kicked out of the Planetosphere (or at least he had to go underground, old issues with Ceres). The Scientists thought that Eris was bigger than Pluto. Turns out that's not true. Eris is just really far away and hard to measure. The Scientists are just irrational wind bags who might, just might, i'm not speakin in absolutes here because i tend to wonder what the hell astrology is all about as well, but the scientists might just open their little minds a tiny wee bit more and focus their big bad hubble on just a teensy bit of what we're babbling about. I mean, human intuition is a pretty miraculous thing, and science is just in its infancy, but, hey, yeah, this is all about the best part of Pluto in Capricorn.

Autumn Equinox 2010, Full Moon, Leads into Pluto-NN conjunction end of November

The Autumn Equinox is here. It's connected with an approaching Full Moon which becomes Full about 6-7 hours later. This shows heightened awareness of others because, for one, it's a Libra Sun and for two it's a Full Moon. So people will be aware of others and will be very sensitive and feeling picked on at the same time. Plus, there's a Saturn-Pluto square connected with the Nodal Axis so people really will be your enemies. Be careful where you park the car tonight. Keep washing your hands. Don't let the kids talk to strangers. I'd recommend just staying home and avoiding strangers, actually. Anyone who approaches you right now just wants your money and will be a lousy Mother to your unborn children.

The Sun and Moon are very strong in this chart conjunct Saturn and Jupiter-Uranus respectively, so they hook into the big Outer Planet t-square. You might finally be able to pop that proverbial zit but I have to tell you that this one will leave a huge scar if you do. There could be a real harmonious blending of political differences between people at this point if only the chart didn't show a Grand Square. So, don't know how that will turn out. Squares require using extra energy to face the challenge which they represent.

Mercury rules the chart through Virgo Rising and is placed in the 4th House along with the Sun 1 Libra. Virgo rules Work, Public Health, Criticisms, Nagging, Analysis. I always think that Buddhism is Virgonian presented in its highest form and I've really been wondering where all the damn Buddhists are right about now. They were so pleasant. Am certainly tired of the Muslims. Maybe it was just that picture on Time Magazine showing the beautiful Arab woman whose nose had been chopped off by her In-Laws for some dumb ass reason. And then right after the Imam in New York setting up shop too close to Ground Zero while saying that Muslims aren't all extremists. Religious fervor, anyone? Just concentrate on the Statue of Liberty and hopefully she'll still be standing by next Spring.

Charts here are pulled up for Washington DC so I suppose this one describes what will happen for the United States, and maybe a couple of our finest Politicians. Boy, this isn't a good time to decide to be a hooker, that's for sure. With Mars conjunct Venus in Scorpio sextiling Pluto and the North Node and all that Mercury there's no way you could have sex with anyone and not come down with the clap. These lines run through both the West Coast and India. Hmmm, what could that mean? With Moon-Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Pisces up in the 10th there's going to be some weird shit going on during the elections. Civil Rights issues, hopefully no Martyrs, definitely corruption, promises, pay-offs. Mercury wants you to think of everyone as your sister or your brother or your aunt. Some sort of relative who you would die for but don't necessarily live with because that would be torture.

So, first order of priorities for this Equinox, wear a condom. Or at least invest in a Condom company. If you're not having sex with people it's just because they are perverts and are spying on you instead.

The Sun in H4 here is conjunct Saturn over the H5 cusp so there is emphasis on laying plans, looking for leadership, settling in. The Real Estate Market is bottoming out? maybe. Mercury is chart ruler and is in the 4th House unaspected to other planets so everyone's going to be calling everyone else a bigot. Problem is, with Pluto-NN in the 7th House everyone really is a bigot, especially the ones who call the other ones bigot. Either way, something connecting contracts and writings with home and real estate. There might also be problems with communicable diseases, Virgo rules House 4 as well. I know that the Whooping cough has hit California, which is especially dangerous for babies. Be sure to get a booster shot as the stuff stays in your system and is contagious for a really long time after symptoms. Adults don't necessarily know that they've got it. At any rate, if somebody invites you over for dinner, ask if you can clean their dishes beforehand. No wait, that's rude. Well, is it?

The Full Moon which comes about 6 hours after the Equinox shows Mercury conjunct the Ascendant, still very strong. The Sun is in the 1st House opposing Moon-Jupiter-Uranus in the 7th House. This Full Moon is right on the Aries Points so Libra-Aries issues will come to the fore. Relationship shit. They rule the resource houses in both Equinox and Full Moon charts.

So the Full Moon occurs a few hours later. This is also an Aries Pointy situation so new beginnings are definitely settling in and coming out into the public view. Hopefully, they're not bad beginnings but the growing process is a selfish thing so there will be some problems.

This continues the Health stuff with Neptune-Chiron unaspected in the 6th House. Pluto-NN in the 4th House. Everyone's quarantined at home. Difficult to contain or diagnose?

So, have you ever been in that really obnoxious spot where a Saturnian person is telling you that your life is fucked up and you're being a pain in the ass? And you get all defensive and feel bad that you have a problem. And then afterwards you think about the Capricorn/Saturn person's life and realize that the Capricorn is more fucked up than you are and is basically just taking the blame out on you? Well, here we go. This rides lasts through the end of the year, just in time for the Capricorn's next birthday.

I've been saying that the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto t-square would bring issues regarding infrastructure. Turns out everything's falling apart. Well, not everything. And things fall apart no matter what. They just seem to really stand out when you've been expecting it to happen for the last 2 years or so.

Kind of interesting how the things that are falling apart are connected with things that are creating the most pollution on earth. That old Butter Commercial saying "You can't fool Mother Nature" keeps popping into my head these days. If any planet reminds me of that saying it would probably be Pluto. Pluto is so deeply connected with the deep underworkings of nature. Capricorn doesn't hurt, of course, being an Earth Sign, and also having the difficult pictogram of a Goat who tries to climb to the very peak of earth's mountains but is stuck with a fish's tail which hooks him into the deepest parts of the waters. That's the Capricorn guilt thing. The higher you go the farther you have to fall unless you give everything away. Other people aren't concerned with these problems, they don't get caught, but the Capricorns get busted if they don't follow the script.

So, there are so many infrastructure collapses lately this is just really dazzling. I keep saying that we really need to advance into the Jetson's age. Just leave the infrastructure behind and let everyone levitate. Of course, I have no idea how we're going to do that, but might as well dream. Right? The asphalt, the railroads, the exhaust engines. Good bye. Wouldn't it be nice?

Funny how with Pluto conjunct NN in Capricorn all the spillage and sewage is just fighting back at us. We've lost control of how we handle our toxics and wastes. Once Saturn and Jupiter move on there will just be this long Uranus-Pluto square passing back and forth. I doubt that's good for the arts but it sure will provide incentive for innovation and design. And Jupiter and Saturn will be doing a Grand Triny thing so there will be some sort of social awareness of sorts. As I'm not a real advocate for mass mentality and peer pressure situations I don't know how that will turn out. Sort of sterile innovation and design but some people like that. And it might actually be clean if we keep the Virgos employed by the droves to do a perfect job (so the Virgos brag, at least)

The International Space Station is having some emergency problems. Where's Will Robinson's robot right about now? One of their air conditioning units blew a fuse late SAturday. Love how these news reports don't mention the actual date so you have to fumble back and forth with a calendar and sort of guess. I suppose NASA will eventually have an actual time for the circuit breaker trip (so Mars-Saturn-Uranus). Anyway, remember the connections between Space stuff and Pluto-Nodes. Learning Curve on the Ecliptic wrote a great piece about the Challenger Disaster. And that one Astronaut early on saw aliens on one space flight. They'll be ok but they're having a stressful week. There are articles on the Internet discussing how the Space Shuttle blast offs and air conditioning are major polluters of the ozone.

Pisces was Rising and the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries was in the first house. Suppose that conjunction and the Pisces Rising could indicate Rubber. This was opposing the Mars-Saturn conjunction in H7 and squaring Pluto-NN up in the 10th. So the big t-square was on the angles. Chart ruler Neptune was in the 12th House and was stand out as a singleton in Air. But the big singleton was the Sun 29 Cancer in H5. The Sun was unaspected by major aspect to other planets in both house placement (succedent) and element (Water). It was in a Grand Trine with the Moon 3 Sagittarius and the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction.

In Iowa much greater damage was done at Lake Delhi. This was caused by 10" of rain and a breaching of the dam walls. Kind of interesting that the chart shows an absence of planets in Water signs. The Dam was built 1922-29 so it was going through a Uranus Return.

This chart is sort of an upside down version of the Tempe Arizona Chart with Virgo Rising and with the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the Ascendant. Jupiter-Uranus is in the 7th and is squaring Pluto-NN and even Moon in Capricorn down in the 4th House (Moon is widely past conjunction with Pluto but I'm not sure if this is the actual time of the break).

Interesting that there was a witness who saw this whole thing from 150 feet away. His name is Fred DeShane (52 years old?).



So here we go. China said that it had contained its oil spill by July 26 but China is a Libra and paints a rosy picture so now we've got some new bulletins saying that they're having problems too. So, the U.S. and China are both Cardinal Sun Signs and now we get to see what happens to Cardinal Sun Signs during a Pluto transit (no one's going to kiss these ough-ie's).

The Pluto-NN conjunction is right on the Ascendant.

The Sun is one degree away from the spot where the Moon was (23 Cancer) during the Deepwater Horizon Spill.

Don't know if this is significant but this points to the two Solar Eclipses for this year. The Jan. 15 Solar Eclipse (Annular) had a conjunction of Sun-Moon at 26 Cancer. The July 11 Solar Eclipse (Total) had a Sun-Moon Eclipse at 20 Cancer.

Mercury for the China Oil Spill (called the Xingang Port Oil Spill) is also conjunct within a few degrees the spot where Mars was in Leo during the Deepwater Horizon (Gulf) Oil Spill.

I can't get the image of the employees covered in tar out of my head. It's heroic but I wish it hadn't happened.

Of course, the Saturn-Uranus/Jupiter-Pluto t-square is going to be involved here. This shows breakdowns in infrastructure. Uranus 1 Aries is conjunct Jupiter 4 Aries. Interesting how it doesn't seem to matter that their exit from Pisces, which rules Oil and Oceans, doesn't seem to make much difference.

Perhaps a big part of these Oil Spills is the Pluto-NN conjunction in Capricorn (peak of civilization, beginnings of the Fall, structures). In the Xingang Port Oil Spill Pluto is conjunct the NN and they are hovering right over the Ascendant. Pluto rules both of the recent Solar Return Charts that I mentioned.

Also, Pisces, sign which rules Oil and Gas is enclosed in Houses 2 and 8 in this chart. Neptune is still in Aquarius (manmade inventions) but it is in conjunction with Chiron (things man can not help) on the first degree of Pisces. Lilith is also there. Don't know how to interpret that other than to say that Lilith is always "there." Kind of interesting to note Venus's connection in both Deepwater Horizon Chart and Xingang Port Oil Spill chart. Venus is squaring Lilith-Neptune-Chiron in the Gulf Oil Spill. And she's opposing that same combination in the Chinese Chart.

The Moon in this chart is conjunct Saturn the chart ruler and Mars. They are in the 8th House. Saturn is on the same degree spot (30 Virgo) in both charts, but he's Rx in the first chart.

Pluto and UFOs

As Pluto is now within orb of conjunction with the North Node I'm remembering an old post connecting this combination with space missions. I remember that Edgar Mitchell, one of the astronauts saw some UFOs from space and was transformed. He has since founded an institute that studies unexplained phenomena.

So, today's newspaper has an article about how difficult the Plutonium pollution at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington will be to clean up. The problem is 3 times worse than previously reported.

So, I wonder if the UFOs were built using Plutonium. The Hanford Nuclear Reservation is in Washington. There were other sides in Idaho, the Savannah River Site near Aiken, South Carolina. And probably Los Alamos was a site considering this whole project was started as part of the Manhattan Project. I ripped part of the article off and lost some of the information for the sites. Maybe they are still available in the article I linked to.

Scientists find link between Parkfield Earthquake Series and Sun/Moon Alignment

Yeah, baby, the Scientists are coming round to our way of thinking way more than I could ever have imagined. An article published in Science apparently says that the alignment of the Sun and Moon causes the water underground to rise and fall just the way it affects the tides. That's my take on it and I could easily have misunderstood what I was reading. Article from Sfgate.com is here. (and down below if I didn't type the link in right).

Since the strongest effects were seen when the pull of the moon and the sun was aligned with the direction of the fault's break (Los Angeles toward San Francisco in the case of the San Andreas Fault), the researchers reasoned that water trapped deep underground was the likely explanation for the tremors, lubricating the rock to make it move easier.

The tremors so far have only been found in a relatively small number of fault zones, suggesting that underground water isn't found everywhere.

If the tremors have an effect on the earthquake zone closer to the surface, it's hard to find, Bürgmann said.

They are finding this is only true in the case of the Parkfield Earthquakes which are a series of earthquakes that occurs very roughly on a 20 year cycle in Parkfield, California. I wonder if they are finding this is associated more with times of expansion (Jupiter) or contraction (SAturn).

I've written about this series before and found that Jupiter seems to be a constant in these earthquakes. As a matter of fact I was just thinking about this last night. Jupiter is in Cardinal Signs in 100 percent of the Parkfield Earthquakes. That's a pretty substantial finding. I mean it's not great. It doesn't give an exact date or anything. But, I suspect the reason for that is that Jupiter is the big communicator link between Man and Nature. Just listen to double Sagg Beethoven's music and you'll understand what I mean immediately. At any rate, Jupiter seems to be a very prominent presence in the earthquakes that humans study. It was on the Descendant during the Earthquake that was successfully predicted back in the 1970s in China. There was that earthquake in Italy just this past year which was successfully predicted. Nobody believed the Scientist who predicted it anyway. Can't remember, but I don't think I found a big Jupiter link in that one. Should go back and check.

But, as far as Parkfield Earthquakes go. It doesn't seem timewise like this series is due, but it sure does look like we're moving into scary astrology. Jupiter will be moving into Pisces on Jan. 17-18, 2010. Pisces isn't a Cardinal Sign and usually Jupiter spends about a year in one sign, but this time it's moving pretty fast and first hits Aries in June, 2010. Jupiter will move into Aries then which is a Cardinal Sign. This would be an optimal time for a big earthquake somewhere because Jupiter will be in conjunction with Uranus and in the sign ruled by Mars. These two will transit together forward in Aries for a couple of degrees and then backward together into Pisces. It's totally freaky. Uranus rules shock, sudden events, shaking, rattling, rolling, things that can't be predicted. To make sure that nothing good happens, except maybe an alien invasion, Pluto will be in conjunction with the North Node in Capricorn and Saturn will be squaring/opposing. This is the big t-square in the sky. My Federal Reserve Chairman Boyfriend will finally admit that the economy is fucked. Somebody needs to put a suicide watch out on Geitner. This was one hell of a career move he made.

I'm personally ready for the poles of the earth to shift myself. Jupiter will move very fast this coming Spring and will enter Aries on June 5-6. That's at 1 Aries which is an Aries Point. The Moon will hit them as well and they will be squaring Pluto.

The Upcoming Eclipses in June-July 2010 are looking really bad. The Partial Lunar Eclipse on June 26, 2010 will feature a Grand Square of the Full Moon with a conjunction of Moon to Pluto and the North Node in Capricorn opposing Sun-Mercury in Cancer. This squares Jupiter-Uranus in Aries opposing Saturn at 30 Virgo. Bad Sign that Saturn is in an Earth Sign within a degree of the Aries Point. Mars will be at 11 Virgo trining Moon-NN. No squares for Mars. He may let loose unchecked?

I seem to remember that I was fearing January, 2011 for a big earthquake. Can't remember exactly why I was putting it off until that moment. Maybe I was expecting some huge cybercrime thing early on followed by an errant H-Bomb dropping. Then the earth would just say Fuck It and take us all down in one big gulp. Since the Poles are melting it sure does look like they're going to start flailing.

The Eclipse energy is really going to hammer this Grand Square in because this Lunar Eclipse will be followed by a Total Solar Eclipse (New Moon) in July (July 11, 2010, 2:40 pm EST, New York, NY) which also features a Grand Square.

And then this set will be followed by a Total Lunar Eclipse on (Dec. 21, 2010 3:13 am EST New York, NY). Jupiter and Uranus will have retrograded back into Pisces at this point but will still be squaring the Full Moon/Eclipse. They will be traveling for a long time in pretty tight conjunction. This chart still has the Pluto conjunction to the North Node which is always bad news for absolutely everything. And Mars will be in conjunction. This will be a wet one,. maybe tsunami/floods?. Neptune-Chiron is trining the Full Moon.

I've said before that often Earthquakes seem to happen in the spaces between Eclipse sets. That sets up October for something bad as far as Northern California/Oregon coast goes because Libra/Aries are typically earthquake season for these areas. Cancer/Capricorn tend to be earthquake season for Southern California.

Mars' placement is sort of curious. You expect him to be strongly involved but he's sort of hovering out of the way from the t-square. Mars like his indepedence so that might be a good thing for him, pacifatory-if-you-will. Either that or he is given too much free reign and just has non-stops tantrums in Leo for the next 6 months. He is doing one of his long Rx's through Leo. He will station direct around Mar 10 at 1 Leo. He'll be opposing the Moon so watch your heart on that date is you've got Sun at mid degrees Fixed. Mars goes into Virgo beginning of June, I think it was the 6th. That's an earth sign. That's going to be one bad transit for me, personally, that's all I can say. So I'll stop here.

Oh, well, Mars just SRx on Dec. 21 at 20 Leo. He will return to that particular spot again on May 17-18-19. We'll see if that means anything. On July 30, 2010, Mars will be in conjunction with Saturn at 1 Libra and opposing the Moon-Pluto-NN and squaring Jupiter-Uranus. That's ugly. The Sun will be at 17 Leo which is close to the Mars Station Point.

Thich Nhat Hanh has a Birthday

Relief! One of the two Birth Dates that I've always wanted to know but couldn't find were that of Vietnamese Buddhist Monk Thich Nhat Hanh and Permaculture's Bill Mollison. Still don't have Mollison's birth date but Astrotheme is now providing a date for Thich Nhat Hanh. When asked about the circumstances of Hanh's birth the only information I could ever find was a comment he said about his birthplace. In the West people of my generation only know Vietnam as either Northern or Southern. Hanh said that he was born in Central Vietnam. He may have been speaking literally, but I remember at the time commenting that he must be a Libra ... and ....

Hanh was a major spokesman in the West about the Vietnam War. He proceeded to help his countrymen as only a Monk, and a Libra, can do. One can see the mark of having to live "In Interesting Times" in Hanh's chart in his natal Sun square to Cancer North-Pluto conjunction. A Cancer North Node would indicate a destiny linked to "Homeland." Pluto tends to bring Crises and also hopefully Determination to overcome Crises. The Diplomatic and Peace Loving Libra Sun is strongly engaged with these two through a square aspect. Hanh's Libra character is further emphasized by wide conjunction to Venus in Libra which she rules.

I am sort of finding (and would like to hear back from anyone else who happens to notice this or knows where I can research more about it) that people with Sun-Venus conjunctions tend to do very significant things during the times that they have their first Sun-Venus returns at Ages 8 and 16 which continue to influence the rest of their lives. Hanh became a Monk when he was 16. I suppose that's not an odd age for becoming a Monk but this is such an apppriate occupation for a Sun-Venus in Libra square Nodes person to do which might account for his extra talents.

Hanh has only recently been allowed to return to Vietnam in 2005. Transiting Saturn was in Cancer at that point passing over his natal NN-Pluto. This was squared by transiting NN in Aries. The Nodal Axis was squaring his natal Nodal Axis that year and was in conjunction/opposition with natal Sun-Venus.

Mars in Hanh's chart is in the other sign that's ruled by Venus at 19 Taurus. It was Retrograde when he was born. It changed out of Rx during 1983-4. Would be interesting to see if significant changes occurred for him at this point.

I suspect with his great talents to communicate with people from all cultures that Hanh has a Sagittarius Moon but have certainly been surprised to find that I'm wrong about Moon signs before. Currently he is going through both a Jupiter in Aquarius Return and a Uranus in Pisces Return. The Outer Planets in his chart are in strong aspect with each other which I think would show great humanitarianism as well as organizational ability and depth of soul. Jupiter 18 Aquarius is opposing Neptune in Leo. This is a very uplifting combination but is tied into useful purposes in a wide t-square with Saturn 24 Scorpio as apex. This Saturn is trining Uranus in Pisces at one side and Pluto in Cancer at the other side (Uranus and Pluto are too far out of orb to be a trine). It is also opposing Mars Rx. Mars-Saturn aspects always seems to show up in charts these days in people who feel instinctively that they must psychically deal with breaking through Walls in their lives.

If you've ever listened to Hanh you know that he has a very calm serene voice and speaks with great clarity. This, of course, is something which I attribute to the Libra influence and was interested to find that his Mercury is at 2 Scorpio in aspect to Neptune (sextile) and Uranus (Quintile thingee).

Saturn-Uranus and Robots

I don't have any real reasoning for this but I've been thinking that one manifestation of the Saturn-Uranus opposition, or of any Saturn-Uranus aspect would be advancements in the Creation of Robots. As Saturn and Uranus are always caught in the jealous Father mythology from Greece I tend to worry that this might turn out to be a difficult energy. Something involving Robots taking over the Earth, the Frankenstein story (should check that astrology, hmm). It could indicate Computer Warfare. It could also bring on some positive, humanitarian changes and big business possibilities. For one, a big need for Security in Computer software. On another level, we are very aware of how Slavery has become a bigger problem worldwide than it has ever been. Robots can become Slaves. Boom time in the Marketplace. Of course, in the United States this means that we have to educate our humans so that they don't run around acting like Robots. And we are a complacent set of Cancerians sometimes. And just like people I suppose we can't really trust the robots. And many people don't like the idea of robots no matter what and I tend to be more in that crowd than out of it but considering some of the encounters I've had over the last week with people I think I might be more open to it at this point. One must always account for the fact that once a person becomes an employee his IQ not to mention his dignity and sense of responsibility drops 9,000 points and he does really stupid, destructive things.

This article from Yahoo talks about what looks like a postive manifestation: Robotic Fish that the English have created which will be released into the Oceans in order to track Pollution.

They are due to be released in about 18 months' time. Robots can do what humans can't do. This is perhaps the wisest use for them. The release of the $29,000 Fish Robots will be in September, 2010 when the Saturn-Uranus opposition has just finished. However, Pluto will be conjunct the North Node in Capricorn and will still be squaring both Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Pisces. That's not generally a really great aspect except for the extremely evolved.

Jupiter will be in conjunction with Uranus in Pisces with an opposition from the Sun in Virgo during that month. This would actually be a positive manifestation. Pisces is the Oceans and Virgo is Public Sanitation. Pluto, by the way, I think is a ruler of Pollution and due to its tendency to Distill everything it touches could also be a major "cleaner."

SOS and "The Bystander Effect"

Last month another one of these weird events happened where someone was in trouble and a bunch of people were witnessing the event and did nothing to help. In this particular case, a 19 year old boy killed himself while broadcasting his death via a Webcam. 181 viewers watched the event and did nothing for him until it was too late. Many of the witnesses were actually goading the teenager, Abraham Biggs, Jr., on; perhaps thinking that he was playing a joke.

There was an interview on NPR radio last Friday (I think) about this event in which the topic of "The Bystander Effect" was brought up. This case was related to a famous murder which occurred in New York City in 1964 in which a woman, Kitty Genovese, was brutally murdered and then raped outside of her home while her neighbors did nothing to check on her screams for help. Because of the dates I was wondering if this type of event is connected with the Saturn-Uranus opposition in Virgo-Pisces in some way. These are the signs that I think of anyway when issues of "Volunteerism" and "Bystander" come up.

Right now Saturn is in Virgo and Uranus is in Pisces. In 1964 at the time of Kitty Genovese's death, Uranus was in Virgo and Saturn was in Aquarius, not yet in Pisces. These aren't leadership signs known for their valour. They don't rush in to hurt people and they also don't rush in to help either. They survive by staying out of the limelight. On the other hand, they have to deal with this as a weakness and we all must deal with awareness of this frailty of human nature when situations like this occur. These types of crimes happen every day but perhaps come to the fore and are noticed when the Saturn-Uranus oppositions occur in Virgo-Pisces. Oppositions talk about dealing with relationships, "the opposite or other".

The 1964 murder-rape is connected with living in an apathetic urban environment. The 2008 suicide of Abraham Biggs, Jr. is connected with the Apathetic and Faceless Internet environment. (The first Internet Suicide was actually committed in 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. This was the death of Brandon Vedas who was also goaded on by Internet viewers.) These events seem to lead up to the Saturn-Uranus oppositions. And by the time of the actual Virgo-Pisces opposition of the planets occurs the topic is a major problem which people are ready to face. Questions of issues pertaining to "The Bystander Effect" and "Civil Courage" and "Volunteer Dilemma" come to the forefront. The tendency of "Apathy" is probably also. It's a distant emotional state that expresses the cursed side of living within in a large community of people/strangers. Uranus brings emotional detachment. Saturn always brings difficult Lessons with regards to whatever he touches.

I'm going to post the crime information and Kitty Genovese' birth date because it is given on Wikipedia. There are some interesting coincidences in the charts. Venus, surprisingly, is involved. She is unaspected in both event charts and passing through the 3d House (of neighbors, community). She is also in the same sign with Jupiter (Jupiter rules the 9th House opposite the 3d house so maybe connected?). Venus was out of bounds during Abraham Bigg's death as well, another emphasis on her influence. When he announced his intentions and started taking his "medications" (diagnosed Bipolar, 2 previous attempts, who the hell was his idiot shrink?), Libra was rising so Venus ruled this event chart. The police entered Biggs' Jrs' Father's home and found him about 12 hours later right around the time that Libra would have been on the opposite angle, the Descendant. (Just for the record, I've said many times before that I think there is a connection between Venus and Suicide, usually in contact with a Sun aspect.)

Another interesting coincidence was the conjunction of Sun-Mercury and Mars in both charts. That sure is an aspect which signifies SOS or Screaming for Help. In addition, Sun and Mars together is violent. Mercury adds the "neighbor" and "community" theme. It ought to add the "Communication" theme, but in both of these cases that part failed. Both conjunctions were heavily afflicted. Biggs, Jrs' Sun-Mercury-Mars (event chart) was apex to a t-square to Moon opposite Chiron-Neptune. Genovese's Sun-Mercury-Mars (event chart) was conjunct Chiron-Sun and opposing Uranus-Pluto in H8 of murder. It was also layered over her natal Saturn-Neptune opposition.

In Biggs, Jr.'s event chart Sun-Mercury-Mars is crossing the cusp of Scorpio (Sun-Mercury) and Sagittarius (Mars). In Genovese's event chart, there was a huge stellium in Pisces, Sun-Mercury-Mars-Chiron-Moon which was opposing Uranus-Pluto in Virgo. This was layered right on top of Genovese's natal Saturn in Pisces opposition to Neptune in Virgo. In both cases the conjunction was placed in the 2d House opposite the 8th House of Death and Murder. Notice that both event charts just happen to be set for 3:15am, just an interesting coincidence.

Another coincidental connection between the two charts would be the contacts between Moon and Chiron. Moon = the Public and Chiron = not being able to heal a wound. In Biggs, Jr.'s case the Moon was in Leo opposing Chiron (and the North Node). In Genovese's case, the Moon was in Pisces conjunct Chiron (and everything else).

Another coincidence was the presence of unaspected planets in the 3d House of neighbors and community. Unaspected planets literally don't have a relationship with other planets (only ptolomaic aspects considered, there are minor aspects in both cases). This is literally represented by the actual events. In Biggs, Jr.'s case, Pluto was unaspected at the time of his announcement. I wonder if he actually expired as Pluto was passing over the Ascendant. The Witnesses said they noticed that he had stopped breathing around 4 hours or so into the "Event." Venus was conjunct the IC and moving into the 3d House. In Genovese's case, Both Venus and Jupiter were unaspected and in the 3d House. Both victims were screaming for help and not getting it.

Kitty Genovese's chart is almost a prototype for a chart related to a horrible crime. The Saturn-Neptune opposition in Virgo-Pisces would certainly be connected with being a Victim. As I said earlier it was heavily afflicted by transit. She was 28 years old not yet having her Saturn Return so would possibly have been having a Secondary Progressed Lunar Return. Genovese also had a natal t-square with apex Mars in Libra squaring Pluto-South Node opposite North Node in Capricorn. This is a key signature for vulnerability to violence. There is an interesting story connected with her first Nodal Return. Her Mother moved the family out of New York City and up to Connecticut after witnessing a Murder. This was in 1954 when Genovese was 19 (Nodal Return). Her Sun-Nodal Axis was passing over the ASC/DESC angle as she was attacked. I think she was also going through a Nodal opposition. There's really a lot to look at in these charts and I'm not getting to it all.

Abraham Biggs, Jr. was 19 which is an indicator that he was going through a Nodal Return in Aquarius but I don't have his birth time. The conjunction of Neptune and Chiron to the North Node could certainly be an impetus for the public to demand that the psychiatrists dispense their damn pills more responsibly but who's going to listen to me?

May both of these Victim's Souls Rest in Peace. May we all feel their loss deeply and learn to improve our attitudes to the pain of others.

Message In A Bottle

Yahoo has an interesting story of a guy who found an old Bottle with a Message in it while walking around on the beach in North Carolina with his 3 year old daughter. The Message said to contact a Fire Station in New Jersey if found. Since then, Mark Ciarmello of Downingtown, PA has contacted the North Haledon Fire Department. Nobody knows for sure who tossed the message into the ocean but it is assumed that the guys did it as a joke during a fishing trip off the coast. The Yahoo story even talks about the guy who everbody figures must have tossed the bottle. At any rate, whoever tossed the bottle into the message was kind enough to date it so I had to take a look to see if there were any Astro Clues. The Astrology is really amazing.

This gives a 39 year time span which is too long for a Nodal Return. But the North Node is in a water sign, Pisces, which rules the Ocean.

Ruler of Pisces, Neptune, is squaring the Sun on this day which adds to the Ocean imagery. The bottle is very close to approaching it's Neptune square. (Event Neptune is 26 Scorpio. October Neptune is 22 Aquarius.) And, of course, Neptune was in conjunction with the North Node and Chiron in October.

On top of that Mercury, ruler of messages, is strong in its own sign of Virgo and is opposing the North Node. It is conjunct Pluto and the South Node which certainly gives a Fated theme to the story. As a matter of fact, Mercury is aspecting the two planets that with the strongest survival skills, conjunct to Pluto and trining Saturn.

October (of this year, 2008) was the beginning of the Saturn-Uranus opposition and Lo! Behold! transiting Saturn was at 17 Virgo conjunct the Event Mercury 17 Virgo, Pluto 24 Virgo, South Node 22 Virgo. Transiting Uranus, planet of Return Cycles, was conjunct the North Node in Pisces.

The Progressed Chart for the Event is also really incredible. The bottle was tossed during a conjunction of Uranus 2 Libra and Jupiter 6 Libra. That's a festive combo. Jupiter and Uranus together in that sign show that the beer was very much enjoyed.

The Progressed Mercury for the Event Chart is currently very close to this pair at 10 Libra and it is Retrograde. The Mercury Retrograde is very significant and are said to bring back messages and people from the past. The Progressed Mercury Rx is a very long lasting event so this would not be significant by itself if not transiting Mercury had also been in Retrograde from Oct. 1-16 at 21 to 8 degrees of Libra. I wish I knew what day the bottle was found. It would be really incredible if it had been found in the beginning of October instead of the last part while transiting Mercury RX was in conjunction with Progressed Mercury Rx.

As the Moon was also in Libra that day and the Moon likely represents Bottles (I'll have to double check that with Rex Bills) it would be triply interesting if the prog. and t. Retrograde Mercury's were in conjunction with the time that the bottle was tossed. The Noontime chart gives a middle Libra degree so it's very possible if the men were fishing in the morning.

One last thing. The part about the Firemen throwing the bottle is represented here. Mars represents Firemen. Mars was at 12 Sagittarius. That's a Fire Planet in a Fire Sign. Mars is also special in this chart as he is out of bounds at 25 degrees 22' 58". That certainly indicates a long distance toss. 400 miles and 39 year long throw. Sagittarius rules long distance. And Mars indicates physical strength.

This is so much fun. It goes on and on, even without the birth dates of the people involved. There were 3 Lunar Eclipses in 1969. The one closest to the event was on Aug. 27, 1969. It was the last Eclipse of Saros 108. Someday, maybe that will have some meaning...

On the introductory page, Curtis wonders about whether there is some astronomical reason between different events happening on earth. 25 years to the minute that the Astronauts landed on the moon, a bolt of lightening struck a tree very close to Curtis. At that point a comet was crashing into Jupiter. Here are the 2 times for the events, as far as I can tell:

I know that Alice McDermott has found that the Vertex shows fated encounters, for sure Nodes and Pluto do. But, like I said, I've probably got the wrong times here.)

Both Charts have Sun 29 Cancer, Ascendant 19 Pisces, Vertex 26 Virgo.

Lightning Strike has Pluto 26 Virgo conjunct NN 22 Scorpio.
Moon Walk has Pluto 24 Virgo conjunct Vertex 26 Vertex and South Node 23 Virgo conjunct Descendant.

The Lightning Strike has Neptune conjunct Uranus in Capricorn opposite Sun.
The Moon Walk has Uranus conjunct Jupiter at 1 Libra with Moon just past conjunction at 12 Libra.

Chuck Close

I'm taking a look at another Portrait Painter's chart, the artist Chuck Close, a photo-realist portrait painter. There's an excellent DVD Documentary about him called "Chuck Close - A Portrait in Process" which I highly recommend. I knew that Close was a successful painter of Big Heads in a photo-realist style but never really appreciated the extreme Realism of his work or the grid patterns within which he worked. Amazingly, his work became much more playful and expressive after he suffered spinal damage from a blood clot. He had figured out how to strap the brush onto his hand and to continue with his painting and the results actually improved his style! The Documentary does a brilliant job of explaining his unfoldment as an artist.

There were a couple of things I personally wanted to check for in his chart. The first thing was that he's remarkably indecisive and liked to impose rules on himself within his painting in order to deal with that Indecision. He's got a Libra North Node which squares his Cancer Sun. This is a positive quality for him to develop in this lifetime where for most people it would be a hindrance. The Second thing I was curious about was his Saturn, of course. The whole issue about imposing rules, embracing limits, working within a structure, finding Joy in that process. That's not widely accepted among modern artists who want to just start working without a goal in mind. Close has Saturn (limits) conjunct Jupiter (possibilities) in Taurus at one end of the boundary of a Bundle Chart. Instead of a trine as is usual for a Bundle, he has a Quintile to the other end by Neptune in Libra. Quintiles (5th Harmonic aspects) are strong indicators for creative, artistic talent, as well as obsessiveness. Libra and Taurus which are ruled by Venus and naturally rule the Arts and Artistic talent. Close's entire chart is contained within this Quintile which shows a person with a strong focus. What greater chart for a photo (Neptune) realist (Saturn) painter(in signs ruled by Venus)?

Chuck Close

Sun 14 Cancer; Moon probably in Cancer; NN 16 Libra

Sun in Cancer painters (like Rembrandt and Hopper) often tend to show a very moody streak through intense use of lighting. (Well, Calder was also a Cancer, so this doesn't always apply) Close doesn't do that. Instead he shows very simply a head in a kind of "in your face" type format. Confrontational as he describes it. That's all there is; just a frontal view copied directly off of a photography and painted in a pixilated format through the use of the grid. It seems as far from imagination as one could get. How could this guy be a Double Cancer, both Sun and Moon ruled by the Moon? Well, often the imagination is in the eye of the viewer and Close sets this up for you. When you stand far away, you see the Face. You actually do know a lot about the person you are looking at, their character and their feelings, it's just not expressed through the marks. When you walk up close you see only the marks. And the older (and sicker) Close gets the more fascinating these marks become. For a while he was using his thumbprints. He now fills each square grid up with circles within circles of colors, he says 5-7 colors at a time. They combine, just like your TV or computer screen to create the portrait only from far away. I think this handling of Spacial format is probably a Cancerian quality as the 4th House rules environment and place.

Close's huge tragic life events seem to both coincide roughly with his Jupiter Returns. Jupiter in Taurus conjunct Saturn in Taurus? That sounds like the perfect aspect for a banker or investment advisor. What a difference the aspect to Neptune makes! (I should have checked for marriage dates and birth of children.)

The first set of events happened, shortly before his 12th Birthday when his father died unexpectantly. The Wikipedia article says that in addition to this event that year was full of trouble. His Mother got Breast Cancer, they lost their home due to Medical Bills, his Grandmother developed Parkinson's and he himself spent the year in bed with nephritis, a kidney infection. This all happened just as Jupiter was returning to its natal spot, conjunct Saturn (Father, loss). This conjunction is squaring a natal conjunction Close has of Mars-Pluto-Mercury in Leo. Close describes how he actually observed (Mercury) his Father hit his head (Mars) and felt powerless (Pluto) because he was too weak to pick him up. Transiting Pluto was conjunct t. South Node at some point during that year which would have been squaring Close's natal Uranus, which is in Taurus like his Jupiter and Saturn. Close's Father sounds like an almost Gepetto-type man who built him all kinds of toys for his son, a guy who could build anything. I get the sense that Close learned how to fix his illness, to tie his hand into a brace that would hold the brush for him, by lessons learned from his Father. Unfortunately, once Jupiter, passes over it's natal position at this time, it begins to square his natal planets one after another in rapid succession. That could explain the extreme nature of his experiences. It would have squared his Venus (kidneys, worries about finances) and then his Moon and Chiron in Cancer (mother, grandmother, illnesses, loss of home).

Close suffered his paralysis after a blood clot formed in his spine suddenly on Dec. 7, 1988. At this point, Jupiter was again in Taurus, past the Return, and conjunct Uranus (sudden event, circulatory system in the body). His progressed Sun was on the very last seconds of Leo and passing into Virgo along with progressed Mars so Health issues became a concern. Chiron was passing through Cancer opposing transiting Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. These were all approaching conjunction-opposition to his Sun-Moon-Chiron but weren't yet close enough to be within orb. Once again, Pluto and the Nodes were aspecting each other but this time in a Grand Trine with his natal Sun, perhaps a sign that he would be protected in some way or have the inner strength to glide himself through yet another intense struggle.

Close's Venus is extremely prominent in his natal chart which is fitting for an artist, especially a painter. It is on the last degree of Gemini at an Aries Point (artistic talent to be brought before the public). It's also Retrograde, an Air singleton and it rules his North Node. It's almost as if he was being called upon to impose more limitations on himself in order to develop further his artistic vision. He also has Chiron in Cancer so Venus was set to soon pass over both the Moon and "the Wounded Teacher" aspect. An event that slowly heals over time. Through his determination, he is teaching the rest of the world how to deal with their obstacles. His wife explains that his painting was considered as important a part of his rehabilitation as anything else.

Someday I hope to have his birth time in order to look at the Ascendant and Moon, but as it is his chart tells so much. HaHa, maybe best to read this one while working within strict limitations!

Evelyn Frayre

Evelyn Frayre is the baby girl from Texas whose Mother in a fit of despair hung her four children and herself on May 29, 2006. Evelyn was rescued by her Aunt and is apparently in very good health! What's interesting astrology-wise is that Evelyn was apparently born on the same day as Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannie Lynn Hope (see URL down at bottom). They are not yet 9 months old but these two little girls from completely different environments have led very very tragic lives. They were both born during the Virgo-Pisces eclipse last September that squared Pluto at the Galactic Center. This is some potent stuff!

So, here's another one of these miracle baby stories that I keep finding: tiny babies surviving, 60 year olds giving birth to twins. Evelyn and Dannie Lynn both lost Mothers (through depression) and Siblings and are stuck in Paternity suits and they are not even 9 months old. One thing is for sure, they are survivors. And I sure hope they will experience nothing but joy in their lives from now on.

Sun 15 Virgo; Moon in Pisces; NN 27 Virgo

When Evelyn's Mother, Gilberta Estrada, was 5 months pregnant with Evelyn, she moved her other 3 girls and herself into a Battered Women's Shelter (June 2006) in order to escape her abusive husband. Because she was pregnant, the family stayed in the shelter until after Evelyn was born. Evelyn is actually named after the family's Social Worker. Already the themes of Virgo-Pisces are showing up here. Social Services, Institutions, probably Drugs.

Evelyn has 4 planets in Virgo opposite 2 planets in Pisces, some touching the Nodal Axis. This reminds me of the chart of Shura Wevill, Robert Hughes daughter, who was killed when her Mother committed suicide and took her too (see Assia & Shura Wevill, Oct. 28, 2006). Shura's chart chart also had a heavy Pisces-Virgo axis. Of course, not all kids with these oppositions suffer extreme crises like this, charts are more complicated than that.

The particular planets involved are important, for example. Mars conjuncts the South Node along with Lilith in Virgo and is squared by Pluto in Sagittarius. Violence, sacrifice, power trips between the parents that are tied in with the Life Path. Lilith is the story of a woman who lost all her children to death.

Evelyn's Moon is conjunct Uranus in Pisces in the noontime chart but could also be conjunct the North Node in Pisces. That could indicate Mood Disorders or erratic behavior of the Mother. I sort of wonder what kind of prescription drugs Gilberta Estrada was given. I assume that the Father had an addiction to illegal drugs or alcohol.

Here are the Virgo planets: Sun 15 Virgo-Mercury 21 Virgo-Lilith 26-South Node 26 Virgo-Mars 30 Virgo squaring Pluto 25 Sagittarius.

I figure that Pluto's conjunction to the Galactic Center and the Eclipses in Virgo and Pisces of the last year had a great deal to do with this chart. I didn't check, but I seem to remember that there was an eclipse very close to this date while looking at Dannie Lynn's chart.

Also, of note, is the powerful out planet t-square that Evelyn has. Saturn at 19 Leo is opposite Neptune at 18 Aquarius. The opposition was just starting at that point and will finally have its last pass this month. The most stressful first 9 months I can ever imagine for a baby. But what a great chart for an Artist or Musician! The opposition was squared by Jupiter in Scorpio at the time of Evelyn's birth (15 Scorpio). That leaves the empty leg of the t-square in Taurus. As Taurus rules the neck area I wonder if maybe this had something to do with her super strong neck. The Doctors said that the baby fat she has around her neck may have provided extra protection.

Finally, Evelyn's Venus is at 2 Virgo unaspected, showing complications in relationships with women regarding pent-up insecurities. She also has no planets in Cardinal Signs. I wonder if this actually helped her as she may not have put up a struggle and this may have helped her wind pipe. I apologize for the weird thoughts, but, I'm trying to understand a Miracle here so cut me a break.

The Transits seem to surround Jupiter which had moved into Sagittarius and was squaring the transiting Nodes at the time of the incident. Jupiter rules Luck and Protection. The South Node would have been conjunct Evelyn's Sun (Vitality).

Rough Notes on 1776

The year 1776 keeps coming up as a significant year for New Beginnings in Society so I thought I'd take a look at basic information of what was going on that year. It's Tax Day and I'm feeling very very taxed and this is all I'm gonna do.

The Significant events that I'm aware of are:

Signing of the Declaration of Independence: July 4, 1776, Philadelphia, PA, late in the afternoon.

Publishing of Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. Founding of Modern Economics Theory. (no birth date, Astrotheme gives Apr. 5, 1723 but I have no clue where they got this date from as no one else will commit to it. All I've found is that Smith was born after his Father died in January 1723 and baptized on June 5, 1723)

Publishing of History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by James Gibbon. The similarity of American Culture to Roman culture is pretty amazing. Gibbon gives the reasons for the Fall of the Roman empire, laziness and softness due to outsourcing. Sounds familiar. Why is Enlightenment so fleeting?

The Outer Planet placements for Jan. 1, 1776:

Jupiter 14 Gemini Rx; Saturn 21 Libra; Uranus 4 Gemini Rx; Neptune 25 Virgo; Pluto 26 Capricorn; NN 17 Leo; Chiron 12 Aries

The Outer Planet placements for Dec. 31, 1776:

Jupiter 22 Cancer; Saturn 2 Scorpio; Uranus 8 Gemini; Neptune 28 Virgo; Pluto 28 Capricorn; NN 28 Cancer; Chiron 16 Aries

The North Node placement in Cancer at the end of the year seems significant for Founding a Nation as Cancer is the sign associated with Patriotism, Home, Hearth, Borders. Pluto was conjunct the South Node at the end of the year.

There was an Earth Trine between Neptune in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn the entire year. A feeling (water) of spiritual harmony (trine) that can be expressed in Nature and the Real World (Earth).

ECLIPSES

Here are the Eclipses I've found. There seems to be something significant about each one in terms of its placement in its Saros Series.

In July there was an Eclipse of historical note called James Cook's Lunar Eclipse. This was first in a series of 4 James Cook Eclipses that occurred over the next year. This eclipse is interesting in that it was the first after the signing of the Declaration of Independence and is maybe a Lunar Return Chart for the DOI's chart: It has 9 Aquarius Moon. It also has South Node at 7 Aquarius with Sun conjunct North Node in Leo. It also has 20 Sagittarius Rising which is close to the Rising Sign for the Sibley chart. In this way, it reinforces that energies of that chart.

Well, here's an interesting addendum to what I wrote about the eclipses. I have since purchased professional software which shows all the eclipses that occurred and 1776 and 1777 are exceptional in that they both had 6 eclipses a year. Usually there are 4 per year.

Amillia Taylor - Tiny Angel

Amillia Taylor is the Miracle of the Year. By the Doctor's own words, she was too small and too young to survive her birth, yet she was born breathing on her own and she just went home a couple of weeks ago. This week's Newsweek magazine has a really interesting article on why Doctors are speculating she did survive. She was conceived by artificial insemination and there was a miscommunication regarding the insemination date between her Mom and the Hospital. The Doctor says that he wouldn't have considered trying to save a baby under 23 weeks and she was born at 21 weeks, 6 days. She weighed only 10 ounces and was 9 1/2 inches long. There's a photo of her on the Internet lying next to a ball point pen and she's only a little bit longer.

I still haven't been able to find her birth time. Arbitrarily put in 9 am because her birth was Cesarean Section so I figure she would have been born during Doctor's hours. This time is amazing because it makes her a Triple Scorpio. But she would still be a Scorpio Torpedo anyway because there were 6 planets (if Moon included) that day: Sun-Mars-Venus all exactly conjunct on the first degree of Scorpio (squaring Chiron) and Jupiter-Mercury exactly conjunct at 24 Scorpio with Moon (in 9am chart) at 26 degrees. No wonder why she was breathing on her own. Scorpios are known for self-sufficiency!! Also determination.

Final Dispositor Pluto is at 25 Sagittarius exactly squaring the North Node at 25 Pisces! More Scorpio! This tension is released by Saturn in Leo which is trining Pluto and inconjunct the Nodes. This is an Extreme Baby!!!!! The Mercury-Jupiter conjunction is trining the Nodes and might account for why Amillia came out breathing on her own, especially if Moon is also trining and the Mercury-Jupiter-Moon conjunction is on the Ascendant as it is in the 9am chart. Mercury rules Bronchial tubes and Moon and Mercury rule Lungs. (I think I've also read somewhere that Neptune rules the Lungs as well, which would be explained by Pisces North Node.)

Uranus is unaspected in Pisces (unless aspected by the Moon or angles) and in mutual reception with Neptune so these little Miracles seem to keep happening and happening these days along with the Tsunamis and the Tornadoes.

Amillia also has no planets in Earth Signs. Perhaps this explains her inexplicable ability to survive on Earth.

Reasons given in the article on factors that may have helped to increase her survival (mention of Scorpio is excluded, of course):

1) Doctors avoided delivery for 9 days after Mother went into labor.
2) Doctors administered steroids to speed up the development of her lungs so she could breathe on her own. But she was born after her Mother's water broke and suffered an infection from being inside a dry womb.
3) Babies mature faster when under stress.
4) Her gender and race may have factored in. Black baby girls mature fastest in the womb. White male babies develop slowest.
